Social media knows that Offset and Cardi B have a history of showering each other with lavish gifts for the heck of it. So y’all already knew that when Cardi’s birthday came around, Offset was going to go all out as he has no problem splurging on his wife/baby mama.

According to Page Six, Offset broke his piggy bank and blessed Cardi B with a half a million dollars worth of Hermès bags for her 31st birthday this past Wednesday (October 11) and while that may sound like a bunch of purses, it was actually only three. Yes, three Birkin bags damn near totaled $500,000. That’s when you know you ballin’ outta control.

Still, the couple could afford it as they’re both very successful in their careers and while it may seem like a bit much for three accessories that can easily be lost at a venue or on a plane, Cardi ain’t complaining.
Per Page Six:
Cardi B squealed as she opened the first, which contained a hot pink crocodile Kelly bag; a similar style recently sold for close to $92,000 on 1stdibs.
But her next purse blew the first out of the water.
As she shimmied to the strains of Madonna’s “Vogue,” Cardi unboxed an extremely rare Faubourg Birkin — often called the “House Birkin,” as it’s modeled after Hermès’ Paris storefront on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
One of the purses is currently listed on 1stdibs for a staggering $298,975.
“My favorite!” Cardi screamed upon unwrapping the unique carryall, joking, “I don’t even think I’m ready to see the other one.”
Offset suggested she “take a shot” before opening her last box, which housed a glossy gold-colored crocodile Birkin.
A similar version sold at a Christie’s auction in 2020 for $72,000, bringing the total value of Cardi’s birthday gifts to approximately $462,975.
Most people won’t ever touch a Hermès bag nor ever see $400K, but for Offset and Cardi B it was just another night at the Delilah in West Hollywood.

Jemele Hill has emerged as one of the more outspoken sports journalists and public figures of her era, using her massive platform to express thoughts that are often met with pushback. Hill once more sounded off in her unique way, criticizing Offset for sitting down with Bobbi Althoff for an interview.
Via X, formerly known as Twitter, Jemele Hill fired a shot at Offset for appearing on an upcoming episode of The Really Good Podcast with Bobbi Althoff. Some might remember the podcast for a viral interview with Drake as he and Althoff have a conversation in bed while the Canadian superstar sips wine.

I don’t find these types of interviews particularly enjoyable or interesting,” began Hill’s critique on X. “Instead it just sadly points out how real hip hop journalism has been practically erased. Some of the media teams behind these artists aren’t interested in them sitting down with credible people who know how to tell stories and do quality interviews. Then they wonder why an artist’s real story goes untold, neglected or that artist is misunderstood.”
In a new viral clip, Offset is seen matching wits with the typically deadpan and sarcastic Althoff and not letting her humor get the best of him. Further, Althoff’s attempt to embarrass her guest backfires as the Migos star deftly dodges and parries with his own shots.

Hill’s missive is not unlike one made by veteran Hip-Hop journalist Elliott Wilson, who made similar comments about Drake sitting down with Althoff in lieu of Black media outlets that actually know and care about his story.
Wilson previously interviewed the OVO honcho on his show, Rap Radar. Wilson also clarified that he wasn’t miffed Drake wouldn’t sit down for a second time but wondered aloud why a star of Drake’s magnitude would, in his words, “speak to us again” in a reference to Black music media.
Hill just wrapped season four of her original Spotify podcast Jemele Hill Is Unbothered this past July.

On the latest episode of “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong,” Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, just learned that threatening a rapper on social media is not a good look when you’re on probation and has some pretty annoying consequences.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kenneth Petty was placed on house arrest Wednesday (Sept. 20), for his online antics after his probation officer saw his social media posts where he was creeping the streets of New York looking for Offset and making threats to the rapper over some silliness. Though nothing has come of the situation (thank goodness), it was determined that Petty violated the terms of his probation and was sentenced to 120 days of home detention for his transgression.
At least he lives in a nice home with his millionaire wife, right?
Per The Hollywood Reporter:

In a court order filed Wednesday in the Central District of California, Petty was ordered to undertake home monitoring after he “was recorded on video making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.” The specific individual mentioned in the order is Offset, and the clips relate to a series of messages Petty aimed at the rapper that appeared on social media Sept. 16.
As you may or may not recall, Mr. Minaj was sentenced to three years probation back in 2022 after he pled guilty to failing to register as a sex offender. In the clip that went viral and got him violated, Petty and his alleged goons are seen creeping outside a hotel where Offset was allegedly staying and offering up some threats.

All this over a row of seats at the MTV Video Music Awards. SMH.
The man knew he was on probation, and given his history, was probably aware he’d get violated for any little thing by the courts. Still, he felt the need to go on social media and let the world know he was “keeping it real.” That kind of ego and pride will get you every time.
No word on how Offset feels about Petty getting reprimanded for the video, but we’re sure he’s laughing a lot harder than he was to Petty’s original threats.

What do y’all think of Nicki’s hubby getting hit with the house arrest bid? Let us know in the comments section below.

It looks like the Nicki Minaj and Cardi B beef just went up another notch as the two women’s husbands are now squabbling on social media.

On Saturday night (Sept. 16), videos of Nicki’s hubby, Kenneth Petty, hit social media in which he and some of his goons were “outside” in New York City looking for Offset after the two got into a weird back-and-forth via Instagram DMs. It seems like Offset rubbed Petty the wrong way by sliding into one of Petty’s homie’s DMs and basically welcomed whatever smoke Petty and company had to offer by calling them “p***y” and saying they “don’t got money for war.”

Apparently, someone in Petty’s crew took to IG and threatened to slap up anybody at the VMAs if they dared to sit in their row of seats, and Offset had an opinion about it for whatever reason.

Feeling disrespected, Petty rounded up some of his peoples and took to the streets in search of Offset and posted a video of themselves calling him out as they stalked a location where Offset was supposedly laying up at. Talking about the situation and calling Offset out, the crew seemed like they were ready for whatever, but luckily, for everyone, nothing actually went down.

We’re not sure where they got their intel from but Offset wasn’t anywhere near that spot as the man was off on his grizzly living his best life. Responding to Petty and his crew’s video, Offset uploaded a video of himself laughing off the threats as he got off a private jet. “These ni**as is broke,” he said in the video.

Yeah, we’re not feeling how this situation is unfolding now. It’s one thing to have Cardi and Nicki throw shade and subliminals on records, but once their hubby’s begin to taunt each other on some street ish, that might turn into a tragic situation at some point. Cooler heads need to prevail for the sake of everyone involved.
What do y’all think of this situation? Sound off in the comments section below.

Coach Prime and his Colorado Buffaloes are the hottest ticket in College Football and bring out all the stars to see them play.
This past weekend in Boulder, Colorado, all eyes were on a College Football rivalry matchup that generally wouldn’t even register on any sports fan’s radars.

If you needed more proof that Coach Prime and his newly revamped Colorado Buffaloes are that team, you had to look no further than what went down at Folsom Field.
Before the game kicked off, ESPN’s College Gameday was on site for the matchup between Colorado and Colorado St. that already had enough fireworks leading into the night thanks to some comments from Colorado State’s head coach.
Along with the College Gameday crew, former WWE Superstar turned Hollywood actor The Rock was on hand to support his “brother” and get the crowd even more excited for the rivalry matchup.

Once the sun set, it was time to hit the field, and Coach Prime and his team were led out on the field by Lil Wayne, who also performed his song “Ride For My N****z.”

Before the game, Coach Prime blessed Weezy with his own Buffaloes jersey during the tailgate celebration.

Other Notable Guests In The Building
Weezy and The Rock were not the only big names in the building. Fresh off his marathon stream with Kai Cenat, Offset was on hand. Rapper-turned-sports commentator Cam’ron also returned to Colorado to enjoy the game.

Even Kawhi Leonard, who many were saying jokingly doesn’t attend Los Angeles Clippers games, had to see what the big deal about the Colorado Buffaloes football under Coach Prime’s leadership is all about.

The Colorado Buffaloes are currently 3-0 after defeating Colorado St. in overtime, led by Coach Prime’s son, Shedeur Stephens. A stark difference from their 1-8 record last year. The team is currently ranked 19th in the nation.
We expect to see more big names at Colorado Buffaloes home games for the rest of the season because they have become must-see television.

Offset is readying the masses for a new album and he’s taking some inspiration from one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Channeling Michael Jackson, Offset announced a new album, the cleverly titled SET IT OFF, and dropped a new video inspired by the late King of Pop’s “Thriller” video along with other classic MJ moments.
With the announcement of SET IT OFF coming by way of his social media pages, Offset upped the ante by also dropping a new video for the album’s first single, “Fan,” which is directed by the rapper. Joining him in the video is Everybody Loves Chris star Paige Hurd, who plays Set’s love interest.

The song also references the recent Kai Cenat incident in New York where a giveaway event led to riots and the arrest of the social media star and streamer. Cenat also makes an appearance in the video in several instances.
Much isn’t known about SET IT OFF but it will mark the second solo album from the Migos co-star. Recently, Quavo dropped his latest solo album, Rocket Power, dedicated to the memory of Takeoff.
SET IT OFF drops on October 13.

Check out the video for “Fan” below.

SZA is one of the hottest artists out, musically and physically. So it’s no surprise that Kai Cenat tried to shoot his shot, and unfortunately, it failed epically for him.

Spotted on HipHopDx, popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat decided to shoot his shot at TDE R&B artist SZA with some help from Cardi B’s boo, Offset.

The Migos member was a guest on Cenat’s Twitch stream last week, where he did his best impression of Alex Hitchens by giving Cenat some advice to Cenat to help him spit game to land the big fish, SZA, whom he has a crush on.
Per HipHopDX:
After shaking his head at Kai’s initial idea — which involved messaging SZA: “Hello, how you doing? Dat ass was fat in the last music video” — Offset advised him to slide into SZA’s Instagram DMs in more cool and cryptic fashion.
“That ain’t playa, that ain’t P. You gotta ease your way [in], man,” Set said. “‘I got an idea’… that’s what you say. That’s just to get the little bite. ‘I got an idea’ — it’s simple.”
He cautioned: “But then, see, when you do that, you get the reply? You gotta have an idea.”
Offset’s Advice Backfired For Kai Cenat
In most cases, Offset’s advice might have worked, but it delivered the opposite effect for Cenat. In a follow-up stream, he revealed shooting his shot at the “Good Days” singer didn’t get him her phone number but a lovely block.
“I can’t send any more messages, bro,” he said despondently after spending several moments with his mouth wide open in shock. “On God! I can’t send any more messages, bro!” Centa told his followers.
Cenat held up his phone to his viewers to prove that SZA hit him with a block. The clip went viral online, and someone added Drake’s simp tune, “Marvin’s Room.”

According to the website, Cenat might not be blocked. Instead, he might be the victim of the new Instagram invite feature where he has to be accepted by SZA before he can start conversing with him in the DMs.
So we’re going to keep hope alive for Kai Centat.

After snatching away an Oscar from our beloved Angela Bassett, Jamie Lee Curtis knew she had to do something to get back in the good graces of the culture and as it turns out, Offset might have the answer.

On Monday night (July 24), Offset took to Twitter to promote his upcoming music video which features the Halloween star as the former Migos member recreates a classic James Brown interview from 1988. During an interview on Sonya Live, many viewers witnessed a possibly intoxicated James Brown give the show’s host, Sonya Friedman, a wild interview which Offset does his best to mimic.

After Jamie Lee Curtis asks Offset about his rocky relationship with his wife, Cardi B, Offset goes off the script and avoids answering the question as if he’s not in his right state of mind. He probably wasn’t. Now we all have to wait until July 28th to see the rest of the video and whether or not he addresses the latest controversy his marriage to Cardi B has churned out.
Check out the teaser below and let us know what you expect from Offset come July 28th in the comments section below.

Family ties are hard to break. Offset says that reuniting with Quavo at the BET Awards cleared his soul.

As spotted on Deadline the remaining Migos members came together in honor of their fallen bandmate. The performance came to many as a shock as it had been previously reported that the two were not seeing eye to eye after Takeoff was killed in Houston, Texas on November 1, 2022. He recently did an Instagram Live where he discussed being on stage with Quavo since tragic incident. “I love all my fans. I love y’all. We did a BET performance, man. It was iconic, man,” he said. “It cleared my soul. Me and my brother, Quay, man, we put that together within, like, 16 hours, like, 15 hours… We do that ’cause we’re some real stars.”

He went on to further express his pride.  “We do this music. We the greatest group to ever touch the mic. RIP my brother, Take. We did it for my brother, Take. Me and Quay stood tall, brother to brother. And I appreciate everybody for supporting. It was a movie, it was a vibe. We needed that for the culture.” Offset also took the time to give his saviour above all the credit. “Thank God for that moment,” he added. “And like I said, RIP to Take. Y’all know how we coming about my brother. And we did it for Take. That’s our legacy. Migos forever. The greatest group to ever do it.”
