Travis Kelce is enjoying his time with Taylor Swift, despite what anyone has to say. During a Kansas City Chiefs press conference on Friday (Jan. 26), the tight end shared that he and his girlfriend Swift have talked about navigating public attention amid their relationship. “As long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s […]

Taylor Swift‘s relationship with Travis Kelce has been a touchdown for the NFL, which has benefited in multiple ways since the two publicly became an item in the fall. On Sept. 24, the rumored romance between the pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end was seemingly confirmed when Swift was seen cheering on Kelce […]

Travis Kelce‘s dad is recently converted Swiftie — to the extent that he actually didn’t recognize Taylor Swift when he first met her. “When Travis has a lot of friends coming into town to the game, everyone meets at his house, although he’s not there,” Ed Kelce told Audacy’s 92.3 The Fan this week. “Taylor […]

The best thing about bein’ Jason Kelce is the prerogative to have a little fun at football games. And indeed, the Philadelphia Eagles center took the spotlight at the Chiefs-Bills game Sunday (Jan. 21), particularly when cameras captured him hilariously cheering on his little brother Travis — a moment that even Shania Twain is loving.
The elder Kelce brother inspired a myriad of memes after a clip of him — shirtless, armed with a Bud Light, and red in the face from yelling — celebrating one of Travis’ playoff game touchdowns in a box also shared by Taylor Swift went mega viral over the weekend. And one of the most popular posts featured a shoutout to Twain’s iconic song “Man! I Feel Like a Woman,” which peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1999 and has since become a karaoke staple (ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s list of the best bar-stage sing-alongs).

The meme in question found one fan using a picture of Jason as a reaction image to the following scenario: “Shania Twain comes on at the bar: ‘Let’s go girls.’”

In response, Twain herself retweeted the meme Wednesday (Jan. 24) and added three cry-laughing emojis.

Also on Wednesday, Jason opened up about his much talked-about visit to Highmark Stadium in New York. In addition to ditching his shirt, the Philly Specials band member also jumped out of his box suite into the stands to party with Buffalo Bills fans, at one point even lifting up a young Swiftie in the crowd so she could wave at the “Anti-Hero” singer sitting just above.

“I’m not going to lie, I gave Kylie a heads-up,” Jason told Travis on the brothers’ most recent episode of their New Heights podcast. “The moment we get into the suite, I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off and jumping out of that suite.’ And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’”

“She was already telling me to be on my best behavior ’cause we were meeting Taylor, so she’s like, ‘Do not. Be on your best behavior,’” he added as Travis laughed. “I was like, ‘Kylie, the first day I met you I was blackout drunk and fell asleep at the bar. This is part of the charm. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm. I wanna make my best first impression.’”

See Twain’s post below.

When it comes to Travis Kelce‘s relationship with Taylor Swift, the tight end’s teammates are just along for the ride. In a recent interview, Drue Tranquill of the Kansas City Chiefs shared whether the high-profile romance ever comes up among the other players, revealing that the team loves “poking fun” at No. 87.  “It’s interesting,” […]

Stephen A. Smith is leading the charge of “Tayvis” shippers. In a new interview with Howard Stern, the sports TV personality passionately raved about his admiration for both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, pushing back against the radio personality’s insinuation that the Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman is depending on the pop star for a career boost.
In a clip posted to YouTube Wednesday (Jan. 24), Stern quipped to his guest that Kelce “has to marry Taylor Swift” in order to secure a “movie career” and become “bigger than The Rock.” Suffice to say, Smith emphatically disagreed.

“He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, he’s on the verge of potentially being a three-time Super Bowl champion,” the broadcaster pointed out. “Universally recognized as one of the greatest tight ends in the history of . Good looking dude, got style, got flair, got skills. He’s got a future in this business.”

“He’s the total package,” he added. “He’s a really, really good dude.”

Indeed, Kelce and the Chiefs are very much in the running to keep their Super Bowl winning streak going. After triumphing 27-24 over the Buffalo Bills Sunday (Jan. 21) — a game attended by Swift as well as the tight end’s family – Kansas City is set to move forward to the AFC Championship Game this weekend. Should they win against the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens, the Chiefs will then continue on to defend their Lombardi Trophy at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11.

That’s not to say that Smith underestimates the status of Kelce’s superstar girlfriend, however. “Don’t get me wrong, Taylor Swift is a good-looking woman,” he continued on The Howard Stern Show. “She’s an incredible artist – I went to her concert [at SoFi Stadium] with my daughter. Man, Howard, it was off the chain. I loved it. I couldn’t believe how much I loved it.”

“She was phenomenal,” Smith gushed. “I saw Taylor Swift receive a nine-minute standing ovation in between songs … I’m telling you right now, no one was sitting down. Howard, the concert was three and a half hours nonstop, there was no intermission. Are you ready for this? I’m 56 years old. I stood up for the three and a half hours. I never sat down.”

The sports analyst’s conversation with Stern isn’t the first time he’s come to Kelce and Swift’s defense this year. Amid complaints earlier this month from some NFL fans that the “Anti-Hero” singer’s presence at Chiefs games is too distracting, Smith posited on ESPN’s First Take that she’s actually having a “positive impact” on Kelce’s performance.

“She’s going to support her dude,” he said at the time. “To show up at a football game and the cameras are on her — that ain’t her fault! And excuse me, by the way, she went to the games after the concerts. It’s not like she used the games to bump up the concerts. Oh no! Those kids were going to her concerts whether the NFL was promoting her or not!”

Did we lose another recipe? X users believe the Swag Surf has been gentrified after Taylor Swift and co’s flavorless attempt at the dance.
The world’s most famous Chiefs fan, Taylor Swift (insert sarcasm), has become a fixture of NFL Sunday conversations. Usually, most of the conversation is about cameras constantly cutting to Swift and her friends to see the ridiculously popular singer’s reactions to whatever her beau, Travis Kelce, does something on the field.
That continued to be the case during the Chiefs NFL Wild Card matchup with the Miami Dolphins this past weekend. Swift once again went viral for her custom Nike puffer jacket to battle the extreme cold and her flavorless attempt at doing the Swag surf.
A clip shared on the Sunday Night Football official account on X, formerly Twitter, showed the “Bad Blood” singer butchering the dance made famous by Fast Life Yungstaz for their song “Swag Surfin.”

The jokes were immediate, and so were the fears that melanin-deficient publications and websites would somehow credit Taylor Swift for the song’s popularity, and as expected, that happened.
Black Twitter, yes, we are still calling it that was up in arms after Sporting News dropped an article with the headline:
“What is Swag Surfin? Everything to know about Chiefs’ viral dance celebration as Taylor Swift, Donna Kelce participate.”

The article literally broke down the dance and eventually had to be updated with the dance originating in Atlanta.

Even Plies chimed in on the matter.
“I Luv Seeing Taylor Swift & The Kansas City Chiefs Rock Out To “Swag Surfing” On Sundays. But Media Let’s Stop Acting Like They Created It! Let’s Give Props To F.L.Y, Atlanta & The HBCU Community For Birthing The Phenomenon!!” the rapper said in a post on X.

Not one lie detected in Plies post.
We are sure Taylor Swift meant no harm, but boy, did they try it.

2. He definitely tried it

Jason Kelce has officially won over Taylor Swift. On the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce told his older brother that his superstar girlfriend was absolutely enchanted to meet him at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills playoff game Sunday (Jan. 21), where both were in attendance to cheer on the tight end as he helped lead his team to victory.
“Tay said she absolutely loved you,” Travis revealed to the Philadelphia Eagles center in their Wednesday (Jan. 24) episode.

Jason, whose own football season wrapped up earlier this month when the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, shared a box suite at Highmark Stadium in New York with the 34-year-old pop star. Also in the suite were his wife, retired field hockey player Kylie Kelce; Brittany Mahomes, who is married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes; and model-actress Cara Delevingne, one of Swift’s longtime friends.

And while he was neither on the field nor the most famous person in his box, Jason may have been the most memorable part of the game. The 36-year-old athlete went viral several times over for taking off his shirt, guzzling beer, passionately cheering on his brother and jumping out of the suite to join Bills Mafia in the stands.

At one point, Jason picked up an 8-year-old Swiftie and held her up to the box so that the “Anti-Hero” singer could see the little girl’s “I

Jason Kelce melted hearts all over America when at the Chiefs-Bills playoffs game Sunday (Jan. 21), he ran into the stands, scooped up a young Swiftie and held her up to his box suite so that Taylor Swift — who was in attendance at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y., to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce — could see the young girl’s “I

The city of Detroit is on a high as the Detroit Lions are only one more win away from their first ever Super Bowl appearance.
As a city with a team that once went 0-16, the current success has most native Detroiters feeling proud and a little emotional. This is why when Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back, Rachaad White did “The Blade Dance” after scoring a touchdown against the Lions during Sunday’s Lions-Bucs divisional round matchup—the city responded with outrage.

Detroiters have also flooded White’s Instagram comments going in about the perceived “disrespect.”

White later told M-Live reporter Kory Woods that he learned about Icewood from teammate Will Gholston who is from the Detroit area. White is from Kansas City. “(Gholston) did it one time. He got a sack when we played somebody in Tampa. And I was asking him about the dance. I thought it was cool,” White told MLive. “And then he just basically filled me in on where it was from, who it was from and stuff like that. So the biggest thing is they can say what they want to say, but it wasn’t disrespect; it was to pay homage.”
The rapper’s son, known as Lil Blade, responded with a selfie on Instagram, writing, “Idk if I should be happy or irritated @detroitlionsnfl.”

Icewood, considered one of the forefathers of Detroit street rap, popularized the dance with his most successful single, “Boy Would You (Boss Up and Get This Money). Born Darnell Lindsay, Icewood was part of a rap group called The Street Lordz and was slain in a hail of gunfire at the age of 28 in 2005.
The rapper’s life was documented in an episode of TV One’s Sins of the City last year.
The Lions ultimately won the game and are one win away from their first Super Bowl appearance. They take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Jan. 28 in the Bay.
