It looks like Kanye West is deep into his gamer bag. Ye recently proclaimed that The Last of Us Part II is the best video game ever made.

As spotted on Rap Up Magazine the Chicago, IL. native has been spending a lot of his time on the sticks. Earlier this week he shared an Instagram Story post declaring his love for the action adventure game title. “[The] Last of Us [Part II] on Survivor+ mode got me spending all day on one board,” Kanye wrote. “By far the best game ever made… This is not a sponsored post.” For those not familiar The Last of Us Part II follows Ellie as she tries to survive a post-apocalyptic world and avenge the murder of Joel Miller, the lead character from the original The Last of Us. While the project’s horror suspense filled plot is sure to keep first time players engaged on the normal setting, Kanye is referring to playing the game on its’ second most difficulty.

Originally released in 2020, The Last of Us Part II was met with widespread acclaim and was praised for its’ casting, graphics, music and more. In Jan. 2024 the game was remastered for the PlayStation 5 and offered graphic enhancements and new gameplay modes. This is not the first time Kanye West has expressed his love for video games. Back in 2016 he announced that he was working on an album titled Turbo Grafx 16. He describe the shelved effort as “just on some super nerd vibes” and a reference to one of my favorite gaming systems when I was a kid.”

Here’s How Justin Bieber Reacted to Not Seeing ‘Queen’ Rihanna Perform Her Own Songs at Karaoke

Justin Bieber is just as bummed as fans are that he didn’t get to see Rihanna‘s latest impromptu performance.

Over the weekend, RiRi made a pitstop at Manhattan’s Girls Love Karaoke, where she took over the stage to perform “Needed Me” and “Sex With Me” from her 2016 album Anti.

“Missed seein u sing Queen,” he wrote on his Instagram Story Friday (Jan. 3) with the goat, crown and shocked reaction emojis over a clip he reshared of his Def Jam labelmate performing “Needed Me.”

“Don’t do too much because, you know, I got five minutes. My battery’s about to burn out. There’s a lot of cameras. I didn’t come here for this s–t,” Rihanna said in a video recap of the event posted to Girls Love Karaoke’s Instagram.

The last time the “Work” hitmaker delivered a full concert was in March, when she performed during the pre-wedding celebration for Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, India. It was the first time she put on a full show since her Anti World Tour in 2016. Coincidentally, Bieber performed at another of the same couple’s pre-wedding celebration months later, marking the “Sorry” singer’s first performance since he canceled the remainder of his Justice World Tour in 2023 due to health concerns.

Both superstars have been quiet on the music front and have prioritized starting their own families, but Rihanna previously teased that she and her partner A$AP Rocky have been cooking up something new. “I already got stuff that I feel like I could make hits out of,” she told Entertainment Tonight in April. “Me and Rocky are really trying to figure out who’s gonna use what because it’s so good.”

Supreme Court Justice Uncle Clarence Thomas To Avoid Federal Ethics Probe

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas will not face a federal investigation into violations of judicial ethics he allegedly committed.

On Thursday (Jan. 2), the U.S. Judicial Conference announced that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas will not be subject to a federal investigation of allegations that he violated ethics with past behavior. In letters sent to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Representative Hank Johnson (D-Ga), the judicial body relayed their decision, questioning if they had the authority to make such a probe.

“Justice Thomas has filed amended financial disclosure statements that address several issues identified in your letter,” Conrad wrote, continuing: “In addition, he has agreed to follow the relevant guidance issued to other federal judges, which would include the guidance mentioned above. We have no reason to believe he has done anything less. That provides one answer to your referral request.”

The requests to investigate came from Democrats in Congress who pointed to findings from a published investigative article last April by ProPublica that showed over two dozen instances of Thomas receiving luxury gifts and trips, mostly from the billionaire and Republican sponsor Harlan Crow. These include Crow purchasing Thomas’ mother’s home and a 2019 trip to Indonesia estimated to have cost $500,000. It has been estimated that since Thomas’ 1991 confirmation, he’s accepted $4.75 million worth of gifts. Thomas had argued that the guidelines at the time didn’t demand that he disclose those gifts. Conrad also cited that a request by Whitehouse and Johnson made to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland for a special counsel impacted the conference’s decision.

The situation has caused an uproar, with many more questioning the Court and its ability to rule and deliver opinions without bias. The judicial advocacy group, Fix The Court, decried the news in a statement: “The Conference’s letters further underscore the need for Congress to create a new and transparent mechanism to investigate the justices for ethics violations since the Conference is unwilling to act upon the one method we had presumed existed to do that.”

It looks like Kanye West and Bianca Censori are getting back to the basics for 2025, as the couple released some new pics to start off the new year and actually seem like new and refreshed versions of themselves.

According to TMZ, the controversial couple posted some new photos, and in them, Kanye doesn’t look homeless and Bianca doesn’t seem miserable (no shots). Rocking a tight Caesar haircut and all-black attire, Kanye actually looks like he’s in better shape than he has been in recent years and Bianca has visible eyebrows again. Naturally, she’s leaving little to the imagination as she rocks a see-through top next to her man, but that’s basically been her M.O. ever since tying the knot with the Hip-Hop icon.

As for what to expect from these two in 2025, we can only wait and see but judging from how they’ve already started the year with new pics, expect them to be upfront and center with their relationship and celebrity status for the rest of 2025.

Per TMZ:

Kanye is indeed one lucky guy as he proudly reveals in these new snaps showing him taking selfies with bodacious Bianca. Both are decked out in all black, but Bianca stands out, of course, in her skintight bodysuit and tights.

And that’s only for starters … you can also feast your eyes on some of Bianca’s classic hot shots in our 2 other galleries.

Check out pics of the “happy” couple below, and let us know what you expect from these two in the next 12 months in the comments section.

Jimmy Butler Informs Miami Heat That He Wants A Trade

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has informed the team that he wants a trade, saying that he’s looking to get “his joy back” playing basketball.

NBA star Jimmy Butler has officially informed the Miami Heat that he wants out. The star guard “indicated to the Heat he wants the team to trade him” according to reports, expressing that he is “open to playing anywhere other than Miami.” The news broke after Butler spoke candidly to the media after the Heat’s 128-115 loss to the Indiana Pacers at home on Thursday night (January 2). “I want to see me get my joy back for playing basketball,” he said to a reporter. “Wherever that may be, we’ll find out here pretty soon. But I want to get my joy back. I’m happy here … off the court. But I want to be back to somewhere dominant. I want to hoop. I want to help this team win and right now I’m not doing that.” When asked if that could happen in Miami, Butler responded, “Probably not.”

The situation between Butler and the Heat has been brewing since last spring when team president Pat Riley announced that they would not extend the guard’s contract before the 2024-2025 season. Things were also soured when Butler, who missed the Heat’s first-round playoff series against the eventual champion Boston Celtics due to a knee injury, indicated that if he were healthy the team would’ve won. Riley gave a curt response to those comments at his end-of-season media session: “If you’re not on the court playing, you should keep your mouth shut.” It was reported that Butler’s team has consistently met with Riley and Heat owner Mickey Arison in the past few weeks to try to resolve the split with no success.

Sources also state that Butler has not provided a list of teams he wants to be traded to, feeling as if he’d make any team a contender. It was also revealed that he is willing to “do whatever the Heat ask of him” during the process before he is traded. Butler did not play the entire fourth quarter of the game against the Pacers, the second straight game this week where he was benched. He is in the final year of his contract, earning $49 million. He plans to decline his 2025-2026 player option to become a free agent in July.

Diplo ‘Revenge Porn’ Accuser Must Reveal Her Identity, Judge Rules

A Los Angeles federal judge says that a woman accusing Diplo of sharing “revenge porn” must reveal her identity if she wants to proceed with her civil lawsuit against the star.

The case — which claims the DJ (Thomas Wesley Pentz) filmed sexual encounters and shared them on Snapchat — was filed by an unnamed “Jane Doe.” But in a ruling Tuesday (Dec. 31), Judge Mónica Ramírez Almadani said the accuser had failed to legally show that she needs to remain anonymous.

The use of Doe pseudonyms has become common in sexual abuse complaints, and attorneys for Diplo’s accuser had argued that she would face retaliation if her name is revealed. But Judge Almadani said such treatment is reserved only for clear-cut, high-risk situations — and that the case against Diplo doesn’t qualify under that standard.

“The court appreciates that plaintiff’s allegations in her complaint are sensitive and of a highly personal nature, and that she may face some public scrutiny,” the judge wrote. “However, absent a demonstrated need for anonymity, there is a prevailing public interest in open judicial proceedings.”

The ruling is a win for Diplo, who has strongly denied the lawsuit’s allegations and argued that the plaintiff must reveal her name. In court filings, his lawyers had argued that he “cannot adequately confront his accuser without knowing her identity.”

In a complaint filed in June, Diplo’s accuser alleged she’d had a consensual sexual relationship with the DJ from 2016 to 2023, and that she occasionally “gave defendant Diplo permission to record them having sex.” But she said she later learned that he had sometimes secretly recorded them and then shared footage on the internet “without plaintiff’s knowledge or consent.”

“Plaintiff brings this action to recover for the emotional and physical injuries she endured because of Diplo’s actions and to make sure no one else is forced to suffer the privacy invasions and physical and mental trauma she felt and continues to feel to this day,” Doe’s attorneys wrote.

The lawsuit accused Diplo of violating the federal Violence Against Women Act, which was amended in 2022 to ban the sharing of “intimate” images without the consent of those depicted in them. The case also cited an earlier revenge porn law enacted by the state of California.

In seeking to use the “Jane Doe” pseudonym, attorneys for Diplo’s accuser argued that she would face “personal embarrassment and social stigmatization” if her name were revealed. They warned that the DJ has a “large following,” and that when another woman spoke out about alleged revenge porn, she had faced “ridicule and threats to bodily harm.”

But in Tuesday’s decision, Judge Almadani said Doe had failed to supply hard evidence to support those claims — and that barring such proof, people using the American legal system must use their real names. The judge cited an earlier ruling that “the people have a right to know who is using their courts.”

“Those using the courts must be prepared to accept the public scrutiny that is an inherent part of public trials,” the judge wrote, quoting from another old ruling. “Plaintiff has not sufficiently demonstrated that this case warrants an exception.”

Though Almadani wasn’t swayed by fears of potential foul play, she pointedly warned both sides about avoiding any such behavior as the case moves forward — saying that she would “not tolerate any disrespect toward either party.”

“This case, like all other cases, shall be handled with professionalism and civility by all sides,” the judge wrote. “Any actual threats of retaliation or harassment shall be brought to the Court’s attention immediately.”

Neither side’s attorneys immediately returned requests for comment on Friday (Jan. 3).

Young Thug Addresses YSL RICO Case on Lil Baby’s New Album ‘WHAM’

Young Thug made his return to music on Friday (Jan. 3) when he appeared on Lil Baby’s new album WHAM for an assist on “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” with Future.

Thugger doesn’t waste any time addressing his two-plus-year jail stint as part of the enduring YSL RICO case.

Trending on Billboard

“Yeah, n—a, King Spider back/ I don’t even believe I was locked up, for real, for real/ I was havin’ my way the whole time, fool, you know what I’m saying,” Thug raps about the jail bid over Wheezy’s skittering production.

Young Thug was arrested on racketeering charges in May 2022 and remained behind bars while the longest case in Georgia’s history yet unraveled.

He finally reached a plea deal and secured his release in October, when he was sentenced to 15 years of probation as Thug pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and firearms charges while pleading no contest to a handful of others.

Gunna was also arrested with Thug and 26 others in May 2022 as part of a sprawling 56-count indictment. However, he reached an Alford plea agreement in December 2022 and was released.

In the time since, Gunna has continued to battle allegations of snitching from fans, and Lil Baby, once a sidekick, has distanced himself from affiliating with the YSL rapper. Attorney Steve Sadow, who represented Gunna in the case, has vehemently insisted his client did not cooperate with authorities and had no impact on Young Thug’s case.

“This long post is solely to set out the truth. Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case,” Sadow tweeted in part on Friday (Jan. 3). “He spent 8 months in jail and was released in Dec. 2022 after entering an Alford plea. Gunna’s plea could not and was not used at Thug’s trial and he was never even named as a witness.”

He concluded his message: “THOSE THAT HAVE AND CONTINUE TO BAD MOUTH GUNNA, GET OVER IT. NUFF’ SAID.”

Young Thug hasn’t addressed his relationship with Gunna since his release outside of a since-deleted November tweet snipingat the Atlanta rapper. “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know you my guy,” he cryptically penned at the time. Minutes later, the tweet was gone.

Neil Young to Release ‘Lost’ 1977 Album ‘Oceanside Countryside’

Neil Young is rolling out another gem from the vault. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icon announced on Friday (Jan. 3) that one of his great “lost” albums, Oceanside Countryside, will be released on February 14 through Reprise Records.

“This analog original album was recorded in 1977 and unreleased. These songs are the original mixes done at the time of the recordings in the order I planned for the album,” Young said in a statement about the latest release in his Analog Original Series (AOS). The album was originally recorded from May-December 1977, just before the release of his 1978 folk/country album Comes a Time, which featured such beloved songs as the title track, “Lotta Love,” “Human Highway,” “Field of Opportunity” and “Four Strong Winds.”

“I sang the vocals and played the instruments on Oceanside in Florida at Triad studios and Malibu at Indigo studio,” Young aded. “I sang the vocals and recorded with my great band of friends, Ben Keith [steel guitar], Joe Osborn [bass], Karl T. Himmel [drums], and Rufus Thibodeaux [fiddle] at Crazy Mama’s in Nashville on Countryside. I hope you enjoy this treasure of an Analog Original recording, recorded by Tim Mulligan, as much as I do. Listening to it now, I think I should have put it out back then.”

Trending on Billboard

All the songs on Oceanside are performed solo by Young, with a group of friends joining him on Countryside, including Keith, Thibodeaux, Himmel and Osborne, with Tim Drummond on bass for “The Old Homestead,” which also features The Band’s Levon Helm on drums.

In addition to featuring many of the same musicians as Comes a Time, Oceanside Countryside also has a trio of songs (“Goin’ Back,” “Human Highway” and “Field of Opportunity”) that also appear on that album. The vinyl version of Oceanside will include tracks on the CD of the same name from Young’s Archives Vol. III release. Young noted that the tracklist for the upcoming album — which was recorded on tape — reflects how he originally planned to release the LP, which will be available in analog and on vinyl for the first time ever with the original mixes done at the time of the recording.

Though a number of the songs on Oceanside originally appeared on Archives Vol. III, the release noted that the versions are “not always the same.” Specifically, the versions of “Lost in Space,” “Captain Kennedy” and “The Old Homestead” on the analog original vinyl release date from the Hawks & Doves album from 1980. In addition, “Field of Opportunity” and “Dance Dance Dance” are the original versions that have backing vocals from Young instead of Nicolette Larson, whose vocals appeared on Archives Vol. III.
