This week, Billboard’s New Music Latin roundup and playlist — curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — features fresh new music, including fresh picks by DannyLux, a collaboration between Codiciado and Xavi and Rosalía’s highly awaited featuring with Björk and Yves Tumor, to name a few.
GALE unleashed her sophomore studio album Lo Que Puede Pasar, which explores heartbreak, new beginnings, and the nostalgia of first times in 13 tracks. On the set, the Puerto Rican artist is joined by collaborators Danny Ocean, LAGOS, and Abraham Mateo, to name a few, where she navigates with ease rhythms such as EDM, pop, and rock. “Beautifully produced from beginning to end, Lo Que Puede Pasar showcases an evolution in the sound of GALE, one of the most sought-after songwriters in Latin music, whose credits include hits for superstars like Shakira, Christina Aguilera, and Juanes,” Billboard Español’s Sigal Ratner-Arias said.
Speaking of new projects, Maria Becerra dropped “JOJO,” her first single from her forthcoming set called QUIMERA. Sonically, the track — co-produced and co-written by Becerra and XCROSS — is a hard-hitting dancehall fused with R&B elements, and lyrically, it’s about a girl named Jojo, who has a magnetic force and has no competition.
Other new releases this week include music from Maria Becerra, Banda El Recodo, and Majo Aguilar. In the latest New Music Latin poll, Esaú Ortiz’s Discontrol album won with more than 60% of the vote. LE SSERAFIM’s new collaboration with BTS’ j-hope has topped this week’s new music poll.
In a poll published Friday (Oct. 24) by Billboard, music fans chose the powerhouse team-up’s “Spaghetti” as their favorite new release of the week.
“Spaghetti” earned 77% of the vote, beating out new projects from Demi Lovato (It’s Not That Deep), Megan Thee Stallion (“LOVER GIRL”), Bruce Springsteen (Nebraska ’82), Daniel Caesar (Son of Spergy), Leon Thomas (Pholks), and more.
The track serves as the lead single from LE SSERAFIM’s eight-track HYBE compilation of the same name and marks j-hope’s first-ever feature on a K-pop girl group song.
Earlier in the week, the song was teased through a YouTube video titled “The Kick,” featuring j-hope in a Matrix-inspired outfit and shades, surrounded by flashing strobe lights. The clip ends with a snippet of LE SSERAFIM members — KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE — delivering the line “eat it up.”
Speaking with Billboard Philippines, LE SSERAFIM shared insights into the making of “Spaghetti.” The song “expresses LE SSERAFIM’s charm that you just can’t get away from, like spaghetti that’s stuck in your teeth,” SAKURA said. “The part where we sing ‘eat it up’ over and over is the highlight, and since each of us members delivers it in our own styles, it adds even more playfulness to the song.”
LE SSERAFIM have been on a hot streak this year. In March, the group’s album HOT debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, marking their fifth top 10 entry and second chart-topper after 2024’s Crazy.
Placing second in this week’s poll was Lovato’s new album, It’s Not That Deep, which secured 7% of the vote.

J-hope and GloRilla‘s “Killin It Girl” tops this week’s new music poll.
In a poll published Friday (June 13) on Billboard, music fans chose the collaboration between the BTS member and the Memphis MC as their favorite new release of the past week.
“Killin It Girl” brought in 87% of the vote, beating out new releases from artists like Lil Tecca (Dopamine), Mark Ronson and RAYE (“Suzanne”), Zara Larsson (“Midnight Sun”), Brandon Lake (King of Hearts) and Gunna (“Won’t Stop”).
“Killin It Girl” features an entrancing hip-hop flow that conveys the enchanting pull of love at first sight, with GloRilla taking on the persona of the irresistible baddie. “He said I be killin’ it, I said I do this everyday,” Big Glo brags on the lust-filled track.

This new single follows a busy year for the K-pop star, who also released hits like “Sweet Dreams” with Miguel and “Mona Lisa.”
“’Sweet Dreams’ featuring Miguel — an artist I’ve long respected — has a smooth, soulful vibe that feels deeply personal. On the other hand, ‘Mona Lisa’ brings a hip-hop-driven performance energy,” j-hope told Billboard in May.
He added, “Both tracks are easy to connect with, yet they offer a glimpse into the broader, more evolved musical world I’m building. This is just the start — I have plenty more musical experiments in store.”
The BTS member toured across North America as part of his HOPE ON THE STAGE tour, including a pair of sold-out concerts at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in March. He concluded the global trek on Friday (June 13), with a performance at South Korea’s Goyang Stadium.
The “other” category placed second in the poll with 10% of the vote, while Lil Tecca’s fifth album, Dopamine, came in third, earning nearly 1%.”

The 14-track set, released via Universal Music Spain, generated more than 59% of the vote, beating out other new album releases last week including Alejandro Sanz’s ¿Y Ahora Qué?; Jesse & Joy’s Lo Que Nos Faltó Decir; and Los Tigres del Norte’s La Lotería, to name a few.
In YEM, the Bogotá-based group celebrates brotherhood, evolution, and above all, dreams coming true. The tracks are mostly inspired by riveting rock music from the ’90s, and include two collaborations: “Sin Ti” with Jay Wheeler and “Me Toca a Mi” with Camilo.

MGK‘s “Cliché” tops this week’s new music poll.
In a poll published Friday (May 23) on Billboard, music fans chose the rocker’s latest single as their favorite new release of the past week.
“Cliché” brought in 38% of the vote, edging out fresh offerings from a range of artists, including Joe Jonas (Music For People Who Believe in Love), Burna Boy featuring Travis Scott (“TaTaTa”), Karol G (“Latina Foreva”) and Alex Warren with Jelly Roll (“Bloodline”), among others.
The melodic new track marks MGK’s fourth single of 2025, following “Your Name Forever,” “Come Pick Me Up” and his recent cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris,” featuring Julia Wolf.
Shortly after “Cliché” dropped on Friday, the artist formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly shared a video on Instagram of his elated reaction to landing the cover of Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist.
“For the first time in my career…CLICHÉ!!” he captioned the post, adding a teary-eyed emoji and prayer hands while tagging Spotify and Spotify for Artists. In the video, MGK excitedly FaceTimes his 15-year-old daughter, Casie Colson Baker. “Princess, I’m hyped right now! … Your sister’s asleep so I can’t scream, but I wanna scream so loud,” he said.

Coming in a close second in the poll was Joe Jonas’ Music For People Who Believe in Love, which received nearly 33% of the vote. The 14-track project is Jonas’ first solo album since 2011 and features collaborations with his younger brother Frankie Jonas, Sierra Ferrell, Louane, Tiny Habits, Luísa Sonza, and more.
Speaking to Billboard in April, Jonas shared the personal nature of the album. “The music I’ve been making felt really personal,” the Jonas Brothers member said. “And I selfishly didn’t want to share it with other people. This needed to come from my voice in particular.”
