While many of her counterparts talk a good game Sexyy Red is really here for the smoke. She and her crew got into a massive brawl at an airport.
The St. Louis, Missouri, native was caught on video in a wild fight with multiple individuals. On Saturday, June 8, she and her entourage were at Newark Liberty International Airport in the early morning hours. Around 1:20 a.m. they got into it with another group at Terminal C, gate 82. Things escalated very quickly to the point where the “Skee Yee” rapper picked up a stanchion and started using it as a weapon. Soon after a man can be seen pulling her away from the action, but it seems she stayed active in the melee off camera.
The Port Authority has since issued a statement to XXL regarding the incident and have confirmed multiple arrests including Sexyy Red, born Janae Nierah Wherry. “Two victims were found to have lacerations to their heads,” reads the statment. “The two males accompanying Ms. Wherry, Leslie Baptiste and Carl Thompson, were arrested for assault, and Ms. Wherry was arrested for disorderly conduct. The male victims were transported to University Hospital with minor injuries.”
It is reported that Sexyy Red was released the following day. She acknowledged the detainment on social media when she was hanging with Kodak Black shortly after saying, “I just got out, good morning.” The “Pound Town” performer would also offer to replace a missing phone. “To the people that was in that altercation at the airport please dm me so I can replace yo phone !!” she wrote on Instagram.

Jim Jones was recently involved in an airport brawl with two men in a wild scene that saw the men tumbling down an escalator before the authorities intervened. According to new reports, Jim Jones will not face charges as it was determined he was acting in self-defense.
As reported by TMZ, Jim Jones was traveling first class to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and upon landing attempted to retrieve his bags from an overhead compartment, which angered a fellow passenger. Jones sternly warned the man after he bumped him and reportedly grabbed his arm while another man began yelling at him.
Deputies were called to the plane but the men exited without moving forward with charges while heading to baggage claim. It was there when one of the men physically approached Jones with the other man from the plane incident joining in. Jones picked one man up and slammed him while another kept hitting Jones from behind. Officers quickly swarmed to the scene and broke the fight up with one of the men looking worse for wear.
Surveillance video of the brawl backed the claims Jones made that he didn’t start the brawl. The Harlem rapper and businessman told TMZ Hip Hop, “I was minding my business and defended myself. They got what they were looking for.”
They most certainly did.

Another day, another passenger acting the hell up on an airplane.
As seen on the New York Post’s website, a woman had to be dragged off an airplane by four cops by her limbs after threatening physical harm to another passenger and trying to bite a police officer.
Simone Bryna Kim, 24, of Killeen, Texas, was caught in 4K acting a damn fool on a Frontier Airlines flight heading to Philadelphia on Tuesday while it was still on the tarmac at Miami International.
“During the boarding process for Flight 2326 from Miami to Philadelphia, two customers got into a verbal altercation which resulted in one of the customers being asked to deplane. Upon her refusal, assistance was requested from local law enforcement. We defer to the Miami-Dade Police Department for additional information,” a statement from Frontier Airlines read.
Per The New York Post:
“I’ll beat you the f–k up. What you trying to be on,” Kim yelled at a male passenger. “I’m going to rock your s**t.”
“‘If you’re real, show me what’s up. I’m going to beat you the f–k up on this s–t, I guarantee you, I guarantee you,’ she continued.
“You’re not even from Philly,” she said to the man at one point, as a woman tried to intervene.
Kim could then be seen refusing to leave the plane after a crew member tried to defuse the situation, with police later called in to remove her.
When law enforcement showed up to diffuse the situation, Kim began to “struggle, pushing and pulling” as Miami-Dade Police tried to arrest her.
Local 10 News reports that Kim scratched one officer and tried to bite and kick another, knocking an officer down during the entire ordeal.
A passenger got footage of Kim being carried away by a group of officers through the plane window like a “rag doll” while attempting to put her in the back of a police cruiser.
Kim Is Looking At A Bevy of Charges For Her Unruly Behavior
According to Miami cops, Kim is facing two charges of battery on a police officer and one charge of resisting an officer with violence. Both are felonies.
She is also looking at three misdemeanor counts of assault on an officer and a trespassing charge and is currently out of jail after posting bond.
It sounds like she needs to be on the no-fly list as well.
