Here Are the Lyrics to BigXthaPlug’s ‘All the Way’ feat. Bailey Zimmerman

BigXthaPlug is quickly becoming country’s “favorite rapper,” and the rising star teamed up with Bailey Zimmerman for the ultimate cross-genre hit.

“I feel like for the past decade it’s been a lot of mumble rap. People not talking about nothing,” BigXthaPlug told Billboard of his musical inspirations. “I’m talking about something. A lot of the older people who love music, that’s what they grew up on — actual substance. Here’s this young dude that sound old, but he on these young-old beats. I literally mixed everything up so everybody could love it.”

Below, find the lyrics to BigXthaPlug’s “All the Way” featuring Bailey Zimmerman.

Don’t let me down easy, if you’re gonna leave me
Baby, go and leave me all the way
Don’t ask for all your things back, cussin’ out my name, yeah
Just to go and take back what you say
Burn all the bridges, don’t ask forgiveness
Walk away like I’m someone you hate
Don’t let me down easy, if you’re gonna leave me
Baby, go and leave me all the way

Ayy, if it’s over, it’s over, so fuck it
Just don’t act like my love wasn’t nothin’
Like I wasn’t the one you was holdin’ at night
Tellin’ all of your secrets and huggin’
Guess you right, it’s too good to be true
Was a point all I needed was you
But shit, time after time, all this fussin’ and fightin’
It’s time that you do what you do
And it’s cool
Mama said it was fish in the sea, I got lost in the pool
Knew it was comin’, I watched how you move
How you turn your back on me and leave me to lose?
Remember the text, all you said that you’d do
Said that you’d never leave, we would fight ’til it’s due
But as it went on, I was fightin’ for you
Seen the texts’ turn green, why the fuck it ain’t blue?
Guess you done and I get it
Said you stayin’, you wanted my name and you left
So I’m guessin’ that you never meant it
Said you’d try and hold on ’cause the love was so strong
Now I’m standin’ alone this kitchen
Singin’ sad songs, but I’m knowin’ that this shit don’t last long
If you leavin’, then leave ’cause your bags gone
But just know, you can never come back home

Don’t let me down easy, if you’re gonna leave me
Baby, go and leave me all the way
Don’t ask for all your things back, cussin’ out my name, yeah
Just to go and take back what you say
Burn all the bridges, don’t ask forgiveness
Walk away like I’m someone you hate
Don’t let me down easy, if you’re gonna leave me
Baby, go and leave me all the way

Ayy, if you say that you done, ain’t no take backs
Said you fell out of love and I hate that
But see me, I was stuck like a drug
Really fiendin’ for love and somehow, I can’t shake back
When you walked out that door, I was hurtin’
All the dreams in my head, you was perfect
You remember the very first time that we chilled
And I reached for your hand, where them nerves at?
Time repairs and shit, that’s what it do
It be times I be sick, sittin’, thinkin’ ’bout you
It was death do us part ’til you gave me the blues
Really played my heart, left me lost and confused
Thought this shit was fair game, but you made up the rules
On my heart, left a scar and a bruise
Hope that you can stand on all the shit that you did
‘Cause I’m done, yeah, I’m finally through

Don’t let me down easy, if you’re gonna leave me
Baby, go and leave me all the way
Don’t ask for all your things back, cussin’ out my name, yeah
Just to go and take back what you say
Burn all the bridges, don’t ask forgiveness

Tay-K Found Guilty of Murder in Killing of Photographer

Rapper Tay-K has been found guilty of murdering a photographer in 2017, but was acquitted of capital murder.

On Monday (April 14), a jury found the rapper, real name Taymor Mclntyre, guilty of robbing and killing photographer Mark Anthony Saldivar, according to News 4 San Antonio. Prosecutors had argued Mclntyre fatally shot Saldivar after stealing his photography equipment, while defense attorneys contested both the physical evidence and eyewitness testimony, saying they didn’t directly tie Mclntyre to the crime.

Tay-K, who was a minor at the time of the shooting, now faces five to 99 years in prison. Had he been convicted of capital murder, he would have received an automatic life sentence.

The rapper, who rose to fame with the 2017 hit “The Race,” was convicted on a different murder charge in 2019 related to a 2016 home invasion. That case resulted in a 30-year sentence for aggravated robbery, along with an additional 13-year sentence for two other counts of aggravated robbery.

Trending on Billboard

In social media posts from behind bars, the 24-year-old pleaded with the judge in this latest case to give him a second chance.

“I really just need 1 chance @ adulthood,” he wrote in 2023. “I bet if I was a lil white kid they wouldn’t have gave me no 55 years for a crime I was alleged to play the most insignificant role in when I was 16….they woulda rightfully argued that my mind wasn’t fully developed and gave me rehabilitation and a 2nd (1st) chance at adulthood.”

Young Thug ‘UY SCUTI’ Coachella Billboard Hints at May Release Date

Young Thug could be making his official return to music with a new album next month.

Back in March, he attended a Miami Heat game with his girlfriend Mariah the Scientist, where the two held up white Heat jerseys with their names on the back, except Thug’s No. 5 jersey had the words “UY Scuti” on the back. He then tweeted out that he’s “King Spider the biggest star in the world,” which helped fans realize that UY Scuti wasn’t something he made up, but instead is the name of the biggest star in the known universe.

Future also tweeted the phrase a day later, leading fans to believe something from Thug was on the horizon — and that seems to be the case.

Young Thug fan account Thugger Daily is reporting that a new billboard has been spotted near Coachella that says in all-caps: “Universe has been too quiet. Until now. UY SCUTI.” In the lower-right corner of the billboard is a May 2025 release date, with the specific day blacked out.

Trending on Billboard

It’s worth pointing out that May 9 lands on a Friday this year, and that’s the same date the Atlanta rapper and 27 others were taken into custody by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on RICO charges three years ago in 2022.

Aside from a handful of features, Thug hasn’t released any solo music since his release from prison in November. However, the idea of a joint album with him, Future, and Lil Baby has been floated by Baby himself, who said it was Thug’s idea and it’s almost done.

Lady Gaga Says ‘Harlequin’ Is One of Her ‘Proudest Pieces’ Despite Exclusion From Coachella Set

Lady Gaga headlined the first night of Coachella on Friday night (April 11), and while the set was jam-packed with hits from albums like Born This Way, The Fame and her most recent project, Mayhem, fans were quick to notice some albums were missing from the performance.

In a TikTok photo posted by a fan, Gaga is seen in a moment from her Coachella set in which she’s laying among skeletons while buried in the sand. The skeletons were labeled as albums that weren’t featured in her setlist, including 2013’s Artpop, 2016’s Joanne, 2020’s Chromatica and 2024’s Harlequin. “Well Gaga doesn’t remember Artpop and I don’t think she’ll remember Harlequin,” the fan captioned the post, comparing her musical homage to her Joker: Folie à Deux character to Artpop, which is known among pop enthusiasts as a “forgotten” album thanks to a 2019 tweet by the singer.

However, Gaga doesn’t want Harlequin to have the same reputation as Artpop, taking to the comments to write, “Harlequin is one of my proudest pieces of production,” she wrote alongside a black heart emoji. See the TikTok here.

Gaga released Harlequin in September 2024 as a companion album to the Joker: Folie à Deux film, in which she starred Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. The project scored Gaga her third No. 1 on Billboard’s Jazz Albums and Traditional Jazz Albums charts, as Harlequin debuts atop both tallies (dated Oct. 12).

The superstar is set to take the stage again for weekend two of Coachella, headlining the event on Friday (April 18).

DJ Khaled & DESI TRILL Party With Smurfs in Colorful ‘Higher Love’ Music Video Feat. Cardi B

DJ Khaled, Cardi B and DESI TRILL are bringing the party to Smurf Village, with the gang dropping a high-energy music video for “Higher Love” — their soundtrack contribution to the upcoming Smurfs movie starring Rihanna — Monday (April 14).

In the video, the Miami hitmaker sets the scene by vibing to the upbeat track while standing next to a Smurf friend perched on a mushroom. While the “WAP” rapper does not appear in the visual, her opening verse is paired with flamboyant shots of dancers dressed in furry white costumes performing group choreography while towering over the Smurf Village residents, who hang out on stones, grassy areas and more mushroom tops in the colorful landscape.

The song features Indian singers Natania and Subhi on vocals, and in the video, they dance together while performing the track’s hook, which interpolates a line from Belinda Carlisle’s 1987 hit “Heaven Is a Place on Earth.” When a snippet of the song first arrived in a February trailer for Smurfs, many fans thought it was Rih’s voice singing the sample before realizing that it was actually the DESI TRILL artists.

Trending on Billboard

The Fenty mogul is, however, involved in the movie as both a producer and as Smurfette, whom she voices in a cast that also features James Corden, Nick Offerman, JP Karliak, Dan Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Alex Winter, Maya Erskine, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña, Kurt Russell and John Goodman. “When Papa Smurf is mysteriously taken by evil wizards, Razamel and Gargamel, Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a mission into the real world to save him,” reads a description of the film. “With the help of new friends, the Smurfs must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe.”

Smurfs hits theaters July 18. Watch the music video for “Higher Love” from the soundtrack above.

Ja Rule Claps Back at 50 Cent After Irv Gotti Disrespect: ‘Go Ahead and Lie’

Ja Rule has fired back at his longtime nemesis 50 Cent after the latter made disrespectful comments about the late Irv Gotti.

On Sunday, Ja hopped on X to fire a few shots at 50 Cent, who clowned Ja’s appearance on The Breakfast Club last week. During that interview, Ja had told The Breakfast Club that Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff talked him out of fighting with the G-Unit leader after Fif uploaded a picture of himself smoking hookah next to Irv Gotti’s faux gravestone. Ja Rule, who has had beef with 50 Cent dating back years, said the antics made him want to go “nuclear,” which 50 Cent clowned almost immediately.

“The Breakfast Club should be ashamed of themselves asking questions that perpetuate violence,” 50 wrote on IG. “This fool has been ready to go what he calls nuclear for 22 years. LOL.”

50 Cent then continued to clown the late Murder Inc. CEO by adding: “Ya man in my Runtz right now!”

In his tweets, Ja told 50 to “suck my di–” and demanded he shut his mouth until he do something about the people that shot him back in 2000.

“Until you do something to the n—as that shot you you can’t troll no more…,” Ja wrote in the tweets below. “[Laughing face emoji] handle your business chump lmao…”

He went on to say: “@50cent N—a you’re a used car salesman everything you do is trash music 1 good album after that trash liquor trash tv shows yeah I said it TRASH how many times you gonna make the same show that coke stepped on parenting trash character trash n—a you the garbage man.”

Ja closed things out by insinuating 50 Cent cooperated with the feds. “From now on your name boo boo that’s what they called you on the streets right lmfao,” Ja Rule wrote. “Boo boo the fool… [laughing face emoji] 50 cent is a street n—a from Brooklyn you boo boo from Queens… Mc gusto cb4 a– n—a. 50 Cent has yet to respond to Ja Rule’s incendiary allegations, though he’s previously denied snitching on anyone in Murder Inc.

“They’ll say, ‘He a rat’ or, ‘He this, this and that.’ All you gotta do is ask them who I told on?” 50 Cent said on the Cigar Talk podcast in 2020. “I ain’t never told on no n—a in my life.”

Sheryl Crow & LeAnn Rimes Tapped as Mega Mentors for ‘The Voice’ Season 27

The contestants on The Voice are about to get a double dose of female singer-songwriter power when it comes to this season’s guest coaches, with Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes tapping in as Mega Mentors ahead of the fast-approaching playoff round.

As announced Monday (April 14), the “If It Makes You Happy” singer will assist coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé in preparing their teams for the Playoffs, which kick off April 28. Meanwhile, the Mississippi-born country-pop star — who has coached on The Voice UK and The Voice Australia — will mentor John Legend and Adam Levine’s teams.

At this point, each of the four judges has five remaining singers on their rosters. After this round, it’ll be up to them to choose two contestants from their teams to move on to the Live Shows — making the advice of Crow and Rimes even more critical for the competitors hoping to go all the way.

Trending on Billboard

In signing on to assist with season 27, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and “How Do I Live” artist join a long line of A-list musicians who have served as outside mentors. Keith Urban took on the role of mega mentor for season 25, and before him came Wynonna Judd and Reba McEntire. Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Snoop Dogg, Usher, James Taylor and more stars have also lent a hand as Key Advisors in seasons past.

The news comes just over a year after Crow released her 12th studio record, Evolution. The country-rock icon has achieved a total of nine top 10 albums on the Billboard 200.

Rimes last dropped an album in 2022, releasing God’s Work in September of that year. In 2023, she released an extended edition titled God’s Work (Resurrected).
