OG 2 Low, a rapper who reportedly has ties with Rap-A-Lot Records, was a guest on a recent podcast discussing the finer points of his career, which dates back to the 1990s. During the chat, OG 2 Low is seen in a clip adjusting his fireman in his pocket, which suddenly goes off and narrowly misses the rapper’s leg while sparking a flurry of comments online.

As reported by Chron, OG 2 Low sat down with the One on One Wit Mike D podcast, also known as the Tha Dirty 3rd podcast, hosted by Mike D of the Screwed Up Click and one-third of the Southside Playaz group.
In a clip posted by @CollinRugg over the weekend, OG 2 Low, 45, is seen on the set of One on One Wit Mike D fumbling around in his pants when viewers suddenly hear a loud pop and a pained look on OG’s face. Mike D asks if anyone was shot while the podcast producer is heard in the background with some light commentary. Taking the moment in stride, Mike D took a quick pause and resumed the chat with OG 2 Low, who did appear to be okay despite blasting a hole in the left thigh portion of his jeans.
The video, which has been viewed over 2 million times and clipped by other content creators and outlets, is continuing to make its rounds with some saying the moment reminded them of the time former NFL star Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg while carrying a gun in his pants. Others online preached about gun safety while others just went in for the jokes.
We’ve got a few reactions below, avoiding those that bordered on racist with some tough guy gun owners acting like they’re John Wick online and using it as an excuse to dump on the perceived intelligence of rappers.

NEW: Rapper 2 Low accidentally fires his gun while reaching his hand in his pocket during an interview, finishes the episode anyway
The incident happened during the 1 on 1 With Mike D podcast.
After taking a quick break, the two continued their highly intellectual conversation. pic.twitter.com/UeGlOw2hFH

Gaboro, a Swedish rapper known for appearing masked at all times, was shot and killed last week in a parking garage located near the city of Stockholm. A video was shortly released with reports suggesting it may depict the final moments of Gaboro’s life although the authorities have yet to confirm it.
In a report from the BBC, Gaboro, real name Ninos Khouri, was found dead in the city of Norrköping on Thursday (Dec. 19) according to local outlets. From what we gathered from the report, it appears that Khouri was found suffering from gunshot wounds and died later at a nearby hospital due to his injuries.

Some outlets have shared reported footage of the shooting, which features an over-the-shoulder vantage point although the validity of the footage is still under question. The video takes place inside a multilevel parking structure and shows the gunman running down another individual assumed to be Gaboro. According to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, police say that the video is part of their ongoing investigation.
Khouri first hit it big when in 2022, his song “Browski” went viral and became a known commodity on TikTok and other social media spaces. On Spotify, Khouri earned millions of streams and had well over 300,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. His 2024 single “Harki” amassed over 11 million views on the streaming site.
Online, tributes for Gaboro have cropped up, most especially from fellow Swedish artists and others from the music scene, such as DJ Alan Max and fellow rapper Imenella.

Nancy Black might not be a name known to many outside of the Roma community, but the rapper is using her voice and platform to call out the injustice faced by her people. In a new profile, Nancy Black is using Hip-Hop as a vehicle for change and to support the recognition of all Roma people.
Nancy Black, real name Gilda-Nancy Horvath, was featured in a profile from the AFP centered on her still-growing career as a rapper and the motivations behind her art.

Horvath first began her rapping career about eight years ago, creating what the profile referred to as an “angry rap” song or protest song titled “Trushula,” which has a video with English subtitles where one can read exactly who she is targeting with her bars.
The profile goes on to note that Horvath was inspired by the development of far-right groups across Europe, especially in her home country of Austria. There, the Freedom Party (FPOe), which reportedly had Nazi ties, led in polls for the country’s national elections and this has Horvath’s attention.
Beyond tackling anti-Roma racism in verse form, Horvath also raps in Romani in part to keep the language alive and to “stop the suffering” as she told the outlet.
“With the death of this language we are also forgetting a large part of our history,” Horvath said.
The Roma people, who number around 14 million, are burdened with discrimination across the realms of education and employment, along with struggling with poverty per the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).

Key Vhani, a rising rapper out of South Florida, was seen on video in a tussle with two men when she pulled out a firearm and opened fire, striking one of the men. Key Vhani was arrested after suffering injuries and was recently released on bond as she awaits trial for second-degree murder.
As seen on NBC Miami, Key Vhani, 27, was seen on surveillance video on October 8 having a discussion with what police say was her manager when things seemingly turned violent as the man raised his hand at her. Another man exited a parked white vehicle and the two knocked the rapper down but she managed to get herself up.

Vhani was then seen reaching into her bag for a firearm and began shooting at the men. As the man scrambled to get away, Vhani walked up to the man and fired more rounds. As this was happening, the parked car drove and struck Vhani, running her over in the process before driving off.
The artist born Kevhani Camilla Hicks was arrested and booked on second-degree murder charges and was jailed. She is now free on Bond as of Monday (November 27) and shared a message on Instagram to her nearly 23,000 fans.
From IG:
“Good morning to all of my supporters and fans! I’m finally home after experiencing something so traumatic and life changing. I have 3 broken ribs and bruises all over so I’m currently healing and getting rest,” she wrote. “I just want to personally thank everyone who supports me and knows that I’m not the horrible person some are claiming that I am. I can’t comment on the case at all, but I pray you all continue to stand by me and support me through this tragic time. I love you all to the moon and back!”
A public defender for Hicks says that their client was acting in self-defense. A trial date has yet to be announced.
