Birdman, who comes across as someone who isn’t about the funnies, issued a warning to retired rapper turned top podcaster, Joe Budden. The Cash Money Records honcho told Budden to halt his critiques of NBA YoungBoy and leave the Louisiana rapper alone, this after YoungBoy shared some thoughts too.
On episode 680 of The Joe Budden Podcast, the cast spoke briefly about the latest single from NBA YoungBoy, which turned into a moment for Budden to express his disdain for the rapper, who is currently on house arrest in Utah. Among the rappers of his generation, YoungBoy has a lengthy discography despite his relative youth and a highly supportive fanbase.
Although Birdman hails from New Orleans, YoungBoy has expressed sincere admiration for the mogul and explained that the pair are friends despite hailing from two different cities in their home state. That connection was on full display after the New Orleans boss took to Instagram Stories and sternly told Budden to back off from commenting on his young colleague.
“@JOEBUDDEN YOU F*KIN WITH SOMETHIN YOU SHOULD LEAVE ALONE,” read a portion of the message, which features an image of YoungBoy’s fiery response to Budden in which he also took a dig at the “Pump It Up” star’s sexual prowess along with telling Budden to not “rat” on him and inviting him to Gravedigger Mountain, which is presumably where the rapper lives in the Beehive State.
As one can imagine, NBA YoungBoy’s fanbase is giving Joe Budden the business due to the fact that he’s no longer an official Hip-Hop artist. Some on the other side are saying that because Budden was indeed nice in his day, he has a right to his opinion. Further, some are wondering why the opinion of a, in their words, failed rapper, has artists reacting in this fashion.

Boosie Badazz might be the first rapper to be told to “get over it” after someone blatantly stole his lyrics and hook for a song. After Rod Wave recorded and released the track “Long Journey” without giving Boosie any writing or publishing credit, the Lousiana rapper says he’s ready to get litigious with his younger peer.
In recent Instagram Live videos, Boosie Badazz explained that he and Rod Wave did try to work things out behind the scenes over the track “Long Journey,” which appears on Wave’s Nostalgia album. The track shares the same name as Boosie’s 2010 track and has the same chorus.
In one video, Boosie says he would’ve called off the suit for $200,000 and 25% in royalties going forward but Wave tried to talk Boosie down on the cost according to his account. Boosie also raised a fair point in saying that the use of the track and him speaking out from a legal standpoint made fans, quote, “choose sides.”

In another video, Boosie shares that he doesn’t own 100% of “Long Journey” but he does have songwriting and publishing credits on the track and just wants his fair share. The video below displays Boosie’s side of things.

The pushback from fans without law degrees is that they’re framing Boosie Badazz as trying to shake down Rod Wave for money he doesn’t deserve. Further, some are speculating that the label that put out Boosie’s “Long Journey” track might be pulling a fast one but that doesn’t explain if Wave and his producers actually cleared and paid for the use of the song and hook.

Roger Bonds, a former head of security for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was named in the explosive lawsuit brought by Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, has vowed to tell his side of the story. Bonds was named in Cassie’s lawsuit and seemingly backed up claims made by the singer in a recent video.
Roger Bonds, who worked with Diddy over a decade ago, took to his Instagram page on Tuesday (November 28) to share his side of the story. In Cassie’s lawsuit, Bonds was mentioned as the individual who stopped a violent moment between her and Combs. While Bonds never mentions Combs by name, he added that the incident named in the lawsuit was just one of many.

Bonds added in the description of the Instagram post that more details would emerge and it appears he is gearing up to release a  documentary or book as the hashtags for the post read “#2FacesTHEDOCUMENTARY” and “#ROGERBONDSMYTRUTH.”
After sharing the video and the potentially damning information within, it appears that Bonds has deleted his Instagram page for reasons unknown to us. Given the fact that Cassie settled the case one day after bringing the lawsuit to Diddy, it could be speculated that Bonds cannot legally speak on the case although, to our knowledge, he had no such agreement with Combs.
Below are some videos and replies obtained from X, formerly known as Twitter. One such reply makes mention of Bonds’ son, who was accused of murder in Africa, something Bonds addressed in a DJ Vlad interview over a year ago.
As more information about Roger Bonds becomes public, we’ll return with updates.

Ari Lennox comes across as one of the sweetest souls on the planet so we’re not understanding why someone would provoke her to anger by disrupting her set. During a performance, Ari Lennox had a water bottle tossed in her direction, prompting her to cuss out the person.
Ari Lennox is currently on tour with Rod Wave, and it can be assumed that the video footage going viral online at the moment was from one of the tour stops, although we’re not completely sure of the date. As it stands, Lennox, 32, was onstage in the middle of a song when a water bottle came crashing down in front of her.
Lennox immediately paused her set as security rushed to the stage to find the culprit, but the singer had plenty to say to the tosser in a very eloquent fashion. The tongue-lashing was, in a word, exquisite and very much passionate, with fans online noting that the DMV native went back to her roots.
We’ve seen before how fans tossing water at performers can work out negatively in their favor so we’re not sure what kind of moment the fan was having that they saw fit to do something that is sort of high-key dangerous. What if she tripped over the bottle and her herself, or what if it hit her in the face? All kinds of things could’ve gone wrong.
On X, formerly Twitter, Ari Lennox is seeing her name trend as the video of the moment continues to go wide. We’ve got the best reactions below.

The Pod Wars are never going to end, that is if we’re to believe there is still static between Joe Budden and his former co-hosts, Rory Farrell and Jamil “Mal” Clay. In the latest episode of New Rory & Mal, the hosts share their thoughts on Diddy and while they didn’t say it explicitly, it appears they may have taken a shot at Budden over ducking the topic.
To add context, Joe Budden and Sean “Diddy” Combs have a working relationship due to Budden’s work on the REVOLT network and Budden is known to speak favorably of the mogul on his eponymously named podcast. However, Budden put episode 676 of his program behind his Patreon paywall, which was reportedly edited to jump over the situation between Diddy and Cassie Ventura.

In episode 220 of New Rory & Mal, titled We’re Not Afraid To Talk About Diddy,” Rory and Mal didn’t hold back their thoughts and believed that anyone who kept mum about the case after all that was shared publicly might have something to hide.
[embedded content]
In fairness, in episode 677 of The Joe Budden Podcast, which was published Wednesday (November 22), Budden, and his co-hosts Parks, Ish, Flip, and Ice sans co-host Melyssa Ford did discuss the Diddy situation and from what we heard, the cast didn’t offer too strong of an opinion due to legal reasons according to Budden.
Again, it cannot be definitively stated that Rory and Mal took a shot at Budden as other broadcasters haven’t touched the case beyond reporting about the fact Ventura and Diddy settled the lawsuit last Friday after just one day of the allegations going public.
Budden, on his show, took notice of how the case might be affecting Diddy, mentioning a now-viral photo of the Bad Boy honcho appearing to be having a tough moment although nothing has been confirmed.

Rashad McCants, a former first-round NBA draft selection, is now enjoying a second career as a broadcaster who talks basketball and other matters. A clip of McCants is now going wide after the North Carolina native said that he believes Kevin Durant will go down as a better basketball player than LeBron James when it’s all said and done.
The statement in question came courtesy of the No Chill with Gilbert Arenas podcast with Rashad McCants comparing the career tracks of Kevin Durant, who turned 35 this past September, and LeBron James, who will be 39 this December.
In McCants’ view, “real hooper” to use his words would place KD over King James when it comes down to it. Both are definitely world-class basketball players with James having a championship advantage with four rings compared to Durant’s two rings. James is also the leading scorer of all-time in the NBA and showing no signs of slowing down as he leads the Los Angeles Lakers. Durant, currently playing for the Phoenix Suns, is still an explosive player capable of taking games as anyone else in the league.
Arenas didn’t push back heavily on McCants’ statement but did say something interesting about the NBA and the whispers some observers have shared that the league promotes different teams based on their market. Arenas said that the NBA thrives and makes more money when the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers are powerhouses.
There has to be more to this conversation as the clip never offers any manner of closure or following thoughts from Rashad McCants but on X, formerly known as Twitter, the segment of users known as NBA Twitter has plenty to say.
Also, to all the accounts trying to go viral off the clip, why not give those views to Arenas so he can keep feasting? That’s nasty work. We’ve added the clip of Arenas’ account below to help.

Jeff Teague, a former NBA player, has embarked on a new career as a broadcaster unbeknownst to those outside of his current audience. Now a host of the Club 520 podcast, Jeff Teague and his expert command of storytelling is on full display and he shared a hilarious Charles Oakley story that we’re still processing.
Teague, 35, left the league after a stint as a member of the 2020-21 Milwaukee Bucks, winning a championship in the process. With Club 520, now in its second season, Teague and his co-hosts Brandon Hendricks and DJ Wells cover basketball as expected but also pop culture points as well. The trio got into a spirited debate about Drake and Michael Jackson, with Teague calling the Canadian superstar a better vocalist than the late King of Pop.

However, the moment in the current episode of Club 520 that had fans talking was the Oakley tale. During Teague’s rookie season with the Atlanta Hawks, he was paired up with former NBA big man Tyrone Hill for training. Teague then explains that former NBA player Duane Farrell came into the gym and alerted him that Hill owed Oakley some money.
True to the legend that is Oakley, Teague says Oak began flinging basketballs with pinpoint accuracy towards Hill, demanding his overdue funds. Trust us, the way we’re telling it here isn’t as funny as hearing Teague’s version.
Check out the Club 520 podcast below and hop to the 30:00-minute mark. We encourage readers to watch the entire episode as it’s great content on its own.

Snoop Dogg has moved far beyond his familiar Hip-Hop environs and is perhaps one of the most recognizable celebrities in the world, leveraging that fame to become a pitchman for the ages. The Long Beach legend duped his legion of fans after claiming to be going smokeless, which was a ruse to promote a new smokeless fire pit, Solo Stove.
On November 16, Snoop Dogg shared a post on his popular Instagram account claiming that he was “giving up smoke” and asking his fans, family, and friends to respect his privacy. As most are aware, Snoop is known for indulging in the sticky green leaf which has become a part of his identity just like his effortless charm. Even then, some suspected that the Death Row Records honcho would pull some manner of a switcheroo.

On Monday (November 20), the proverbial cat was let out of the bag and what was revealed is that Snoop is hawking a new product, Solo Stove, which offers a fire pit solution sans smoke. If you’re into the outdoors like we are, then you’re aware of how the smoke from the pit can get into your clothes, hair, and lungs. Solo Stove eliminates the smoke without compromising the blaze.
“I love a good fire outside but the smoke was too much. Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family,” Snoop shared in a statement.
“We’re stoked to have a product so good, it even inspired Snoop to go smokeless. As the most popular smokeless fire pit in the world, Solo Stove is all about bringing people together and creating a vibe that encourages you to sit back, relax, and enjoy your time with friends and family. Snoop, like Solo, is about good moments, and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more people to the Solo Stove family,” John Merris, CEO of Solo Brands, added.
Snoop and Solo Stove have a new bundle package that went on sale Monday. The Limited Edition Bonfire Snoop Dogg Collaboration features a Bonfire Fire Pit designed by the D-O-Double-G, a fire pit stand, a bucket hat, and a Snoop and Solo sticker pack in case you want people to know how smokeless you’re keeping in the cooler months. The bundle retails for $349.99.

Boosie and Rod Wave represent Hip-Hop at differing generational points and it appeared that the two may have been crossing into some avoidable static. Boosie is reportedly considering a lawsuit against Rod Wave over the uncleared use of one of his songs.
For those unaware, Rod Wave, who has had several high-charting singles and projects since his career boomed in 2018, released his latest album Nostalgia this past September. The album features the track “Long Journey,” the same title of a Boosie Badazz song of the same name that was released in 2010 via the rapper’s Incarcerated album.
Wave’s hook is identical to the original and it’s clear where the Florida rapper got his inspiration.
From Rod Wave’s “Long Journey”:
Dear God, I thank You for (I thank You)Everything You gave to us, uhYou kept them devils away from us, uhAnd You finally made a way for us, so I sayDear God, I thank You for (I thank You)Everything You gave to us, uhYou kept them devils away from us, uhAnd You finally made a way for us, I say
Amazingly, fans of Wave are targeting Boosie and calling him out of his name for demanding royalties for artists using his song. He had a similar issue with Kodak Black in recent times and even said in a now-viral clip that the artists are often using the exact song titles as was the case for Wave.

Rod Wave caught wind of Boosie’s demands and shared a video to social media saying that he’ll pay the cost as long as the number isn’t crazy.

Check out the reactions from all sides below. We also posted the songs in question below as well.
