Do City Girls’ Yung Miami & JT Go On Double Dates Together With Diddy & Lil Uzi Vert?

City Girls‘ JT and Yung Miami are in high-profile relationships of their own — JT with Lil Uzi Vert and Miami with Diddy — so do they ever get together for double dates? The answer just might surprise fans, the girls revealed in the latest episode of Billboard News.

According to JT, planning a meet-up together with their men has never happened. “I don’t even think we think like that,” JT laughed to Billboard News host Catrise J. “Like ‘Y’all wanna go on a double date?’ Like, no. It probably will happen now since you said it!”

While the “Act Up” rappers didn’t have any juicy double-date details to share, Yung Miami did offer up some helpful advice for fans looking to land a man like Diddy, nothing that people initially did not think she was his type when rumors of their relationship started swirling.

“I think that you just gotta be yourself, because people, they gravitate towards real,” she explained. “So many people try to be something they not. You just gotta be yourself. I’m just myself. I’m just that bi–h and that’s how you bag a n—a.

The duo released their third album, RAW, on Oct. 20. The set features lead single “Flashy” with Kim Petras. On why they chose to work with the “Unholy” artist, JT recalled that while recording, they “[were] looking for somebody who would sound good on the record, and Kim Petras, I think she’s dope and she sounds great.” Usher (“Good Love”), Lil Durk (“Static”), Muni Long (“Emotions”) and Juicy J (“Fancy Ass Bitch”) also appear on the album.

2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Red Carpet Photos

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame red carpet welcomed a slew of stars to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Friday (Nov. 3) night to honor the Rock Hall’s Class of 2023.

This year sees the induction of Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners. Additionally, DJ Kool Herc and Link Wray see induction in the musical influence category; Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Taupin enter the ranks in the musical excellence field; and Don Cornelius is inducted with the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The eclectic Rock Hall Class of 2023 brought out performers and presenters who spanned hip-hop, rock, pop, R&B and country: Adam Levine, Brandi Carlile, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Common, Dave Matthews, Elton John, H.E.R., Ice-T, LL Cool J, Miguel, New Edition, Olivia Rodrigo, Queen Latifah, Sia, Stevie Nicks and St. Vincent.

Even before the ceremony started, the Barclays Center was lit. When it was announced that LED wristbands, which were provided for the audience, would factor into Missy Elliott’s performance, the crowd roared its excitement to see the hip-hop trailblazer take the stage.

The night of the show, Kate Bush confirmed she would not be attending.

“I am completely blown away by this huge honour – an award that sits in the big beating heart of the American music industry. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. I never imagined I would be given this wonderful accolade.”

Bush didn’t provide a reason for her absence, but the art rock icon is known as an artist who shies away from the spotlight (not to mention that she doesn’t exactly love flying). “I’m afraid I won’t be able to attend the ceremony tonight, but for me the real honour is knowing that you felt I deserved it.”

Every Time BTS Has Appeared on Late-Night Shows

BTS are no strangers to late-night talk shows, whether its putting on a jaw-dropping performance or showing off their personalities in interviews. Now, the group is joining the late-night scene one at a time, with Jung Kook set to make his solo Tonight Show debut on Monday, Nov. 6, as a guest and performer.

Jung Kook’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon comes just three days after the release of his debut solo studio album, Golden, which arrived first thing Friday (Nov. 3). The new record houses a pair of Billboard Hot 100 top five hits: the Latto-assisted “Seven” (No. 1) and Jack Harlow collaboration “3D” (No. 5). On Monday, Spotify confirmed that “Seven” became the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams in the platform’s history — doing so in just 108 days.

And while it’s Jung Kook’s first time on the late-night stage solo, he’s a veteran to shows like the Tonight Show, The Late Late Show With James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Since 2017, BTS have been regulars on late-night shows, giving their fanbase, affectionately called the ARMY, plenty of content to enjoy.

Kelly Clarkson Is Ready for the Holidays With Jazzy ‘Love, You Didn’t Do Right By Me’ Cover: Watch

With Halloween officially behind us, the holiday season is now in full swing — and so is Kelly Clarkson‘s daily Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The American Idol alum, who earlier this week sank her teeth into a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire,” swapped the spooky vibes for something much lighter and jazzier, delivering her unique take on Rosemary Clooney’s 1954 track “Love—You Didn’t Do Right by Me” on Friday (Nov. 3).

Her band Y’all — which included a pianist, drummer, cellist and bass guitarist this time around — followed Clarkson’s vocals with ease as she hit the track’s soaring high notes and gave special attention during moments that put her stunning vibrato on display.

“Love you didn’t do right by me/ I’m back on the shelf and I’m blaming myself but it’s you/ My one love affair didn’t get anywhere from the start/ To send me a Joe who had winter and snow in his heart wasn’t smart/ Love You didn’t do right by me/ As they say in the song…you done me wrong,” she delicately sang on the chorus of the track.

The song was written by Irving Berlin for the 1954 American musical film White Christmas and was performed by Clooney in the holiday movie. The Christmas classic was directed by Michael Curtiz and starred Bing Crosby, who contributed the title song to the soundtrack.

Clarkson’s latest Kellyoke serves as a warm-up for her next gig as host and performer at NBC’s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center telecast. The program is slated to air on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and will stream on Peacock.

Kate Bush Confirms She Won’t Attend Rock Hall Induction Ceremony: ‘The Real Honour Is Knowing That You Felt I Deserved It’

It looks like Kate Bush will stick to running up hills instead of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame stages. The “Wuthering Heights” singer is set to be honored at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday night (Nov. 3), but a new statement confirms that she will not attend the Barclays Center-hosted celebration.

Bush opened the statement — which was posted to her official artist website — with heartfelt appreciation. “I am completely blown away by this huge honour – an award that sits in the big beating heart of the American music industry,” she wrote. “Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. I never imagined I would be given this wonderful accolade.”

Alongside Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners will all be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year.

“The RRHOF [Rock & Roll Hall of Fame] has welcomed me into the most extraordinary rostrum of overwhelming talent,” she mused. “When I was growing up my hero was Elton John. I pored over his music, longed to be able to play piano like him and longed to write songs that could move people in the way his work moved me.”

Last year, Bush earned a surprise runaway hit in 1985’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God).” The song climbed all the way to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 — becoming the most successful song of her career on the Billboard charts in the process — after it was used in a pivotal scene in season 4 of the Emmy-winning Netflix sci-fi drama Stranger Things. She referenced the phenomenon, writing, “Last year was such a surprisingly successful time for my track [‘Running Up That Hill’] and I’m sure that a lot of you who’ve voted me [into] the RRHOF also drove that track up the charts. Thank you!”

She continued, “I’m afraid I won’t be able to attend the ceremony tonight, but for me the real honour is knowing that you felt I deserved it.”

Bush did not give any explanation for her absence. For all intents and purposes, Bush’s statement acts as a de facto acceptance speech. She made sure to thank her biggest inspirations and closest collaborators, as well as wax poetic about what music means to her.

“Music is at the core of who I am and, like all musicians, being on the journey of trying to create something musically interesting is rife with feelings of doubt and insecurity,” she wrote in closing. “I’m only five foot three, but today I feel a little taller.”

Jung Kook, The Beatles, Olivia Rodrigo & More: Which Is Your Favorite Music Release of the Week?

The first new music Friday of November sees a K-pop star stepping firmly into the spotlight, one of the biggest rock bands of all time using tech to make something old new again, and a recent Billboard chart-topper lending her chops to a blockbuster movie series, with new releases from Jung Kook, The Beatles and Olivia Rodrigo.

Jung Kook’s solo album, Golden, arrived on Friday, making him the final member of BTS to release his own LP. The project is well worth the wait, as the vocalist’s range shines through in his use of poppy hooks and infectious melodies, as seen on lead singles “Seven” and “3D,” but the deeper cuts is where Jung Kook shows his ability to create more intimate moments, like the declarations and breaths on “Closer to You” (created with Major Lazer) and the clear yearning on “Somebody.” With 1 billion Spotify streams for “Seven” already, the BTS star is firmly stepping into solo stardom outside the group.

When news of a “new” song by The Beatles surfaced — featuring all four members and being revived through use of modern technology — fans young and old were tuned in, and it’s no surprise as to why. “Now and Then” reminds listeners of the Fab Four’s innate ability to tug at one’s heartstrings through delicate guitar playing and sentimental lyricism.

Olivia Rodrigo is following in the footsteps of her musical heroes, contributing to The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes original motion picture soundtrack. “Can’t Catch Me Now” taps into the pop star’s acoustic capabilities, telling the story of the film while managing to tie a thread between the stylings of her sophomore album, GUTS.

Here’s How Travis Kelce Reacted When Asked if He’s ‘In Love’ With Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is respecting his relationship with Taylor Swift by keeping matters private.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was out in Germany this week and spoke to the media to preview the Chiefs’ Sunday international game against the Miami Dolphins. When he was asked for an update on his relationship with the “Blank Space” singer, Kelce replied, “The latest status is I got to see her last week. That’s the latest status right there.”

The reporter then asked if the NFL star is “in love,” to which Kelce replied, “I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal.”

While Swift and Kelce have not publicly confirmed the official status of their budding romance, the “Anti-Hero” singer and the athlete were seen interlocking fingers once again as they left Chiefs vs. Chargers game two weeks ago. Earlier in the day, Kelce assisted the Chiefs in defeating Los Angeles 31-17 at Arrowhead Stadium, which Swift watched from a private box suite with Brittany Mahomes, wife of KC quarterback Patrick Mahomes, all while wearing a No. 87 friendship bracelet. The game marked the fourth Chiefs match attended by the 12-time Grammy winner this season.

Swift was also spotted giving Kelce a kiss on the cheek in an Instagram photo posted by wide receiver Mecole Hardman’s girlfriend Chiarah Gordon on Monday (Oct. 23), adding fuel to the fire of relationship rumors between the two superstars.

Here’s Why Fans Think Megan Thee Stallion Is Rapping About a Cheating Ex on ‘Cobra’

On Friday (Nov. 3), Megan Thee Stallion made her solo return to the music scene with “Cobra,” her first unaccompanied non-soundtrack single since Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting her in July 2020.

The new song and video are packed with serpentine imagery, with Megan literally “shedding” her skin in the track’s Douglas Bernardt-helmed clip. Over a beat punctuated by rock guitars, the H-Town Hottie spits, “At night, I’m sittin’ in a dark room thinkin’ / Probably why I always end up drinkin’ / Yes, I’m very depressed / How can somebody so blessed wanna slit they wrist?”

Since the song’s release, fans have latched onto Megan’s intensely vulnerable and revelatory lyrics, commending the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper for her honesty and bravery. “Megan is being extremely vulnerable with this record & I hope we give her, as a Black woman, a safe space that she deserves for sharing this with us through her art form,” wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter). Another user pointed out that “Cobra” follows a long line of emotional deep cuts from Megan, writing, “I’m crying at ppl acting like this Megan first vulnerable song ever made. This how I know yall not listening to her albums.”

“Cobra” boasts two particular revelations that have dominated the social media conversation. First, the “Savage” rapper reveals that she has recently been battling suicidal ideation and alcohol abuse, spitting, “Shit, I’d probably bleed out some Pinot / When they find me, I’m in Valentino / He pourin’ me shots, thinkin’ it’s lit / Hah, little did he know” and “Damn, I finally see it / I’m killin’ myself when b—es would die to be me.”

The other shocking revelation is her claim that one of her ex-partners cheated on her in her own house. “Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, gettin’ his d–k sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin’ / Lord, give me a break, I don’t know how much more of this s–t I can take,” she raps. With some simple calendar math and a bit of sleuthing, Meg’s Hotties seem to think that the cheating ex-partner in question is Pardison “Pardi” Fontaine, a Grammy-winning rapper and songwriter who dated Megan from 2020 to the top of 2023.

Pardi appeared to respond to the infidelity allegations via his Instagram Story, sharing a meme clip of Future saying “It’s an evil world we live in,” followed by an image of a laughing Tristan Thompson. He then limited the comments on his main feed.

Jason Kelce & Philadelphia Eagles Teammates Put Their Spin on ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’

The Philadelphia Eagles are getting into the holiday spirit!

The NFL team’s Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson teamed up this year for their second festive album, A Philly Special Christmas Special, which features a freshly dropped rendition of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

The album is out December 1, and features collaborations with Patti LaBelle and Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, who has been making headlines in recent months due to his blossoming rumored relationship with Taylor Swift. In a new episode of the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast, Travis revealed that he lent his voice to a duet with Jason for the album, but he hasn’t listened to the final version yet. “Dude I do not want to hear myself sing like that. I’ve got more of the rock voice,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end admitted.

Pop Evil Tops Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart With ‘Skeletons’

Pop Evil notches its eighth No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Skeletons,” which rises to the top of the Nov. 11-dated list.

The song is the band’s first leader since “Survivor,” which ruled for two weeks in October 2021. In between, Pop Evil notched a pair of top five hits: “Eye of the Storm” (No. 2, September 2022) and “Paranoid (Crash & Burn)” (No. 5, April 2023).

Pop Evil first reigned on Mainstream Rock Airplay with “Trenches” for four weeks beginning in July 2013. The band is tied with Papa Roach for the seventh-most No. 1s since the start of the 2010s; Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown lead all acts with 14 each in that span.

Concurrently, “Skeletons” lifts 15-13 on the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay chart thanks to 2.2 million audience impressions, up 11% Oct. 27-Nov. 2, according to Luminate. It’s Pop Evil’s highest charting song on the list since “Survivor,” which peaked at No. 11; its all-time best and lone top 10, “Trenches,” reached No. 9.

On the most recently published multimetric Hot Hard Rock Songs chart (dated Nov. 4), “Skeletons” re-entered at No. 24. In addition to its radio airplay, the song earned 170,000 official U.S. streams Oct. 20-26.

“Skeletons” is the title track and third single from Pop Evil’s seventh studio album, following “Eye of the Storm” and “Paranoid (Crash & Burn).” The LP debuted at No. 36 on the Top Album Sales ranking in April and has earned 29,000 equivalent album units to date.
