Diddy’s Miami & Los Angeles Homes Reportedly Raided by Federal Agents

A pair of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami were reportedly raided by law enforcement on Monday (March 25).

Fox 11 reports that the raids were executed by Homeland Security “in connection” with an ongoing federal sex trafficking investigation.

Helicopters scoped out the chaotic scene in Holmby Hills. Fox added that the property was registered to Bad Boy Films under Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment entity along with one of the embattled mogul’s daughters.

With officers swarming the Los Angeles property, video footage appeared to show individuals being detained, two of whom appeared to be Diddy’s sons King Combs and Justin Combs. It’s unknown whether Diddy was at either home during the raids.

TMZ reported on Monday that Homeland Security of New York launched the investigation and the Southern District of New York is handling the case linked to Diddy.

Billboard has reached out to Diddy’s reps for comment as well as the Los Angeles and Miami police departments.

Diddy has been the subject of numerous sexual assault-related civil lawsuits. Ex-girlfriend Cassie lit the fuse in November 2023 with a lawsuit accusing Diddy of physical abuse, repeated sexual assault and trafficking while they were dating. The two parties agreed to settle the lawsuit less than 24 hours later.

Soon after, Combs was then sued by two other women who claimed they were sexually abused by the hip-hop mogul.

On Dec. 6, a fourth woman sued Diddy, claiming she was “sex trafficked” and “gang raped” by Combs, former Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre and another man in 2003 when she was 17 years old.

In the months since, Diddy has been accused of sexual assault in several sprawling complaints. The Bad Boy CEO has denied any wrongdoing and attempted to clear his name with a December post to social media.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” he wrote. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

A lawyer for Diddy vehemently denied the allegations against his client and referred to the accusations as “pure fiction.”

Colin Farrell Shines In New Teaser Trailer For ‘The Penguin’

Last year, it was announced that HBO Max would be giving Matt Reeves’, The Batman, a spinoff series starring one of the films villains, The Penguin (Colin Farrell). In the new teaser trailer for the upcoming series, we can see why that was a smart bet.

The Penguin

Source: Macall Polay / Max

Taking place right after the events of the 2022 Batman film, The Penguin follows the classic Batman foe as he rises to power in the criminal underworld of Gotham City. Coming off as a Tony Soprano type of mobster, the charismatic crime lord talks about an “old-school” gangster who was seemingly beloved by his neighborhood. Hoping to achieve such a reputation for himself, the teaser trailer features cut scenes in which The Penguin not only unleashes violence on the streets of Gotham but also finds himself at the mercy of potential rivals in the underbelly of the city that Batman protects.

Though we don’t know if Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight will be featured in the series or have any kind of cameo, we wouldn’t be disappointed if he didn’t as Colin Farrell’s iteration of Oswald Cobblepot seems intense enough to carry this show all by himself. A Batman cameo wouldn’t hurt anybody though.

Check out the trailer to The Penguin, and let us know if you’ll be checking for it when it hits HBO Max this fall in the comments section below.

Watch ‘Bachelor’ Star Juan Pablo Cheer On Teen Daughter as She Auditions for ‘American Idol’

The ABC family just keeps getting bigger.

When 14-year-old Camila Galavis stepped in to audition for American Idol on Sunday’s (March 24) episode, judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie were shocked to discover that her dad is none other than Juan Pablo Galavis, the onetime star of another long-running show under the singing competition series’ network: The Bachelor.

Camila Galavis didn’t tell the panel at first that she is already reality TV royalty, having been just 4 years old when her dad’s season of The Bachelor aired in 2014. But while answering questions about her family from the “Firework” singer, the young singer eventually broke the news that her father was not only an ex-dating show heartthrob, but was in the American Idol building with her.

At that, the group called Juan Pablo into the room, where he confirmed that coming on the competition series was 100% Camila’s idea. “She’s been singing since she was little, and the opportunity came, and she wanted to do it,” he told the judges. “I said, ‘I don’t know if you’re old enough.’ That was last year. ‘Well, maybe next year.’ And then here she is.”

Trending on Billboard

After confessing that she would actually feel more comfortable with her dad in the room during her audition, the Venezuela native went on to sing an all-Spanish rendition of Joaquina‘s “Rabia” as Juan Pablo watched proudly from the sidelines, seated next to the in-house pianist on his bench.

Though it was a close call, Galavis was able to pass through into the next round with Perry and Bryan’s “Yes” votes outweighing Richie’s “No.”

“Love your confidence,” the country crooner told her after her performance. “Love your personality … I think the right producer could take your voice and cut a hit album on you right now.”

Venezuelan singer/songwriter Joaquina responded to the performance of her song on Instagram, re-posting the audition and writing, “Oh my God, this can’t be. [Camila] how beautiful. Wow never in my life did I think someone would sing one of my songs on American Idol, how crazy. [Juan Pablo] I love you guys so much. Congrats. God bless you on the journey of this show. I hope all your dreams come true.”

Sean Diddy Combs Homes In NY, LA & Miami Raided By Homeland Security, Xitter Reacts

The Feds have reportedly raided multiple homes of Sean “Diddy” Combs. The Bad Boy Records founder’s homes in New York City, Los Angeles and Miami were all seemingly raided simultaneously.

TMZ initially reported that law enforcement rolled up into Diddy’s Beverly Hills home. FOX 11 Los Angeles noted that the raid was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security.

Allegedly the raids are in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation. That would explain the reasoning behind an execution of warrants across multiple states at the same time.

Footage of authorities holding rifles and taking people who were in the homes into custody have started making the social media rounds.

Unsubstantiated word is that King Combs and Justin Combs were detained.

Reports SkyFOX:

SkyFOX flew over Combs’ home Monday afternoon and showed federal agents conducting their investigation at his home.

FOX 11’s ground crew at the scene said the home was registered to Bad Boys Films, which is a division of Bad Boy Entertainment, along with one of Combs’ daughters.

SkyFOX also captured images of a few people coming out of the home who were subsequently detained.

Per Homeland Security, “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

Kendrick Lamar set the internet on fire with his “Like That” verse, seemingly calling out Drake, J. Cole, Future, and Metro Boomin’s new project, WE DON’T TRUST YOU. The Canadian rapper has responded, and Hip-Hop fans are giving him the side-eye.

GET IN THE BOOTH!

That’s what users on X, formerly Twitter, are screaming at Drake after allegedly addressing Lamar’s scathing bars.

Spotted on HipHopDX, the “Nice For What” didn’t clap back with bars but with a defiant and inspirational message during his most recent performance during his second performance of two shows during his stop at Sunrise, Florida, on his Big As the What? Tour on Sunday (March 24),

Per HipHopDX:

Drizzy delivered a message of defiance to the audience: “A lot of people ask me how I’m feeling… I’m a let you know I’m feeling. Listen, the same way I’m feeling is the same way I want you to walk out this building tonight.”

“I got my fucking head up high, my back straight, I’m 10 fucking toes down in Florida and anywhere else I go,” he added, his voice growing louder and more aggressive. “And I know that no matter what, there’s not a n-gga on this Earth that could ever fuck with me in my life!”

His response follows Lamar saying with all of his chest on “Like That” that he’s best out of the “big three.” On the song he rapped:

Okay, let’s get it up, it’s time for him to prove that he’s a problem/N*ggas clickin’ up, but cannot be legit, no 40 Water, tell’ em/Ah, yeah, huh, yeah, get up with me/F*ck sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches/I crash out, like, “F*ck rap,” diss Melle Mel if I had to.”

Hip-Hop Fans Want Drake To Find A Booth

The audience at his show felt what Drake said, but fans on X, formerly Twitter, are screaming at Drake to get in the booth to address Kendrick Lamar.

Drake had two diss tracks Ina weekend for Meek but Kendrick Lamar got him doing self affirmations on the stage Cmon man,” one X user wrote.

Another user wrote, “Whenever Drake beefs with men, he becomes the world’s most polite Canadian.”

Lol, bruh.

Future, Metro Boomin & The Weeknd Are War-Ready in Militant ‘Young Metro’ Video: Watch

Future and Metro Boomin are keeping the momentum rolling with their We Don’t Trust You joint album. The Atlanta duo recruited The Weeknd to deliver the militant music video to their “Young Metro” standout collab.

Directed by Hidji World and Omar Jones, the clip arrived Monday (March 25), and the trio is ready for war while holding down their concrete bunker.

Only those trusted are allowed access into the fort and Future made sure to bring a few beautiful women with him. One of the girls gets in her gymnastics bag while another develops superhuman strength to bench press Metro’s armored Tesla Cybertrunk.

“I got these regular h–s, I got superstar h–s takin’ pictures of me like the feds/ Check out my video, lil’ bitch, that’s silly, h-e/ Got me with a mill’ in jewelry in the bed,” Pluto raps.

The Weeknd gets the call to show up mid-way to accompany his ominous croon on “Young Metro.” Rocking all-black and a bandana to cover his nose and mouth, Abel displays the same vexed anger as his controversial Tedros character from HBO’s The Idol, which had the plug pulled after one season.

The crew adds Don Toliver and they congregate for another meeting deep into the night to plan an attack before the clip comes to a close.

We Don’t Trust You arrived on Friday (March 22) to much fanfare thanks in part to a nuclear assist from Kendrick Lamar on project standout “Like That.” Expect “Young Metro” to be among the tracks from the album invading the Billboard Hot 100 next week.

NCT DREAM Open Up on Maturing & Taking More Creative Control in Group’s ‘New Chapter’

From NCT DREAM‘s delicious debut with “Chewing Gum” in 2016 to later devouring the charts with hits like “Hot Sauce” and “Candy,” the boy band’s taste for snackable singles takes a different and darker turn with “Smoothie,” the lead single off their just-released Dream( )scape EP, that speaks to the group’s hope of using music for fans to “escape their fears and negativity.”

“Our producers and label were like, ‘Is there something that you guys want to say in particular?’” group leader MARK explains to Billboard days before the album drop. “RENJUN was actually thinking, ‘Musically and visually, we’ve always been so bright and very optimistic, but I think we can kind of express how it’s still NCT DREAM and sometimes we can also have bad dreams.”

Trending on Billboard

Represented through the intense five-part ( )SCAPE Film on YouTube and their most experimental mini album, NCT DREAM tweaked their signature style for tracks that recognize hardship and offer an empowering, encouraging message. MARK opens intro track “icantfeelanything” announcing, “I might’ve been afraid to be brave,” followed by CHENLE crooning, “‘Cause I’m lost and confused” before an intense breakbeat switches into a chant of frustrated yells.

The septet tackles anxiety on the pacifying R&B of “UNKNOWN” (Encouraging the listener to slowly but surely “Go chase your dreams/ Dive in, dive in, into the unknown”) as they yearn for freedom on hip-hop/pop cut “BOX” (“I don’t need controllin’, Let me go/Nobody lockin’ me up, nobody stoppin’ me”). The hook-heavy single “Smoothie” flips the group’s tried-and-true foodie styling by inspiring the audience to share their worries with NCT DREAM so they can blend it into a healing formula: “Throw in that doubt and fake, pour in all that pain / Shower that in all this ice, eventually it all melts.”

Pronounced as “Dream Escape,” the tight, six-track makeup of Dream( )scape offers fans not only an uplifting getaway of a listening experience but crucially lets them in a bit closer to a group that all debuted as teenagers and is becoming a team of wise young adults. The messages should connect well with audiences worldwide as NCT DREAM’s Dream Show 3: Dream( )scape world tour begins in May with plans to visit Latin America, the U.S., and Europe before the year’s end.

Before then, read more from MARK, RENJUN, CHENLEJENOJAEMINHAECHAN and JISUNG on creating their latest album, upcoming world tour and more.

Congratulations on the new album. From the teasers to the music itself, NCT DREAM shares a lot through Dream( )scape. Overall, what are you looking to show in this album?

RENJUN: As expressed through the ( )SCAPE Film trailers, although we have all different jobs and are in different locations, we experience the same external stress and, through those processes, we almost feel like we are liberated. And also the title song itself, you can see that it’s titled “Smoothie,” but it means that we will grind all these bad ingredients and mix them up [into something positive].”

MARK: I think we’ve really grown as people, and as artists, and that definitely reflects the way we make our albums now because I think this album might actually have the most of our identities and our personal colors in it. We were very involved in the process from the very start and we really got to put in the message that we’ve always wanted to deliver to our audiences. This album, in particular, really kind of showcases who we are the most out of all the other albums in terms of that we were very much looking forward to how our fans would respond to that. [Dream( )scape] revolved around our ideas, and we were involved with how we wanted this whole message shared, so it made us feel like, “Okay, we need to take more responsibility for this album.”

JENO: This album is the starting point of this year in our new chapter so I think we now want to focus more on that stories that lie within.

What message did you all want to share? MARK opens the album by saying, “I might’ve been afraid to be brave,” and the idea of is mentioned a few times in the record. What’s the significance of bravery here?

RENJUN: It’s always hard to start something and take that first step. Actually, it’s very difficult to be brave and requires a lot of courage. And with this album, we wanted to help others at their own starting line to be brave by themselves.

MARK: Our producers and label were like, “Is there something that you guys want to say in particular for this album?” So, we were thinking among our members but RENJUN was actually thinking, “Musically and visually, we’ve always been so bright and very optimistic, but I think we can kind of express how it’s still NCT DREAM and sometimes we can also have bad dreams as well, you know?” Even though we are going for our dreams, there are hardships that we face in reality. Our hope is to let our audiences escape their fears and negativity; we really want to encourage that. That kind of formed the title of our album as well, which is Dream( )scape.

And I wanted to clarify because I feel like a lot of people would pronounce it as “Dreamscape,” but it’s “Dream Escape.” They took the “e” out because the parentheses are supposed to symbolize a gate, you know? We have to call it “Dream Escape,” I guess — the “e” escaped.

JENO: We express our growth through our music. Since we debuted at such a young age, I think we still have things to figure out from the younger image that our group holds. So, with that in mind, when we were producing this album, we tried to escape from that image that we had.

It felt like Dream( )scape was viral the moment you unveiled these dark teasers that we haven’t seen from NCT DREAM—I thought the bruised and bloody feet were very striking. Can you explain them and your take on the reactions?

RENJUN: The initial teasers meant that the clothes on top are very neat and sleek, but you also see these wounded feet from the members. This signifies that, in real life, everyone seems to be comfortable and put together, but we have hidden feelings inside and wounds in our hearts—and that’s normal. We’re trying to express that going through struggles and pain eventually leads to an escape.

JENO: As you can see in the ( )SCAPE Film, we are locked in our own rooms to show each of the member’s own dreams and identities in this suppressed reality. Eventually, we get to escape after the seven of us gather up, and that’s the storyline that we focused on when we were filming.

MARK: It was really fun seeing how after every photo got released, the fans were like, “Oh, what does this mean? What does this symbolize? I think there’s a story behind all this.” I really liked to see how they were very attentive to each and every detail of the photo, and sometimes even, we were surprised by how they interpreted some parts of a photo or video — their trying to detect what it all meant before everything was released was one of the things that we really liked about this promotion.

Not to pry, but that’s a great message that I imagine many artists relate to. Is there anything you dealt with where things looked good on the outside, but something else was going on inside?

RENJUN: I think everyone has pain and scars from their lives that they don’t want to show until they’re ready. So, maybe talking to people [about this subject] could make others comfortable to want to reveal their pains.

JENO: To continue that, I think the rooms that I described earlier really relate to this album, and that’s where the story and concept came from.

MARK: I think there are a lot of times where I feel very hungry on set, but I just can’t show that to the people because I feel like that might be delaying the whole schedule, you know? Very painful…

RENJUN: He’s joking! He’s always kidding.

MARK: I mean, there’s a seed of truth. [Group laughs.] But don’t worry too much.

Why was “Smoothie” the right song to choose the single for this important album?

MARK: So, it was really hard choosing the title track because we had a lot of meetings and heard a lot of different options of songs for the title track [single], but we eventually chose “Smoothie” because one of the main goals we had for this comeback was to come up with a song that had the easiest hook but still had an impact. In a way, we could have chosen a more complex song, but we wanted to really narrow it down to the simplest type of hook that anyone can kind of catch on, even from the first listen, and I remember how we agreed that “Smoothie” would be the one because of that reason specifically.

JAEMIN: There are a lot of ingredients from which you make a “Smoothie” pictured in the music video, and what we wanted to express was cutting through all these bad ingredients to viewers — that’s the plot point that you might want to look forward to the most when watching.

One of my favorite tracks from your LP last year, ISTJ: The 3rd Album, was “Yogurt Shake,” and I wondered if “Smoothie” was related to it.

MARK: That’s also one thing we wanted to say! We have a lot of songs that relate to food or something you can eat, which is why we wanted to have the “Dirty Smoothie” as the title because we didn’t want it to sound too common or something that people can expect right away.

Looking at some of the other Dream( )scape tracks you were involved in, I love the lyrics in “BOX,” which MARK co-wrote. Did this come from a personal place or do you ever feel NCT DREAM is put into a box?

RENJUN: We wanted to more so summarize a universal feeling because I think everyone, whether it’s at home or work, I think everyone has felt that kind of feeling of being put in a box so wanting to explore and feel free.

MARK: I relate to what RENJUN said because, whether we are or aren’t aware of it, we all have our own boxes internally as well. I realized that this song’s theme and energy really fit the album’s concept — we can’t be trapped in your frame or opinions anymore. If you were to put that as a “BOX,” this song helps us come out of that and I just wanted to put that energy into the verses that I wrote.

MARK and JENO took part in “UNKNOWN,” which I found comforting and I think fans will too.

MARK: Just from the word, “unknown,” I think a lot of people can relate to being afraid when it’s something that you’re not familiar with — even though they know that they have to take that step. We use the analogy of a body of water as something being “UNKNOWN” so you can dive into the unknown by taking a leap of faith. When me and JENO were writing, we really wanted to express how we know that we want to take that dive so let’s just take the leap of fate together — because it’s always better to do something with someone you trust rather than do it alone.

The album closes with “Breathing,” co-written by MARK, JENO, JAEMIN and JISUNG.

JENO: When I was making the rap, the song content itself is very dark and restrictive, feeling like your breath is running out — that is, until I met you and that became the cure. So, that’s the theme that we set from the start.

RENJUN: The first part of the song starts with “Where I am” and the last part ends with “Here I am.” When we were recording, we put our emotions and struggles into this idea of feeling lost, but when we were getting close to the end, we felt like, “Oh, I am here and I am determined.”

You’ll soon take these songs on stage with your Dream Show 3: Dream( )scape world tour. How are the preparations going?

JISUNG: I think it’s going to be a better concert than The Dream Show 2. We’re still working on it, but we set Dream( )scape as the direction and focus on The Dream Show 3 tour. It’ll be a very different concert because we’re now more experienced, we have new songs and I think we can put out more diverse and improved sides of ourselves.

JENO: This year, fans can look forward to a show where each section has its own strong, independent color and various charms in each section — that’s the key point.

RENJUN: It’s almost like riding a rollercoaster because our emotions throughout the sections have a dynamic to it. So, fans can also ride the ups and downs with us.

What else do fans need to know right now?

CHENLE: We worked really hard on this album, so I hope you guys look forward to it from the trailer to the stages we’re going to perform when we have the album out. Drake seems to address Kendrick Lamar, continuing the long-standing feud.

Drake:
There’s not a n—a on this earth that could ever f–k with me in my life.

Tetris Kelly:
Drake had this to say at is recent concert, and the internet is assuming he’s talking about Kendrick Lamar in the viral video.

Tetris Kelly:
On Friday, Kendrick called out Drake and J. Cole on Future and Metro Boomin ‘s new track “Like That.”

That’s Kendrick Lamar addressing Drake and J. Cole song “First Person Shooter,” where J. Cole tried to claim the three rappers are the best in the game, but this beef is over a decade old. Back in 2013 Kendrick had this to say on Big Sean’s “Control.”

Back then Drake told Billboard, “It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me. That’s all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick’s not murdering me at all in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.”

Well, it looks like we’ve come full circle, Drake.

Drake:
There’s not a n—a on this earth that could ever f–k with me in my life.
