Jim Jones was recently involved in an airport brawl with two men in a wild scene that saw the men tumbling down an escalator before the authorities intervened. According to new reports, Jim Jones will not face charges as it was determined he was acting in self-defense.
As reported by TMZ, Jim Jones was traveling first class to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and upon landing attempted to retrieve his bags from an overhead compartment, which angered a fellow passenger. Jones sternly warned the man after he bumped him and reportedly grabbed his arm while another man began yelling at him.

Deputies were called to the plane but the men exited without moving forward with charges while heading to baggage claim. It was there when one of the men physically approached Jones with the other man from the plane incident joining in. Jones picked one man up and slammed him while another kept hitting Jones from behind. Officers quickly swarmed to the scene and broke the fight up with one of the men looking worse for wear.
Surveillance video of the brawl backed the claims Jones made that he didn’t start the brawl. The Harlem rapper and businessman told TMZ Hip Hop, “I was minding my business and defended myself. They got what they were looking for.”
They most certainly did.

Cam Newton might not be slinging footballs on the gridiron these days but that doesn’t mean the 2015 NFL MVP hasn’t kept himself in good shape. A video surfaced of the free-agent quarterback getting into a bit of a brawl but what was most impressive is that his hat never left his head nor did he seem that bothered.
Cam Newtown, 34, was in Atlanta for a 7-on-7 football event over the weekend as reported by Deadline with the former Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots star in town with his C1N 7v7 squad. According to reports and accounts online, a group of individuals appear to shove the still-physically imposing Newton around. It hasn’t been confirmed but it appears the potential assailants were from Top Shelf Performance, a group that had teams playing in the inaugural We Ball Sports 7v7 tournament.
The video shows Newton, decked out in an elaborate hat, standing tall above the group as the fight moved from inside a pop-up tent to another area. Newtown and his hat held their own against the group before a security guard and other individuals came through and pushed the throng back as tempers settled.
Details are scant and Newton nor anyone from the We Ball Sports side has offered a public statement regarding the incident.
On X, formerly Twitter, the video of the incident has gone viral with many remarking on the sheer size of Cam Newton and noting with good humor that his hat was just as unbothered as he was. We’ve got the best of the reactions from X below.

The Riverfront Brawl in Montgomery, Ala. was one of the most explosive moments to unfold this year, spawning several memes as the news of the so-called “Fade In The Water” event rippled through social media. Two men involved in the Riverfront Brawl were recently sentenced and one man saw his charges dismissed as another individual will appear in court on Monday (December 11).
Local outlet WSFA reports that Zachary Shipman and Alan Todd appeared in Montgomery Municipal Court last Friday (December 8) and pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of harassment after initially being charged with third-degree assault. Shipman and Todd were given suspended sentences of 60 days and 12 months of probation. Shipmen will serve out his sentence in Dallas County while Todd will do so in Baldwin County according to WSFA’s reporting.

Dameion Pickett, a co-captain of the Riverboat, also appeared in court but his third-degree assault charge was dismissed and he supported the plea agreements made by Shipman and Todd. One other suspect, Reggie Ray, will appear in court Monday to learn what his sentence will be.
The Riverfront Brawl was sparked after the Riverboat was attempting to dock in its usual spot this past August when a private boat was in the way. A dock worker removed a rope that kept the private boat stationary, sparking its passengers to assault the dock worker. An employee of the Riverboat hopped into the water, swam over, and helped to defend the worker along with other observers.

The Montgomery Riverfront dustup continues to shake up social media and the headlines, and new developments have emerged. According to reports, arrests have been made by the Montgomery Police Department, with three men facing charges thus far.
Local outlet WVTM reports that three men, Richard Roberts, 48; Zachery Shipman, 25; and Allen Todd, 23, were sought by Montgomery police after warrants for their arrests were issued. The three men turned themselves, this after police took 13 people in total into custody.

As previously reported, last weekend, the Harriott 2 double-decker riverboat was attempting to dock on the riverfront when a pontoon boat carrying a number of guests docked out of turn. A Black dock worker removed the boat’s rope so that the Harriott 2 could dock, prompting the group of white boaters to confront the worker.
In a report from TMZ, the dock worker claims that one of the men used a racist slur ahead of their group attack before being met with another group of Black bystanders and one of the crew members of the riverboat. Since then, the incident has sparked a number of memes and reactions across social media and has become its own entity of sorts.
Police say they are also looking for Reggie Gray, 42, who was seen throwing around a chair against the boaters.
Among the arrested, Roberts is charged with two counts of third-degree assault. Shipman and Todd both face one count of third-degree assault.

Montgomery, the state capital of Alabama, is known for its place in the fight for civil rights along with a number of notable establishments treasured by the culture. Now, “The Gump” is also known as the site of a brawl that had Black folks forming like Voltron to protect a security guard against a crowd of angry white boaters.
By now, much of the details of the Montgomery Riverfront brawl are out there but we’ll share a brief recap as seen in NPR and across social media.
This past Saturday (August 5), a scene unfolded on the Riverfront during the afternoon after a pontoon boat full of revelers decided to ignore the orders of a Black dock worker and angrily beat the man. However, the fight turned fair rather quickly as others rushed to aid the dock worker with very explosive results that we’ll share below.
Josh Moon, who works for the Alabama Political Reporter, posted a video of the brawl on X (formerly known as Twitter). From what details we have available, the pontoon boat tried to dock in the space of the Harriott II double-decker riverboat. The Black dock worker, doing his job, undocked the pontoon boat, sparking some of the guests to approach him. The mob of angry boaters began beating the man but one young man stood out above all.
Dubbed “AquaMane, ‘Ja’Michael Phelps,” and other choice nicknames, the teen crew worker only known by his first name, Aaren, swam from another boat to aid the dock worker and despite having swam a great length, still had time to dole out body slams and fades in defense of the worker.
Reports say that Montgomery police had arrest warrants out for some of the boaters who started the brawl. We’ll add details as they came on on that front.
In the spirit of old Black Twitter, X has done an excellent job of recapping, sharing jokes, memes, and everything else you can imagine regarding the Montgomery Riverfront showdown.

Joseline Hernandez knows a thing or two about drama as fans have seen since her years on the Love & Hip Hop franchise and her reality series, Joseline’s Cabaret. The “Puerto Rican Princess” is back in headlines again after reports that she and former Joseline’s Cabaret star Big Lex were involved in a backstage altercation after Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III’s fight, which erupted into a brawl as well.
Joseline Hernandez, 36, was captured on camera phone video walking backstage at the FLA Live Arena over the weekend. After the Mayweather-Gotti fight erupted into a brawl when the grandson of the famed Italian mobster was disqualified in the 6th round and continued to try and hit the former champion. This came after it was waved off by the referee. Mayweather’s team came to stop Gotti’s advances, which was largely ineffective, and things got heated naturally.
What sparked Hernandez to dish out the taper and fade on Big Lex has plenty of moving parts, and it took a group of people to separate the two but not before Big Lex was pulled out of her top. Big Lex was largely bested by Hernandez, and another man, reportedly Hernandez’s husband, was involved in the fracas. Even after they were split, Hernandez continued swinging at anyone in the vicinity and eventually had a drink flung at her which only egged the situation on further.
Fans on Twitter, which is where we gathered much of this information thus far, shared clips of Big Lex in previous times having some choice words for Hernandez. Big Lex also reportedly dissed the Zeus Network and anyone affiliated with the outfit.
In a new TMZ report, it revealed that Hernandez was arrested and booked on four charges.
On Twitter, folks have plenty to say about Joseline Hernandez putting the beats on Big Lex and anyone else who wanted. We’ve got those reactions below.

Only at Waffle House can customers get a side of hands and feet with their grits, cheese eggs, bacon, and waffles.
*Trigger Warning, this story will contain written and visual references to a fight.*
The famed down south 24-hour breakfast hot spot is usually the go-to destination after the club lets out or whatever late-night activities are wrapped up.
The food should be the main topic of discussion with any food establishment, but with Waffle House, the brawls always seem to be on the menu.
Recently a video of a brawl going down in the establishment between customers and Waffle House employees has gone viral on Twitter.
Most believe it was recent, but the person who kindly deposited it on Elon Musk’s Twitter, @rbaylor_74, says he was holding onto it for a year.
Also, many people think the Waffle House brawl went down at a Georgia location on Christmas Day. It was in Texas, and one thing, in particular, has caught Twitter users’ attention.

In the video, a white employee is all the talk because she wanted all the smoke and wasn’t even fazed when a customer chucked a chair at her.

Dine at Waffle House at your discretion. Unfortunately, we expect to see more of these incidents at other locations in the future.
You can peep more reactions to the brawl video in the gallery below.
