From Jimin to Jeonghan, Which K-Pop Star Was Best-Dressed at 2023 Paris Fashion Week So Far? Vote!

Not only did Paris Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2023 menswear shows include more representation than ever from South Korea, but its stars also helped set the tone as ongoing evidence of the country’s importance in luxury fashion.

Opening PFW on Jan. 17, 2023, Saint Laurent delivered a show consisting of sleek trench coats and oversize blouses in its signature black and white color palette, with many looks boasting low cuts and ample skin shown despite the cold weather in Paris. Attendees included SEVENTEEN‘s Jeonghan, LØREN and TEN of NCT and WayV, who all embraced the night’s attitude, with the former two draped in chic coats while TEN bared his chest with a V-cut nearly down to his midriff.

After being named Givenchy’s newest global ambassador, Taeyang of BIGBANG returned to Paris again after last attending a show for the fashion house in 2014. With Givenchy creative director Matthew M. Williams’ collection detailed by distressed elements, plus layered hoodies and jackets, Taeyang’s tattered sweater and acid-washed jeans were all perfectly in line at the Jan. 18 showing.

BTS‘ Jimin took his new role as Dior’s global ambassador seriously with a crisp gray suit, while his bandmate J-Hope donned a dark-gray skirt-pant combo. Both looks beautifully matched the theme of elevated classics that Dior men’s artistic director Kim Jones brought to the runway on Jan. 20.

Elsewhere throughout the city of love, KARD‘s BM looked like he could have been part of Kenzo’s colorful Jan. 20 showcase with his vest, scarf and hat combo. Meanwhile, Louis Vuitton global ambassador Jackson Wang’s silhouette-lengthening jacket and J-Hope’s colorful camouflage both hit the mark in Vuitton’s unconventional show that included a performance from Rosalía on Jan. 19.

The Best of K-Pop Stars at Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2023

With more representation than ever, stars from the K-pop world took over the City of Light for Paris Fashion Week with multiple head-turning moments made just from the first week of menswear shows for the Fall/Winter 2023 season.

One of the earlier shows this year, Saint Laurent on Jan. 17, 2023, had a double dose of boy-band power as SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and TEN of NCT and WayV made their Fashion Week debuts, seated alongside Wednesday star Jenna Ortega, Billboard Hot 100 hitmakers Conan Gray and Steve Lacy, as well as Korean singer-songwriter (and BLACKPINK collaborator) LØREN.

The Jan. 20 Dior Homme show was graced not only by the fashion house’s new global brand ambassador Jimin, but his bandmate J-Hope, who sat front row with the likes of Naomi Campbell and J Balvin. Afterward, Jimin told fans via Weverse that he was less nervous and could immerse himself at his first fashion show because of J-Hope’s presence. Undoubtedly, the Jack in the Box rapper brought comfort and confidence after taking over PFW, strutting through several menswear shows throughout the week, including Louis Vuitton and Hermes shows during his first Fashion Week.

Another star making multiple stops through Paris was BM of KARD. After previously walking a Milan Fashion Week, the Korean-American rapper (aka Big Matthew) is no stranger to the fashion world and attended shows for Loewe, Kenzo and Sacai during his return to Paris Fashion Week.

Larry Wilmore to Host the 2023 Podcast Academy Awards

Comedian Larry Wilmore will host this year’s Podcast Academy Awards, known as the Ambies.

The awards show will take place March 7 in Las Vegas at the International Theater, with the ceremony and awards pre-show being livestreamed on Twitch beginning at 4:30 p.m. PT.

Wilmore is currently the host of Black on the Air, a show on The Ringer Podcast Network that has featured guests like Kerry Washington, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Regina Hall, B.J. Novak, Wanda Sykes and Judd Apatow, among others. He is the co-creator of Insecure, with Issa Rae, and Grown-ish, with Kenya Barris.

“Larry’s prolific body of work and unique humor spans the stage, screen and podcasting. To say that we are lucky to have him host this year’s Ambies is an understatement,” said Donald Albright, chairperson of The Podcast Academy and CEO of Tenderfoot TV. “He’s an icon in his own right. We cannot wait to see — and hear — what he will bring to the ceremony.”

At the 2022 Ambie Awards, the podcast 9/12 (Pineapple Street Studios, Amazon Music and Wondery) took home the top prize for podcast of the year. Other winners included Rosamund Pike for her performance in QCode’s Edith and former NPR host Sam Sanders for his work as a host on It’s Been a Minute. The ceremony was hosted at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles.

11 Hits RBD Has to Perform on 2023 Soy Rebelde Tour: The Dream Setlist

This summer, RBD is set to kick off its Soy Rebelde Tour, marking a highly awaited comeback for the group almost 20 years later.

The 26-date trek, produced by Live Nation, will find original members Anahí, Dulce María, Christian Chavez, Maite Perroni and Christopher von Uckermann visiting fans in Mexico, Brazil, and the U.S. across 10 stadiums and 16 arenas. (Alfonso Herrera will not join his bandmates.)

“It’s a new era that makes us really excited and it’s a new opportunity to share the stage once again and feel a unique energy […] Now, the time [for the reunion] is perfect because we’re now more conscious, more mature, we’ll enjoy it from a different perspective now as adults,” Perroni previously told Billboard. 

The group’s last tour grossed a total of $72.5 million and sold more than 1.5 million tickets, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore. With their 2023 stint — which will kick off in El Paso, Texas, at the Sun Bowl Stadium on Aug. 25 — RBD hope to “close a cycle of our lives that was so important and so spectacular,” according to Perroni.

“Our intention this time around is to enjoy it to the fullest, to share, thank everyone and have some sort of closure that I don’t think we had last time around. We had a goodbye tour back then, but it didn’t feel like we really said goodbye,” she noted.

Jacob Collier to Perform at Grammy U Masterclass Event

Five-time Grammy winner Jacob Collier will perform and discuss his career and the power of collaboration at a Grammy U Masterclass on Thursday, Feb. 2 at The Novo at L.A. Live in Los Angeles. The event will be moderated by Jessie Reyez, who collaborated with Collier on a track on his Grammy-nominated album Djesse, Vol. 3. The two budding stars co-wrote and performed “Count the People,” the second track on the album.

Collier, 28, is nominated for two more Grammys this year – album of the year for his work as a featured artist, producer, engineer/mixer and songwriter on Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres, and best arrangement, instruments and vocals for “Never Gonna Be Alone,” a non-album single featuring Lizzy McAlpine and John Mayer.

Collier first gained widespread notice two years ago, when he was a surprise album of the year nominee for his fourth studio album Djesse, Vol. 3. The album didn’t win, but one of the tracks, “He Won’t Hold You,” won best arrangement, instrumental and vocals, and another, “All I Need,” was nominated for best R&B performance.

Reyez, 31, was nominated for a Grammy three years ago for her EP, Being Human in Public, which competed for best urban contemporary album.

The Grammy U Masterclass with Collier, presented by Mastercard, will be livestreamed at 1 p.m. PT on the Grammys’ YouTube and Twitch Channels. Collier is set to perform at 2 p.m. The event will be preceded by a networking mixer featuring a Grammy U member DJ at noon.

03 Greedo Announces He’s ‘Free From Prison’ & Living in a Halfway House

03 Greedo shared the news Sunday that he’s out of prison after serving nearly five years behind bars.

“Yes, I am free from prison but I am still not completely out,” the rapper wrote in a lengthy Instagram note. “For anyone confused I am in a halfway house for up to 6 months with a five minute phone call a week. Where I am I just want to see my daughter and record music. I wish I could have released alot more music while I was away.”

He went on to explain that he carried a “chip on [his] shoulder” because of the situation and would like to “just go record n drop at least 12 tapes before my major album.”

“I honestly just don’t want to talk to alot of people yet,” Greedo added. “I got a lot I want to clear in my head first. So, if I’m not recording with you or laying with you. I’m not inna rush to talk after damn near 5 years. Just being honest!”

He then signed off by thanking his loyal fans and support system for “keeping me alive while I was incarcerated.”

In July 2018 — just one month after dropping his debut album God Level — the rapper born Jason Jamal Jackson was sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges of drug trafficking and possession of a firearm. While serving his sentence, Greedo still managed to release a steady stream of music, including 2019’s Still Summer in the Projects, 2019’s Netflix & Deal with Kenny Beats, 2020’s Load It Up Vol. 01 with Ron-Ron The Producer and “Substance (We Woke Up),” his 2021 collab with Wiz Khalifa.

Miranda Lambert & Jelly Roll Tease Songwriting Collaboration

ACM Triple Crown winner Miranda Lambert and “Son of a Sinner” hitmaker Jelly Roll have been cooking up some new music in the writing room lately — and according to Lambert, the two singer/songwriters “go together like biscuits and gravy!”

Lambert shared a few photos from the writing session that included both Jelly Roll and DJ Telemitry (aka hit writer/producer Jesse Frasure).

“Made a new friend this week!” Lambert captioned the photos. “Jesse was right when he said we go together like biscuits and gravy! Loved writing a tune with @jellyroll615 and @telemitry.”

No word yet on what the collaboration might sound like, but both artists are dedicated to making music their own way and fulfilling their unique artistic visions, with Jelly Roll’s hard-driving rap-rock sound and Lambert’s range from Texas-dipped country tracks like “Tequila Does” to electric tracks like “Locomotive” from her Wildcard album.

Jelly Roll recently earned his first Country Airplay No. 1 with “Son of a Sinner,” which followed his rock chart-topper “Dead Man Walking.” He also headlined a sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena earlier this year, has shared the Grand Ole Opry stage with Craig Morgan and last year, joined Brantley Gilbert and Pillbox Patti on tour.

Meanwhile, reigning ACM entertainer of the year Lambert has been on a songwriting tear as of late. In addition to releasing her album Palomino last year and teaming with Elle King for the Country Airplay No. 1 “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” she’s been steadily writing songs other artists have recorded, including Morgan Wallen’s “Thought You Should Know,” and Jon Pardi’s “Don’t Blame It on Whiskey” (featuring Lauren Alaina).

Interestingly, Jelly Roll was already manifesting a Lambert collab back in September 2022, when he shared with fans on Twitter, saying, “I wanna do a song with @mirandalambert someone please help me meet Miranda please.”

Rauw Alejandro & Baby Rasta’s ‘Punto 40’ Leads Latin Rhythm Airplay Chart

Baby Rasta earns his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart thanks to “Punto 40,” his collaboration with Rauw Alejandro, which rises to the top on the Jan. 28-dated ranking.

“Punto 40” is the second single from Alejandro’s Saturno that debuted at No. 2 on Top Latin Albums last November. The song climbs from No. 6 following a 26% gain in audience impressions, to 7.6 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Jan. 19, according to Luminate.

“Punto 40” gives Baby Rasta his first chart-topper among 20 career entries. The new champ outdoes the Puerto Rican’s highest ranking to date, “Amor Prohibido,” with Gringo, which reached a No. 6 high in 2014. With its ascent, “Punto 40” also sends Feid’s “Normal” to No. 2 after one week in charge (6 million in audience, down 20%).

Alejandro, meanwhile, captures his 10th leader, all dating back just to 2020 with the two-week ruler “TBT,” with Sebastián Yatra and Manuel Turizo. Plus, “Punto 40” arrives eight months after his last, “Te Felicito,” with Shakira, in May 2022. Here’s a look at the hitmaker’s leaderboard:

Here’s How You Pronounce Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott’s Son Aire’s Name

Nearly a year after giving birth to her son with Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner revealed this weekend that he’s named Aire Webster — and now she’s letting fans know how to pronounce the unique name too.

“Do you think it’s pronounced air or airey?” one Instagram fan account asked of the moniker, which means “Lion of God” in Hebrew. Well, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul decided to drop into the comments section to officially set the record straight. “AIR,” she wrote in all caps with a single red-heart emoji.

The grand unveiling of baby Aire’s name came over the weekend along with the very first photos of the little man’s adorable face. The big reveal earned the tot plenty of famous fans, with everyone from Rosalía and SZA to Chloe Bailey and Hailey Bieber cooing over him in the comments section on Jenner’s post.

Upon his February 2022 birth, Jenner and Scott originally announced their son would be named Wolf but retracted the decision weeks later after thinking it over. (“FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore,” the Kardashians star wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”)

In November, Aire’s famous dad was enlisted by pal Future to direct the music video for his newest single “712PM.”

Stevie Nicks Extends 2023 North American Tour With Solo Dates: ‘Surprise!’

Stevie Nicks has some big plans for 2023. The Fleetwood Mac singer first announced tour plans — a small series of co-headlining shows alongside Billy Joel — back in November, and she received so much enthusiasm from fans, she revealed Monday (Jan. 23) that she’s chosen to extend the run of previously announced dates.

“Surprise!” Nicks wrote on Instagram, sharing the official tour poster — a photo of her in a black top hat and matching sheer veil, the tour dates below her — to her Instagram. “Tickets for my 2023 tour go on sale Friday at 10am local time. Which show will we see you at?”

After a March 10 co-headlining show with Joel in Los Angeles, Nicks’ solo trek will officially begin March 15 at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. The White Witch will make stops in Las Vegas, San Francisco, New Orleans, Toronto, Chicago and more before concluding at Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center on June 27.

As for the Grammy winner’s co-headlining dates with the Piano Man, she’ll do nine dates separate from her own solo trek, which are further detailed in her Instagram post.
