Cardi B let fans in on what really goes down inside the Met Gala with a new Instagram post on Wednesday (May 3), in which she shared a series of star-studded photos.

The photo carousel showed the “I Like It” rapper posing with Bad Bunny, Doja Cat, Halle Bailey and more, but the sweetest snap was a screenshot of a FaceTime between Billie Eilish and Cardi’s four-year-old daughter Kulture. In the picture, the two are both sweetly smiling into the camera.

The rapper encompassed the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” Met Gala theme by channeling the late German fashion designer on the red carpet in a sleek tuxedo gown, complete with massive black Chanel-inspired Camellia flowers and a Lagerfeld-inspired grey hairdo. “This skirt is giving Chanel Boy bag, and the flowers — when you get a Chanel purse, you always get white flowers but this one is black. Up top, it’s giving Karl,” Cardi told Vogue on the red carpet. “I’m representing the House of Chanel and Karl at the same time.”

Eilish, meanwhile, opted for a stunning black, see-through lace custom Simone Rocha gown, with her hair in a long black braid down her side.

The Met Gala’s new Lagerfeld-inspired exhibition will showcase more than 150 original looks designed by Lagerfeld, who died at 85 years old in 2019, delving into the former Chanel creative director’s expansive seven-decade career. Many of his original sketches are also set to appear alongside the objects on display.

Cardi B served not one, but two different looks at the 2023 Met Gala on Monday night (May 1), kicking off the evening while leaving NYC’s The Mark Hotel in a pink chiffon gown, with florals blooming out like wings behind her.

However, when she got to the Met Gala, Cardi appeared in a sleek tuxedo gown, complete with massive black roses and a Karl Lagerfeld-inspired grey hairdo. Eagle-eyed fashion fans noticed that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s two looks were likely in reference Chanel’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2017 show, in which Lily-Rose Depp walked the runway in a frilly, powder pink gown. Lagerfeld later joined her on the runway in a sleek, shiny tux.

The rapper’s stunning outfit perfectly fits this year’s theme, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, which honors the iconic fashion designer who died in February 2019 and his seven-decade career.

Cardi B definitely isn’t hurting for money these days, but if you owe that woman some court ordered coin, best believe she’ll be coming for anything that isn’t nailed to the floor to collect what she’s owed.

AllHiphop is reporting that YouTube personality Tasha K is learning the lesson first hand as the Grammy Award-winning rapper is looking to get the $4 million that she was awarded in her defamation lawsuit. A month after being awarded the “W” in her defamation case, Cardi is wasting no time in getting her money and is already taking the procedural steps to have Tasha K’s assets taken to satisfy the $4 million lawsuit.

According to documents obtained by AllHipHop, a writ of execution was filed against Tasha K and Kebe Studios LLC in Georgia on Thursday (April 20). The court order cleared the way for Cardi B to collect the judgment awarded to her in a defamation lawsuit.
Cardi B filed the lawsuit against Tasha K back in 2019 after the vlogger who has over a million subscribers made numerous videos about Cardi in which she claimed that Cardi used hardcore drugs, cheated on her husband, Offset, and even claimed she had herpes. Instead of taking it to the streets like pre-Love & Hip-Hop Cardi B might’ve done, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper took the legal route and was eventually awarded over $4 million for defamation, invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress.
Though Tasha K apologized for her videos and tried to appeal the verdict, this past March a court upheld the decision and left her on the hook for the cool $4 mil. Just a few days ago, Tasha K took to IG to show just how much in debt she’s in, and whew, she’s about to be broke as hell forreal forreal.

We doubt Cardi B’s moved or amused by the post.
What do y’all think about Cardi B coming for Tasha K’s assets? Let us know in the comments section below.

Cardi B is never shy about expressing her opinion. She recently stated the obvious after a very suspect clip of the Dalai Lama surfaced online.

As spotted on TMZ the Bronx, New York native felt in a serious way about a video showing the spiritual leader of Tibet asking a young boy to suck his tongue. While the moment originally took place back in February footage of the very inappropriate video resurfaced this week. As expected folks online were shocked and disgusted that a man of such power would openly engage with an underaged child in such an intimate manner. Include in this group was the “Up” rapper who took to social media to voice her concerns while not directly mentioning the holy man directly.

“This world is full of predators. They prey on the innocent” she wrote. “The ones who are most unknowing, our children. Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people wit money ,power & our churches. Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”

Naturally, her tweet quickly went viral and while she received overwhelming support for speaking out there were plenty of people that accused her of engaging in predatory tactics back in her stripper days. A couple of years back on Instagram Live she admitted that as a dancer she often would go back with men, drug them and rob them. Some folks were quick to call her a hypocrite and she continued to defend her original stance. “How are ya’ll bringing up a situation from my past when GROWN A** DRUNK MEN were trying to take advantage of me and finesse me out of body because I said protect ya kids from predators?” Cardi B asked.
The Dalai Lama’s office has since apologized for his behavior saying he often “teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras.” You can see Cardi B respond to the criticism below.

Cardi B was looking flawless and fresh-faced on her Instagram Stories on Thursday (April 6), thanks to a little encouragement from her husband Offset.

The “I Like It” rapper took her Stories to share a selfie video, in which she’s seen posing without makeup on, with her jaw tattoo of her son’s name on full display. “My hubby said take a video like this. No makeup, no filter. Period,” she said in the clip.

“We’ve been through a lot with each other,” Offset previously told Billboard of keeping his relationship strong with Cardi, whom he’s been married to since 2017. “Some people in Hollywood live through Hollywood, but we live through each other and keep our stuff at home good. We go through ups and downs at home but have a great support system. Everybody listens to each other and have each other’s back. At the end of the day, our mission is to be successful and take care of the family.”

He also added that no matter what he has going on, he will always make time to hang out with his wife and the couple’s two kids, four-year-old daughter Kulture and one-year-old son Wave. “I got to be with my baby. I can’t go too long without her,” the rapper says of Cardi. “If I have to travel and jump on a jet just to get back home, I will. We got the kids at home. That’s why we’re always together. We have to make sure they’re good, because we don’t want to be the parents who are always missing from their kids. We work and come right back home, because it’s really important.”

Cardi B is known for sharing her thoughts on various topics while chatting with fans on Instagram Live, and her recent livestream session on Friday (March 31) was no different.

At some point during the conversation, the “I Like It” rapper got on the topic of women claiming that they have sex with their partner multiple times every day, according to Hip-Hop DX. “You practically telling the world that your man on drugs,” she said. “Your n—-’s on drugs, your man is on drugs. ‘Cause there ain’t no way.”

The “WAP” rapper, who has been married to fellow star Offset since 2017, added that while she gets why someone would want to have sex all day, it’s not realistic. “If your man wanna have sex with you four, five times a day… and we do that everyday… Girl, your man is on percs, or your man is trying to convince himself that he likes p—-,” she explained.

“That is not a flex. Go stitch your p—- up. Your man is sick,” Cardi concluded.

Last week, Cardi’s vodka-infused whipped cream, Whipshots, revealed that it has sold more than 2 million cans and expanded into new markets. “We just went double platinum! We’re not playing around when we say Whipshots is the best,” Cardi said in a statement. “Boozy and beautiful since day one, and two million cans later, there is no slowing us down. I love the fans supporting our brand – let’s keep this party going!”

The boozy, non-dairy whipped cream, which sold its first million cans in just 10 months, went on to sell another million cans four months later.

Cardi B’s Whipshots are doing better than ever. The vodka-infused whipped cream has sold more than 2 million cans and expanded into new markets, the brand announced Wednesday (March 29).

“We just went double platinum! We’re not playing around when we say Whipshots is the best,” Cardi said in a statement. “Boozy and beautiful since day one, and two million cans later, there is no slowing us down. I love the fans supporting our brand – let’s keep this party going!”

The Bronx native partnered with Starco Brands to release the boozy, non-dairy whipped cream, which sold its first million cans in just 10 months and went on to sell another million cans four months later.

Whipshots retail for $5.99 for the smaller, 50-milliliter can, while the larger, 200-milliliter can is $14.99.

“The overwhelming demand for Whipshots across the U.S. has been astounding and is a true testament to what’s possible when you have an incredible product and best-in-class retail partners,” noted Starco Brands CEO Ross Sklar.

Cardi B and Starco launched Whipshots in December 2021 with vanilla, mocha and caramel flavors. A limited-edition peppermint flavor was released around the holidays last year.

In addition to reaching a sales milestone, Whipshots has expanded into 26 markets around the U.S. including new states such as Delaware, Georgia, New Jersey and Tennessee.

The brand picked up new retail partners as well, including Meijer, Albertsons, Walmart, Vons, Rouses, Woodman’s and Giant Eagle. Whipshots are also available online at Total Wine & More and through delivery apps such as Instacart, Door Dash, Drizzly and GoPuff.

Although she’s not the only recording artist to sell booze, Cardi opened up about her vision for Whipshots in an interview with Complex last year.

“I feel like if it was just mediocre, people would just be like, ‘Ah, whatever.’ Things are always going to sell when you have hard-core fans, but I wanted this to be big,” she said at the time. “Like, bigger than life, and that is always the goal. So I believe in my product. I love my product. It’s delicious and it’s very strong. And I feel like everybody keeps giving me positive feedback.”

Sure, Cardi B shows off her impressive dance moves and twerking skills in music videos like “Up,” but she admits that her talents do have some limitations.

The rapper took to Twitter on Wednesday (March 22) to respond to a fan who suggested that she and her husband Offset recreate the high-energy dance breakdown in Michael and Janet Jackson’s 1995 hit, “Scream.”

“Offset YES…..Me? …..my knee already broke,” Cardi jokingly replied, retweeting the video.

It’s been an exciting year for Cardi, who recently released a personalized Valentine’s-ready McDonald’s meal with the Migos rapper, featuring Quarter Pounder with cheese, a cheeseburger, side of BBQ sauce, a large fry and apple pie to share, and two large drinks.

Along with the McDonald’s meal, Cardi and Offset also released a full merch collection filled with T-shirts, hoodies, booty shorts and beanies emblazoned with plenty of puns (“nice buns”), signature catchphrases (Cardi’s famous “ok uu rr rr rr”) and more.

In February, Cardi surprised an ecstatic crowd as a special guest at GloRilla’s New York City concert, where the pair teamed up to perform their hit collab “Tomorrow 2,” just weeks after the former and her husband dazzled with a pre-Super Bowl set in Arizona attended by Serena Williams, Tiffany Haddish and more.

Tasha K, one of the biggest celebrity bloggers in the game, apologized to Cardi B after a $4 million defamation lawsuit verdict was upheld this week. Taking to Twitter, the media figure promised that the snafu leading to the lawsuit will never happen again but seemingly deleted the tweet although it was shared via Instagram.
Tasha K, birth name LaTasha Kebe, filed an appeal to the $4 million defamation lawsuit filed by Cardi B after Kebe made a post in 2018 accusing the rapper and social media star of having sexually transmitted diseases. The court sided with Cardi B, ordering Kebe to pay just under $4 million in damages. Tasha K was, at first, defiant after the ruling and kept the posts up until she was presented with further legal action that would have led to her imprisonment.

An appeal against the defamation lawsuit was appealed by Kebe last September and she was ordered the next month to pay the outstanding damages until a hearing in court transpired.
“Damn Winos!” We lost the appeal against Cardi B sad day. But I’m gonna be alright. I appreciate all your love & support. Throughout this fight. Today we throw in the white flag. What happened will never happen again. To Cardi & her team, I apologize sincere. We live and learn,” Kebe’s tweet read.

She followed that tweet with, “Please Do NOT Donate to Any GoFundMe’s in my name at all! If you get scammed, it ain’t on me! Just FYI.”
Leaning into the results of the verdict, Tasha K shared a photo of herself in a McDonad’s uniform with the caption reading, “#TashaKGetsAJOB I will let y’all what Part-Time gig I get so I can pay off this damn debt. #iaintgotit but I’m gonna get it” and tagging fast food brands Wendy’s and Burger King along with the aforementioned McDonald’s.
Cardi B has yet to make a public comment about the defamation lawsuit verdict being upheld.
