Fans’ eyes are being drawn to “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” featuring Super Slimey running mates Future and Young Thug. It’s Thugger’s return to music with his first official verse since reaching a plea deal in the YSL RICO trial and being released from jail in October after two years behind bars.

“Yeah, n—a, King Spider back/ I don’t even believe I was locked up, for real, for real/ I was havin’ my way the whole time, fool, you know what I’m saying,” Thug raps about his jail bid.

Thugger even took to X to clarify one of his bars regarding the beauty of American women.

“When I said these U.S b—–s kinda bad I meant ‘bad girls’ not ugly girls.. we got the prettiest girls on earth,” he wrote.

This is not all for Lil Baby, either. In an Instagram comment on Friday, he promised a fan that he’s planning to roll out a deluxe edition of WHAM on Jan. 7. There’s also a full-length second project slated for later in 2025.

Bruce Springsteen Praises Jeremy Allen White’s Singing in ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’ Biopic

Bruce Springsteen has been spending time hanging around the set for the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere and so far he’s very impressed with the movie’s star, Jeremy Allen White. The actor best known for playing perpetually harried chef Carmy Berzatto on The Bear has been filming the movie that will tell the story behind the making of the Boss’ stark 1982 character-heavy album Nebraska.

In a recent chat with SiriusXM E Street Radio’s Jim Rotolo, Springsteen, 75, talked about whether it’s been strange to be on set as he watches Allen portray a thirtysomething version of him. “A little bit at first, but you get over that pretty quick and Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it,” Springsteen said. “He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize and he’s just done a great job, so I’ve had a lot of fun. I’ve had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there.”

More importantly, at a time when Timothée Chalamet is earning praise for his original vocals in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, Rotolo wondered what The Boss thinks of White’s singing in the film. “He sings well. He sings very well,” Springsteen said. “You know, and Jeremy Strong [as Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau] and Odessa Young [as then-girlfriend Faye], you know, it’s a tremendous cast of people. They cast the film beautifully, so it’s very exciting.”

Directed and written by Scott Cooper, the adaptation of Warren Zanes’ book of the same name, the movie has gotten full support from Springsteen. Last year, White told GQ that in addition to hours and hours of video study to nail Bruce’s signature raspy singing and speaking cadence he’s also been working with a vocal coach.

“I’ve got a really talented group of people helping me train vocally, musically, to get ready for this thing,” White told the magazine. “I’m also really lucky [that] Bruce is really supportive of the film, and so I’ve had some access to him and he’s just the greatest guy.” Before cameras started rolling, White was asked last June if he planned to do his own singing in the film, telling Variety, “we’re gonna try, we’re gonna try our best.”

In the same interview with Rotolo, Springsteen also confirmed a late 2024 press release teasing that this year will bring a new collection that will “look back at Springsteen’s storied recording career, featuring never-before-heard material.” When Rotolo asked about that release teasing unheard tunes, Springsteen simply confirmed, “there will be.” The singer also debuted a new song called “Girlfriend” in honor of late Replacement’s guitarist Slim Dunlap on the episode.

Lil Durk’s Murder-For-Hire Trial Postponed Until October

Lil Durk is currently behind bars awaiting trial for his role in a murder-for-hire plot that targeted Quando Rondo but instead left the rapper’s cousin shot and killed in 2022. In new court documents that were recently filed, Lil Durk’s trial has been postponed until October of this year as officials will comb through 230 gigabytes of digital evidence.

As shared by independent legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, Lil Durk was slated to go on trial next week as seen in the filing made on Dec. 31 to the United States District Court, Central District of California. Cuniff combed through the filing and discovered that Durk’s new trial date will be Oct. 14 as the state continues to examine its haul of evidence as prosecutors continue to build out their case.

Cuniff shared that Durk’s co-defendant Asa “Boogie” Houston is opposing the trial postponement while another co-defendant Deandre “DeDe” Wilson appears to be seeking a plea deal after requesting a pre-plea sentence report.

The discovery portion of the matter focuses on “approximately 230 GB of digital evidence such as audio/video recordings and surveillance footage, and approximately 20,000 pages of reports concerning murder and other violent acts, photographs, witness statements, and medical documents.”

It is expected that Lil Durk will remain behind bars until the trial after being denied bond due to a potential flight risk. The Chicago star was arrested while en route to a Florida airport that was reportedly heading to Europe before he was cornered and arrested.

Sabrina Carpenter Shares (Then Immediately Breaks) Her NSFW New Year’s Resolution for 2025

Sabrina Carpenter‘s list of new year‘s resolutions is short and sweet — but that doesn’t mean she’s not already having trouble keeping them.

In a hilarious Instagram post Thursday (Jan. 2), the 25-year-old pop star shared photos from a recent ski trip with friends and wrote, “new year’s resolution no more d–k jokes.”

Then, already going back on her word, Carpenter added, “it’s gonna be really hard.”

In some of the snaps, the “Taste” singer poses in front of a snowy backdrop in a glamorous blue snowflake-patterned dress, a ski lift running across the horizon behind her. In others, she models a Hello Kitty snowsuit while frolicking in the snow with her friends.

Carpenter also shared footage from her trip to the slopes on TikTok, featuring clips of her friends singing karaoke, hitting a piñata, hanging out in a hot tub and throwing snowballs. “leaving these losers in 2024 :’) they don’t know it yet,” she joked in her caption.

The Girl Meets World alum’s vacation is well-deserved after a year of hard work that paid off big time for Carpenter in 2024. Following the runaway success of her summer smash “Espresso,” the musician scored her first-ever No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Please Please Please,” spent four weeks atop the Billboard 200 with Short n’ Sweet and was named Billboard‘s No. 2 greatest pop star of 2024 (outranked only by Kendrick Lamar).

Going into 2025, Carpenter is gearing up to continue her Short n’ Sweet Tour with a European leg kicking off in March. She’s also nominated for six Grammys ahead of the February ceremony, including best new artist and song, record and album of the year.

Apple To Cease Production of Ridiculously Expensive Vision Pro Headset That No One Bought, Report

This news shouldn’t shock anyone, but many people did not spend $3,500 on the Apple Vision Pro headset, and now, reportedly, the company that Steve Jobs built is sitting on a stockpile of the device and will no longer be producing it.

According to a report by The Information, initially published in October 2024 and broken down by Kotaku, Apple supplied enough parts for 500K Vision Pro headsets in October but only sold around 370K units.

The failure to meet sales estimates meant that “tens of thousands of undelivered parts” were sitting in the warehouse and would no longer be needed.

The report states that Apple has manufactured enough parts to meet the Vision Pro’s expected lifetime sales, which fell short of initial projections.

Eurogamer points out that the current numbers align with a report published by the UK Financial Times last summer, where components suppliers claimed they expected to make fewer than 400k units.

Per Eurogamer:

That same report claimed Apple had significantly scaled back its internal sales targets for the headset due to production difficulties, after previously expecting at least 1m sales in 2024.

Apple has reportedly struggled to easily produce the Vision Pro’s two micro-OLED displays for each eye, as well as the device’s outward facing lens.

Welp.

Apple Should Have Saw This Coming

The writing was on the wall when Apple unveiled the Vision Pro. During the reveal event, a video of the crowd reacting to the $3,500 price tag immediately went viral, and should have let the tech selling the device would not be as easy as pushing a yearly iPhone model on its loyal customers.

While it was a valiant attempt, Apple took amassivee swing in the market with its spatial computing device but couldn’t compete with Meta, which has found a sweet spot with the $300 to $500 price points for its Meta Quest headsets.

Apple is still reportedly working on a much more affordable version of the Vision Pro, but based on this news, we don’t expect to see it any time soon.

Bossman DLow recently shot his shot at rapper GloRilla in the most hilarious and bold way possible. The Florida rapper took to his Instagram story, posting a picture of Glo looking flawless and captioning it, “Jesus Lord help me God why did you take yo time with my wife like this.” Fans immediately caught the playful confession of love, and it quickly went viral.

For a while, Bossman DLow has kept it professional whenever GloRilla’s name has come up, staying cool and focused on his own career. But this time, he couldn’t resist. His post was a mix of DLow being playful, but also teasing to see if there’s any chance of something between them. As he openly expressed his crush in front of the world. This move definitely got people talking, with fans and followers showing love for Bossman’s boldness. While he’s been known to teach finesse and serious hustle in the rap game, this moment proved he’s got a funny side, too. It’s not often you see a rapper openly thirsting over another artist like this, but Bossman DLow’s confession was all love, with no chill whatsoever.

Whether or not Glo sees it, Bossman definitely made his intentions clear—he’s got a thing for her, and he’s not afraid to show it. We are rooting for Mr.Slippery to get his dream woman.

Don Lemon Calls MAGA Supporters “Dumb F*cking Idiots”

Last week, former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and not-so-genius tech bro Elon Musk, co-chairs of President-elect Donald Trump’s new “Department of Government Efficiency,” both went on social media defending the American tech industry’s consistent hiring of foreign engineers despite the MAGA world’s seething hatred for immigrants taking “American jobs” and the fact that Musk and Ramaswamy backed Trump as he spewed xenophobic, anti-immigrant hate speech on the campaign trail throughout his campaign.

Musk tweeted, “The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low” and that “there is a dire shortage of extremely talented and motivated engineers in America,” the so-called greatest country in the world. Ramaswamy co-signed Musk, tweeting: “Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.”

The remarks have sparked somewhat of a civil war in the MAGA world between conservatives who don’t appreciate Americans being characterized as lazy and incompetent (you know, unless those Americans are non-white male “DEI hires”) and Trump supporters who will back team Trump no matter what the president-elect or his loyal affiliates have to say.

Anyway, former CNN host Don Lemon weighed in on the controversy with a message for MAGA Republicans on both sides of the debate:

All of y’all are stupid!

“Now you’re finding out, you dumb f**king idiots,” Lemon said in the latest episode of his YouTube video series, which he launched after Musk canceled his series on X because Lemon made him look like a big, racist idiot during an interview (which only happened because Musk is a big, racist idiot.)

“Now you’re just figuring this sh*t out. You’re so f**king stupid and you deserve it. You f**king deserve it because you’re so dumb. Yes, I am gloating over your stupidity,” Lemon continued. “You have been co-opted, you’re in a f**king cult and you don’t even realize it because you have stupid MAGA brain and you don’t get it. How stupid and dumb are you?”

I mean, Lemon ain’t wrong — but damn, bro, did you have to drag them like that?

Actually, yes, yes he did.

They are, after all, just a bunch of “dumb f**king idiots.”

Good Girl Gone Dry: Rihanna Reveals She Didn’t Drink Any Alcohol In 2024 [Video]

Rihanna’s New Year’s Eve celebration was extra special this year. She revealed she sustained from alcohol all of 2024.

As spotted on Page Six, the “We Found Love” singer admitted something very personal about her current journey. She posted a video of her New Year’s Eve vibes with her friends and family. After counting down the last seconds of 2024 she said, “Y’all, I didn’t drink all year! I didn’t drink all year.” The caption read, “New Year, New Me,” which further cemented her commitment. While her core fanbase was happy to hear that she avoided booze, she was met with plenty of jokes about her very much delayed new album. “Yeah you didn’t drop any music all year either,” someone wrote.

“I thought it was the countdown for the album drop,” a different follower commented. Another user named Lorenzo wrote, “We want an album forehead,” which apparently didn’t sit well with Rihanna. The “Diamonds” performer quickly responded to him saying, “Listen, Lorenzo, you ain’t cute enough to be calling me by my Black name, you dizzy f*ck!” The hilarious clapback was largely embraced with over 800 individuals responding with laughing emojis.

Black Conservative Gala Features Waka Flocka Flame, Antonio Brown & Fivio Foreign

Waka Flocka Flame will be appearing at a gala hosted by Black conservatives for the second inauguration of Donald Trump, with Antonio Brown among the other featured guests.

As President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration approaches later this month, multiple events are being finalized. One of them will be the Legacy of Freedom Ball, organized by the Black Conservatives Federation, which has added Waka Flocka Flame to its lineup of guests. The federation has promised “an evening of elegance and unparalleled celebration” to honor Trump for his second presidential term. However, the addition of Waka Flocka Flame has drawn derision to the event from observers. “Embarrassing,” was the commentary from activist Deray Mckesson in a post sharing the flyer on X, formerly Twitter.

The other guests that have been to the gala include Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign, former NFL star receiver Antonio Brown, former ESPN host and sports journalist Sage Steele, former Florida Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll, and evangelist Dr. Alveda King, the niece of civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. King and Steele will serve as honorary event chairs along with two Republican members of Congress, Florida Representative Byron Donalds and Texas Representative Wesley Hunt. Noted conservative media figure Kimberly Klacik will serve as the mistress of ceremonies.

Waka Flocka’s inclusion in the event is unsurprising, considering that he’s been an avid supporter of Donald Trump publicly since early last year. The Queens-born, Atlanta-based artist even declared that if Vice President Kamala Harris had won the presidential election in November, he would leave the United States. He defended his position in a post on X, formerly Twitter, last July.

“Trump still my president. I don’t have to stand with a red hat or dance [on] stage for money in my pockets,” he continued. “[It] Didn’t push me [in] this direction. This is my choice like I choose not to eat pork, but do that make me hate pork lovers or disrespect their character…nor will I act like [it].” Waka Flocka Flame was not alone in declaring his support of Trump either on the rap front, as Fivio Foreign was present at a Trump rally last year. They join Kodak Black, who has gone on record of supporting the president-elect after receiving a pardon from him back in 2021.

Lil Baby Delivers 4th Studio LP ‘WHAM’ & The Early Returns Are In

Birthday Bash Concert After Party Hosted by Lil Baby

Lil Baby last dropped a full-length album in 2022’s It’s Only Me which was a solid outing from the southwest Atlanta rapper and was thought by many to be the next step in his burgeoning stardom. Three years later, Lil Baby dropped his fourth studio album WHAM (Who Hard As Me) and the early returns on X are in with fans giving their knee-jerk opinions as expected.

Hype for Lil Baby’s latest project bubbled at a steady rate in 2024 with Young Thug dropping cryptic tweets suggesting that the pair were soon to cook up something for the masses. As the months rolled on, LB dropped a series of teasers, including sharing a partial tracklist on social media before he officially announced his new album at his birthday concert last month.

Now that the project is here, our first listen to the album reveals that LB hasn’t lost his gift for melody while keeping the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach to the music. The guests on WHAM are also perfectly hand-selected with Young Thug and Future showing up for the early standout track “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” and GloRilla put on a scene-stealing show on “Redbone.”

Other features include “By Myself” featuring Rylo Rodriguez and Rod Wave, and Travis Scott shows up for the “Stuff” track. What many fans online are zeroing in on is 21 Savage’s feature verse on the track “Outfit” with some believing the Slaughter Gang star is shouting out Drake while throwing a slight shot toward Kendrick Lamar.

Lil Baby should get most of the credit for carrying the project as his mix of sing-song trap anthems and some rare moments of vulnerability highlight how well-rounded an artist he’s become over the years. However, and we’re not sure why, but the reactions are mixed with some believing the production doesn’t match LB’s talent while other fans are enjoying the output.

On X, the reactions to WHAM are still coming in and we’ve got them listed below.
