Adele Stopped Her Vegas Show When She Spotted Her OB-GYN In The Crowd: ‘That Man Delivered My Baby!’

Adele has had a number of special guests come through her Las Vegas residency show, but over the weekend someone stopped by who literally stopped the singer in her tracks. In fan-shot video of the moment during Saturday night’s show, Adele was crooning her hit 2015 single “When We Were Young” while wearing her Morticia Addams Halloween costume when she spotted a very, very special VIP in the crowd.

Adele was walking through the audience when she spotted a familiar face. “Shut up!” she said, breaking the smooth flow of the ballad as she ran over to give the man a hug. “Oh my God! Colin! This is my doctor that gave birth to my baby. I haven’t seen you for years,” she said while bursting into tears as the room broke out in “awwww”s.

Her band kept playing, but Adele gave up on continuing the song as she chatted with the MD, eventually returning to the performance and asking the audience, “Will you sing it for me? That man delivered my baby!” she said of the OB-GYN who delivered her son, Angelo, born in 2012 to the singer and her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.

Adele’s Las Vegas residency has been filled with memorable moments, from the time she stopped it to help a couple with their baby gender reveal to revealing her sciatica diagnosis and calling herself boyfriend Rich Paul’s “wife” at a show last month. She also took a moment on Saturday night to pay tribute to late Friends star Matthew Perry, who died earlier in the day at age 54 of undisclosed causes when he was found floating in his Los Angeles hot tub.

“It is always so shocking, especially someone that made you laugh and who brought so much joy to your life that you don’t know,” she told the crowd at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. “This is what I find so strange, I never met him in my life. There is something, you feel so sad about it especially because you don’t necessarily know what was going on.”

ENHYPEN Named First-Ever Global Ambassador for Top Korean Skincare Brand Dr.Jart+: Exclusive

Korean skincare and beauty have walked alongside K-pop music in becoming global forces in their respective industries. Today, two fan-favorites from South Korea come together in a first-of-its-kind partnership.

Billboard can exclusively reveal that Korean skincare innovators Dr.Jart+ has named boy band ENHYPEN as the brand’s first-ever global ambassador. Kicking off with a new campaign called “Supercharged repair, Cicapair” (referencing Dr.Jart+’s beloved Cicapair line known for utilizing Centella Asiatica Extract, or tiger grass, for soothing and improving damaged skin), ENHYPEN will not only star in a series of new visuals (which you can get a first look at here on Billboard) but a campaign showcasing each member solving a challenge tied to a benefit in the Cicapair line and its next generation for new versions of its existing products.

“We are delighted and honored to become the inaugural global ambassadors for Dr.Jart+,” ENHYPEN says in a statement. “We plan to reveal our most authentic and natural selves with Dr.Jart+. We hope our fans around the world join us in our excitement about this partnership with much more to come soon.”

Dr.Jart+’s Global Brand President Christopher K. Wood adds, “Dr.Jart+ brings joy to its community through its high-performance skincare and whimsical, engaging campaigns. ENHYPEN is the ideal inaugural global ambassador for Dr.Jart+. Together, we share passion for innovation, art, creativity and great skin. We are so excited to welcome ENHYPEN and their fans into the world of Dr.Jart+.”

Indeed, Dr.Jart+ and ENHYPEN share a commonality in quickly crossing over worldwide.

A leader of the K-beauty wave, Dr.Jart+ was one of the first Korean brands to have a presence in America in the late ’00s and now boast dozen of products available in major stores like Sephora. Meanwhile, ENHYPEN members Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Sunghoon, Jake, Sunoo and Ni-ki are part of K-pop‘s next generation of border breakers after smashing into the Billboard charts on the first try with their debut EP, Border: Day One, landing at No. 14 on the World Albums chart in November 2020, before climbing the Billboard 200 with five Top 20 entries to their name, most recently peaking at No. 4 with Dark Blood this year. Plus, after playing arenas on their first U.S. tour in 2022, performing for over 85,000 fans on the U.S. leg of their Fate World Tour that wrapped this month, and becoming Prada global ambassadors after attending their first runway show, ENHYPEN know the art of a good first impression.

“Being the first holds a special significance and is memorable,” says ENHYPEN singer Sunoo. “I’m incredibly grateful for ENHYPEN to have the honor of becoming the first global ambassador of the brand. It’s awesome!” The group leader Jungwon shares, “I was very surprised when I first heard of our collaboration with such a renowned brand. Even now, it’s somewhat surreal that we are the brand’s first global ambassador—I’m more than thrilled for this collaboration.”

The new Dr.Jart+ Cicapair line will be available in November 2023 for South Korea, in December for China, and markets across the United States and Europe in the first half of 2024.

Whether you’re a beauty enthusiast or a hardcore ENGENE—or both—more on the campaign is available at the Dr.Jart+ global ambassador page. Read more from the ENHYPEN members on their skincare journeys, pet peeves against sticky textures and more.

Can you tell us about your personal skincare routines or journeys?

JUNGWON: My fans know that I prefer to keep my skincare routine simple and avoid using multiple products. That’s why I love the Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Gel Cream because it perfectly soothes my skin without the need to apply any other products. The best part is its non-sticky texture.

SUNGHOON: My skin was pretty damaged because we wear makeup often and do activities that can irritate our skin, given the nature of our work. These days, I mainly turn to Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Cream as my moisturizer, and I can feel my skin soothing as the product’s texture effectively adheres to my skin.

Your partnership with Dr.Jart+ debuts with the “Supercharged, repair, Cicapair” campaign. Tell us about preparing for and shooting it?

HEESEUNG: I remember having a lot of fun during the shoot because the idea of using music to convey the essence of skincare was refreshingly unique. We all had a blast.

SUNOO: When you see cosmetics ads, you get to see the brand’s image. Being the one to convey that brand image was an amazing experience for me. To prepare for the shoot, I made sure to test all of the Cicapair products to gain a more comprehensive understanding of them.

Do any of you have a history with Dr.Jart+ products?

JUNGWON: As I recall, I have fond memories of using Dr.Jart+ body lotion when I was young. My mom would apply the lotion to my skin after I finished taking a shower. Perhaps that’s why Dr.Jart+ feels like my childhood friend that has grown up with me and will continue to be by my side.

JAY: My favorite product has to be the Dermask that I started using during childhood. I liked that it gave me the impression it’s good for my skin and I think my skin is in great condition today because I’ve been loyal to Dr.Jart+ products since I was young.

SUNGHOON: I’ve been using the Dermaclear Micro pH Foam ever since my school days. I love how effectively they cleanse my skin while keeping it perfectly moisturized.

Have you been able to try the products yourselves? Can you recommend some favorites?

JUNGWON: I’ve been using the Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Serum for the past few days, and I’ve experienced excellent moisturization; the green gel is incredibly hydrating. In the past, I used to apply a thick layer of moisturizing cream to keep my skin hydrated, but this product provides deep moisturization with just a small amount and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky.

HEESEUNG: My favorite product is the Cicapair Sleepair Intensive Soothing Repair Mask. It keeps my skin well-hydrated throughout the day, and I absolutely love it. It is an essential product for those with extremely dry skin like me. 100 percent recommend this Sleepair Mask. When you open it, you’ll find a jelly-like, elastic, moisturizing texture. When you apply it, it cools down your skin. Leave it on while you sleep and you’ll see your skin glow. It’s so easy!

JAY: I also tried the Cicapair Sleepair Intensive Soothing Repair Mask. I love a good night’s sleep and prefer not to apply anything stuffy on my face before bed because it doesn’t feel nice the next morning. I tried this product the night before the shoot, and, as you can tell from its name, it is such a great product to apply before sleep. What I value most when choosing cosmetics is a light application, and this product fits the bill.

JAKE: My favorite Dr.Jart+ product is the Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Gel Cream. I typically avoid using sticky creams, but this one has a completely non-sticky texture that I love. I definitely recommend it. It doesn’t feel like I’m applying anything on my skin, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin remains wonderfully hydrated.

SUNGHOON: To prepare for the shoot [with Dr.Jart+], I used a Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Serum Mask last night. When I woke up this morning, my skin felt radiant and refreshed…very satisfied with this product.

SUNOO: I noticed that the Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Cream has a slightly thicker texture compared to other products, but it gives advanced soothing effects better than any other items. The finish it leaves on my skin is remarkable, and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. I feel like my skin was well hydrated after applying this product. What struck me the most was the immediate calming effect upon application. It also strikes a nice balance between oil and water levels, making it suitable for a wide range of skin types. Definitely recommend it as a versatile skincare option, especially as the weather starts to get colder.

NI-KI: I applied the Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Treatment Lotion before going to sleep, and the next day, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin’s hydration after cleansing, I’d like to recommend this lotion.

Fans see ENHYPEN work up a sweat performing on tour and experimenting with beauty and makeup looks for videos and photoshoots. How crucial are good products for your K-pop career?

JAY: I believe it plays a significant role, which is why I prioritize staying well-hydrated and sticking to a thorough cleansing routine. Good skincare and maintaining healthy skin are just as important as achieving a flawless makeup look.

NI-KI: I tend to work up quite a sweat during intense performances at our concerts, so I often apply thick makeup to look my best on stage. Given this, I pay special attention to my cleansing routine to make sure that my skin is fresh and clean at the end of the day.

JAKE: I’ve been using Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Treatment Lotion often, actually. After cleansing, using a moisturizing lotion is extremely important because I have dry skin due to daily makeup. I feel like my skin is fully moisturized after using this product. Also, when I wake up in the morning, my skin used to feel dry, but after using this product it feels more hydrated. I’m going to keep using this product for a long time.

You release your ORANGE BLOOD album on November 17, just as the new Dr.Jart+ products launch in Korea. Can you share any hints for what fans can expect?

HEESEUNG: As much as ENGENEs and we have eagerly awaited this album, I have no doubt that it will be a sweet album for all. Let’s gaurr!

NI-KI: In comparison to our last album, DARK BLOOD, this upcoming album features songs and performances with a brighter tone. It’s a chance for us to reveal some fresh sides of ourselves and our music. Please stay tuned!

What else is coming from ENHYPEN before the year ends?

JAKE: The most exciting news is that our fifth mini album ORANGE BLOOD is just around the corner. We’re all eagerly anticipating its release and have put our best efforts into it, with our ENGENEs in mind. I’ve mentioned it many times, but I genuinely believe it’s our best album to date.

SUNGHOON: I agree with JAKE, and to expand on that, I think ORANGE BLOOD has by far the best B-side tracks as well. ENGENEs, please look forward to it!

Anything else to share right now?

JUNGWON: ENGENEs! Thanks to your love and support, ENHYPEN have become the global ambassadors for Dr.Jart+. We’re excited to show our authentic selves through this partnership, so please stay tuned for what’s in store!

Charlie Puth Pays Tribute to Matthew Perry With ‘Friends’ Theme Song at Melbourne Show

Charlie Puth was among the many stars and super fans who paid tribute to beloved sitcom actor Matthew Perry over the weekend after the Friends star was found dead on Saturday at age 54 at his home in Los Angeles.

During his show at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday night, Puth got the audience to join him for a piano version of the Rembrandts’ iconic Friends theme song, “I’ll Be there For You.”

“I dedicate this song to another song, so if it makes you think of a person that’s who it’s dedicated to,” Puth told the crowd in fan video of the moment. Puth then began tinkling out the NBC show’s bouncy intro music as the audience joined him in singing the tune’s wistful lyrics, “So no one told you life was gonna be this way/ Your job’s a joke, you’re broke, your love life’s DOA,” he began as his fans took over the “I’ll be there for you” chorus.

Puth then subtly transitioned into his 2015 smash hit single “See You Again” from the Furious 7 soundtrack, the Wiz Khalifa collab that served as a tribute to late Fast & Furious star Paul Walker; the song was both mens’ biggest hit to date, spending 12 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

A number of artists paid tribute to Perry over the weekend after the sitcom star was reportedly found dead in his hot tub; at press time no cause of death has been announced. Adele honored Perry during one of her Las Vegas residency shows this weekend, telling the crowd, “I’ll remember that character for the rest of my life,” Adele said of Perry’s Friends character Chandler Bing. “He’s probably the best comedic character of all time.”

Taylor Swift Eyes Trifecta On U.K. Singles Chart

The Taylor Swift takeover is in full swing on the U.K. chart blast.

Based on sales and streaming data for the first 48 hours in the U.K. chart week, Swift is on track to nab the top three spots with songs from 1989 (Taylor’s Version): “Slut,” “Style” and “Is It Over Now,” respectively.

According to the Official Charts Company, just over 200 chart units separate the three songs at this early stage in the chart cycle.

Swift couldn’t possibly do any better. Unlike Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, the OCC‘s chart rules dictate that a maximum of three tracks by the same artist can impact the top 100 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart.

“Slut,” written by Taylor, Jack Antonoff and Patrik Berger, and “Is It Over Now,” written by Taylor and Antonoff, are two of the album’s five “Vault” tracks, works that were written during the original 1989 sessions, but never made it to the finished version (for the record: 1989 logged one week at the U.K. chart summit in 2014).

The original cut of “Style,” written by Taylor, Max Martin, Shellback and Ali Payami, was released as the third single from first version of 1989, and peaked at No. 21 in the U.K.

The fresh album (via EMI in the U.K.) features newly recorded editions of all 13 original songs, plus three bonus tracks (“Wonderland,” “New Romantics” and “You Are In Love”) and the “Vault” tracks (“Is It Over Now?,” “Now That We Don’t Talk,” “Say Don’t Go,” “Suburban Legends” and “Slut”).

Swift already has 23 top 10 singles in the U.K., including two No. 1s: “Look What You Made Me Do” (from 2017) and “Anti-Hero” (2022). The extend to which she expands on that tally will be revealed late Friday, Nov. 3, when the Official U.K. Singles Chart is published in full.

Thanks to the Taylor Swift effect, Kenya Grace’s three-week reign with “Strangers” (FFRR) looks set to come to a halt. It’s down 1-5 on the First Look chart, just behind Casso, Raye and D-Block Europe’s “Prada” (Ministry of Sound), set to dip 2-4.

BTS’s Jung Kook Makes U.K. Chart History With ‘Too Much’

As a member of BTS, Jung Kook sets records for fun. The K-pop star is doing it solo, too.

With “Too Much” (via Columbia) entering the Official U.K. Singles Chart at No. 10, Jung Kook becomes the first South Korean solo artist to land three U.K. top 10 singles.

Until now, PSY had the record with two top 10s — “Gangnam Style” (peaking at No. 1 in 2012) and “Gentleman” (No. 10 in 2013).

“Too Much,” recorded with Australian rapper and singer The Kid LAROI and British rapper Central Cee, is the highest entry on the latest singles survey, published Friday, Oct. 27.

It’s Jung Kook’s third top tier effort, after “Seven” featuring Latto (peaking at No. 3) and Jack Harlow collab “3D” (peaking at No. 5), both from 2023.

Released ahead of Jung Kook’s debut solo album Golden, due out Nov. 3, “Too Much” is LAROI’s third and Central Cee’s seventh U.K. top 10, including his 10-week reign with “Sprinter.”

As a member of BTS, Jung Kook has secured four top 10 singles: “Life Goes On” (peaking at No. 10); and “Dynamite,” “Butter” and Coldplay team-up “My Universe,” all peaking at No. 3. On the national albums survey, BTS has collected five top 10s, including two No. 1s (Map of the Soul – Persona and Map of the Soul – 7).

At the top of the pile is Kenya Grace’s “Strangers” (via FFRR), which wins a tight race for its third week at No. 1.

“Strangers” narrowly led by midweek chart, ahead of Cassö, RAYE and D-Block Europe’s “Prada” (Ministry of Sound). And that’s how the chart week ended, with the bouncy dance track “Prada” unchanged at No. 2.

The top three is closed out by a resurgent “Cruel Summer” (EMI) by Taylor Swift, up 14-3 in its 20th week on the chart. “Cruel Summer” heats up thanks to a new live cut, released to coincide with box-office blockbuster The Eras Tour Film.

Finally, Troye Sivan has another reason to smile as ”One of Your Girls” (Polydor) lifts 17-11. Lifted from his third and latest album, Something to Give Each Other, ”One of Your Girls” becomes the Australian pop artist’s highest-peaking U.K. single as a solo artist.

Bella Noche party

Club Bella Noche is still getting motion. The Baton Rouge club is still lit, per X, formerly known as Twitter, as video footage of party night during LSU Homecoming has gone viral.

But first, you might need background on Bella Noche. Eight years ago, Hazel London, and her homegirl Jerhonda Henderson, were the guests at a wedding that was marred by a shooting. The location of the ill-fated nuptials was Bella Noche, and London was absolutely flummoxed that a good time was ruined by a shooting outside the venue and she let local news station WBRZ know exactly why.

“It’s upsetting me and my homegirl cause we feel like, Well damn if you can’t go to Bella Noches [sic], where the hell couls you go?!,” she said, her charismatic delivery quickly making the vid go viral.

Fast forward to 2023, and clearly Bella Noche is still lit. As reported by Madame Noire, a new clip of an assembled crowd of partygoers having an absolute blast at the infamous venue has gone viral in 2023.

The video of a Saturday night (Oct. 21) party features BBE AJ performing his “SlaughterHouse 3’Mix” in a bright yellow Moschino sweatshirt, a partygoer with a whistle (who is on beat) and a jam-packed crowd bouncing along.

If Bella Noche is like this every weekend, book it as a destination. Hopefull the whole guns in the parking lot vibes have settled. We understand now, Hazel London, and her homegirl Jerhonda Henderson, we understand. Peep more reactions in the gallery.

Rolling Stones Shine at No. 1 In U.K. With ‘Hackney Diamonds’

The unstoppable force that is the Rolling Stones reigns over the latest U.K. chart, with Hackney Diamonds (via Polydor).

Mick Jagger and Co. debut at the summit of the Official U.K. Albums Chart, published Friday, Oct. 27, with Hackney Diamonds, which clocks 72,200 chart units in its first week, the Official Charts Company reports.

That’s the third biggest week of sales for an album of 2023 so far, according to the OCC, behind only Lewis Capaldi’s Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent, and Ed Sheeran’s – (subtract).

The outright leader at the midweek stage, Hackney Diamonds outsells the rest of the top 5 combined to snag the Stones’ 14th U.K. No. 1.

With 11 different studio collections reaching the chart summit, the Rolling Stones are now part of the club of acts with the most studio albums to reach No. 1, joining the Beatles, Robbie Williams, and Bruce Springsteen.

Including greatest hits albums, reissues and live albums, the Stones are now equal with Williams on 14 No. 1 albums, a list that’s led by the Beatles with 16.

Hackney Diamonds is also the best-seller on wax to lead this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart.

Featuring collaborations with Lady Gaga, Elton John Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney, and contributions from former bass player Bill Wyman and the group’s late drummer Charlie Watts, Hackney Diamonds is the Stones’ first album of original material in 18 years– since A Bigger Bang, which peaked to No. 2 in 2005

Meanwhile, Blink-182 enjoys a No. 2 debut with One More Time…(Columbia) the reunited pop-punk band’s ninth studio album. One More Time…, which sees original guitarist and singer Tom DeLonge return to the fold, with singer/bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker, becomes their career peak in the U.K. for the classic lineup, improving on the No. 4 for 2001’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. The trio did lead the Official U.K. Albums Chart in 2016 with California, which featured Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba as the replacement for DeLonge.

Completing an all-new top three is Bombay Bicycle Club’s My Big Day (AWAL/MMM), new at No. 3. My Big Day is the British indie band’s fifth top 10 appearance on the albums tally, a list that includes a leader with 2014’s So Long, See You Tomorrow.

Further down the list, new releases from Barry Can’t Swim (When Will We Land? at No. 12 via Ninja Tune), Richard Hawley (Now Then: The Very Best of Richard Hawley at No. 15 via BMG), Sampha (Lahai at No. 21 via Young) and NSG (AREA BOYZ at No. 28 via NSG Entertainment) land top 40 debuts.

Taylor Swift Sends Diane Warren Flowers in Honor of ‘Say Don’t Go’: See Her Note

Taylor Swift sent a sweet note of appreciation to songwriter Diane Warren, who co-wrote the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) vault track “Say Don’t Go” with her.

“Diane, It was a dream come true to write with you. I hope you love ‘Say Don’t Go’ as much as I do!! Sending the biggest hug to you! Love, Taylor,” Swift penned. Warren shared a snapshot of the letter, and a glimpse at the flowers that came along with it, on Instagram Sunday (Oct. 29).

“Just got this from @taylorswift. Not the cat, I already had that. If U want to know why she is the biggest artist on the planet, this kind of kind gesture is one more reason why,” wrote Warren.

“Say Don’t Go” was written at the end of 2013, and a demo with Swift playing acoustic guitar was recorded on New Year’s Day 2014, but the ballad didn’t make it onto the original track list of 2014’s original release of 1989.

After fans heard it for the first time thanks to its inclusion as one of five “From the Vault” tracks on Swift’s re-recorded 1989 (Taylor’s Version), Warren told Rolling Stone that the song has the same lyrics she remembers from their co-writing sessions nearly a decade ago. “It still stands,” she says. “It’s timeless.”

“Everything has its time, you know? It took a while to see the light of day, but I’m glad it finally did,” Warren said. “It was worth the wait.”

“She was very particular about how she said certain things,” she added, describing what it was like to co-write with Swift. “It was a really interesting experience. She gets her audience. She’s deeply aware of how her fans want to hear something. I can’t explain it, but that’s probably why she’s the biggest f—ing star in the world.”

Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) sold over 250,000 copies in the U.S. on just its first day of release, according to initial reports to data tracking firm Luminate. After just one day, the album had the third-largest sales week of 2023. Sales of the album will continue to increase in the coming days, with the current tracking week ending on Thursday, Nov. 2.

Ed Sheeran Brings Out Brandon Flowers for Surprise ‘Mr. Brightside’ Performance: ‘My Country’s National Anthem’

Sheeran and Flowers performed a Killers classic, “Mr. Brightside,” which was a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2005.

Introducing The Killers frontman to the stage, Sheeran joked, “We’re gonna sing the song that is essentially like my country’s national anthem.”

Sheeran, who was dressed in a Chucky costume for Halloween weekend, played guitar on “Mr. Brightside” and harmonized on the chorus while Flowers led a massive crowd sing-along.

The two artists then sang together on Sheeran’s “Castle on the Hill,” with Flowers joining on the chorus and getting a turn on the second verse and the bridge. The concert was the last North American date on Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour, which picks back up in Japan on in January.

“Mr. Brightside,” a song that’s stood the test of time on the U.K. charts, appeared on the Las Vegas band’s debut album, Hot Fuss, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and featured additional singles “Somebody Told Me,” “All These Things That I’ve Done” and “Smile Like You Mean It.”

Watch Sheeran and Flowers’ performance of “Mr. Brightside” and “Castle on the Hill” below. Sheeran also popped in at Vegas nightclub performance by The Chainsmokers this weekend, treating the everyone to some unanticipated “Dancing Queen” karaoke. See a clip from The Chainsmokers’ Instagram.
