Travis Kelce Reveals the Most Famous Person in His Phone … Besides Taylor Swift, Of Course

Millions of Taylor Swift fans and the entirety of Chiefs Kingdom pretty much know exactly who the most famous person in Travis Kelce‘s contact list is. Even so, the tight end laughed off a question about the biggest celebrity in his phone and revealed which person — besides his superstar girlfriend — fits the bill. 

In a video posted to the Kansas City Chiefs’ TikTok on Monday (Jan. 8), Kelce and a few of his teammates were asked to name the numbers of the most A-list stars they have saved on their phones. “You guys know the easy answer,” the Ohio native responded, heavily alluding to Swift. 

Kelce went on to reveal that, second to the “Anti-Hero” singer, the biggest star in his contacts is “JT, Justin Timberlake.” 

But in regards to whether the *NSYNC boy bander would pick up the phone if Kelce were to call right that second, the star said, “Not a chance.” “I appreciate you, Justin,” added the New Heights podcast host. “But he’s a busy man.” 

As famous as Timberlake is, it’s hard to compare with Swift’s current celebrity status, which, if anything, has only been elevated since she started dating Kelce. The pair struck up a romance over the summer, and the 12-time Grammy winner addressed their relationship for the first time in her December TIME Person of the Year cover story. 

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said in the interview. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”  

Kelce and the Chiefs are fresh off a very close victory (13-12) against the Los Angeles Chargers following Sunday’s (Jan. 7) game. That night, Swift attended the Golden Globes alongside her good friend Keleigh Sperry.

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Reach Divorce Settlement

Three months after Maren Morris filed for divorce from her husband of five years, singer/songwriter Ryan Hurd, the couple have reached an agreement. According to People magazine, the former couple reached an accord on all issues regarding their divorce, with the two signing the notarized papers on Dec. 28 and Jan. 4, respectively, according to documents reviewed by the magazine.

At press time spokespeople for Morris and Hurd had not returned Billboard‘s request for comment.

Though the split is still pending until a judge signs off, the papers reportedly find Morris, 33, and Hurd, 37, dividing up their assets based on a property settlement agreement and a prenup they signed in Feb. 2018, which was amended in Oct. 2022. The couple also reportedly reached agreement on plans to evenly split time with their three-and-a-half-year-old son, Hayes Andrew, with Morris set to pay Hurd $2,100 a month in child support. The filing also reportedly noted that both Morris and Hurd had successfully completed a parenting seminar as required by Davidson County for all divorce cases involving a child.

Morris filed for divorce from Hurd in an Oct. 2 complaint in Tennessee state court, noting that the couple were “unable to live together successfully as husband and wife” and were “experiencing irreconcilable differences in their marriage.” Morris and Hurd got married on March 24, 2018 in Nashville and welcomed their son on March 23, 2020.

Before their split, the two collaborated on songs including the 2021 duet, “Chasing After You,” which hit No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. They also co-wrote “Circles Around This Town” and “The Furthest Thing” from Morris’ 2022 Humble Quest album, as well as “All My Favorite People” from her 2018 GIRL LP and “Pass It On” from Hurd’s 2021 Pelago album.

Morris appeared to confirm the divorce settlement last month when she posted a TikTok video in which “The Middle” singer belted out the hook to Tammy Wynette’s iconic 1968 anthem “D-I-V-O-R-C-E,” singing “our D-I-V-O-R-C-E becomes final today.”

Feid & Rema’s ‘Bubalu’ Lands at No. 1 on Latin Airplay Chart

Nigerian Afrobeats rapper-singer-songwriter Rema earns his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart with the Feid collab “Bubalu,” which rises from No. 2 to lead the Jan. 13-dated list. The single is also Rema’s first chart appearance.

The Spanglish “Bubalu,” in which Rema also sings in Spanish for the first time, is the fourth single from Feid’s Mor No Le Temas a La Oscuridad, which rose to No. 4 on Top Latin Albums in October. The song likewise became Rema’s first entry on a Billboard Latin chart when it debuted at No. 39 also in October on the multimetric Hot Latin Songs chart, later peaking at No. 28 (Jan. 6-dated list).

The Afrobeats-permeated “Bubalu” leads the overall Latin Airplay tally with a 14% increase in audience impressions, to 10.8 million, earned in the U.S. during the Dec. 29-Jan. 4 tracking week, according to Luminate.

Keleigh Sperry Jokes She & Taylor Swift Were ‘Romy & Michele’ at the Golden Globes

The Golden Globes was a girls’ night out for pals Taylor Swift and Keleigh Sperry.  

At Sunday night’s (Jan. 7) awards, the two women left behind their partners — Swift is dating Travis Kelce while Sperry is married to Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller — and attended the ceremony on each other’s arms. And the next day, Sperry posted photos on Instagram with the 34-year-old pop star at the show and compared themselves to another set of famous gal pals. 

“Romy and Michele (and Tree) take the globes ❤️,” she captioned the snaps, one of which also featured Tree Paine, Swift’s longtime publicist. 

The 1997 cult classic Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion stars Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow in the titular roles, respectively. The two blonde besties set out to fool their old classmates at their high school reunion into thinking they lead successful lives. 

In one photo, Sperry puts a hand on Swift’s waist as the “Anti-Hero” singer throws her head back laughing. On her Instagram Story, the 31-year-old model-actress — who co-starred in Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me” alongside Teller — shared a mirror selfie of the two women striking a pose in their gowns. 

Swift’s Eras Tour concert film was nominated for cinematic and box office achievement, which ultimately went to Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. Also in the crowd at the awards show was Selena Gomez, who made stops at the 12-time Grammy winner and Sperry’s table — spawning a viral moment in which the Only Murders in the Building star seemingly whispers something juicy to a shocked Swift.

Ed Sheeran, The Killers, Hozier & Tyler Childers to Headline Boston Calling 2024

The year may have just begun, but it’s already time to start thinking about the 2024 music festival season. Boston Calling announced its 2024 lineup via their official Instagram page on Tuesday (Jan. 9), with Ed Sheeran, The Killers, Hozier and Tyler Childers set to headline.

This year’s edition of Boston Calling — which launched in 2013 — will take place over Memorial Day weekend (May 24-26) at Harvard Athletic Complex in Boston. Friday’s lineup will feature Grammy winners Sheeran and Leon Bridges as co-headliners, with additional performers including Mean Girls star Reneé Rapp, 5 Seconds of Summer alum Luke Hemmings, Young the Giant, David Kushner, Keiran Rhodes and Justin Clancy, among others.

Saturday’s lineup sports a pair of guitar-wielding headliners in Childers — who recently enjoyed his first Billboard Hot 100 hit with last year’s Grammy-nominated “In Your Love” (No. 43) — and Trey Anastasio & Classic TAB. Additional Saturday performers include Jessie Murph, d4vd, Cakeswagg, The Red Clay Strays and more.

Finally, Sunday’s performances will be headlined by two Billboard 200-topping contemporary rock superstars: The Killers and Hozier. Boston Calling’s final night will also include performances from Megan Thee Stallion, Chapell Roan, Lovejoy, The Revivalists and several other acts.

Last year’s edition of Boston Calling featured headliners Paramore, Queens of the Stone Age, Alanis Morissette, The National, The Lumineers and Foo Fighters in their first major performance since Taylor Hawkins’ passing.

This summer’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will feature headlining sets from Post Malone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fred Again.. and Pretty Lights. The annual blowout event camping fest on the ‘Roo Farm in Manchester, TN will take place on June 13-16 will also host Megan Thee Stallion, Cage the Elephant, Maggie Rogers, Melanie Martinez, Carly Rae Jepsen, Diplo, T-Pain, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Diplo and Jon Batiste, among many others.

The acts will take to 10 stages for the four-day event featuring sets running into the early morning, as well as sunrise performances. In an announcement on Tuesday morning (Jan. 9), organizers revealed that for the first time in the event’s history the main What Stage will be fired up for a special headlining set on Thursday night by Pretty Lights, who will also return for a second sunrise set on The Other Stage on the final night; Sunday’s lineup will also mark the only 2024 U.S. festival appearance by Fred again..

This year’s SuperJam (June 15) in the That Tent, “One More With Feeling(s) — The Dashboard Confessional Emo Superjam,” will feature a performance from the Chris Carrabba-fronted band with to-be-announced (as well as unannounced) guests.

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Thursday (Jan. 11) at 11 a.m ET, with fans encouraged to sign up now for a pre-sale code here; a public on-sale will follow if any tickets remain. Ticket package options include a 4-day general admission, 4-day GA+, 4-day VIP, 4-day platinum and a variety of other camping and parking options starting at $25 down with a payment plan.

Bonnaroo 2024 will feature more than 150 performances across the campground, 150 food vendors (including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options) and free water stations.

Hot 100 First-Timers: ‘American Idol’ Winner Chayce Beckham Debuts With Breakout Single ‘23’

Chayce Beckham was crowned the winner of ABC’s American Idol in 2021, and now, he’s officially a Billboard Hot 100-charting artist.

The country singer earns his first entry on the Jan. 13-dated chart as “23” debuts at No. 71. It opens with 13.3 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 16%), 4 million official U.S. streams (up 10%) and 1,000 downloads sold in the Dec. 29-Jan. 4 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The song, released in 2021 via 19 Recordings/BMG/Wheelhouse, also holds at its No. 20 high on the Hot Country Songs chart. Radio-wise, it stands at its No. 14 best on Country Airplay.

Beckham performed “23” live on-air during his Idol season. He had written the song a year prior, and became the first champ to win the competition performing an original song.

Beckham, from Apple Valley, Calif., joins a long line of Idol alumni to debut on the Hot 100, a list dating back to Kelly Clarkson’s first-season win in 2002 (when the show aired on Fox). Of the show’s 21 total seasons, 14 winners have charted at least one Hot 100 hit.

The pair revealed that the song will arrive Wednesday (Jan. 10).

It’s the first time the pair has joined forces for a track. Young Miko joins an impressive roster of artists — including Shakira, Peso Pluma, Quevedo and Milo J — who’ve jumped on one of Bizarrap’s zealously streamed music sessions. His collab with Shakira broke numerous records, including earning a staggering 14 Guinness World Records with her “Music Session, Vol. 53,” and a No. 3 spot on Billboard‘s 100 Best Songs of 2023. It also soared on multiple Billboard charts, including Latin Pop Airplay, where it spent 12 weeks at No. 1, and peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200.

The new song will follow Young Miko’s reggaetón banger “Señorita” also starring Wisin, and the club hit “Colmillo,” on which she paired up with superstars Tainy and J Balvin as well as genre pioneers Jowell & Randy.

Young Miko is set to perform in Mexico, making stops in Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City starting March 15. Last year, the wordsmith, who was formerly a tattoo artist, landed on Billboard Latin and Español‘s 50 Best Spanish-language Rappers of All Time; she was also Billboard‘s Latin Rookie of the Year. Hot 100 First-Timers: Sophie Ellis-Bextor Debuts With ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ Thanks to ‘Saltburn’

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been churning out disco-pop hits for more than 20 years, but now she’s a Billboard Hot 100-charting hitmaker for the first time, thanks to the viral success of her 2001 song “Murder on the Dancefloor.”

The song, on Polydor/Republic/UMe, debuts at No. 98 on the Jan. 13-dated Hot 100 with 3.9 million official U.S. streams (up 131%) and 2,000 downloads sold (up 92%) in the Dec. 29-Jan. 4 tracking week, according to Luminate.

“Murder on the Dancefloor” has been surging in popularity in recent weeks thanks to its inclusion in the film Saltburn. The track appears in the final scene of the movie, in which the film’s lead Barry Keoghan dances nude to the song. The scene has resulted in many fans recording their own dances to the track on TikTok.

A portion of the song has soundtracked in more than 200,000 TikTok clips, while a separate version has been used in over 100,000 videos. On Instagram Reels, the song has been used in over 70,000 clips. Ellis-Bextor even hopped on the trend, posting a TikTok of herself dancing to the song on New Year’s Eve, clad in a rainbow-sequined kaftan and wearing a set of antlers.

Beyond the Hot 100, “Murder on the Dancefloor” rises 7-4 for a new high on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

“It actually feels really magical, and if I’m honest, I don’t think I’ve completely processed it really,” Ellis-Bextor told the BBC last week. “It’s a song I’ve been singing for over 20 years. I still love singing it. I love the way people react when I do it live. But for new people to be discovering it, for it to be making new memories with people, is kind of beautiful.”

“Murder on the Dancefloor,” which Ellis-Bextor co-wrote and co-produced with New Radicals’ Gregg Alexander, was a minor hit in the U.S. in 2002. It reached No. 26 on the Dance Club Songs chart and No. 39 on Hot Singles Sales. In her native U.K., though, the song soared to No. 2 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Ellis-Bextor has earned two other chart hits in the U.S.: “Not Giving Up on Love” with Armin Van Buuren reached No. 3 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay in 2011, and Guena LG and Amir Amargan’s “Back 2 Paradise,” on which she’s featured, hit No. 25 on Dance Club Songs in 2014.

In the U.K., she has notched six top 10 hits on the Official UK Singles Chart and five top 10 albums on the Official UK Albums tally.

Ellis-Bextor, from Hounslow, London, has released seven studio albums in her career, most recently Hana last June. The set peaked at No. 8 on the Official UK. Albums Chart.

Sinead O’Connor’s Cause of Death Revealed

London’s Southwark Coroners Court announced on Tuesday (Jan. 9) that beloved “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer Sinéad O’Connor died of natural causes. The Hollywood Reporter reported that the coroner’s office revealed in a statement, “This is to confirm that Ms. O’Connor died of natural causes. The coroner has therefore ceased their involvement in her death. No further comments will be made.”

O’Connor, 56, died in her London home on July 26, where authorities said she was found “unresponsive.” The next day the police announced that they were not treating the singer’s passing as suspicious and had handed the investigation over to the coroner’s office to determine the cause of death.

O’Connor’s family released a statement at the time, which read: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad. Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”

O’Connor released her debut album, the bracing, Grammy-nominated, The Lion and the Cobra, in 1987, featuring the alt radio hits “Mandinka” and “I Want Your (Hands On Me),” followed by her breakthrough 1990 masterpiece, the Grammy-winning I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got. The sophomore effort featured her global breakthrough hit, the No. 1 Prince-written smash “Nothing Compares 2 U,” as well as such enduring favorites as “The Emperor’s New Clothes” and the hypnotic “I Am Stretched on Your Grave.”

An all-star group of artists will pay tribute to O’Connor (and fellow late Irish punk bard Pogues singer Shane MacGowan) at a March 20 show at Carnegie Hall in New York. The show will feature sets from Cat Power, Glen Hansard, Dropkick Murphys, The Mountain Goats, Amanda Palmer and David Gray, among others.
