NBC News is facing a public revolt by its on-air personalities including Rachel Maddow over the hiring of former RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel.
The hiring of Ronna McDaniel, the former Republican National Committee chairwoman by NBC News and Comcast last week has caused a visible backlash, becoming more apparent as several of the on-air personalities made it a point to decry her hiring, with its star anchor Rachel Maddow expressing her displeasure on her show Monday night (March 25).
“I want to associate myself with all my colleagues, both at MSNBC and NBC News, who have voiced loud and principled objections to our company putting on the payroll someone who hasn’t just attacked us as journalists, but someone who is part of an ongoing project to get rid of our system of government,” she during the 29-minute opening monologue. “Someone who still is trying to convince Americans that this election stuff, it doesn’t really work.” Maddow would implore her bosses to reconsider. “It is a sign of strength, not weakness, to acknowledge when you are wrong,” she said, adding: “It is a sign of strength. And our country needs us to be strong now.”
McDaniel resigned as the head of the RNC at the behest of the presumptive nominee and former President Donald Trump. McDaniel has been under fire for parroting his false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. When appearing on Meet The Press with host Kristin Welker on Sunday (March 24), McDaniel seemed to walk that back. “Fair and square, he won,” Ms. McDaniel replied when asked about the election by Welker, but adding, “I do think it’s fair to say there were problems in 2020.” That led to Chuck Todd denouncing the decision in a post-segment panel. Reportedly, McDaniel is set to earn $300,000 in the deal. Numerous employees at NBC News and MSNBC have also reportedly expressed their outrage at McDaniel’s hiring.
Maddow would also be joined by Lawrence O’Donnell of The Last Word, capping off an entire day of rebuke that began with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, stating that McDaniel would not be on their program as a “paid contributor.” That sentiment was echoed by Joy Reid, Jen Psaki, and Nicole Wallace who said the hiring “wittingly or unwittingly” was a signal to election deniers of the approval of McDaniel’s past actions. There has been no public comment from MSNBC boss Rashida Jones, NBC News Chairman Cesar Conde, or McDaniel.

Just a few years into his career, DaBaby went from one of the biggest rappers in the game to one of the most polarizing figures in pop culture whether it be for his physical altercations or controversial statements made on stage. Still, the man continues to do his thing albeit with less fanfare than before and judging from his videos, he could care less how you feel about him because he’s gonna live it up one way or another.
Such is the case for his latest visual to “Wonder Woman” in which the Southern rapper shows his baby boy how to turn up when surrounded by a gang of women before DB takes to the nightclub to make it rain on the thick talent in attendance. DaBaby do love himself some thick women.
Davido meanwhile seems to be living it up himself and in his clip for “Away” the Nigerian crooner hits the road and visits exotic places where he enjoys some water sports and big boy yachts alongside his friends and fam. We all wish we had that one homie that made it big and took us on tour with them.

A few weeks ago, J. Cole teased his triumphant return when he dropped a new verse that had social media buzzing. Last night, the MC from NC once again gave his day-ones something to chirp about as he offered up a second serving of what he’s been cooking in the kitchen.
With his next album The Fall Off set to drop sometime soon, J. Cole dropped off some gritty visuals for “Might Delete Later, Vol. 2” in which the rapper bikes it through the city on some humble sh*t while spitting his verse and looking like an everyday civilian just enjoying a day out on the town. The average person would never think this man is one of the most famous rappers in the Hip-Hop game.
On the R&B tip, Rod Wave seems to be enjoying the life he’s built for himself, and in his Toosii-assisted clip to “Me And You,” the plus-sized crooner shows how he pushes everything from cars to bikes to jet skis as he spends time with his family while wifey polishes up his pricey gold chain collection.
Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Joyner Lucas featuring Jelly Roll, Jade Malone, and more.

Joe Budden might feel that the “girl rap” wave of this era might be coming to a close, but Cardi B must’ve not gotten the memo because she’s back out here putting in that work and giving her millions of fans something to rock and bop to.
Weeks after dropping a new cut in “Like What,” the Bronx bomber returns with some more new work in “Enough (Miami).” For it’s visuals the newly single rapper is showing everyone what she’s working with now that she’s back on the market. Aside from showing off her amazing physique in numerous outfits and barely-there attire, Cardi drops bars that aren’t just well thought-out but demonstrate the confidence she has in herself. “I’m litty, I’m pretty, I’m running the city/I’m sh*ttin’ on b*tches in every department/This ass will have your d*ck like peanut butter and b*tches is jelly about it!” Cardi raps.
Can’t be mad at that.
While we know Cardi’s been dropping off new work to prep fans for her long-awaited follow-up LP to her 2019 Grammy Award-winning debut album, Invasion of Privacy, Cardi’s still hasn’t confirmed when that sophomore album would be releasing. She has, however, said it will be this year. Her fans are patiently waiting.
Check out the visuals to “Enough (Miami)” below, and let us know your thoughts on the visuals and the song itself in the comments section.

Karrueche Tran isn’t the first entertainer to take to OnlyFans to profit off their looks and certainly won’t be the last. The actress and popular media figure took to social media to hit back at critics who slammed her for starting an OnlyFans for her feet.
Karrueche Tran, 35, caused a stir online after sharing a photo promoting her OnlyFans page which is aptly named @karruechesfeet. As a result, folks online began crowding her mentions blasting the decision to sell feet content, but Tran was unphased. Some fans began calling her desperate for money but Tran sees the opportunity differently.
“LOL at all the comments regarding OF,” Tran shared on Tuesday (March 12) in a tweet that has been deleted. “I’m not going broke..just a smart play.”
She added, “Foot fetish is the number one fetish in the world. There’s nothing sexual that will be on my page. It’s literally my feet and if people are willing to pay, what’s the problem?”
She has a point.

Former Mar-a-Lago valet Brian Butler came forward to reveal being a source for the indictment against Donald Trump and why he feels he is unfit for office.
On Monday night (March 11), CNN aired an exclusive interview with Brian Butler, a former valet at the Mar-a-Lago estate of former president Donald Trump in South Florida. Butler spoke about his role as the key source of information for Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump, saying that his former boss is unfit to be president again.

Butler, who’s referred to as “Trump Employee 5” in the indictment, worked at the estate as a club valet, manager, and chauffeur along with valet Walt Nauta and property manager Carlos De Oliveira (Both men are currently facing criminal charges along with Trump). Butler spoke to CNN’s Kaitlin Collins about Trump sharing classified information about submarines with Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt, and how Pratt repeated that information to his chief-of-staff as Butler was driving them. He also told Collins he had no idea he was helping to move sensitive information. “For me, I’m just thinking, eh, the former president, he has a lot of stuff he likes to lug around with him,” Butler said, referring to moving the “10 to 15” white bankers boxes of information stored in various places at Mar-a-Lago which Smith cites in the indictment.
Collins asked Butler if he felt Trump was a security risk, to which Butler responded: “I personally would just say I just don’t believe that he should be a presidential candidate at this time. I think it’s time to move on.” When pressed on if he was “concerned”, the 41-year-old replied, “Yeah, absolutely. I think we can do better.” Butler also criticized Trump’s defense in the case as “bogus”. “To me, you have the ‘law and order’ president attacking agents, the special counsel on almost a daily basis, when these people are just taking their sworn oath—they took a sworn oath to basically follow the laws of this country. And now you have somebody attacking them. I don’t think that’s right.”
Butler also spoke about the end of his and De Oliveira’s 20-year friendship, blaming Trump for that division. “Nobody should have to go through that. And for him (Trump) to get up there all the time and say the things he says about this being a witch hunt and everything. … He just can’t take responsibility for anything,” he said.

Donald Trump had plenty to say about Jimmy Kimmel’s Oscars hosting—but the comedian had the last laugh, responding in real-time.
On Sunday night (March 10) the 96th Academy Awards were coming to a close. Comedian and late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel served as the host of the grand event at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, and he began to thank the audience. “This show is not about me, and I appreciate you having me. It’s really about you, and Emma, and all these great actors and actresses and filmmakers, but I was told we had like an extra minute, and I’m really proud of something, and I was wondering if I could share it with you. I just got a review and ummm…,” Kimmel said before reading a Truth Social post from former President Donald Trump about him.
“Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars,” the post said. “His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be. Get rid of Kimmel and perhaps replace him with another washed up, but cheap, ABC ‘talent,’ George Slopanopoulos. He would make everybody on stage look bigger, stronger, and more glamorous. Blah. Blah. Blah. Make America Great Again.” Kimmel paused as the crowd laughed. “See if you can guess which former president just posted that on Truth Social. Anyone? No? Well thank you President Trump. Thank you for watching. I’m surprised you’re still up. Isn’t it past your jail time?”, Kimmel retorted. The Oscars crowd broke into heavy laughter and applause after Kimmel’s jab.
Kimmel revealed that he had been advised not to read Trump’s post on Truth Social during an interview with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Monday morning (March 11). “They’re like, ‘You’ve got a little bit of time’ and I was like, ‘I’m reading the Trump tweet,’ and they’re like, ‘No, no, don’t read that,’” he said. He didn’t specify the person in particular who told him that he couldn’t read the post, but Kimmel replied: “[I was like] ‘Yes I am.’”
It’s not the first time that Kimmel has verbally smacked down the former president concerning the Oscars. Back in 2018, Trump posted “Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY,” the morning after that year’s show on Twitter, also hosted by Kimmel. “Problem is, we don’t have Stars anymore – except your President (just kidding, of course)!” Kimmel fired back: “Thanks, lowest-rated President in HISTORY. “
