Looks like Fat Joe and 50 Cent have a bromance going on that wasn’t even fathomable in 2005 as the two former foes-turned-homies continue to enjoy each other’s company at some high-profile sporting events.

Their latest boys night out came at the “Mecca” of basketball, Madison Square Garden. This past Monday (May 6), Joe and 50 took in Game 1 of the Knicks playoff game against the Indiana Pacers alongside some other high-profile celebrities such as Tracy Morgan, Mekai Curtis and others. Gleefully celebrating another Knicks comeback victory, Fat Joe and 50 Cent were seen celebrating on the sidelines as their hometown team continued to defy expectations and collect W’s in the NBA’s elimination tournament.

We have to say we love how far these two have come since their bitter feud back in the mid-2000s. From dropping diss records to publicly taking shots at each other during awards shows, it seemed like these two men were bound to put hands on each other at some point.
Heck, even Tony Yayo said that G-Unit’s realest beef in the street was with Fat Joe’s Terror Squad as Yayo was kicking it with Fat Joe’s righthand man, Pistol Pete. That’s saying something.
Fast forward a few years and Fat Joe and 50 Cent were able to bury the hatchet at a tribute performance for Chris Lighty (RIP) at the BET Hip Hop Awards in 2012. Though they didn’t immediately begin hanging out following the end of the feud, as of late the two men have been spotted rolling together at a few events and even performing at concerts together to show how much they’ve grown in recent years as men and businessmen.

You gotta love it.
If the New York Knicks somehow pull off a miracle and bring a championship to the Big Apple for the first time in decades, these two might have to do a joint concert together to celebrate the achievement and invite the likes of Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, The Lox and other living rappers from Hip-Hop’s golden era.
Don’t expect to see Ja Rule though. Just sayin’.
What do y’all think of 50 Cent and Fat Joe’s seemingly tight relationship these days? Let us know in the comments section below.

When the New York Knicks signed free agent guard Jalen Brunson to a four-year $104 million dollar deal in the summer of 2022, Knicks nation lost it (not in a good way) and wondered what in the hell is the New York Knicks front office doing up there?!

Fast forward a season and a half later and not only is the “pint sized” point guard receiving MVP chants from the Garden faithful, but the man has just rightfully earned himself a spot on the NBA All-Star team for the first time in his young career. ESPN is reporting that yesterday (Feb. 1), Jalen Brunson was named a reserve for this year’s NBA All-Star game in Indiana. And to commemorate the momentous occasion, Jalen Brunson went out and dropped 40 points on the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden and lifted an undermanned Knicks team to a 109 – 1015 win over their one-time rivals.

In the process of helping the Knicks notch the dub, Brunson also lifted the Knicks into second place in the Eastern Conference standings trailing only the Boston Celtics for the number one spot.
In a postgame interview, Jalen Brunson explained just how much this night meant to him.
Per ESPN:
“It was really cool,” Brunson said. “The whole experience. The night. How we won. Obviously, what happened before the game … you always work for certain moments, but you never know how to react when they happen. So it was special.”
Thursday night’s victory was one right out of the same script the Knicks have produced time and again in recent weeks. Brunson was fabulous, powering New York to a win with Julius Randle (shoulder), OG Anunoby (elbow), Mitchell Robinson (ankle) and Quentin Grimes (knee) all missing due to injuries. And a group that plays with relentless energy dominated the glass with a 60-44 edge, which Pacers coach Rick Carlisle deemed as the difference in the outcome.
But, more than anything, this night was about Brunson, the leader of this team who, on virtually every other night, goes out of his way to make things about anyone else.
Put some respeck on his name!
Though Knicks fans know the team is still a piece or two away from a being championship-contending team, Jalen Brunson is giving the fanbase hope that the elusive title is well within reach and has made the team as relevant in that picture as it’s been in decades (sorry, Melo). How it all ends is anyone’s guess, but for now Knicks fans are just enjoying the ride with Jalen Brunson in the driver’s seat.

That being said, should Jalen Brunson actually get serious consideration for the NBA MVP? We certainly seem to think so, but we’re New Yorkers so we’re a bit bias in that regard. Just sayin’.
Check out an emotional Jalen Brunson react to his big night below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

The NBA Playoffs are in full swing and many of the games have been nail-biting thrillers, to say the least. The New York Knicks, one of the marquee teams of the NBA, were thought to be favorites in their series against the Miami Heat but now find themselves down 3-1 in their seven-game series on Monday (May 8).
The drama in the Eastern Conference NBA Playoffs has been high with the Boston Celtics tied 2-2 in their best-of-seven series with the Philadelphia 76ers and in the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets locked in a 2-2 series against the Phoenix Suns. Also last night, the Los Angeles Lakers went up 3-1 in their series against the defending champions, Golden State Warriors.
The Heat, which upset the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks, are continuing their winning ways on the back of the heroics of Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and Bam Adebayo. The Knicks, led by the talented duo of Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson, are now scrambling from behind.
Last night in Miami, the Heat took down the Knicks 109-101 with Butler, back from an injury, scoring 27 points and dropping 10 assists and Adebayo pouring in 23 points and grabbing 13 boards. Brunson led all scorers with 32 points to go along with 11 assists and R.J. Barrett scored 24 points for the Knicks.
The Heat are down a man in their three-point specialist, Tyler Herro, who went down with a broken hand in the Bucks series. However, signs are pointing to the fact he may return but the Heat might not need him at this juncture. The series returns to Madison Square Garden on Wednesday (May 10) as the Knicks hope to salvage their NBA championship hopes.
On Twitter, folks are reacting to the eighth-seeded Heat putting on a clinic against the Knicks. We’ve got those reactions below.

After over a decade of disgust, despair, and disappointment, New York Knicks fans are finally able to celebrate a winning team as last night (April 26) the New York Knickerbockers advanced to the second round of the NBA Playoffs for only the second time this century.

Last night (April 26), New Yorkers celebrated like the Knicks had officially won the NBA title after Jalen Brunson led the team to a 106-95 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers—in the process advancing to the Eastern Conference Semifinals for the first time in a decade. The surprising win comes in the same year that Knicks fans were upset that the team failed to land Donovan Mitchell due to their reluctance to include RJ Barrett in a trade package for the superstar guard and instead signed Jalen Brunson to a 4-year/$104 million contract.

Fans and sports analysts clowned the move as Brunson was basically an unknown at the time living in the shadow of Luka Doncic. But not only did Brunson thrive in the bright lights of Madison Square Garden, he outplayed the Cavs superstar point guard, Donovan Mitchell for most of the first round. Speaking to ESPN, the Knicks point guard who fans now refer to as “HIM” knows just how special the moment is for the team and the city as his father, Rick Brunson, played a few seasons in the Garden himself.
“It’s a really cool experience knowing that my dad played here — he was on that team that got to the Finals,” Brunson said, referring to the 1998-99 team. “It’s special. The connection that me and my dad have, everything, all the full circle, it’s really special.”
While many Knick fans still feel RJ Barrett should’ve been shipped out for Donovan “Spider” Mitchell (especially after having the struggle year he had), the third year shooting guard finally found his footing in the playoffs and contributed to last night’s win with 21 points.
Now that the Knicks have made it out the first round they’ll be reigniting an old rivalry as the Miami Heat have pulled off a surprise of their own by eliminating the number 1 seed in the Milwaukee Bucks and punching their ticket to Madison Square Garden for a second round showdown this Sunday (April 30). While the team will no doubt be ready for Playoff Jimmy Butler and company, the team might be shorthanded as their All-Star Power Forward, Julius Randle re-injured the ankle that kept him off the floor in the final weeks of the NBA season.
Thibodeau said Randle will be reevaluated on Thursday. Randle was in the Knicks’ locker room icing his ankle after the win.
“It starts with holding each other accountable, from the coaching staff to the players,” Brunson said of the Knicks stepping up when a player goes down with an injury. “I think we all trust each other, most importantly, and we get to the point where we have situations like that and things aren’t going according to plan, and we find a way to tough it out and keep moving forward and try not to miss a beat.”

Prayers up for Julius Randle and the New York Knicks as they might need it with Playoff Jimmy looking like Jimmy Jordan out in Miami.
