With Diddy’s reputation in ruin and his freedom seemingly in jeopardy, the man is at the very least looking to secure his financial situation. It seems hr has taken steps to ensure his bank account remains healthy (for now).

According to TMZ, the man who’s currently being referred to as “The Diddler” in certain social media circles has decided to sell off all of his shares of Revolt TV and is no longer associated with the company in any way, shape or form. The move comes after the Department Of Homeland Security raided his homes following accusations of sex trafficking, which spurred Diddy to hop on the first flight out to an undisclosed location.

While the buyer of Diddy’s shares of Revolt TV wishes to remain anonymous for now, what we are told is that the network will remain Black-owned. No number was placed on the price said owner paid to own Diddy’s piece of the pie (no Diddy).

Per TMZ:

As you know, Diddy has been inactive with the network since stepping down as Chairman last November … and his last order of business was being notified of the sale, which we’re told just went through this week. We’re told it was an amicable deal, and everyone’s happy.

Per our sources, Revolt’s CEO Detavio Samuels and Chief Brand Officer Deon Graham will remain in their current positions and assist the owner while the ink dries on the contract. Another thing … we’re told there’ll be no major changes to staffing or production for Revolt TV employees.

Our sources say that, over time, the new owner will implement their vision … but that for the time being, things will mostly remain the same as the transition occurs.

Though the new owner doesn’t want to reveal who they may be as of yet, they do plan on having a formal introduction sometime in the near future.

Watch it be Tyler Perry or someone like that.

While many assume that the move was made due to Diddy’s latest legal setback, word is that the selling of his shares was in motion well before authorities moved in on the Bad Boy HNIC and that the timing of everything is just a coincidence. Do with that information what you will.

As for when we’ll be hearing from Diddy himself regarding all these matters, well, that’s anyone’s guess at this point. But we doubt that will be happening anytime soon. But his lawyers are calling this all a “witch hunt.”

What do y’all think of this entire situation? Let us know in the comments section below.

Sabrina Carpenter Opens Up About Learning From Taylor Swift & Dating Amid Barry Keoghan Romance

Sabrina Carpenter had a lot to discuss in her new Cosmopolitan digital cover story, from traveling the world with Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour to how she approaches dating (ahem, Barry Keoghan).

While reflecting on opening for the “Anti-Hero” singer on the superstar’s global Eras trek’s Latin America, Australia and Singapore legs, the Girl Meets World alum said she feels “so genuinely lucky.” “I get to perform a set that I’m super comfortable with, and then I get to watch one of the greatest performers every night,” she continued.

“It almost feels like a Broadway show because everything is so synchronized, but at the same time feels so in the moment,” Carpenter added. “That’s an art. It’s really hard to teach. It’s really hard to learn. And I feel so lucky that I get to watch Taylor perform every time. It makes me want to tour the world again, which is a good feeling.”

Trending on Billboard

The “Feather” singer’s Eras stint followed her own headlining tour for Emails I Can’t Send, Carpenter’s fourth studio album, which debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 in July 2022. Swift’s trek has made for several memorable moments where Carpenter is concerned, from the time the two artists performed “White Horse” and “Coney Island” together to the Work It star’s nightly NSFW “Nonsense” outros.

“the most thank you’s I’ve ever thank you’d to Taylor,” she reflected in a recent Instagram post. “I feel so lucky to witness the magic that is you and this tour. there is truly no one like you and there never will be! i love you with all my heart and i will cherish this taybrina era (and all the eras) till the end of time.”

Another fan-favorite moment from Carpenter’s time with the Eras Tour came earlier this month, when cameras captured the singer-actress running into Barry Keoghan’s arms backstage. Since then, the couple have made their public debut, stepping out together at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars party.

Without naming the Saltburn actor directly, Carpenter shared that she prefers to leave her love life up to “fate.” “I know that’s super broad, but I don’t actively look for it,” she told Cosmo. “The relationships that I actually want to put my energy into have to be so interesting or invigorating because they take me away from the other things I love. So yeah, it’s fun and it’s messy. I think I’m still just at this place where I’m really enjoying the newness of all of it.”

“We intended the offer to remain private while Caitlin Clark plays for the championship,” Cube tweeted early Wednesday morning (March 27) after a TMZ report surfaced. “But I won’t deny what’s now already out there: BIG3 made a historic offer to Caitlin Clark. Why wouldn’t we? Caitlin is a generational athlete who can achieve tremendous success in the BIG3.”

During her tenure at Iowa State, Clark has established herself as a scoring machine, known for her superior shooting and playmaking abilities. This season in particular has been a testament to her prowess. She has maintained an outstanding average of 31.8 points per game, along with 7.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists, making her a top contender for the WNBA Draft and a potential superstar in the BIG3 league.

In later tweets, Cube explained the importance of bringing female athletes into his league. “The skeptics laughed when we made Nancy Lieberman the first female coach of a men’s pro team, and she won the championship in her first year,” he said. “Then Lisa Leslie won it all in year two. With our offer, Caitlin Clark can make history and break down even more barriers for women athletes.”

Because the pay scale in the WNBA is considerably lower than that of the NBA, Cube expressed the significance of paying America’s female athletes a competitive salary versus having to resort to playing overseas to get a steady paycheck.

“America’s women athletes should not be forced to spend their off seasons playing in often dismal and dubious foreign countries just to make ends meet,” he said.

Sean delivered one of the most expansive setlists in Tiny Desk history on Wednesday (March 27) as he took viewers on a journey from the Finally Famous mixtape days through his emergence as a mainstream titan as part of Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music label.

“It’s something my kids can look back on, something my family can look back on to see where I was at in my career,” he said of the performance that serves as a time capsule for those watching years down the line.

Big Sean kicked off his set with the reflective “Memories” before running through “Nothing Is Stopping You,” “Blessings,” “My Last,” “Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay” and more.

He recalled his humble beginnings as a “mixtape rapper” and how detractors tried to count him out after his Hall of Fame album didn’t live up to expectations following his successful debut.

“I remember it was a stressful time for me because when my second album dropped, it didn’t do as well as my first album. People was like, ‘Sophomore slump — it’s over for him.’ Counting me out crazy,” he said. “Then I was able to lock in and make my third album which was Dark Sky Paradise, which is one of my biggest albums.”

Sean flexed his vocal range on “Play No Games” and then moved into anthems such as “All Me,” “Beware,” “Bounce Back” and “One Man Can Change the World” before wrapping up with his “I Don’t F–k With You” banger.

The 36-year-old ended his set teasing an upcoming album “coming soon.”

Big Sean returned from hiatus with his sharp “Precision” single last week.

Jack Antonoff Hangs Up on Reporter After Question About Taylor Swift: ‘You Know I Don’t Talk About That’

Jack Antonoff isn’t giving any spoilers about Taylor Swift‘s new album The Tortured Poets Department, including whether or not he’s involved in the project. One Dutch outlet learned that the hard way in a recent interview with the producer, who abruptly ended their conversation in response to a question about his work with the “Anti-Hero” singer.

While speaking about his latest Bleachers album with NRC, a newspaper based in the Netherlands, Antonoff was frank when asked if he has any credits on Tortured Poets, which is slated for an April 19 release. The former Fun guitarist has been producing for Swift since 2014’s 1989, and he recently won producer of the year at the 2024 Grammys thanks to his work on the pop star’s Midnights LP.

“You know I don’t talk about that,” he told the publication before hanging up. “If you’re looking for clickbait, you’ve come to the wrong place. Thank you for this conversation.”

Shortly afterward, one reader on X criticized the musician for having a “bad attitude” in the new interview. However, other fans pointed out that Antonoff may have been looking to keep the conversation focused on his own work; he and his band dropped their self-titled Bleachers record earlier this month, and it debuted at No. 62 on the Billboard 200.

Another person joked of the incident, “trying to cancel jack antonoff for being a man from new jersey is so bold.”

Though he’s staying tight-lipped about Tortured Poets for now, Antonoff has long been vocal about how much he loves working with Swift. “There’s a lot of magic there,” he told Apple Music 1‘s Zane Lowe of their dynamic in the studio in a March 6 interview. “It’s almost like, the more we do, the less I expect it. Because I often think to myself, well, how much longer could we really keep having this spark? And I’m just grateful that it’s there.”

In a February interview, Antonoff was also candid about why he feels protective of the pop star. “You come after my friend Taylor, you’re toast to me,” he told the Los Angeles Times, adding that questioning Swift’s songwriting skills “is like challenging someone’s faith in God … you just don’t go there.”

Ariana Grande’s Songwriting Prowess to Be Highlighted by Spotify With Dedicated Playlist

Started in February 2020, the Written By series already includes fellow Grande collaborators and co-writers such as Mariah Carey, Victoria Monet, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Max Martin, Savan Kotecha and more.

Written By is one of the ways Spotify highlights songwriters and producers who work behind the scenes and underscores the work of artists who also take an active role in the studio for themselves and others.

“It is important to shine an equal light on Ariana’s catalog of songs both as an artist and as a songwriter to help amplify both sides of her artistry,” says Jacqueline Ankner, songwriter and publishing relations manager at Spotify.

Grande is best known for her powerhouse vocals, but the pop singer-songwriter has also been praised for her skills as a producer and writer. In 2022, The Weeknd took to X (formerly Twitter) to say “i’ve seen Ariana work in real time. That woman is a BEAST on pro tools.” Kenny Beats also weighed in on The Weeknd’s tweet, saying Grande is “insane at comping vocals with 100 stacks.”

News of the new Written By playlist arrives less than a month after Grande released her latest studio album, eternal sunshine. The album has spent its first two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 while its focus track, “we can’t be friends (wait for your love),” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She also hit the top of the Billboard Artist 100 as well as the Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers charts in eternal sunshine’s first week of release.

Luísa Sonza Reveals How She Got Demi Lovato on ‘Penhasco2’ & More | Billboard Women In Music 2024

Luísa Sonza opened up about getting Demi Lovato on her track “Penhasco2,” how she writes her songs and more backstage at Billboard Women in Music 2024.

Luísa Sonza:
I’m Luísa Sonza, and I’m gonna tell you guys like three things about my music that you guys don’t know.

First, I was supposed to do “Penhasco2” alone, but one day, Roy, my producer, called me and said, “Send me some artists that you would like to do a song together.” I send some of my favorite artists and one of them was, like, Demi Lovato. We sent that song that I made, like, one year ago that calls “Penhasco2.” I was sure that she’s gonna like it and she will want to do it with me, I think so. He sent to Demi and Demi accept and it was amazing. And one more thing, Demi: She, like, obviously sings in English, but she wanted to learn Portuguese and sing in Portuguese. So that’s why Demi is amazing, you know, not just because of that. She’s amazing.

Second thing: I think my favorite place to perform is Sao Paulo — it’s not my hometown, but I live there. And I don’t know, I feel like home, you know, so I love to perform there.

How I wrote my songs with my producers: I start writing whatever passes my mind like, if I think some phrase, or I live some things I start to write. Most people don’t know about it. That’s why, like, when I say like, “Oh my god, I did my last album in three months,” no, I just produced my album in, like, in three months, but I am always writing and people don’t know about that.

I almost died talking in English. I don’t even know how I say this in Portuguese. Crazy s–t, guys.

Oversight Board Calls Out Meta’s Arabic Word “Shaheed” Ban

Facebook’s parent company Meta has been called out over the muting of an Arabic word on its platforms.

An oversight board has made a recommendation to Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Threads, and Instagram to loosen their blanket restrictions on the Arabic word “shaheed”. Meta had enacted a blanket ban on the word, reviewing it in 2020, and removing it from the posts of people on the platform that were deemed dangerous. In a statement, the “blunt method” was regarded as  “overbroad and disproportionately restricts freedom of expression and civic discourse,” wrote Oversight Board member Helle Thorning-Schmidt, saying it ignored the complexities of the word and settled for one definition meaning “martyr”.

The group’s findings declared the ban unnecessary given the company’s established policies that can already address any danger posed by terrorist organizations and individuals on the platform when used properly. The board finalized their decision to make the recommendation after the beginning of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7, 2023, which currently has seen 32,000 Palestinians killed according to the Gaza Health Ministry after members of Hamas invaded an area of southern Gaza and killed or taken hostage 1,400 people. They had extended research on “shaheed” but still agreed on the recommendation.

“The term is used in many circumstances, but the vast majority of those referred to as Shaheed are civilians,” said Nadim Nashif, the executive director of The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media. Thorning-Schmidt agreed, stating that the restriction stops legitimate usage of the word in reporting on discussions of terrorism and violence. “It can even lead to those speaking about deceased loved ones having their content taken down in error,” he said.

Jewish advocacy groups have come out against any potential change, claiming that softening the restrictions would enable more antisemitism on the platforms. “These calls to terror and violence will be normalized and, more importantly, more people will be exposed to them, possibly leading to additional violence at a time there is already a lot of violence and targeted antisemitic attacks,” said Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, the founder of CyberWell, an Israeli nonprofit group that tracks antisemitism online. Montemayor said that it flagged over 300 usages of “shaheed” in antisemitic posts on Facebook since October 7.

“We want people to be able to use our platforms to share their views, and we have a set of policies to help them do so safely,” Meta said in a statement. They also said that they would review the feedback they’ve collected and make a decision in 60 days.

Nodal and Pluma’s first collab springs from No. 5 to crown the chart with 8.3 million audience impressions earned in the U.S. in the week ending March 21, according to Luminate; that’s a 27% gain from the previous week.

Through its double-digit win, “La Intención” earns the Greatest Gainer honors, awarded weekly to the song with the largest increase in plays among the ranking’s 40 titles. Plus, it dethrones Intocable’s “Ojalá Que Estuvieras Aquí” from the lead (it falls 1-3) after a 22% decrease in impressions, to 6.2 million.

Thanks to “La Intención,” released via JG/Producciones Ladrón/ Sony Music Latin, JG Music reclaims the No. 1 spot for the first time in over two years. “2 Veces” by Los Plebes del Rancho Grande and Nodal, completed its four-week domination in May 2021.

As “Intención” reigns on Regional Mexican Airplay, the Mexican radio hit nearly misses the No. 1 on the overall Latin Airplay chart, comprised of a panel of Spanish-language stations also ranked by audience impressions, where it hikes 7-2 with 8.8 impressions, up 25%.

Back on Regional Mexican Airplay, “Intención” yields Nodal’s record-extending 16th No. 1 among soloists on the radio ranking. Plus, it ties with Conjunto Primavera and Los Tigres del Norte for the sixth-most overall. Here’s the recap of the acts with the most chart-toppers:

  • 24, Calibre 50
  • 19, Banda MS de Sergio Lizarraga
  • 19, Intocable
  • 18, Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizarraga
  • 17, La Arrolladora Banda el Limon de Rene Camacho
  • 16, Christian Nodal
  • 16, Conjunto Primavera
  • 16, Los Tigres del Norte

Further, with the new champ, Peso Pluma claims his third No. 1 just four months after “Bipolar” — with Jasiel Nuñez and Junior H — claimed one week atop Regional Mexican Airplay.
