“Die 4 Me” was released on Friday (Feb. 24), just a week after initially announcing it. “Next Friday I’ve got a little surprise coming,” Halsey wrote on Instagram alongside cover art for the upcoming song. “It’s been long known in my fanbase that there’s a demo of ‘Die For Me’ with just me on it. I performed my verse on the tour all summer long and since so many people have asked for it, I decided to put my full version out as ‘Die 4 Me.’”

“Die For Me” was featured on Malone’s 2019 album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, which spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The Future-assisted track reached No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 2019.

“How Does It Feel” follows the first single (or piece, rather) “Pray It Away” from Chloe’s debut project In Pieces, which arrives in March via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. No exact release date has been announced yet.

In an August interview with Essence, Bailey — who is one half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle — explained that her album is “everything that I’ve been going through, all the tearing down, people underestimating, telling me I can’t do it — all of those things have gone into the music.” She added, “The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It’s me breaking free.”

Chloe embarked on her solo career in 2021, around the time her sister Halle began filming for the live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, in which she plays the lead Ariel. Chloe released her debut solo single “Have Mercy” and performed it at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards just days later.

Jonas Brothers Take Flight on Lofty New Single ‘Wings’: Stream It Now

Jonas Brothers dropped their soaring new single “Wings” on Friday (Feb. 24) via Republic Records.

Taking a cue from the Bee Gees, the pop-rock siblings float over a funky bass line as they deliver chill-inducing harmonies, singing, “You gave me a reason, you got me believin’/ You’re making me say/ You are the wings I need to fly away/ You are the wings I need to fly away/ It was you/ It was you, it was you from the very start/ Oh, always knew/ Always knew, you know, you gave me a reason/ You’ve got me belivin’/ You’re makin’ me say.”

Clocking in at less than two full minutes, “Wings” serves as the first taste of the JoBros forthcoming studio album The Album. In a recent interview with Billboard News, Joe Jonas called the swoon-worthy jam “a good entryway into what you’re gonna hear for the rest of the body of work.”

On Wednesday (Feb. 22), the trio announced they’d be unveiling the complete tracklist for the follow-up to 2019’s Happiness Begins throughout the week to fans who’ve already pre-saved The Album on streaming. Previously confirmed songs on the record include “Montana Sky,” “Vacation Eyes” and “Waffle House.”

The Album was originally slated for a May 5 release date, but the Jonas Brothers updated fans on their official social media accounts late Wednesday night (Feb. 22) that the LP will now arrive one week later than planned on May 12 in order to give it a vinyl release as well.

“Die For You” has been experiencing a recent resurgence on the charts, with the song remaining in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for the last seven weeks (and counting), with a peak position at No. 6. The original “Die For You” comes from The Weeknd’s Billboard 200-topping album Starboy, released in 2016. Grande posted a TikTok video earlier this week of her working on her section of the song. “Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set. This certain exception had to be made….” she captioned the clip, where she’s seen laying down harmonies and cutting vocal takes. The “Creepin’” singer posted her video on his Instagram account with a tearing up emoji.

But their fans can surely save their tears for another day, because the “Die For You” remix has finally arrived!

This marks the fourth time the pop dynamic duo have collaborated together. In 2021, The Weeknd recruited Grande for the Hot 100-topping remix of After Hours‘ “Save Your Tears.” He’s also featured on “Love Me Harder” from Grande’s 2014 sophomore album, My Everything, and “Off the Table” from her most recent album, 2020’s Positions.

“Today, we celebrate the career of a man whom I met 30 years ago when he was a teenager with many dreams,” Santa Rosa said as he presented Manuelle the award. “He approached me asking if he could sing and I remember thinking, that man will be a big deal. 30 years later, we’re celebrating a career that is based on talent. He’s an excellent singer, producer, songwriter. The ones that know him personally also know he’s a great brother, husband and now also grandfather.”

A teary-eyed Manuelle took the stage to give a heartfelt speech: “There are many emotions. First, I’d like to thank the one I think is the best composer, producer, Jesus Christ. Secondly, my family, among them is the man who in 1993 believed in me when no one else did and he produced my first songs, Gilberto Santa Rosa. To my mom, my children, who are my inspiration, my wife, who is the heart of our family. To my fans, the artists that are with me tonight.”

The 2023 Premio Lo Nuestro, which is themed “El Mundo Es Lo Nuestro” (or The World Is Ours), is co-hosted by Colombian pop star Sebastian Yatra, Mexican TV presenter and actress Alejandra Espinoza, Mexican superstar Paulina Rubio, and Adrián Uribe of Univision’s late-night show De Noche Pero Sin Sueño.

In total, 192 artists across diverse musical backgrounds are nominated within 39 categories.

The nominations for the fan-voted Premio Lo Nuestro are based on Uforia radio airplay during the eligibility period of Oct. 1, 2021 through Sept. 30, 2022. Streaming counts and the assessment of a committee of music and entertainment experts also factor in this list.

To complete the look and add a pop of color, the “Levitating” singer painted her nails red and held a heart-shaped red purse. She kept her hair sleek and straight, along with a simple smokey eye for makeup to let the dress do all the talking.

Lipa’s style never goes unnoticed, and last month, the star was announced to be one of four 2023 co-chairs for the prestigious Met Gala, which comes around every first Monday in May. Joining the pop star as fellow co-chairs are Penélope Cruz, Michaela Coel and Roger Federer, a lineup that spans “every realm of popular culture,” according to Vogue. The four of them will assist Anna Wintour in planning a night based around this year’s theme — Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty — which pays tribute to the late German fashion designer.

Following the pop superstar’s appearance at GCDS’ fashion show, fans on Twitter went wild for Lipa’s sheer, lacy look. See some fan reactions below.

Cardi B Surprises Crowd at GloRilla’s New York Concert for ‘Tomorrow 2’

GloRilla made a tour stop in New York City on Wednesday and brought Cardi B out for a surprise performance of their hit collab “Tomorrow 2.”

The “Up” MC’s sudden appearance caused the entire room to erupt into pandemonium as she delivered her verse on the track, rapping, “I know that I’m rich, but I can’t help it, bi—, I’m hood as f—/ I’ve been on these bi—es’ neck so long, sometimes my foot get stuck/ I can’t put you in my business, you might wish me dead tomorrow/ Bi—es be on di– today, sing every word of ‘Up’ tomorrow/ Bi—, I still got cases open, keep your mouth shut tomorrow.”

Released last fall, “Tomorrow 2” ultimately peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning GloRilla the first top 10 hit of her career following her Hitkidd-assisted breakout single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” Since then, the Memphis newcomer has teamed up with Moneybagg Yo for “On Wat U On” and taken aim at haters with the one-off “Internet Trolls.”

Meanwhile, Cardi just dropped a McDonald’s merch line with Offset on the heels of starring in their adorable Valentine’s Day-themed Super Bowl commercial together. The couple also recently hit the stage for a star-studded pre-Super Bowl set that included celeb guests in the audience like Serena Williams and Tiffany Haddish, and Cardi presented the award for best rap album to Kendrick Lamar for Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Lil Wayne Says He Should Be No. 1 on Billboard’s Greatest Rappers List: ‘Who the Hell Is Before Me?’

Billboard / VIBE’s 50 Greatest Rappers of All-Time list continues to spark debate amongst fans and rappers on social media, and now Lil Wayne has chimed in.

The rapper, who came in at No. 7 on the list, told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 this week that he could’ve topped the list. “Man, who the hell is before me? Was the list including all hip-hop, like before and after as well?” he asked. “I can deal with that. I will tell you that I am a motherf—ing one. Everybody whose names you named, they also know I’m number one. Go ask ’em. They know what it is.”

He later discussed his own impact as a force in hip-hop. “Honestly, I would say… there is a point where you look around and you’re like I’m not even sure if anyone’s coming down this road with me,” Wayne revealed. “Any direction I go into, it’s always inspired. Therefore I never feel alone because I always have the inspiration. Inspiration grows and I work with people that love to see growth. I’m fortunate to have these people around me. The last tour I got off was with Blink-182. At the end of the day I find myself at the country music awards and doing tours with Blink 182. There’s not a lot of rappers in this position who can say they’ve done that. I stand alone on that mountain.”

The 22-year-old shared the casting announcement on her Instagram page, with a fitting caption: “Let’s eat,” she wrote, adding turkey, silverware, blood drop and knife emojis. Roth also posted Deadline‘s announcement to his Instagram Stories, along with the mysterious caption “All will be carved.”

While most of the cast is still under wraps, it was revealed that Grey’s Anatomy alum Patrick Dempsey recently joined the ensemble. Spyglass Media will produce the movie, which is scheduled to begin production starting in March.

Thanksgiving is based on a fake trailer made 16 years ago for the Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez double feature Grindhouse, in which a slasher begins to create carving boards of his own from the residents of a Massachusetts town that puts a large emphasis on the Thanksgiving holiday. Details regarding Rae’s and Dempsey’s characters have not been released.

Thanksgiving marks Rae’s second movie, as well as her first foray into the horror genre. The TikTok star previously starred opposite Tanner Buchanan as Padgett Sawyer in 2021’s He’s All That, a gender-swapped remake of the 1999 cult classic She’s All That.
