Coach Prime hasn’t coached a game at Colorado yet, but his tenure is off to a rocky start, at least public-wise. His latest comments aren’t helping his case either.
Since his controversial exit from Jackson State University, Deion Sanders has been making his rounds gearing up for this coaching debut at Colorado, hoping he can bring the same energy he had at JSU to the fledgling Buffaloes, who have not been relevant in quite some time but when the season does begin all eyes will be on them to see if Coach Prime can deliver and prove his coaching skills will translate at a D1 school.
During Super Bowl weekend Sanders stopped by the Rich Eisen Show and shared his recruiting philosophy, which is not sitting well with people.
So What Exactly Did Deion Sanders Say?
Well, what’s rubbing many the wrong way, including former NFL players, was Coach Prime’s mental breakdown when it comes to recruiting quarterbacks and other position players like defensive linemen eluding that he prefers his QBs to come from two-parent households and DLs to come from single-parent households because they are hungrier due to their struggle.
“Well, we have different attributes. Smart, tough, fast, disciplined with character. Now, quarterbacks are different,” Sanders told Rich Eisen. “We want mother, father. Dual parent. We want that kid to be 3.5 [GPA] and up because he has to be smart. Not bad decisions off the field at all. Because he has to be a leader of men.”
“Defensive linemen is totally opposite,” said Sanders as he went even deeper into his flawed and racist philosophy. “Single mama, trying to get it, he’s on free lunch,” Sanders added. “I’m talking about just trying to make it. He’s trying to rescue mama. Like mama barely made the flight. And I want him to just go get it. “It’s a whole different attribute that you look for in different positions. And we have that stuff just chronicled. We know what we want, and we go get it.”

Whether Coach Prime and his recruiting methods were serious or just a joke is unknown, but as noted above, they are not going over well with Black folks.
ESPN NFL analyst Marcus Spears was not feeling Coach Prime’s comments writing in a tweet, “this shit ain’t funny.”
“This is very problematic, and not funny. Notice who is laughing the loudest. Respect for his game/record, but this is full of stereotypes and juvenile thinking. He’s dissing his *own* players,” another tweet read.
Welp.
Coach Prime has yet to respond to the criticism. You can see more reactions in the gallery below.

The Shade Room cemented itself as one of the top celebrity gossip hubs in the vast space of such content, but they’re getting a bit of pushback from fans at the moment. After the social media page of The Shade Room posted then deleted an image of Doja Cat wearing a devil outfit, they doubled down with a message about faith causing fans to react on Twitter.
Salute to Pop Crave for catching the moment that apparently happened earlier Friday morning (Feb. 24). In the tweet below, Doja Cat’s sultry photo was reportedly shared on Shade Room’s Instagram page and taken down.
Shortly after, the popular page posted an image featuring the words, “I will never be ashamed of my faith” with the caption reading, “If you want to know what side of faith we stand on, we stand for God. We stand for Jesus. If you do too, throw up your [praying hands emoji] in the comments – #ToBeClear #NotAshamed #GoodMorning #MorningInspiration #John316.”
What isn’t readily clear is if the message The Shade Room shared was in connection to the Doja Cat photo or just part of the brand’s usual content flow but most fans on Twitter found the statement to be contradictory considering what content is usually covered by the page. Further, this adds fuel to a growing rumor that famed church leader TD Jakes either owns or is connected to the brand.
Without passing judgment, plenty of sites operate under the same pattern that Shade Room undertakes but few have been as successful as the brand. As it stands, folks are really letting the page have it online and it doesn’t look like it’s letting up anytime soon.
We’ve gathered some of the reactions to the page’s faith-based post below. Also, we’ve added the photos of Doja Cat too.

Apparently, comedian, actor, and former Richard Nixon speechwriter Ben Stein is still pressed about Quaker Oats updating the historically racist Aunt Jemima brand and replacing it with a racially neutral and far less mammy-era-inspired brand, because conservative white people in America just really love their anti-Black nostalgia despite their insistence that America was not founded on racism.
Recently, Stein posted a video of himself reminiscing over the good old days when racist imagery on consumer products was no big deal (to white people) and no one (who was white) complained about it.
“Aunt Jemima yummy pancake syrup,” Stein said while holding a Pearl Mining Company bottle, which is Aunt Jemima’s new brand. “Now, this used to show a large African American woman chef. Because of the inherent racism of America’s corporate culture, they decided to make it a white person or maybe no person at all. But I prefer it when it was a Black person showing their incredible skill making pancakes.”
Stein appeared to mock the idea of “inherent racism” in America, while, you know, passionately expressing his love for a symbol derived from American racism. But the real question is—why is he still so salty about a decision made two years ago that he’s going out of his way to get himself dragged by the fine folks on Twitter like this?
At the end of the day, white people like Stein show off their privilege when they debate about whether or not racist imagery should be preserved they just love their various odes to Black subjugation, whether it’s a confederate monument or a racist syrup bottle. White people, including politicians, are still, in the 21st century, using “Aunt Jemima” as a slur against Black women. But folks like Stein haven’t experienced that, so, for them, it’s as simple as a “woke agenda” run amok.
Even Black folks who didn’t necessarily have a problem with the Aunt Jemima brand should take issue with white people who believe their racist traditions should trump our lived experiences. Because that’s exactly how white supremacy works.
Or, whatever, maybe it’s just syrup.

It’s not really a list if it doesn’t get people in their feelings. Case in point, Ja Rule took to Twitter to drag Billboard after noting he didn’t make the cut in its 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list.
Regardless of Ja’s beef, the list was already causing a stir due to some suspect choices. For example, in what universe does Andre 3000 come in at 12 only to be followed by Rakim at 13 and Big Daddy Kane at 20? Sure it’s Billboard, and VIBE, so the context includes charts and sales, but that means 3 Stacks has a solid beef since him and OutKast moved big units and were chart darlings.
Anyway, as for Ja Rule not cracking the top 50 isn’t exactly a top priority in rap debates, but the Queens rapper nevertheless took issue.
“There ain’t 50 rappers dead, alive or waiting to be born better than me… #ICONN #Vibes,” wrote Ja on Twitter on Thursday (Feb. 9). “@billboard congrats to everyone on the list well deserved but check my resume… #ICONN #Vibes.”
Now Ja does have a gang of major hits, but Hip-Hop itself is 50 years old and that’s a lot of great MC’s, regardless of sales and chart placement. Just saying.
Rule eventually added, “This the last thing I’m gonna say about the list… I’m pissed cause this was not an oversight it’s statistically IMPOSSIBLE to comprise this list without me so my question to @billboard who records these stats is what went into the decision to leave me off??? Just curious…”
Conspiracy theories aside, Billboard‘s list was revealed via countdown, with Jay-Z ultimately coming in at no. 1. Twitter has been debating the validity of the list ever since it full dropped. Check out some of the more passionate reactions in the gallery.

Many Twitter users were experiencing bizarre issues that made the social media platform unusable.
Elon Musk’s Twitter is an absolute mess, and users let bootleg Tony Stark know it. Wednesday afternoon, around 4:45 pm, per the New York Times reporting, Twitter’s core features, like direct messages and tweets, were not working for many users for several hours.
Around 6:30 pm, Twitter acknowledged the issues and said it was working to fix the issues in a tweet. “Twitter may not be working as expected for some of you. Sorry for the trouble. We’re aware and working to get this fixed,” the company’s support account said.
While some users could send tweets, others got a message incorrectly telling them they were “over the daily limit for sending Tweets.” Even retweets were not working when users attempted to send one, and they would get this “Sorry! You’ve have exceeded your Tweet limit. Try retweet again tomorrow” message.
The ability to follow accounts was also not working for many. Rex Chapman and many others shared the issue on their timelines.
Was This Done On Purpose?
The Hollywood Reporter reports the company is limiting users to 2,400 tweets a day, significantly impacting businesses and individual accounts.
Per THR:
The company, under Elon Musk, is now placing limits to the number of direct messages and tweets that a user can send per day, according to a page on Twitter’s Help Center site. The daily tweet limit is 2,400, but the site notes, “the daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals.” Retweets also count toward that limit.
In response to the THR report, the company claims, “The “limits” mentioned in the article are not new, and were not just implemented today. They have been the policy since 2019 on Twitter.”
Regardless of what they say, there is no denying after Elon Musk reluctantly acquired the platform for $44 billion, it’s been a hot mess, and users are letting him know that.

Look at him now. Chris Brown took to Instagram to stunt on us and show his massive clothing collection, and folks were not impressed.
The 33-year-old singer hopped on the gram to take us on a tour of his “department store” he had to build on his property to house the massive collection of clothes he has accumulated over the years.
“Department store outside of my house, let me show y’all what this look like,” Brown said to the camera as he turned the focus to all of the racks full of coats and blazers inside the white warehouse-style building.
It appears the “Fine China” singer has hundreds and thousands of hoodies and shirts that he has no room for in his posh home, telling viewers, “I got drip man, come and see me.”
While he thought he was flexing on us, some people in The Shaderooom’s comment section. “It might be Drip but it’s organized like Marshalls …,” one follower said in response.
“Chris That’s A lot clothes but get somebody to organize all that stuff, It’s giving Burlington Coat Factory vibes or Walmart after on Black Friday vibes. S—t just all over the place,” another follower wrote.
Keeping with it giving discount department store vibes, “thought it would look like a Gucci store it’s giving tj maxx gold collection … it needs some organising.”
As expected, Twitter also had thoughts on Chris Brown hoarding so much clothing. You can see those reactions in the gallery below.

DJ Akademiks is who he is. The social media influencer’s latest outrage-inducing behavior includes coming for Blueface and slandering the rapper’s finances and girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, in the process.
From what we gather, Blueface offered up Akademiks the fade. The invitation was caused by Akademiks saying on his Off The Record podcast that no rapper has ever truly stepped to him, and that he was ready for the smoke, especially from Lil Baby.
Or it could have been when Ak said Blueface’s crib was in foreclosure. And that’s when Blueface decided to offer up the hands and feet.
Of course, this led to Akademiks sending a call out for the identities of 10 people who allegedly slept with Chrisean. This stems from Blueface’s own allegations that she slept around, thus his desire for a paternity test after she announced she was pregnant with his child.
Yeah, the struggle is elite right now.
But really, most people watching from the outside see this as another opportunity to pile on to Akademiks, who became the most hated man in Hip-Hop, although he certainly has a legion of supporters. Or maybe just hate watchers?
Either way, peep some of the latest slanders aimed at Ak in the gallery.
Let’s keep it strictly to words, alright fellas. Also, it’s a guarantee that Chrisean will just go straight to violence if she ever catches Ak in these streets.

One thing you don’t mess with is people’s money, and Bank of America is feeling the heat from some customers.
Wednesday, Jan.18, PIX 11 reports that some Bank of America customers are worried after noticing money was missing from their accounts and have taken to social media to voice their anger.
“Saw Bank of America was trending and turns out my account was impacted so happy Wednesday everyone,” one person tweeted.
“I am at the point of a collapse. where is my money?” another Twitter user said.
ABC 7 Chicago reports that at least one person claims their entire bank account was “wiped clean.”
The Daily Mail says some customers are complaining about funds being missing from deposits and Zelle transactions and that customers calling Bank of America are not getting any answers from the financial institution.
Some customers are saying they got a message telling them “Zelle transactions made between Saturday and Tuesday would be delayed.”
The Zelle issue, according to Twitter user @YepItsZak, is also affecting Chase and other institutions.
The company has not issued a statement on its social media accounts addressing customers’ concerns. It has responded to one customer in a tweet:
“Hello. We noticed that we’re currently engaging via DM and will continue to connect with you there. ^justin.”
Currently, the financial institution is trending for the wrong reasons, with Twitter users trashing the bank and wondering why people are still banking with them.
“Y’all still using Bank of America after that overdraft class action and their predatory lending history? Porque?” one Twitter user wondered.
Leave it to Twitter to find humor is some people’s pain. You can see more reactions in the gallery below.

A popular Tik Tok food slinger, is getting dragged for all the filth after some heinous tweets he dropped years ago resurfaced. The hateful messages from Chef Way has the guy on the brink of cancelation, and he has no one to blame but himself.
The man born Waymond Wesley is getting deep fried on social media after misogynistic tweets he let loose back around 2014 and 2015 resurfaced (the user name at the time was WayMoTheGod), and it’s looking ugly, for him. The tweets featured hateful, colorist messages aimed at Black women in particular.
Of course, you knew the too little, too late, you only did it because you got caught apology was forthcoming.
“To those I’ve hurt with my past tweets that have resurfaced, I am deeply sorry,” he tweeted. “That was a moment in my life where I was sick in more ways than one. Cooking saved me. You have watched a flawed man heal. I will continue to heal and learn. Thanks for being along for the journey.”
But Chef Way’s suspect, cooking healed me apology and only added gas to the fire, and now he is getting fried.
Even the guy’s momma took to Twitter to call out her son’s tomfoolery.
It also turns out that Chef Way is a prosecutor with the Harris County DA’s office in Tecas, and there are calls for his firing (which hasn’t happened).
After the well-deserved backlash, brands affiliated with Chef Way started canceling their reservations…sorry, too easy.
Check out more of the slander being hurled in Chef Way’s direction in the gallery. Should he be shown some grace, or is he getting all he deserves? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Yes, we’re over the Will Smith slap, but dammit, we can’t be mad at a well-timed joke about it from the GOAT, Eddie Murphy.
Only Eddie Murphy could mention the infamous slap seen worldwide into 2023, and it not be a cringeworthy moment. The legendary stand-up comedian /actor made a joke about the moment Will Smith slapped Chris Rock while delivering his speech after accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award during Wednesday night’s Golden Globe Awards.
Murphy, the elder statesman in his craft, gave the Hollywood newbies in the building some sound advice to close out his speech.
“I want to let you know that there is a definitive blueprint that you can follow to achieve success, prosperity, longevity, and piece of mind,” Murphy began. “It’s a blueprint, and I’ve followed it my whole career. It’s very simple. There’s three things: Pay your taxes, mind your business, and keep Will Smith’s wife’s name out your f–cking mouth.”
Twitter Loved The Eddie Murphy Moment
The joke became an instant viral moment on Twitter, with viewers praising Murphy for his knack of knowing when to drop a well-timed joke that no one was expecting.
“Eddie Murphy would be the only person to make a Will Smith joke that was actually funny LOL,” journalist Sylvia Obell wrote in a tweet.
But if you think that was some shade towards Will Smith or his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, pump your breaks. He loves the couple, noting he did work with Pinkett speaking with Entertainment Tonight in an interview following the awards show.
If you were one of those people wondering if Eddie Murphy still got it, he answered your question, proving that he can still pull a joke out of nowhere.
