Drake may be done participating in rap beef for the foreseeable future but that isn’t keeping the King of The North from having a little fun with the remnantes of his latest war.

In the midst of Drake’s battle with half of the Hip-Hop game (we’re exaggerating of course), Metro Boomin dropped a free “BBL Drizzy” instrumental for the heck of it and offered up a bag to whoever was able to flip it the best. Well, it seems like challenge was accepted and after multiple artists gave it a try (most of them dissing Drake of course), Drake and Sexyy Red have decided to give it a try and just dropped a collabo cut, “U My Everything” over the Metro Boomin instrumental.

With everything that’s gone down over the past few weeks you can tell Drake took it all in stride and is embracing the hate as he’s dropping bars like “Why you love me still a mystery/Me and this surgeon got history/I changed a lot of girls lives for real, they need a new body they hittin’ me/Hey! BBL Drizzy, they want a new body they ask me for it.”
Lowkey clever on his part.
Check out “U My Everything” below and let us know who you think flipped the “BBL Drizzy” beat the best in the comments section.

Now that Snoop Dogg running Death Row, his Dogg Pound click is back in full effect and with the way they’ve been dropping off new work as of late you’d think it was the mid 90’s all over again.

Once again linking up for the Stressmatic assisted visuals to “Favorite Color Blue,” Daz Dillinger, Kurupt and Snoop Dogg drape themselves in their favorite color (which is blue if you didn’t know) and hit up a hotel with some thick young women and turn up in a room which sports blue curtains, couches and walls. Whoever owns that hotel must be a Crip or something.

Gunna meanwhile continues to do his thing regardless of how people might feel about him and in the visuals to “Jump,” he heads down to Africa to link up with Tyla and Skillibeng to take in some culture and turn up with the locals who seem to enjoy the company of the three aforementioned artists.
Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Icewear Vezzo, Payroll Giovanni, and more.

With RM’s solo project Right Place, Wrong Person coming out May 23, we take a look at his impressive chart success as a solo artist and with BTS. His hits such as “Wild Flower” and “Butter,” to name a few, have landed him on various Billboard charts.

Narrator:RM is gearing up for the release of his upcoming solo project, Right Place, Wrong Person, and to celebrate, we’re highlighting some of his biggest chart accomplishments. This is Billboard Explains RM’s Monster Chart Success.

RM made his solo chart debut in March 2015 under his Rap Monster name, thanks to his song “P.D.D” with Warren G. The song debuted at No. 9 on the World Digital Song Sales Chart. Then, his self-titled solo mixtape debuted at No. 12 on the World Albums Chart the next month.

“P.D.D”  was just the beginning for RM on the World Digital Song Sales Chart. He has 19 top 10s, and four have gone to No. 1, including “Wild Flower,” his collaboration with Youjeen. “Wild Flower” was a big success for RM: The track gave him his first solo entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 40 on the Billboard Global 200.

On the Billboard 200, RM has charted two projects: the mixtape, mono, which peaked at No. 26 in 2018, and his debut album Indigo, which hit No. 3 in 2022.

And we can’t forget the massive chart success he had with BTS. The group has charted six No. 1  albums on the Billboard 200, most recently with ‘Proof’ in June 2022. And they have had six No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100, including “Dynamite,” their Coldplay collab “My Universe,” and “Butter,” which dominated for 10 weeks in 2021.

Stay tuned to see where RM’s new project takes him next on the Billboard charts.

After a four-year hiatus, Nathy Peluso is back with her new album, Grasa. She talks about how it encapsulates her growth from her 20s to her 30s, how her dad inspired the title, her various collaborations including Blood Orange, Ca7riel, Paco Amoroso and more!

Isabela Raygoza:You also play the guitar, right?

Nathy Peluso:I do, but with these nails it’s impossible. When I go to the studio, I cut them.

Isabela Raygoza:I was looking at your nails and how beautiful they look.

Nathy Peluso:So grasa, so red.

Isabela Raygoza: They’re grasa.

Nathy Peluso:Yes, grasa!

Isabela Raygoza: I’m using the word, too.

Nathy Peluso:Hi, I’m Nathy Peluso, and this is Billboard News.

Isabela Raygoza: Thank you for coming. We saw that you were a guest on Karol G’s tour. That was incredible.

Nathy Peluso:She is very generous, she invited me to play in Buenos Aires, which means a lot to me. That was the first time we sang “Gato Malo,” which is the song we’ve had together for years. We’ve never played it together like that in person and it was super special. She has a very gigantic, beautiful, spectacular show, and I also love her very much as a friend. It was very special.

Isabela Raygoza: Grasa is the name of your album. I think it’s an incredible and catchy name, isn’t it? Tell me, why Grasa? What’s the story?

Nathy Peluso:This album took a lot of time and phases of my life, searching for what I wanted to say. In the end, it all showed in this album. And I wanted the title to come on its own. I didn’t have a title. I did all of the album without the title.

A hot minute ago it felt like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was all over the place on the music scene, but as of late the Bronx rapper has been keeping a relatively low profile whenever he isn’t getting into drama overseas over some ridiculous situations.

Looking to get his career back on track, A Boogie returns to the rap scene with Cash Cobain in the visuals to “Body” in which the two men gather their crews and a gang of thick young women to turn up with them from the block to a yacht back to a bowling alley where pins were knocked down and booties twerked in celebration. The bowling alley is the last place you’d expect to see a bunch of bouncing booties. Just sayin.’

Keeping the scene in NY, Hip-Hop OG Havoc of Mobb Deep keeps that Infamous energy alive and in his clip to “Separated,” the QB triple-OG takes to the block with his peoples and shows ain’t nothing change as he still gets love and respect from his fellow QBC comrades.
Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Saweetie, GloRilla, and more.

It’s been a few months since Common revealed that he and legendary Hip-Hop producer, Pete Rock were in the kitchen cooking up some new work for the old heads that have been following their careers since the early 90’s. On Wednesday, May 22, we get a sample in the form of their new single “Wise Up.”

Wanting to take it back to the essence of Hip-Hop, Common and Pete Rock collaborate to create a sound reminiscent of Hip-Hop’s golden era while sonically giving heads something to bump and bop to in 2024. In a press release for the new single, Common explains why they decided to go with this record for their first single.

“’Wise Up’ represents the coming together of a New York Producer and a Chicago MC doing the hip-hop we love. It feels like the spirit of where we come from, the boom bap, the basement, but it also feels forward and new. We wanted this to be the first joint because this record captures a new sound and is a new light but speaks directly to our hip-hop family” said Common in a statement.
Pete Rock echoed the feeling and praised Common for his artistry and mastery of the mic, adding, “Working with Common was a breath of fresh air. We both connected to a higher power, which helped us tap into our greatest level of creativity. We constructed an amazing project!  Common has an incredible soul, so it was easy to connect with someone who is on the same page as me.”
The joint came out hella dope.
Check out the visuals to “Wise Up” and let us know your thoughts on the song in the comments section below.
