Ye speaks his thoughts on the Drake and Kendrick beef. Rapper Ye hosted a Grammys afterparty on Sunday, when he spoke about if he thinks Drake is down for the count.

Justin Laboy:

So Kendrick killed Drake — he’s dead,

Ye:

Yeah, for now. You can’t ever count out Steph Curry. So that man might hit 200 points in one, you know, song.

Tetris Kelly:

Ye, who has a long, complicated history with the Canadian rapper, compared Drake to a superhero who’s taking a short L, for a little bit.

Ye:

Or at least he took him down for a little bit. Maybe it’s like in superhero films where characters like Wolverine or something just goes away for a couple of films.

Tetris Kelly:

Ye also seemed to give his frenemy Drake and Kendrick their flowers by stating: “Drake something to the algorithm to our frequency. He advanced us. Future advanced us and now Kendrick advanced the frequency.”

Still at 10, Morgan Wallen, and down to nine is Gracie Abrams. “DtMF” slides to eight, as does Billie to seven. Teddy swims rises to six. AndShaboozey slips to five. “Luther” is up to No. 4. The trilogy is complete. The Weeknd’s new album has arrived and not only is it full of some major collabs, he’s heading on tour. This is music you should know: ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow.’ Concluding the trilogy that began with 2020’s ‘After Hours’ and 2022’s ‘Dawn FM,’ The Weeknd experiments on the 84-minute ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow.’ It features Lana Del Rey, Travis Scott, Anitta and more. The Toronto crooner announced the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ Tour, where he’s hitting some stadiums and bringing Playboi Carti with him. The city of L.A. got together at two arenas to raise money after the recent wildfires. We take you to FireAid in ‘Billboard All Access.’ Olivia Rodrigo had the crowd singing every word in the Intuit Dome and so did Tate McRae. Kamala Harris and her husband Doug stopped by and were greeted to roaring applause from the crowd. Over at the Kia Forum, the vibes were going with Stevie Nicks. And nobody was ready to see Nirvana’s surviving members reunite — with added star power. Back at the Intuit Dome, Billie Eilish and Finneas captivated. Kelsea Ballerini is leaving internet trolls behind and embracing a new family on season 27 of The Voice and we sat down with the coaches. Already Adam Levine is saying, with Kelsea, some tense judging days are behind him. 

John Legend:

We do compete, but it doesn’t get dirty. It doesn’t get dirty.

Adam Levine:

We all let each other speak. We don’t talk over each other. It used to get so ugly guys, you don’t even know, man. We used to scream over each other. 

John Legend:

He’s still traumatized from those days. 

Adam Levine:

You know what’s crazy? I have realized through this process, which has become therapy of the sort, that I was in such a chaotic environment like me and Blake are slanging hate at each other like everyone’s yelling and screaming. It was so different, but I wouldn’t be able to even stomach or handle that at this point. This is the perfect place. I’m in the right place. It’s a safe space.

Tetris Kelly:

We’re happy, Adam’s happy. And when it comes to advice for the new country princess coach, Michael Bublé has this to say about fakeness.

Michael Bublé:

What I said to her was this, that friendships don’t happen. It’s fake.
