“Labios Mordidos” is the third preview from Uchis’ fourth studio album Orquídeas, the all-Spanish-language set due Jan. 12. The Colombian now repays the favor, after “Me Tengo Que Ir” — from Karol G’s No. 1 album Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) — placed the pair at No. 19 on Hot Latin Songs last August.
“Labios Mordidos” which translates to “Bitten Lips,” arrives at No. 10 on the strength of streaming activity. The song logged 5.6 million official U.S. streams on latest tracking week of Nov. 24-30, according to Luminate. The seven-figure sum sparks a No. 9 start on the Latin Streaming Songs chart.
Further, “Labios” also begins with 500 downloads sold in the same period, enough for a No. 3 arrival on Latin Digital Song Sales.
With “Labios,” Uchis ups her career top 10 count on Hot Latin Songs to two and her first equal-billed top 10 debut. The new top 10 follows the eight-week ruler “Telepatía” (2021). The ranking blends weekly streaming, sales, and radio airplay data.
Karol, meanwhile, collects her 25th top 10, extending her second-most among women, trailing only Shakira who leads with 35 top 10s. Plus, as“Labios” debuts on the upper tier, la bichota captures her fifth all-women pair-up top 10 debut, the most by a woman in the history of Hot Latin Songs, which dates to 1986. Only one other female pair has racked up a top 10 launch without Karol G as one of the collaborators, Becky G and Natti Natasha with “Sin Pijama” in May 2018.

“Así Es La Vida” leads Tropical Airplay with a 14% improvement in audience impressions, to 4.8 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Nov. 30, according to Luminate.
The song was released Sept. 28 via Sony Music Latin and lands at No. 1 on Tropical Airplay in its ninth week. It unseats Chayanne’s “Bailando Bachata” from the penthouse after 15 weeks in charge, the third-most this decade and the longest-leading song in 2023.
“Así Es La Vida” propels Iglesias back to the top spot after “Bailando,” featuring Descemer Bueno and Gente de Zona, hit No. 1 in 2014. With over nine years to take over Tropical Airplay, it becomes the third-longest gap between No. 1s. Chayanne holds the second-longest span with a 15-year break between “Amor Inmortal” (2008) and “Bailando Bachata” (August 5-dated list). Jennifer Lopez continues to lead with the longest-break between champs — both Marc Anthony collaborations — with a 17-year wait between “No Me Ames” (1999) and “Olvídame y Pega La Vuelta” (2016).

Emilia and TINI unite atop the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart as their team-up, “La_Original.Mp3,” bursts in at No. 1 on the Nov. 18-dated ranking. It’s the second song to launch at the summit in 2023, after another Emilia collaborative track, “Los Del Espacio,” with the all-star team comprising LIT killah, Maria Becerra, FMK, Rusherking, Duki, Tiago PZK and Big One (seven weeks in charge).
“La_Original.Mp3” sends Luck Ra’s “La Morocha,” featuring BM, to No. 2 after the latter’s seven-week domination.
“La Original,” which also scores the Hot Shot Debut of the week, belongs to Emilia’s sophomore album, .Mp3.

Chayanne dances his way back into the top 10 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart as Bailemos Otra Vez debuts at No. 3 on the Nov. 11-dated list. The set becomes his 15th top 10 and his first since 2014.
“It’s the greatest joy!” Chayanne tells Billboard. “I put heart, soul and all my energy into this project and it has rewarded me in the best way, which is the response from the public.”
Bailemos Otra Vez was released Oct. 27 via Sony Music Latin and launches on Latin Pop Albums with 4,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Nov. 2, according to Luminate.
Of the 4,000-unit sum, 3,000 derive from album sales. Streaming activity contributes to 1,000 units, which equals to 1.43 million official on-demand audio and video streams for the album’s songs in its first week, while a negligible amount of activity comes from track-equivalent units. On Latin Pop Albums, one unit equals to one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams for a song on the album.
With Bailemos Otra Vez, Chayanne logs his 15th top 10 — and 12th consecutive — dating back to his self-titled 1989 album, the No. 3-peaking Chayanne. In fact, the Puerto Rican tracks a multi-decade streak of albums that reached the top 10 since the ’80s, a feat achieved by only one other artist, Rocio Durcal, who has placed top 10s in the ‘80s, ‘90s, ’00, ‘10s and ‘20s.

Beyond his Latin Pop Albums top 10 debut, Bailemos opens at No. 35 on Top Latin Albums, his first chart appearance since the No. 1-peaking En Todo Estaré en 2014.
Bailemos was preceded by two songs: “Te Amo y Punto,” which reached No. 6 high on Latin Pop Airplay in 2022, and “Bailando Bachata” which holds strong at No. 1 on Tropical Airplay for a 13th week. The latter ties with Marshmello and Manuel Turizo’s “El Merengue” for the most weeks at the lead there in 2023.
“I’ve always liked to have music and rhythms for all tastes,” Chayanne adds. “From this one, I love bachata. I have the tropical in my DNA, and with this album I wanted to wink at Mexico, a country that has always given me so much love and support, so I have a lot of faith in “Necesito Un Segundo.”
Drake is back on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart after four years as the Spanglish tune “Gently,” featuring Bad Bunny, debuts at No. 1 on the Oct. 21-dated ranking. The artists exchange roles on the chart this time, as compared to Benito’s “MIA” featuring Drake, which dominated for 16 weeks between 2018-19.

“Gently” is one of 23 tracks on the Canadian rapper’s For All The Dogs album, which debuts at No. 1 on the overall Billboard 200 list — his 13th leader there. The dembow track’s No. 1 start is fueled largely by streaming activity, with some digital sales, a normal pattern for both acts’ catalogs. Hot Latin Songs combines streaming, sales data, and radio airplay into its rankings.
“Gently” launches with 24.3 million streams in the U.S. during the Oct. 6-12 tracking week, according to Luminate. That sum bursts into a No. 9 start on the overall Streaming Songs chart and a No. 1 on Latin Streaming Songs.
Sales, too, propel the song to a strong bow: “Gently” nearly generated 2,000 downloads in the U.S., for a No. 1 start on Latin Digital Song Sales.
With “Gently,” Drake nabs his third champ (and third through a collaboration with a Latin artist) among three total entries on the multi-metric survey. His also ruled as a featured artist on Romeo Santos’ “Odio” for 13 weeks in 2014. Meanwhile, as mentioned, Bad Bunny’s “MIA,” (also featuring the Canadian superstar) took charge for 16 weeks, starting with the Oct. 27, 2018-dated list.
Bad Bunny, meanwhile, collects his 13th No. 1, tying Shakira for the fourth-most rulers on the list. Since Hot Latin Songs launched in 1986, Enrique Iglesias continues to have the most No. 1s, with 27. Here’s the review of leaders:

Feid captures his second top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart — and highest charting release yet — with his latest set Mor, No Le Temas a La Oscuridad, which debuts at No. 4 on the Oct. 14-dated survey.
Mor, No Le Temas a La Oscuridad launches with 20,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during the Sept. 29-Oct. 5 tracking week, according to Luminate. It’s the biggest opening week in terms of units among Feid’s six career entries on the overall albums ranking.
On Top Latin Albums, an equivalent album unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album (track equivalent album units, TEA), or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album (streaming equivalent album units, SEA).
Streaming powers most of the album’s activity, with 15,000 of the first week from the consumption method. That figure equals to 20.1 million official U.S. on-demand streams for the album’s songs in its opening week. Traditional albums sales, meanwhile, account for 5,000 units, while a negligible amount derives from track-equivalent unit.
Mor, No Le Temas gives Feid, whose off-stage name is Salomón Villada Hoyos, his second top 10 on Top Latin Albums. The album was released Sept. 28 via Universal Music Latino/UMLE. Previously, Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo: Te Pirateamos El Album peaked at No. 6 in Oct. 2022. The set held in the top 10 for 12 weeks. In between, Sixdo (EP) debuted and peaked at No. 32 last December.
Feid also nabs his highest charting album on the all-genre Billboard 200, as Mor debuts at No. 31. Plus, the album arrives at No. 3 on Latin Rhythm Albums, likewise his highest charting album there.
Mor was previewed by two songs: Feid’s first collab with Sean Paul, “Niña Bonita,” which peaked at No. 41 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, and “Bubalu,” with Rema, that rises 39-32. Further, “Luces de Tecno” debuts at No. 40 on the current tally.

“Mi Ex Tenía Razón” was released Aug. 11 as part of Karol’s Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) which took her to No. 1 on Top Latin Albums (Aug. 26-dated list). The track arrives at the summit on the overall Latin Airplay after it earned 9.8 million audience impressions in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 28, according to Luminate, a 16% gain from the week prior. Plus, it ejects Chencho Corleone’s “Un Cigarrillo” from the lead and sends it to No. 9, after one week in charge (6.41million in audience, down 28%)
With the new leader, Karol becomes the first woman to achieve a No. 1 as a soloist, unaccompanied by any other act, in 2023. The last woman to do so was Rosalía, who accomplished the feat through “Despechá” in Oct. 2022.
In total, among Karol G’s 16 No. 1s, she’s led the Latin Airplay chart five times, unaccompanied by another act. Her first leader overall was “Mi Cama,” with J Balvin, featuring Nicky Jam, in 2018.
Prior to “Razón,” “Provenza” became Karol’s last totally solo ruler, for one week in charge in July 2022. In between, “TQG,” a collaboration with Shakira, spent two weeks at No. 1.
“Razón’s” new peak on Latin Airplay, arrives after its one-week coronation on Hot Latin Songs (Aug. 26-dated list), where it dips 5-6 on the current chart with a 7% decrease in streams, to 7.56 million, and an 18% fall in sales during the same period.
Beyond its Latin Airplay coronation, “Razón” also pushes up Regional Mexican Airplay, climbing 39-23. The song earned Karol a first entry there when it debuted at No. 39 (Sept. 30-dated list).

Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey capture their fourth champ on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with “No Se Vale.” The group’s latest single rises 3-1 to lead the chart dated Sept. 16.
“No Se Vale” crowns Regional Mexican Airplay in its 10th week with 6.37 million audience impressions. That’s less than a 1% gain from the week prior, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 7, according to Luminate.
“No Se Vale” gives Edwin Luna and La Trakalosa their fourth No. 1 and first in almost two years, after the two-week coronation of “Saludos a Mi Ex” in March 2021. The group achieved its first Regional Mexican Airplay ruler through “Dormida” which dominated for three weeks in 2020. In total, Luna and La Trakalosa have placed nine top 10 entries dating back to 2017 when “Aplauso” reached its No. 4 high.
Beyond the new Regional Mexican Airplay No. 1, “No Se Vale” holds at No. 10 (its peak) on the overall Latin Airplay chart for a second week.

Mora’s Fourth Straight Top 10: Over on Top Latin Albums, Mora picks up his fourth straight top 10 with his fourth album, Estrella. The 15-track set, released via Rimas Entertainment on Aug. 28, advances 12-8 with 9,000 equivalent album units, up 19%, earned in the U.S. during the Sept. 1-7 tracking week.
As with most Latin rhythmic efforts, the bulk of Estrella’s activity comes from streaming equivalent album units. That figure equals to 12.2. million official U.S. on-demand streams of the album’s songs. Album sales and track-equivalent album units, meanwhile, account for the negligible remaining units.
Estrella follows three other top 10s, two No. 4-peaking sets which landed in 2022: While Microdosis endured for 33 weeks, Paraiso’s run completed after six weeks on Top Latin Albums.
Elsewhere, Estrella jumps 6-4 for a new peak on Latin Rhythm Albums. It also debuts at No. 167 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
As Estrella arrives, two songs debut on the Global charts. On Billboard Global 200, “Reina,” with Saiko, debuts at No. 149 after drawing 15.18 million global streams, while “Dónde Se Aprende a Querer” starts at No. 156 with 14.4 million worldwide streams. The former concurrently logged 13.7 international streams with a No. 87 start on Global Excl. U.S., while the latter launched at No. 99 with 12.62 streams outside the U.S.
