The perfume currently retails for $112 and is available in two sizes: 50 ML or 100 ML. You can expect notes of candied citrus, orange blossom and a touch of vanilla that you can wear to work, to run errands or on a night out — it’s that versatile.

A community fan page took to X on Thursday (Sept. 28) to share the official commercial with fans of the “Teenage Dream” singer.

”Katy Perry looks STUNNING in the ad campaign for Dolce and Gabbana’s new parfum ‘Devotion’ with Michele Morronne,” the caption says.

Besides helping to find America’s next big artist, the singer has been keeping busy dropping new shoe collections, including chic crocodile booties, which we suggest pairing with the perfume for the ultimate glamourous look.

Pregnant Ciara Will Make You Do a Double Take as She Lip-Syncs to Missy Elliott’s ‘Lose Control’

Missy Elliott‘s opening verse on “Lose Control” has taken on a brand-new meaning for Ciara.

The 37-year-old R&B star, who features on the 2005 hit, took to TikTok on Wednesday to do a little seated dance while showing off her baby bump.

In the video, a pregnant and bare-faced Ciara sips from a cup while dancing to the track. The caption’s video reads, “Friend: Speak life into yourself at all times boo!” with a blank space for “Me (Ciara)” dancing with her curving tummy. Ciara lip-syncs to Elliott’s opening verse — “I got a cute face/ Chubby waist/ Thick legs in shape/ Rump shaking both ways/ Make you do a double take” — and cheekily sticks out her tongue at the end of the video.

This is far from the first time Ciara has danced with her baby bump on display. Shortly after announcing that she was pregnant with a fourth child — her third with husband Russell Wilson — the star made a TikTok of her dancing on Aug. 14 set to her recent single, “How We Roll” with Chris Brown, which contains a nod to the football star.

“Yeah, top off, summer in the wind/ You look at me like that again, we make another kid/ You my heart, I’m your rib,” she lip-synched in the video, stepping away from the camera to dance and rub her baby bump. “If I ever had to for you, I would do a bid/ And I can tell that you’re ready/ Three, two, one, it’s goin’ down like confetti/ Pour the ten to one shots again/ If we film it on the phone, promise that we gonna trend.”

’90 Day Fiance’ Star Yara Zaya Recalls Surprise DM From Rihanna: ‘My Heart Dropped to My Knees’

Rihanna knows a good mom when she sees one! 90 Day Fiancé star Yara Zaya revealed that she once got a sweet DM from the “Where Have You Been” singer with regards to her parenting skills.

“I realized it, I was jumping and I couldn’t breathe, ‘Oh my gosh!’” Zaya recalled in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Zaya was the one who started the exchange, after seeing that the pop star and beauty mogul was expecting once again: “I messaged her to tell her congratulations when she was pregnant, OK? And she messaged me back and say, you’re such a good mom and I wish I could be good mama like you.”

“It was the sweetest message ever,” Zaya’s husband, Jovi Dufren, added.

So how does one respond to a DM from one of the world’s biggest stars? “I would type and delete and type and delete and type and delete,” she said. “I was so excited. My heart dropped to my knees, that was good enough.”

Ultimately, Zaya’s response remains a blur — she remembers sending the Fenty Beauty founder a “thank you” message but nothing else afterward.

Rihanna seems to be knocking motherhood out of the park as well. She and boyfriend A$AP Rocky are parents to their two children, sons RZA Athelston Mayers and Riot Rose Mayers. She welcomed Riot this past summer on Aug. 21 and later unveiled the first photos of him since his birth on Sept. 19, with a stylish family photo shoot by photographer Diggzy.

Britney Spears’ Viral Knife Dance Video Spurs Police Wellness Check

Months after Britney Spears requested fans give her privacy after they reportedly called the cops to her residence, the police performed another wellness check on the “Toxic” singer after her recent social media post went viral for all the wrong reasons.

On Tuesday, the Grammy-winning pop star posted a video to Instagram that showed her dancing and twirling with what appeared to be a kitchen knife in each hand. A now-edited caption for the video reads: “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today !!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon !!!” The post quickly went viral across social media platforms, with some users expressing concern for Britney’s well-being.

According to NBC News, authorities performed a wellness check on the star after fans’ concern gained steam. A source told the outlet that “this is overblown. [Spears] was expressing her freedom as she continues to do.” In all fairness to the “Gimme More” singer, these types of dancing videos have been commonplace on her Instagram feed for years. Nonetheless, the knives are a new addition. In the caption for an Instagram post on Wednesday — this time with knife-less dancing — Spears wrote, “Lighten up about the knives I’m copying Shakira !!!” Her comment was in reference to Shakira’s recent Video Vanguard performance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, during which she danced with knives.

Captain Dean Worthy of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told Billboard: “The Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call from the Los Angeles Police Department SMART team — that’s their Systemwide Mental Assessment Response Team — and they asked us if we would go to Ms. Spears’ residence and perform a check for well-being. This was on the heels of a tip they got not from a fan, but from an individual who is close to Miss Spears and knows her on a personal level that asks that we check her.”

He continued, “We sent one of our sergeants named Sergeant McConville. He’s worked in that area for years. He knows Ms. Spears from prior encounters at the residence. He responded to the house, went through the first security gate. Upon arriving at the second security gate, he was contacted via the intercom system by [Spears’] head of security, who relayed to Sergeant McConville that that she was absolutely fine, that she did not wish to speak with the officer, or have him come in the house, but he was with her and there was absolutely nothing wrong. Her safety was not in jeopardy, from others or self-harm.”

Representatives for Spears did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s request for comment.

Captain Worthy also noted that Spears’ attorney said this was “an overreaction for her expressing herself on social media.” After confirming with “two independent people that closely know [Spears]” that she was of sound mind, “we did our due diligence to check her well-being and we did not believe that she was in any harm whatsoever,” Worthy concluded.

This ordeal is reminiscent of a similar situation in January. After Spears deleted her Instagram page, concerned fans called cops to her house, who then deduced that nothing was wrong. “This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media,” she wrote in a note responding to the impromptu police visit. “During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward. All the love, B.”

This latest brush with law enforcement comes after Spears separated from husband Sam Asghari, who filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. In spite of all the drama, Spears has remained musically active this year. In July, she teamed up with will.i.am for “Mind Your Business,” which peaked at No. 8 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs. Her 2002 film Crossroads is also being re-released in theaters for two days only: Oct. 25 & 28.

Hipgnosis Songs Fund Sets Date For Key Investor Votes

Hipgnosis Songs Fund has set a date of Oct. 26 for its shareholders to vote on the proposed sale of some 29 song catalogs and a separate vote on whether to keep the fund going under founder Merck Mercuriadis‘ advisory, the company said on Thursday (Sept. 29).

Earlier this month, Hipgnosis announced its plans to sell a package of assets that includes rights to songs performed by Shakira, Barry Manilow, Rick James and others to its sister fund — the privately held Blackstone-backed entity, Hipgnosis Songs Capital — for $440 million.

Hipgnosis Songs Fund — or SONG, as it’s abbreviated on the London Stock Exchange — has struggled with a sagging share price that values the company at a discount to its assets’ worth. The Oct. 26 shareholder vote represents a key milestone in the young company’s five-year lifespan.

In its statement on Thursday, Hipgnosis Songs Fund’s board said it’s in talks with third parties to consider outside bids for the package of assets, with those discussions set to resolve by Oct. 23. The board previously said it would use proceeds of any asset sales to buy back up to $180 million of the company’s stock and pay down its revolving debt balance, two measures aimed at achieving a “re-rating of the share price.”

If a majority of shareholders vote “yes” on the company’s continuation vote, the board has committed to holding the next continuation vote in January 2026, followed by a third in 2028.

The board also said that if the discount between Hipgnosis Songs Fund’s share price and operative net asset value reaches 10% or more on average over the month of January 2025, it will terminate its investment advisory agreement with Mercuriadis’ Hipgnosis Song Management. The agreement with the founder as an investment advisor will be “terminable by the company on 12 months’ notice,” according to the statement.

The board added that chair Andrew Sutch will retire as a director before the next annual meeting in 2024, and that Andrew Wilkinson will retire from his director role by the end of this year. Cindy Rampersaud will take Wilkinson’s place after he retires. The departures mean Hipgnosis Songs Fund will have five directors in the future.

In a vote of support for retaining Mercuriadis’ Hipgnosis Song Management as SONG’s investment adviser, the board said its approach had led to a 44% total return on the 29 music catalogs that Hipgnosis Songs Fund proposes to sell to its private sister fund since the initial dates of purchase.

“The board and the investment adviser firmly believe that the company has a unique portfolio of iconic, culturally significant songs that will deliver strong long-term value as they benefit from the structural tailwinds in the music industry,” according to the statement. “Furthermore, the board believes that the investment adviser’s approach to song management should enable the company to outperform the wider music market.”

In his upcoming interview with the Venezuelan singer/songwriter, the two South American artists will discuss Yatra’s creative process, his foray into the film industry, and how a multi-hyphenate artist manages success in a highly demanding Latin pop world. Topics will range from what inspires him and sparks curiosity, planning vs. flowing, mental health, tennis, and the power of one’s voice. The “Tacones Rojos” singer will also reveal what’s next for him.

Yatra continues his skyward ascent this year. Amid releasing a string of viral singles like “Vagabundo” with Manuel Turizo and Beéle and his latest solo hit “Energía Bacana,” Yatra was selected as the official musical opener for the 2023 U.S. Open tennis tournament. He also received 2023 RIAA Honors for “driving the rise across American music, culture and society,” alongside global icon Gloria Estefan.

Currently, the Medellín artist is in the running for two 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards: Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Solo (in which he will compete against Rosalía, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias and Becky G) and Latin Pop Song of the Year for “Una Noche Sin Pensar.” Last year, Yatra achieved a No. 36 slot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 for “Dos Oruguitas” from Disney’s Encanto and has positioned himself multiple times on Billboard’s Global charts.

In 2022, the moderator and Yatra collaborated on the pop-rock ballad “Ojos Marrones.” Lasso’s “Ojos Marrones” is nominated for three Latin Grammys: record of the year, song of the year, and best pop/rock song. The song also became the Venezuelan artist’s first entry into the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts.

Below watch Lasso and Sebastián’s duet.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony will broadcast live from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Fla., on Thursday (Oct. 5) and will air on Telemundo. It will also broadcast simultaneously on Universo, Peacock, the Telemundo App, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

Afrobeats Fresh Picks of the Month: Patoranking, ODUMODUBLVCK, Juls, Ayra Starr, Khaid & More

Fall is here, and so is a fresh crop of African music releases that’ll help you get into the swing of the new season.

Juls, one of the most sought-after modern Afrobeats producers, tries his hand at palmwine music — which incorporates Portuguese guitars brought from sailors, local West African melodies and Trinidadian calypso rhythms and is named after the traditional homebrew made from the sap of special palm trees — with his latest EP Palmwine Diaries Vol. 1. Rising Nigerian rapper ODUMODUBLVCK also introduces more listeners around the globe to his “okporoko rhythms,” his self-defined genre that blends hip-hop, grime, Afrobeat and progressive R&B.

Meanwhile, young singer Khaid drops another melodic banger, budding superstar Ayra Starr gets more personal than ever (without dropping the energy), BNXN releases another slow-burning single and the fusion of Afrobeats and Latin music continues with another potential hit from Feid and Rema.

We’ve highlighted 10 of our favorite new Afrobeats (and related) songs that have come out roughly within the last month. Check out our latest Fresh Picks, and kick off the new fall season with our latest Spotify playlist below.

Ruger, “Tour”

The Afro-dancehall star reassures his mother that he’s doing well for himself and he’s only concerned about his money on “Tour,” the trap-tinged opener to his latest album RU the World. Ruger recorded “Tour” while shortly after wrapping up his tours in the U.S., Europe and Canada, and he revealed that his righthand producer Kukbeatz “made this beat in the toilet.” But regardless of where the song was made, Ruger’s here to remind everyone that he’s made it.

Patoranking feat. Zion Foster, “Woman of the Year”

Following his and Wande Coal’s 2014 Afropop hit “My Woman, My Everything,” Patoranking delivers yet another sweet ode to women who deserve to be celebrated for their everyday contributions to others’ lives. With a sultry verse from British-Nigerian singer Zion Foster, and Dhannyjazz’s sumptuous saxophone leading the production, the Nigerian star serenades the only lady in his life as a way of thanking her for everything she does for him.

ODUMODUBLVCK, “MC OLUOMO”

The Nigerian rapper gives us a taste of his upcoming EZIOKWU mixtape, due Oct. 6 via NATIVE Records/Def Jam, with his invigorating new single. “MC OLUOMO” first samples a video of a fan jokingly taunting the MC by yelling “Odumodu, on your feet, run!” after the fleeing MC during an event at Lagos State University (LASU). But his hustle, even in the literal sense, comes from his hard work, and he wouldn’t be able to get to the bag without it. ODUMODUBLVCK delivers this message over a flamenco-esque drill beat, a taste of his unique “okporoko rhythms.”

Juls, “Palmwine Riddim”

British-Ghanaian producer Juls set out on a mission to bring his Ghanaian motherland back into the conversation about African popular music with his six-song set, Palmwine Diaries Vol. 1. The first single, “Palmwine Riddim,” is a lilting, laid-back instrumental that pays homage to highlife’s jazzy horns, and even though it incorporates Juls’ harmonies, he lets the music do most of the talking and solidifies its timelessness.

June Freedom, “Say Salud”

The Cape Verdean American artist’s newest single deserves a toast. “Say Salud” is as refreshing as the Dom Pérignon, DeLeón or whatever drink you should be sipping on while getting lost in its irresistible rhythm. “Go-golo, go-golo, go-golo, ah/ You cool my temperature/ Making me sweat like you drippin’ agua/ Hamduli-hamdulilah,” Freedom sings, mesmerized by the way a woman moves (because who could stay still to this song?).

Khaid, “No Time”

Khaid is not reinventing the wheel, but the teenager’s output this year is full of earworm melodies that are irresistible, and his voice has an emotional maturity beyond his years. “No Time” continues his hot streak, which dates back to 2022, and it’s a worthy addition to a catalog that is growing with one formidable banger after another. It should be exciting to see where he goes from here.

BNXN, “Sweet Tea”

BNXN’s work this year has included a series of slow burners, and this one fits the bill as well, with an understated, almost wistful vocal propelled by contemplative production. But his songs often have the ability to fly under the radar until you wonder what, exactly, you’ve spent all day humming, only to revisit them and realize you’ve connected with them on an almost subconscious level. His songs demand repeat listens, and the rewards more than not reveal themselves.

Feid & Rema, “Bubalu”

The fusion of Afrobeats and Latin music, in the broader senses of each, has been steadily gaining in popularity for months now, and this collaboration between two young yet established hitmakers from each sector was always likely to spark interest. But the result is something special, a danceable backbeat with vibes that are through the roof, which should find a home on plenty of dance floors even as the weather gets colder. This heralds a strong future for collaborations like these.

NSG, “NELLA ROSE”

The latest single from the London-based six-piece group has plenty of energy and a fusion vibe, bringing in some amapiano drums to a distinctly British flair, and combining a wordless singalong hook with rapped verses in this cut named for the famous Belgian YouTuber. With a debut album out next month, the group has plenty more where that came from.

Ayra Starr, “Rhythm & Blues”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=9LhvRd8DRfw&version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent

After a breakout year-plus, the young singer decided to show off a more vulnerable side on her latest single. But don’t look at it as a simple R&B love song — there’s plenty of spark and even an urgent vibe to this one, as she sings about the type of relationship that provides energy and creativity rather than stress or anxiety. Perhaps the best thing about Starr’s growing catalog is that there are no limits to her sound — she’s succeeding on her own terms. This one reinforces that notion.
