One Los Angeles Times Editorials editor is standing on business and wants to be on the right side of history, while the owner of his former employer opts to stay neutral.
Mariel Garza said, “screw you guys, I’m out,” after the publications owner refused to let the Los Angeles Times Editorials board endorse a presidential candidate.
Speaking with the Columbia Journalism Review, Garza said she is “resigning because I want to make it clear that I am not okay with us being silent. In dangerous times, honest people need to stand up. This is how I’m standing up.”
Patrick Soon-Shiong, the owner of the Los Angeles Times, told the editorial board earlier in the month the publication would not be making an endorsement, something it has been doing since 2008.
According to the CJR, the editorial board was set to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
In her resignation letter, Garza wrote, “Presidential endorsements don’t really matter,” adding that “reality bit me like cold water on Tuesday when the news rippled out about the decision not to endorse without so much as a comment from LAT management, and Donald Trump turned it into an anti-Harris rip.”
She wasn’t kidding. The Trump/Vance campaign immediately sent an email, calling the Los Angeles Times decision the “latest blow to Harris-Walz.” “Even her fellow Californians know she’s not up for the job.”
Garza continued that the decision not to endorse “makes us look craven and hypocritical, maybe even a bit sexist and racist. How could we spend eight years railing against Trump and the danger his leadership poses to the country and then fail to endorse the perfectly decent Democrat challenger — who we previously endorsed for the US Senate?”
Patrick Soon-Shiong Says A Whole Bunch of Nothing
Shiong took to X, formerly Twitter, to try and explain his decision not to endorse a presidential candidate:
So many comments about the @latimes Editorial Board not providing a Presidential endorsement this year. Let me clarify how this decision came about. The Editorial Board was provided the opportunity to draft a factual analysis of all the POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE policies by EACH candidate during their tenures at the White House, and how these policies affected the nation. In addition, the Board was asked to provide their understanding of the policies and plans enunciated by the candidates during this campaign and its potential effect on the nation in the next four years. In this way, with this clear and non-partisan information side-by-side, our readers could decide who would be worthy of being President for the next four years. Instead of adopting this path as suggested, the Editorial Board chose to remain silent and I accepted their decision. Please #vote.
In an election where one candidate, Donald Trump, is praising Hitler for having loyal generals and being blatantly racist, you would think you want your paper to stand side by side with the other candidate to keep a fascist out of the White House.
Welp.

50 Cent has been in his share of Hip-Hop battles, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that he had some advice for Drake, but many are giving the Queen’s rapper the side eye for what he said.
In a recent interview with Billboard, 50 Cent touched on many topics, including his Las Vegas residency and his 07 sales battle with Ye, aka Kanye West, but his comments regarding Drake’s dustup with Kendrick Lamar were quite interesting.
Speaking with Billboard’s Michael Saponara, the Queens rapper uttered Drake’s name numerous times, likening the Canadian rapper’s current stance with Hip-Hop fans to when he dropped his album, Curtis.
“Drake is in that position right now,” 50 Cent said, noting that he is a fan of Kendrick Lamar but also doesn’t feel that any music put out by Drake during the beef “was wack at any point.”
Saponara asked 50 Cent if he had any advice for the 6 God, and he pretty much coddled Drake, telling him he didn’t lose anything in his lyrical battle with K.Dot.
“On some real shit, I said, ‘They said you lost, okay. Well, what did you lose?’” 50 said. “What exactly did he lose, if he got $300 something million on his last tour? You didn’t lose a motherfucking thing, man. If that’s the moment, you keep your creative energy in the right place, and keep creating.”
Social Media Does Not Agree With 50 Cent
50 Cent might feel that way, but many others don’t.
“If you fight somebody, and afterwards your dawg tells you “it don’t matter cuz you got more bitches than him” or “you got more money than that nigga”………he is confirming that you indeed lost that fight,” one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Megan Thee Stallion once rapped, “True Religion, I feel like a stallion, horseshoes on my a**,” in her song “Accent.” So, in a move that makes all the sense in the world, the Hip-Hop superstar is teaming up with the clothing brand.
Officially unveiled on Tuesday, October 22, Megan Thee Stallion and True Religion are coming together for their Where Holiday Wishes Come True campaign.
RapUp reports that, as part of the collaboration, True Religion will also hold a Where Wishes Come True event to benefit the Houston rapper’s nonprofit, the Pete & Thomas Foundation.
“Working with True Religion is such a full circle moment,” Megan said in a press release per VIBE. “I’ve been a fan of the brand since I was a kid, so it’s really exciting to star in this campaign and bring in the Hot Girl Holidays in a special way.”
The “COBRA” rapper and Hunxho can be seen rocking True Religion clothing. Thee Stallion rocks a red True Religion crop top with the company’s iconic logo and jeans with matching stitching in one look. In another look, she rocks a full denim-on-denim look.
Speaking on the collaboration, True Religion CEO Michael Buckley said, “Partnering with Megan Thee Stallion is a game changer for us. She’s the perfect face for our women’s business, which is thriving with double-digit growth compared to last year.”
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to mark our second annual holiday campaign with Megan, who is not just a fan but also ‘true’ to what our brand stands for. With a diverse, engaging approach, we’re eager to welcome both loyal and new customers into our True Religion family,” adds CMO Kristen D’Arcy.
Of Course, There Are Some Haters
The announcement of the collaboration between True Religion and Megan Thee Stallion puts the Hotties in a great mood, but there are always haters.
Some feel that True Religion dropped the ball by not linking up with “rapper” Sexyy Red, who regularly rocks the brand.
Others are saying nah to the notion that Sexxy Red deserved the look instead of Megan Thee Stallion.
“it should’ve been sexyy” aye man i love sexyy red but it’s kinda hard to imagine a major brand attaching themselves to somebody selling gonorrhea and discharge themed lip gloss,” one user on X, formerly Twitter, said.
Welp.
Congrats to Thee Stallion, who is set to release another project, MEGAN: Act II, and a documentary on Amazon Prime Video, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Own Words, which will touch on her mother’s passing and the reactions following the Tory Lanez shooting.

Remember when everyone questioned President Joe Biden’s mental fitness? It looks like the real person who’s going senile is none other than the orange menace himself, Donald Trump.
Donald Trump continues to make a complete a** of himself as he rambles toward the upcoming Presidential election. On Saturday, Orange Mussolini added to his greatest hits of stupid moments during a Pennsylvania rally when he kicked things off with a story about legendary late golfer Arnold Palmer’s manhood.
I wished we were joking.
Trump spent more than 10 minutes at the beginning of his rally speaking about Palmer, who passed away in 2016. According to Raw Story, Trump has been accused of embellishing his relationship with the legendary golfer, who allegedly thought Trump was “disgusting.”
Per Raw Story:
“Arnold Palmer was all man and I say that in all due respect to women, and I love women, but this guy — this is a guy that was all man. This man was strong and tough,” Trump said, adding, “And I refuse to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there, they said, ‘Oh my God. That’s unbelievable.’ I had to say it. We have women who are highly sophisticated here…”
Palmer’s daughter, Peg Palmer Wears, responded to Trump’s lewd comments about her late father, telling the Associated Press she was “not really upset” by them, adding that “there’s nothing much to say” regarding him opening his Saturday rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania talking about her late father’s manhood.
The Harris/Walz campaign, which has been making sure to capitalize on all of the ridiculousness Trump says at his rallies, which is happening almost daily, wasted no time reacting, writing on the Kamala HQ profile on X, formerly Twitter, “Trump goes on long confused ramble,” before quoting the former disgraced president.
In a press release, the Harris/Walz campaign said, “Trump’s Pennsylvania Closing Argument Is Literal Junk,” a clever play on the moment.
Social media is also clowning Trump, which has become the norm. You can see those reactions in the gallery below.

Drake is still very much going through some thangs following his battle with Kendrick Lamar.
Drizzy’s style has changed many times throughout his career, but recently, many people have wondered if the Canadian-born musician is having a mid-life crisis.
The “God’s Plan” crafter has been getting trolled on X, formerly Twitter, after sharing another duck lip face selfie to his Instagram Story Tuesday night.
The Six God tried to take a page from West Coast legend Snoop Dogg’s book by rocking sleek pigtails with baby blue bubble barrettes and his hair parted down the middle.
The fit wasn’t any better, with Drake wearing a baggy-ass Canadian tuxedo (all denim for those who don’t know), an oversized leather bomber jacket that would make the Dipset proud, and white-on-white Air Force 1s.
Unfortunately for Drake, he didn’t look as cool as Uncle Snoop, and X didn’t hold back on the jokes.
Another user on X wrote, “Drake going thru [sic] his mid life crisis..what the hell possessed him to go put his hair in pigtails and pose with duck lips lol..just give us the slaps my boy.”
Speaking about the hair, another user on X wrote, “Drake with those f–king pigtails, EIGHT DAYS away from being THIRTY EIGHT years old is pissing me off so bad.”
Bruh.
We are sure Drake could care less about what people think about his style or infamous duck lip selfies; in fact, we think he’s doing this to keep his “haters” talking.
Well, if he thinks he looks cool, that’s on him.
But one thing is sure: he will keep getting these jokes after dropping these photos.

Disgraced Former President Donald Trump participated in a Univision town hall on Wednesday, addressing an audience of undecided Latino voters. Spoiler alert: Trump didn’t do so well.
While Vice President Kamala Harris is out here killing every damn interview and town hall she has participated in, her opponent, Donald The Orange Menace Trump, is trying to keep pace with the MVP, and while doing so, he’s making a fantastic case why everyone should vote for VP Harris and not him.
During the real town hall event not moderated by a Trump loyalist, the former president was put on the spot when asked questions about the Jan.6 insurrection, climate change, reproductive rights, immigration, and the cost of living.
So, of course, instead of being able to spout nonsense to a bunch of loyal deplorables, his greatest hits of nonsense landed with a thud.
Trump Doubled Down On Haitian Immigrants Eating Pets
When given a chance to back down from the ridiculous claims of Haitian Immigrants eating neighbor’s pets in Springfield, Ohio, Trump defended the claims he made during the only debate he had with Vice President Harris.
“I was just saying what was reported,” Trump said. “That’s been reported, and eating other things, too, that they’re not supposed to be.” He added that “newspapers” reported on the ridiculous claim but could not back them up with sources. No surprise.
According to Donald Trump, Jan.6 Was A “Day of Love” Where “Nobody Died”
Ramiro Gonzalez, a self-proclaimed Republican who wanted to give Trump a chance to win back his support, told Orange Mussolini he was alarmed about the Trump administration’s delayed response during the Jan 6. insurrection and COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the deaths of many Americans.
“Hundreds of thousands of people come to Washington,” Trump said in a lengthy, nonsensical response. “They didn’t come because of me. They came because of the election. They thought the election was a rigged election. That’s why they came.”
“I said ‘peacefully and patriotically.’ Nothing done wrong at all,” Trump said. He added, “That was a day of love from the standpoint of the millions.”
Gonzalez was asked if he would vote for Trump after hearing the response to his question, and he said that he was not.
Bruh.
Users on X, formerly Twitter, began clowning Trump for his responses during the town hall.
“Ashli Babbitt was killed, nobody was killed” Special. Needs,” one user said in a post on X.
Lol, unbelievable.

Eric Adams cannot do anything right. He cannot correctly represent NYC’s professional baseball teams.
The indicted Mayor of New York City is getting dragged on social media again for a swaggerless baseball cap he wore during the Columbus Day parade.
Trying to capitalize on the excitement of a potential Subway Series World Series with the New York Mets and Yankees in their respective division championship series, Adams proudly sported a fitted cap featuring both teams’ logos while marching down Fifth Avenue.
As the embattled mayor continues to see the walls close in on him as the federal corruption probe into his campaign intensifies, Adams is looking for any way to gain favor with New Yorkers who continue to grow tired of his antics. Unfortunately for him, this gesture backfired big time.
Per The New York Times:
“I’m like everyday New Yorkers,” Mr. Adams told reporters on Monday, with the curved brim cap situated on his head.
Fabien Levy, a spokesman for the mayor, said that the hat captured a mayor caught between his personal fandom and his political duties.
“Mayor Adams is a long-suffering Mets fan and has been clear he’s cheering them on to win it all (what can I say, no one is perfect),” Mr. Levy said in an email. “But as the mayor of the greatest city in the world, he’s also rooting for a subway series that will make millions of New York sports fans happy, while bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars of economic impact for our city.”
A Similar Hat Sold At A NYC Store Sold Out Online
Well, that’s not the case because both Yankees and Mets fans are clowning the snapback hat that Mr. Levy says belonged to someone on Adams’ staff and is a relic from the 2000 World Series that featured both the Yankees and Mets.
A similar hat can be found at Exclusive Fitted, a hat store in Jamaica, Queens. The hat, which retails for $45, sold out online, so maybe fans were just irritated by seeing Adams wearing it.
You can peep reactions to Adams getting clowned in the gallery below.

Elon Musk gets plenty of praise for his “technical prowess,” but one person, Alex Proyas, doesn’t share those sentiments.
Last week in Burbank, California, the Tesla Chief and terrible owner of X, formerly Twitter, unveiled his company’s new Optimus robots and self-driving vehicles at an event interestingly titled “We Robot.”
Like many on X, Aley Proyas, the director of the 2004 blockbuster film I Robot, believed Musk jacked the designs from his movie.
“Hey Elon,” Proyas wrote on X, “Can I have my designs back, please?” The message was accompanied by a series of stills from the film, side-by-side with photos of Musk’s latest designs.
Musk, who doesn’t hesitate to respond when he’s called on his platform, has yet to respond to Proyas’ claims, but that didn’t stop his delusional fans from putting on their capes to defend the billionaire.
“Be honored. What you did with CGI and a green screen, @elonmusk did in reality,” one person wrote in response to Proyas’ claims.
Another glazer wrote, “you feel you inspired the future yet you’re trying to dunk on the person who made it a reality.”
This was not the first time Musk had shown off the Optimus robot; it debuted in 2022, the same year he reluctantly bought Twitter for $44 billion before stupidly renaming it to X.
Musk’s reputation as the real-life Tony Stark has since taken a well-deserved hit, and now he has become “Dark MAGA,” whatever that means.
Word on the tech streets is that humans partly controlled the robots at “We Work.” Following the event, Tesla stock took a hit, dropping by nearly 9%.
Welp.

Bow Wow has found a way to get dragged because of Diddy.
The rapper, born Shad Moss, is now being dragged after appearing on Rocsi Diaz’s podcast, More To The Story. During their conversation, the miniature rapper claimed that he misses Diddy parties.
Bow Wow’s head*ss comments come as the embattled music mogul, whom he called the “gatekeeper to the game,” is currently behind bars after he was arrested and indicted on sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting for prostitution charges for his alleged “freak off” parties.
The “Let Me Hold You” rapper lamented about Diddy’s absence from the industry party scene to host Rocsi Diaz.
“Like, BET Award weekend, like the past two, it didn’t feel right,” Bow Wow said, speaking about the BET Awards in June and BET Hip Hop Awards that went down last week in Las Vegas.
He continued, “There was no motion, there was no parties. There was nowhere to go.”
Diaz interrupted Bow Wow and pointed out the difference between the Diddy parties and his alleged freak-offs, which he denies happened.
“For the record, I left before 1 [a.m.]! I never stayed,” she told Bow Wow after he brought up industry parties they both attended.
She continued, “I’ve only been to two parties, and I’ve never seen a freak-off!”
Ignoring the off-ramp, the 37-year-old continued saying there is a “hole” now that Combs’ influence in the music industry is no longer present.
“I said, ‘Jermaine, there’s no parties,’” Bow Wow said while recalling a phone conversation he had with his mentor, Jermaine Dupri.
“You feel it. It’s like a hole. He was everything hip hop! So for that to die out, you just would have never thought,” he added.
Bruh.
Social Media Tells Bow Wow To Read The Room
Since the clip has gone viral, X users are dragging Bow Wow for his foolery.
“His stupid forever teenager ass need to read the fucking room,” one user on X, formerly Twitter, wrote.
Another user wrote, “Diddy has a long history of violence. Against men & women. This should not be suprising to anyone! This “we aint know. We just wanted to party” has to stop.”
Where’s the lie?
You can see more reactions to Bow Wow’s missing Diddy parties in the gallery below.
