Police in a Cleveland suburb are on the lookout for a man who aimed his gun at a Burger King employee for reasons that landed this report in the #BRUHNews mix.  The Burger King worker says the man was upset over the price of his meal being lower than he expected.
Cleveland area news outlet WOIO reports that the incident at Burger King took place on the morning of this past Easter Sunday in the town of Willowick. The outlet obtained footage of the moment via a surveillance camera this past Monday (April 1). Howard Vernon, 38, explained to WOIO what led to the violent exchange.

“To know that somebody would do something like that just because I’m trying to give you a better deal and it flip out like that, it is scary,” Vernon said to WOIO. ‘I was taking this guy’s order and he ordered two sausage egg and cheese croissants and a sausage biscuit and hashbrowns and the order came out to $8 and he was like my order can’t be right it should be like $11 and I’m like trying to explain to him that we had a promotion going on and like it’s cheaper and he started cussing and getting all loud and I was like I don’t know what to tell you I don’t know why you want to pay more money.”
The man drove off and then returned to the drive-through window and aimed his firearm at Vernon while using a racial slur. Vernon stood defiant and wasn’t moved by the man’s aggressive tactics.
“The whole time I was just like if you gonna do it do it, I’m not about to run,” Vernon said. “You don’t scare me or anything like that just do what you gotta do and he just kept blurting out racial slurs and it’s crazy cause there was an older woman like his gun was on top of this older woman’s car he could’ve gave her a heart attack like anything you know.”
Thank goodness the employee wasn’t harmed and with the video footage, it hopefully won’t be long before the angry big spender is taken off the streets.

For years the general public have been calling for police reform as we’ve become all too familiar with police officers that walk around with itchy trigger fingers and practice very flawed judgement out on these streets, and it seems like a police deputy in Florida (of course) has made the case stronger for such an initiative.

According to TMZ, Okaloosa County deputy Jesse Hernandez might’ve found himself becoming the butt of many jokes back at his station after his body cam recorded him letting off a clip on his own patrol car after he thought a perp they had handcuffed in the back of the vehicle had somehow let off a shot towards them. He did not. What actually hit the car was Mother Nature as she viciously dropped an acorn on the patrol car which prompted Hernandez to overreact and begin shooting at his car.

Even Hernandez’ partner was confused as to what was happening but joined in on the “shootout” and miraculously didn’t harm the suspect, 22-year-old Marquis Jackson, who they thought shot at them from the backseat.
This was straight out of a Police Academy movie, man.
TMZ reports:
Over the course of the investigation … Hernandez was made aware that what he thought he heard was literally just an acorn falling on his car’s hood. Hernandez ended up resigning in the aftermath of all this … and was not criminally charged.
From what we can tell, Jackson hasn’t sued, yet, but has told local media outlets he was “damaged” from what he went through.
Once the dust settled, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said this … “We are very thankful Mr. Jackson wasn’t injured and we have no reason to think former Deputy Hernandez acted with any malice. We are limited in further response due to pending litigation. But let this be clear, we understand this situation was traumatic for Mr. Jackson and all involved and have incorporated this officer-involved shooting into our training to try to ensure nothing similar happens again.
“They finished with … “Though his actions were ultimately not warranted, we do believe he felt his life was in immediate peril and his response was based off the totality of circumstances surrounding this fear.”
After investigating the matter, Okaloosa officials felt Hernandez’s use of deadly force wasn’t reasonable but gave his partner a pass as he was just following his lead in the incident.
Don’t be surprised if Jackson decides to sue the heck out of them for damn near taking his life over an acorn.

It is clear the design team at Balenciaga has an interesting sense of humor. The brand is selling a $925 towel disguised as a skirt.

As spotted on TMZ, the luxury label has made the news again for their very polarizing creations. This week, the company unveiled their “Towel Skirt In Beige.” It features a two-button closure at the waistline, an adjustable belt and is knee length. As the name reads, this piece looks just like your standard bath towel but is billed as being made of 100% terry cotton and “is from look 30 of Balenciaga’s Spring 24 Collection.” As expected, we get some subtle branding with their signature logo at the front.

The apparel item was instantly met was some very strong reactions, specifically individuals calling out how laughable this item is. “Balenciaga towel skirt is selling for $920 is crazy cuz I can achieve this same look with my $5 towel from target,” one Instagram user wrote. Another wrote, “Balenciaga’s creative director prob gets high and comes up with these products as jokes.” As expected, the towel quickly went viral and even IKEA UK got in on the fun. On Wednesday (Nov. 15), they launched their VINARN Towel Skirt, a “2024 Spring fashion essential.” Their piece sells for $17 dollars.

This is not the first time Balenciaga has faced ridicule due to their designs. In 2022, the brand released a set of of bags that resembled trash bags and a Lay’s Potato Chip bag. You can shop the Balenciaga Towel Skirt In Beige here.

In today’s episode of Now, Sis’, What Is You Doin’? a high school cafeteria worker in Louisiana has been arrested after being accused of selling cannabis edibles to students, which would indicate that she has taken the “high” part of “high school” far too literally. (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Please don’t block me.)

According to WAFB, 45-year-old Tymetrica Cohns was actually a temporary cafeteria worker at Jewel M. Sumner High School in Kentwood, Louisiana, before she was arrested Friday for allegedly selling homemade baked goods laced with cannabis to teenagers, which, you know, is like selling Scooby snacks to Scooby and Shaggy for the most part (I mean, it’s still wrong, but I’m jussayin’).

Tangipahoa Parish said they were notified about Cohns’ alleged extra-illegal-curricular activities through a Crime Stoppers app. In fact, apparently, it was a student who blew the whistle on the alleged operation, which, well, might have made them somewhat unpopular around the lunch table if anyone found out. (Again, jussayin’)
“I want to commend this student who saw something and used the app to bring this threat to the attention of our school officials and law enforcement,” Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Melissa Stilley said in a statement. She also explained that Cohns was a substitute worker hired by Education Staffing Solutions (ESS), a staffing service that places substitute employees in schools.
“The safety and well-being of our students are paramount,” Police Chief Jimmy Travis of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said. “We encourage using the P3 app to report anything they feel threatens their ability to learn in a safe environment.”
Yeah, man, you can’t, as a middle-aged adult especially, be out here selling weed to kids while they’re in their learning environment. Imagine adding 4/20-friendly pastries to a high school lunch menu. People are while, bruh.

Camila McMillie, a mom of two traveling out of Miami International Airport, was arrested after losing her children and having an outburst this week. In a now-viral video clip, McMillie was seen destroying equipment at the airport after she couldn’t locate her children and faces a number of charges.
As reported by the outlet Local 10, Camila McMillie, 25, was traveling to New York out of Miami on Tuesday (Dec. 20) and became irate with American Airlines workers after she couldn’t locate her children. According to reports, the children went to the bathroom without informing their mother, promoting her to request help from the staff. It isn’t known or wasn’t shared in the reporting if airline workers attempted to assist McMillie, but the moment sparked a violent fit of rage.
The video that surfaced online shows McMillie grabbing a computer monitor from a counter and throwing it at an airline employee, and snatching the digital boarding pass reader from its base. The video was obtained by the online account @OnlyInDade and is making its rounds on social media.
McMillie’s children, ages six and eight, were found to be unharmed. However, McMillie was detained by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer and arrested by local police.
Camila McMillie faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and more.
