FanDuel is teaming up with Spotify this year for its annual Super Bowl party, with Calvin Harris and Kid Cudi announced as the headliners, Billboard can exclusively announce.
The 2024 FanDuel Super Bowl Party Powered by Spotify — which will be held at LIV inside the Strip’s newest resort, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, on Friday night, Feb. 9 — is the company’s third annual Super Bowl event and will feature a live recording of The Ringer Gambling Show podcast with hosts John “JJ” Jastremski, Raheem Palmer and “Cousin Sal” Iacono.
Last month, Calvin Harris broke the record for the most No. 1s in the 20-year history of Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, as his Eliza Rose collaboration “Body Moving” rose to the top of the ranking dated Jan. 13. He earned his 14th Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart-topper, breaking out of a tie with David Guetta. On Jan. 12, Kid Cudi released his ninth studio album, Insano, which features collabs with Travis Scott, ASAP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Pharrell Williams, the late XXXTentacion, Lil Wayne and Young Thug. The project debuted at No. 4 on the Top Rap Albums chart dated Jan. 27.
Since 2021, FanDuel has been the exclusive sports betting partner of Spotify sports and pop culture podcast network The Ringer. This Super Bowl party further cements the two companies’ partnership, which expanded in 2023 to encompass content produced for FanDuel TV, including the shows Beyond the Arc with Kevin O’Connor and Through The Ringer with Tate Frazier.
The event comes just two days before Super Bowl LVIII at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Sunday (Feb. 11), where the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers for the championship. It was announced in September that Usher would headline the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. Usher also announced that his ninth album, Coming Home, will arrive on Super Bowl Sunday. This set marks his first new album since 2016’s Hard II Love, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.

Cardi B is coming to a screen near you – and you best believe her lips will be shiny and plump. NYX announced Thursday (Feb. 1) that the rapper will star in its Super Bowl ad on game day, promoting one of the brand’s latest lip products in what will mark her first ever beauty […]
Make it so! It’s Sir Patrick Stewart to the rescue with a little bit of help from Creed in Paramount+‘s 2024 Super Bowl ad, which arrived on Thursday (Feb. 1).
In the streamer’s third Super Bowl ad, Stewart, who is known for portraying Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Picard — along with a host of other stars whose shows can be seen on Paramount+, including Drew Barrymore (The Drew Barrymore Show), Jeff Probst (Survivor), Arnold (Hey Arnold!) and Peppa Pig — find themselves stuck in a snow-covered canyon on Paramount Mountain. That’s when the boss of the USS Enterprise steps up to try to save the day.
When Barrymore shoots down Stewart’s idea to throw Arnold and his football-shaped head to the top of the cliff, the actor snipes in his impeccable English accent, “Barrymore! Shut your face … unless you prefer to freeze to death!”
“I’m not gonna throw a kid,” Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa insists.
That’s when Stewart takes matters into his own hands. He rips off his warm winter coat to reveal the old-school football uniform and declares he’ll throw Arnold himself. The music kicks in, and the camera pans over to none other than Creed, who are ready to rock out on a small ledge.
The Star Trek star then picks up Arnold as if the animated character were a football, and starts to mix up his sports. “We need a hole in one before the seventh stretch,” he says. As Creed frontman Scott Stapp begins to belt out the chorus to the band’s Billboard Hot 100 hit (it peaked at No. 7 in 2000), Stewart makes the throw — and begins singing along with Stapp.
“I just threw him hiiiigher,” the celebrated actor croons, “to a place where we won’t freeze.” (And that’s when a well-placed “Creed” tattoo makes its appearance!)
Arnold also joins in on the song, singing, “He just threw me hiii–” and slams face first into the side of the cliff. Watch the full Paramount+ Super Bowl ad above.
The Kansas City Chiefs are set to face off against the San Francisco 49ers on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 11) at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and airs on CBS, and also livestreams on Paramount+. Usher is set to perform during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, but Taylor Swift has been stealing the thunder as of late. The pop superstar may be in attendance at the big game to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce, who is the Chiefs’ tight end.
Son of a …! Jelly Roll‘s not too happy when he realizes he has a lot of permanent art on his face in Uber Eats’ 2024 Super Bowl ad, and Billboard has a first look at the “Need a Favor” singer’s spot set to debut on game day (Feb. 11). In the 15-second teaser, the […]

The current king of the Billboard Hot 100 is making his way to Las Vegas. Jack Harlow will headline the h.wood Homecoming party on Saturday night (Feb. 10) of Super Bowl Weekend in Sin City, Billboard can exclusively announce. The party will also include DJ sets from Kaytranada and Zack Bia.
The previously announced h.wood Homecoming party for Friday night will include performances from David Guetta and Future.
The Friday and Saturday night parties will take place in a custom-built pop-up venue on the Las Vegas Strip, adjacent to the Fashion Show Mall.
It’s perfect timing for Harlow to mount a celebratory concert, as his “Lovin On Me” lands a fourth nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this week, scoring his longest reign on the chart so far among his three leaders. “First Class” ruled for three weeks in April-May 2022, and he also reigned with Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby” for one week in October 2021.
Harlow’s performance will be joined by a DJ set from Grammy-winning producer/artist Kaytranada as well as music exec/producer Zack Bia.
The pair of parties precede the 2024 Super Bowl, which goes down Sunday (Feb. 11) between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will feature a halftime show from Usher.
This marks the third year that Los Angeles-based hospitality and lifestyle marketing company The h.wood Group has teamed with Uncommon Entertainment for h.wood Homecoming parties around Super Bowl, starting in 2022 in L.A. followed by 2023 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Both of those events included performances by Drake.
Friday night’s party is presented by Taco Bell, and sponsors include REVOLVE, MTN DEW BAJA BLAST, GHOST ENERGY, Crown Royal and NYX Professional Makeup. Saturday night’s sponsors include Taco Bell, REVOLVE, MTN DEW BAJA BLAST, GHOST ENERGY, Crown Royal and NYX Professional Makeup. Both nights are hosted in partnership with REVOLVE. The pop-up venue will include a Taco Bell Lounge that will offer late-night bites “and all of the vibes,” according to a press release announcing the event.

In the span of a few short years, reigning CMA entertainer of the year Lainey Wilson has lit up television screens as part of the hit television series Yellowstone, on awards show stages, and in her own music videos. But on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 11), Wilson will get one of her biggest television spotlights yet, thanks to a cameo in the upcoming Coors Light Super Bowl ad, which will feature the return of the Coors Light Chill Train, and Billboard has an exclusive behind-the-scenes photo above.
“I think my family’s going to freak out when they see me on a commercial during the Super Bowl,” Wilson tells Billboard. “It was such a dream to be in my first big game day and just help reintroduce the Coors Light iconic Chill Train to bring a little bit of that chill that everybody needs. We need that chill out from time to time.”
Wilson is highlighted in the ad, in a scene that features the singer-songwriter in the middle of a photo shoot when the Coors Light Chill Train whizzes by, leaving Wilson in the frost.
“I was doing a photo shoot with my old trusty guitar and a horse that Coors Light hooked me up with,” says Wilson, who filmed her cameo at Los Angeles’ Paramount Studio. “We had some really cool frosted makeup effects and we got to do a lot of fake snow in my hair and eyelashes and stuff. I got to do something that I’ve never done and got to be creative in different kind of ways, which is always fun for me.”
Wilson’s cameo in the Coors Light Super Bowl ad is part of a larger, multi-year partnership between the musician and Coors Light, which will also serve as the official partner for her 2024 Country’s Cool Again tour, which launches May 31 at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.
Wilson will get to see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in person this year when she attends the game in Las Vegas.
“I’m excited to see me some [Super Bowl Halftime Show performer] Usher, and I’m excited for the game, too,” she said. “This is my second year to ever go to the Super Bowl, and any time you get invited to go to the Super Bowl, you go. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I’m getting to go with some of my friends and other artists. It’s going to be a party.”
Speaking of parties, Wilson also dished on some of her favorite Super Bowl party snacks.
“I’m from Louisiana, so we’re going to keep it spicy and then cool it down with a bit of Coors Light. I love jalapeño poppers, the jalapeños with the cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. I could eat my weight in those, and then some good chips and salsa, some queso — anything with a little kick in it.”
As for which team Wilson might be rooting for during the Super Bowl, she quips, “Oh Lord have mercy. I’m going to be wearing red either way, right? I will say I did get to meet [Chiefs players] Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. They came to a show of mine last summer and they’re really great people. So, if I had to root for somebody, it might be them.”
Not only will fans see Wilson in the new Super Bowl ad, they can be part of it, too. The new Coors Light Super Bowl spot will also harness the power of CGI, allowing 100 “passengers” to “book” a seat on the Coors Light Chill Train — including seats next to Wilson. Coors Light will release an extended “slo-mo” version of the ad online on game day so that viewers can see all 100 passengers on board as the Coors Light Chill Train rolls by. Coors Light will open up new batches of seats for booking daily at 1 p.m. ET through Friday, Feb. 2, at coorslightchilltrain.com. Once a “passenger” confirms a seat, they can upload a photo of themselves, which will be dropped into the advertisement through CGI. Passengers who secure a seat will also receive an official contract, $500 in talent fees for being in the spot and limited-edition commemorative swag.
Prior to launching her Country’s Cool Again tour, Wilson will head to Australia and Europe for a run of shows. She has also been in the studio working on new music, saying, “I feel like I’m always writing for the next record, and I’m so excited about the stuff we are working on now.”
Given the success of not only her solo hits, but her collabs with artists including Jelly Roll (their Grammy-nominated track “Save Me”) and HARDY (the multiple CMA Award-winning “Wait in the Truck”), Wilson says she’s hopeful her next project will feature some collabs, too.
“I’m excited to have some collaborations of my own, hopefully,” Wilson says. “Fingers crossed, we can get it all worked out, but the more the merrier. I’m all about collaborating.”
