Ke Personajes, Big One, and FMK’s “Un Finde: Big One Crossover #2” claims a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart (dated May 13). The song enters into a tie with Bizarrap and Shakira’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” for the second-longest reign in 2023, trailing Big One’s own “En La Intimidad,” with Emilia and Callejero Fino, which dominated for seven consecutive weeks starting the Feb. 25-dated ranking.
BM’s “M.A (Mejores Amigos)” holds strong at No. 2, four weeks after it became his first No. 1 (chart dated April 15).
The Hot Shot Debut of the week goes to Emilia’s “Jagger” at No. 11. Prince Royce collects his 33rd top 10 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay Chart as “Me EnRD” debuts at No. 9 on the May 6-dated survey. The song was released via Smiling Prince/Sony Music Latin on April 20, the same date the Dominican artist premiered it live at the eighth annual Latin American Music Awards in Las Vegas.
“Me EnRD” bows at No. 9 with 3.33 million audience impressions earned in the U.S. during its first tracking week ending April 27, according to Luminate. The romantic bachata is just the second song to start in the upper tier so far in 2023, after Marshmello and Manuelle Turizo’s “El Merengue” launched at No. 4 on the list dated March 18.
Among 36 career entries, “Me EnRD” gives Royce his 33rd top 10 on Tropical Airplay, and his fifth to debut in the region. At its No. 9 start, it’s his best debut since the 11-week champ “Déjà Vu,” with Shakira, launched at No. 2 in March 2017.
Royce’s 33 top 10s rank fifth on the all-time list, tied with Elvis Crespo, where Victor Manuelle still leads with 64 top 10s since the chart’s inception in 1994. Here’s the leaderboard:

Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma continue their Billboard charts takeover as “Ella Baila Sola” debuts at No. 7 on the Regional Mexican Airplay ranking (dated May 6). The new airplay top 10 lands as the song extends its No. 1 domination for a fourth week on Hot Latin Songs.
“Ella Baila Sola,” written by Eslabon Armado’s lead singer Pedro Tovar, was released March 17 via DEL/Prajin Parlay. It’s the first single from the sad sierreño group’s album Desvelado, which dropped April 27.
The viral hit debuts in the top 10 on Regional Mexican Airplay with 4.5 million in audience impressions earned in the U.S. in the week ending April 27, according to Luminate. As “Ella Baila” bows at No. 7, it becomes Eslabon Armado’s highest start on the chart among three total entries, all top 10s. The Mexican American group placed a No. 1 through the Ulices Chaidez’ collab “Te Encontré” in June 2021. Prior, the No. 3-peaking “Con Tus Besos” earned the quartet its first top 10 in Sept. 2020.
As “Ella” arrives in the upper region, Peso Pluma captures his first top 10 on his first chart appearance. He joins six other artists who have earned a first top 10 with their maiden entries in 2023. Here’s a recap:

Notably, among the 38 tracks that have ranked in the top 10 on Regional Mexican Airplay so far in 2023, “Ella” becomes the first track to debut in the top 10.
Further, “Ella” also makes its first Latin Airplay appearance, at No. 20, the highest start for both Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma there.
Becky G and Peso Pluma add a new top 10 to their Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart count, as “Chanel” powers from No. 15 to No. 9 on the ranking dated May 6. As the pair’s first partnership advances to the upper region, Peso Pluma places seven simultaneous songs in the top 10 (and 15 across the chart), the most ever for a regional Mexican act. The septenary includes “Ella Baila Sola,” with Eslabon Armado, in its fourth consecutive week in charge.
“Chanel” advances with gains in all metrics that contribute to Hot Latin Songs: streams, sales and airplay. It registered 10.2 million official U.S. streams during the April 21-27 tracking week, according to Luminate. That sum yields a No. 42 debut on the overall Streaming Songs chart and top 10 flight on Latin Streaming Songs, where it pushes 14-10 in its second week, with a 33% increase.
Sales rose 49%, to 1,000, in the same period. That drives “Chanel” 14-6 on Latin Digital Song Sales, jumping 14-6. The song also makes progress on the radio front, up 386% to 1 million audience impressions.
Becky G adds her sixth Hot Latin Songs top 10, and her first in the region since last year’s “Mamiii,” with Karol G, became her first No. 1, having dominated for 10 weeks.
Meanwhile, 23-year-old Peso Pluma notches his seventh Hot Latin Songs top 10 – with all simultaneously in the tier. The feat is historic, as he’s the first regional Mexican artist with as many as seven top 10s in a single frame. Only one other act has charted as many or more top 10 titles together: Bad Bunny grouped between seven and nine songs in the top 10 in 27 distinct weeks in 2020-22.
Prior to Peso Pluma, among core regional Mexican acts Joan Sebastian logged the most concurrent Hot Latin Songs top 10s: four on the Aug. 1, 2015 chart.

Peso Pluma becomes the fifth act with as many as 15 Hot Latin Songs hits in a single week. Bad Bunny boasts 40 such frames, led by a one-week record 24 entries on the May 21, 2022, tally (as his Un Verano Sin Ti made its initial splash on album charts), while Anuel AA, Karol G and Ozuna have also achieved the feat.
Elsewhere, “Chanel” rallies up the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, from No. 88 to No. 56. On the worldwide front, it escalates 85-49 on the Billboard Global 200 and 117-72 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. list.
Meanwhile, Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma’s “Ella Baila Sola” rises to No. 4 on the Hot 100, marking another new high among regional Mexican songs over the chart’s history.
Marshmello captures his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart with “El Merengue,” his collaboration with Manuel Turizo. The new champ climbs 2-1 on the chart dated April 8 and sends “La Bachata,” another one of Turizo’s songs to No. 2 after 14 weeks in charge.
Turizo becomes the first artist to replace himself at No. 1 since Marc Anthony achieved the feat as “Un Amor Eterno” dethroned “De Vuelta Pa La Vuelta,” with Daddy Yankee, in March 2021.
EDM DJ and producer Marshmello secured his first entry on any Latin chart when “El Merengue” debuted at No. 4 on the March 18-dated ranking. Now, he scores his first leader as the song rises with a 6% gain in audience impressions, to 7.5 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending March 30, according to Luminate.
“El Merengue” is the second song from Turizo’s third studio album, 2000, to top Tropical Airplay. The album debuted and peaked at No. 11 on Top Latin Albums (chart dated April 1) and earned him his third top 10 on Latin Rhythm Albums.
As mentioned, “La Bachata” rose to No. 1 in its 10th week where it remained for 14 nonconsecutive weeks.
The Colombian picks up his third straight No. 1 among three career appearances. His first offering arrived through his featured turn on Piso 21’s “Déjala Que Vuelva” which topped the chart for two weeks in 2018.
Elsewhere, “El Merengue” jumps 25-24 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart with a 5% gain in streams. The track logged 3 million official U.S. streams.

It’s the highest ranking for the Colombian cumbia ensemble, while Argentinian Ke Personajes reached No. 1 through their featuring turn on Luka Ra’s “Ya No Vuelvas,” which also features La K’onga, in February.
Nicki Nicole’s “No Voy a Llorar :’)” takes the Hot Shot Debut of the week, at No. 36. It’s her highest start since “Ya Me Fui,” with Bizarrap and Duki, opened at No. 15 in July 2021.

There is a new face on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart: Christopher Comstock, better known as Marshmello, makes his first chart visit with “El Merengue,” with Manuel Turizo, as the song debuts at No. 4 on the March 18-dated ranking. It also becomes the EDM music producer and DJ’s first top 10. Colombian Turizo claims his third straight top 10.
“El Merengue” is a tropical tune peppered with electronic beats and was released March 3 via Joytime Collective/Sony Music Latin. It starts with 6 million in audience impressions earned in the U.S. during the March 3-9 tracking week, according to Luminate.
The song is the first pair-up by the electronic DJ and Turizo. The latter previously spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on Tropical Airplay (starting the August 6, 2022-dated list) with his first official tropical attempt, “La Bachata.” Prior to “La Bachata” Turizo secured a first No. 1 through his featured turn on Piso 21’s “Déjala Que Vuelva” (two weeks at No. 1, 2021), when Tropical Airplay was a station-based chart.
As mentioned, Marshmello lands his first top 10 through his first foray on a Latin chart. He also becomes the third non-Spanish-language-speaking act to secure a top 10 on Tropical Airplay this year. He follows Justin Timberlake and Lil Jon. Timberlake spent five weeks in the top 10 since January through his Romeo Santos three-week champ collab, “Sin Fin,” which debuted and peaked at No. 1 last Sept. Lil Jon, meanwhile, completed three weeks in the top 10 this year through “Let’s Get Crazy,” his partnership with Don Omar. The track peaked at No. 5 last October and held strong in the upper tier for a total of 15 weeks.
“El Merengue” also contributes to the individual Latin Airplay ledgers for Marshmello and Turizo: as the song bows at No. 14 on the all-genre ranking, it becomes Marshmello’s highest start following two English-language tracks that peaked outside the top 40 in 2018. Turizo concurrently scores his highest start there after the No. 25 debut of “La Nota,” with Myke Towers and Rauw Alejandro, in Oct. 2020 (the song later reached No. 1, in Jan. 2021). In total, the Colombian singer-songwriter has landed nine top 10s there, with five of those reaching No. 1.
Elsewhere on Latin charts, “El Merengue” makes its No. 9 debut on Latin Digital Song Sales; a first chart visit and top 10 for Marshmello there.
Further, Turizo makes his debut on the Dance charts as “Merengue” debuts at No. 6 on Hot Dance/ Electronic Songs with 2.7 million U.S. clicks logged in its first tracking week plus 500 downloads.

Elsewhere, 16-year-old Camilo Villaruel, known by his stage name Milo J, has the Greatest Gainer of the week as “Rara Vez” rallies 61-17, a 44-position trek. It’s the closest the Argentinian rapper has gotten to the top as his “Milagrosa” rises to its new No. 61 peak also on the current chart. “Rara” propels to the top 20 mainly supported by its popularity on TikTok, where the song has generated more than 31,000 videos.
Further, Miranda! and Emilia each add a new chart entry with their collab “Uno Los Dos,” at No. 28.
