New product alert! From Reddit to TikTok, fans are already “obsessed” with Rare Beauty’s new lip oil and it hasn’t even dropped yet.

Selena Gomez showcased some of her beauty line’s Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil on TikTok on Wednesday (March 29). “SO excited for you all to try our newest member of @rarebeauty,” she captioned the video adding, “[p.s.] there are 8 shades!”

The post has been viewed five million times thus far and wracked up nearly a million likes with more than 13 thousand comments. TikTokers seem to be loving the lip oil, according to several reviews raving over the “extremely comfortable and hydrating” lip oil, its smooth application and “gorgeous packaging.”

Soft Pinch Lip Oil retails for $20 and will be available on Thursday (March 30) at 12 a.m. PT. But if you don’t want to wait that long, you can buy it right now on the Sephora app.

Earlier on Wednesday, Gomez hosted a Rare Beauty event celebrating the launch of the heavily anticipated lip oil. The Only Murders in the Building star, who is currently in New York filming the third season of the Hulu series, posed for photos with beauty influencers during the event.

The lip oil has been two years in the making, Gomez revealed in an interview with Elle.com. “The formula took two years to develop because it’s such a unique texture in a variety of shades—getting the right shades is always really important in our development process.”

Gomez introduced fans to the new lip oil earlier this week. “Meet me new Rare Beauty Soft Tinted Lip Oil,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s not your traditional lip oil – it’s an innovative lip jelly that transforms into a lightweight oil giving your lips the perfect pinch of color and shine. I love how comfy it feels – it’s never sticky.”

Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Lip Oil is made with jojoba and sunflower seed that “instantly hydrates and nourishes for soft, smooth lips that feel moisturized all day.” The tinted lip oil is available in serenity (warm rose), affection (muted berry), happy (cool pink), joy (muted peach), delight (rose brown), hope (nude mauve), wonder (rose mauve) and honesty (nude brown.)

Rare Beauty is a certified hit in the beauty and business world. The brand made a reported $60 million in its first year and became one of the top beauty brands of 2022 alongside Charlotte Tilbury, ColourPop, NYX and M.A.C Cosmetics.

Hailey Bieber has broken her silence in the midst of reports of her alleged feud with Selena Gomez, who previously dated the model’s husband Justin Bieber.
The star posted a lengthy message to her Instagram Stories on Friday (March 24), thanking Gomez for “speaking out,” noting that the two have “been discussing the last few weeks how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I.”

Bieber’s note comes just hours after Gomez took to her own IG Story to urge fans to stop bullying the Rhode founder, after Hailey reached out to the Only Murders in the Building star to let her know that she’d been receiving death threats and “such hateful negativity.”

“This isn’t what I stand for,” Gomez said unequivocally. “No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”

Bieber echoed Gomez’s sentiments in her note, writing, “The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful. While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together.”

She continued, “Things can always be taken out of context or construed differently than they were intended. We all need to be more thoughtful about what we post and what we say, including myself. In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion.”

Rumors of a feud began when Gomez confessed on TikTok in February that she’d over-laminated her eyebrows. Kylie Jenner then shared a photo with her friend Hailey holding the camera close up to their own professional-looking brows.

Fans believed that the similarities between the posts was no coincidence, and that perhaps the reality star and model were making fun of Gomez. “This is reaching,” the Kardashians star commented about the situation on a TikTok. “No shade towards selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.”

At the time, Gomez added that she’s “a fan of Kylie,” though she has since commented on fan-made TikToks shading Hailey, writing “I love you” to one fan who slammed the Rhode founder for being a “nepo baby” and a “mean girl.” On a resurfaced video of Hailey pretending to gag at the mention of Taylor Swift’s music, Gomez replied, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.”

However, Gomez later encouraged her followers to be more empathetic. “Please, please be kinder and consider others mental health,” Selena commented on one of her recent TikToks sharing her makeup routine. “My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love.”

Looks like we’re going to be hearing wedding bells on the next season of Only Murders in the Building.

Steve Martin teased some on-set photos via Twitter on Tuesday (March 21), in which he’s seen in a tuxedo linking arms with his co-star Selena Gomez, who is wearing a lacy wedding gown and veil. “Guess what just happened!” he captioned the post, without revealing who Gomez will be walking down the aisle to.

The comedian followed up with another photo of the “Lose You to Love Me” singer smiling with co-star Martin Short, who is also dressed in black-tie attire. “Turns out this happened, too,” Martin wrote.

Gomez also shared some snaps of her bridal moment to Instagram, in which she’s seen sitting on the floor with the tulle of her wedding dress surrounding her, smiling while holding a can of Coke. “I have no caption. Just a regular day at work,” she captioned the post, tagging the Only Murders official Instagram account.

Only Murders in the Building season two, starring the hilarious trio as true-crime loving neighbors who get wrapped up in a murder mystery, dropped on Hulu back in June. Since then, Gomez, Martin and Short have been teasing season three of the popular show throughout the past few weeks of filming — including much-anticipated cameos from Jesse Williams and Emily in Paris star Ashley Park.

Only Murders in the Building season three does not yet have a release date. In the meantime, watch the first two seasons on Hulu here.

Selena Gomez officially became the first woman on Instagram to surpass 400 million followers on Friday (March 17).

Less than a month ago, when she reached 381 million followers, the Only Murders in the Building star passed Kylie Jenner as the most-followed women on Instagram

While Gomez is the most-followed woman on the platform, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo is the most-followed person in general with 562 million followers. Another soccer superstar, Lionel Messi, follows with 442 million.

Gomez’s most recent post was a stunning makeup-free selfie with the simple caption, “Violet Chemistry,” which is a track title from Cyrus’ freshly dropped eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation.

The “Lose You to Love Me” singer returned to personally posting on her Instagram page in January, more than four years after she deleted the app from her phone and gave posting rights to a a member of her team due to her unhealthy relationship with the platform. “At one point Instagram became my whole world, and it was really dangerous. In my early 20s, I felt like I wasn’t pretty enough. There was a whole period in my life when I thought I needed makeup and never wanted to be seen without it,” she previously told InStyle.

Selena Gomez seems to be enjoying Miley Cyrus‘ new album just as much as everyone else.

The “Lose You to Love Me” singer took to Instagram on Monday (March 13) to share a stunning makeup-free selfie with the simple caption, “Violet Chemistry,” which is a track title from Cyrus’ freshly dropped eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation.

“Stay awhile, don’t deny the violet chemistry / Stay awhile, stay awhile with me / Stay awhile, put your arms around me,” Cyrus sings in the synth-filled, sultry song.

Gomez and Cyrus have been close for years, as both singers began their careers as Disney Channel stars, Miley on Hannah Montana — on which Gomez had a recurring role as Mikayla — and Selena on her series, Wizards of Waverly Place.

Cyrus first announced Endless Summer Vacation in January, with a post revealing steamy album cover, in which the 30-year-old star is seen in a black unitard, sunglasses and heels, swinging from a trapeze bar against a deep blue background.

Gomez took to the comments section at the time, writing, “Damn.”

Fans can experience the entire album live for the very first time by tuning into Miley’s Backyard Sessions concert special celebrating the release, as well as the fifteenth anniversary of “The Climb,” on Disney+.

Stars took to social media to honor the global day celebrating women.

Selena Gomez has a few kind words that she would like to give to her younger self. On Wednesday (March 8), the Rare Beauty founder asked her fans to have a moment of mindfulness, and she led the charge with a sweet throwback photo of her younger self.

“Dear younger me, please don’t be afraid to ask for help,” the 30-year-old captioned a photo of herself posing in front of the camera in a light yellow shirt embroidered with daisies.

“Today is International Women’s Day and I want each of us to be gentler to ourselves,” she continued, prompting her followers to “write your younger self a @RareBeauty #rarereminder and stick it on your mirror to remind yourself that you deserve the world. Love you.”

Gomez went deeper and added a second message of self-love to Rare Beauty’s Instagram page. “Something I wish I could tell my younger self is to appreciate the face and body that you have. It may not look like everyone else, but you are who you are, and be proud of that,” she said in a video, which the beauty brand later posted to its Instagram Story with a prompt for followers to share the advice they would give their younger self.

The Only Murders in the Building actress’ words about being kinder to oneself come amid her recent TikTok request to her fans to “Please, please be kinder and consider others mental health.” Gomez wrote the note following days of Internet gossip related to her alleged feud with Hailey Bieber, adding, “My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love.”

Gomez’s songs (on which she is the lead artist) registered 16.1 million on-demand U.S. audio streams in the week ending March 2, according to Luminate, up from 11 million the week before. The new total is her best audio streaming week since the week ending Nov. 10, 2022 (17.6 million), which was most likely linked to the release of her Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me documentary on Nov. 2.

That extra 5.1 million streams in the U.S. comes out to a bonus $27,030 for the recording rights holders, plus another $6,245 in publishing revenue, Billboard estimates.

While there is no clear cause of the boost, Gomez has been in the headlines quite a bit recently related to her alleged feud with Hailey Bieber, who is married to her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber. It all started after the Only Murders in the Building star confessed on TikTok in February that she’d over-laminated her eyebrows.

However, most recently, Gomez has encouraged her followers to be more empathetic. “Please, please be kinder and consider others mental health,” Selena commented on one of her recent TikToks sharing her makeup routine. “My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love.”

Selena Gomez took a break from her usual glitz and glamour to get back to her Texas roots — and took a special someone along for the journey. On Thursday (March 2), the “Lose You to Love Me” singer hopped on Instagram to share photos of a recent fishing trip she took with her 9-year-old sister, Gracie Eliiott Teefy, her youngest sibling whom she shares through mother Mandy Teefey and stepfather Brian Teefey.

Gomez gave fans a look into her and Gracie’s time fishing through a carousel post. The first two images featured the Rare Beauty founder and Gracie posing with the fish they caught on the lake, while the third captured the scenery of the lake and the fourth, a sweet, smiling photo of Gracie giving the camera a thumbs-up.

The singer-actress also shared a video in the carousel of Gracie asking, “Wait, who are you texting [the video] to?” to which Gomez hastily replied “No one!” The 30-year-old captioned the post, “Texas girl at heart. Cali girl for fun and NY gal for the real. Grateful, thankful and blessed lady!”

Gracie has recently become more of a fixture in Gomez’s public presence. In January, Gracie served as her big sister’s plus-one to the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. That same month, the Only Murders in the Building actress shared photos of her celebrating Nicola Peltz Beckham’s birthday with a dinner on Jan. 8, in which Teefey was in attendance. And on Jan. 6, Gomez shared on Instagram that the she and Gracie had a girls’ date together, even wearing matching black outfits.

North West and Selena Gomez‘s little sister Gracie Teefey are the friendship goals we never knew we needed. The two shared a series of TikToks over the weekend, in which they give fans a cute look into their process of making pasta from scratch.

In the videos shared to North and her mom Kim Kardashian’s TikTok page, Gracie and North experiment as they make their pasta and share the steps along the way, including cracking eggs on top of flour, mixing the dough and, most importantly, applying lip gloss before delving into their cooking.

Nine-year-old Gracie revealed that she actually tried making pasta before with Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter and North’s cousin, Penelope Disick. “If it was a fail, does that count?” Gracie joked, before adding, “I did make it with Penelope and then I threw up after.”

Unfortunately, the two pals did not share their final product or a taste test. See their four-part pasta journey on TikTok here.

North West has become a popular TikTok personality, as fans have grown to love the nine-year-old’s sense of humor and care for her three younger siblings. In January, she shared a video in which she looks exactly like her father, Kanye West, thanks to an oversized hoodie, knit beanie and special effects makeup. She and her mom vibe to West’s 2013 track “Bound 2,” the words “Bound Baby” written in black text on the video.
