Tate McRae entered her main pop girl era with “Greedy,” the catchy track that blew up on TikTok upon hitting the platform.

The track, off the 20-year-old singer’s recently released album Think Later, marked the star’s first No. 1 on the Pop Airplay chart. “Greedy,” on RCA Records, has also become McRae’s first top 10 on the all-genre, multi-metric Billboard Hot 100, reaching a No. 7 high to date. It topped the Billboard Global 200 chart for two weeks and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 for one frame each.

Jack Harlow delivered yet another viral hit with “Lovin on Me,” his groovy 2023 single that samples R&B singer Delbert “Dale” Greer’s 1995 track, “Whatever,” in the hook.

Keke Palmer Addresses ‘Trauma’ in Her Private Life, Gets Support From SZA, Teyana Taylor & More

Keke Palmer is taking a moment to shed light on her life and prove that “reality TV” isn’t always reality.

Over the weekend, the multi-hyphenate took to Instagram to share a video of her caring for her son, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, and included a very telling caption about her current situation.

“When reality tv makes everyone believe all celebrities are just one big marketing strategy and scheme but my life is truly unraveling at the seams and I just wear trauma like a Dolce & Gabbana coat because Sharon didn’t raise no bi—,” reads the text over the video, which is set to Nicki Minaj’s Beam Me Up Scotty cut “Seeing Green.”

The 30-year-old’s video comes amid a series of events involving her ex. The pair split earlier in the year after he made a comment on X about Palmer’s attire while attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency. Last month, she was granted a restraining order against Jackson that alleged physical and emotional abuse during their two-year relationship. She maintains sole custody of their 9-month-old son, Leodis.

Palmer seems to be doing her best to keep a sense of humor about everything. In the caption of the video, she wrote, “Alexa, Play Mary J: MY LIFE,” with a few crying laughing emojis.

The actress’ celebrity friends came out to support her in the comments section, with SZA writing, “Exactly she’s an icon and we praying and riding for you regardless !!” Teyana Taylor even shared a reference to Palmer’s “Keep a Bag” nickname, adding, “MY GURLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL … and add a good good purseeeee to make the garments pop cause you in ya bagggggggggg sis!!!”

The rapper was a vision in red for the performance, as she rocked a sparkling red, bell-bottom jumpsuit paired with a red lip and soft, wavy hair. She performed hits like “She Bad” and “Get Up 10,” as seen in clips posted to social media.

Niall Horan, Anitta and Charlie Puth also headlined TikTok In the Mix, which also featured performances from rising stars Isabel LaRosa, Kaliii, LU KALA and Sam Barber as part of TikTok’s emerging artist program, TikTok Elevate. For those unable to attend the event in person, In the Mix was also streamed globally via TikTok Live.

Cardi’s performance comes just days before the star confirmed her split from husband Offset on Monday (Dec. 11). “I’ve been single for a minute now but I have been afraid to like — not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world,” she told fans on Instagram Live. “But I feel like today has been a sign. The last time I got on Live, I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn’t know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign.”

“I wanna start 2024, like, fresh, open,” she added. “I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited.”

Nicki Minaj & 50 Cent Connect for the First Time on New Version of ‘Beep Beep’

With her current momentum on 10, Nicki Minaj opted to crank the decibels even more by enlisting 50 Cent on the newest version of her Pink Friday 2 song “Beep, Beep.”

“#QGTM SOUTHSIDE JAMAICA, QUEENS STAND TF UP!!!!!!!!!!!! He walked on this sh–. YIKESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I am so honored to have him stop by #GagCity!!!! #PinkFriday2,” an excited Minaj exclaimed Monday afternoon (Dec. 11) on Instagram. The small sample finds 50 in his element, spewing aggressive bars alongside Minaj’s braggadocious energy. 

The song is available on Minaj’s website for digital purchase and will hit streaming at midnight on Monday night. Minaj and 50 first teased the collaboration — their first ever — on Friday following the release of Pink Friday 2. After wishing his fellow Queens rep a happy birthday on social media, Minaj swiftly requested 50 to “send that verse in sir.” 

Minaj is keeping her promise of delivering new music shortly after the release of her fifth studio album. Last week on social media, she vowed to drop a song every day until this Friday. “Next week #GagCity welcomes a new edition every day beginning Monday or Tuesday,” Minaj tweeted. “Every day until Friday, you’ll get an [additional] song that completes my fave body of work to date. 4 more songs.”

Pink Friday 2 features Drake, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, J. Cole, Future and more. Minaj praised the latter after notching another fiery collaboration with “Nicki Hendrix” and revealed that the two have another record in the stash.

“Future’s versatility isn’t talked about enough,” Minaj shared on X last week. “And does it all in the most authentic way. While keeping his mystique. “At the end of the day, when you step back and look at it, like, yeah, they deserved a black eye and they got one. They made a mistake,” the singer shared in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson. “So, do I want to hold their head under water and drown them because they made a mistake? No, I think they got the message.”

He added, “Hopefully, other companies get it too but, at the end of the day, I don’t think the punishment that they’ve been getting at this point fits the crime. I would like to see us back on board and become bigger because that’s the America that I want to live in.”

Rock concluded by noting, “There’s nothing wrong with giving a spanking. You don’t spank them for the rest of their life.”

In April, Rock posted a video to his social media accounts wearing a white MAGA hat. “Grandpa’s feeling a bit frisky today,” he shared, adding that he wants to make his message as “clear and concise as possible.” He then shot a semi-automatic rifle at three cases of Bud Light, telling the camera, “F— Bud Light, and f— Anheuser-Busch.”

At the time, in a statement received by Billboard, an Anheuser-Busch spokesperson said, “Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics. From time to time we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”

In July, CNN reported that Kid Rock was still selling Bud Light at his Nashville restaurant. In August, he was pictured enjoying aBud Light at Colt Ford show in Nashville, according to TMZ.

Ciara Gives Birth to Baby No. 4, Third With Russell Wilson: ‘We Love You So Much!’

Ciara has leveled up again in the baby department! The singer-songwriter has given birth to her fourth child — her third with husband Russell Wilson.

The couple made their happy announcement in an Instagram post on Monday (Dec. 11), with a photo of their adorable baby girl, who is dressed in a black onesie with a matching black beanie that features her name: Amora. The couple also revealed the little girl’s full name in the caption, writing, “Amora Princess Wilson … We Love You so much!” The newborn’s weight, the parents revealed, was a healthy 9 lbs 1 oz. The date “12/11/23” is stamped on the little one’s photo.

The pair’s famous friends were quick to congratulate them on the newborn’s arrival.

“Gorgeous baby! Gorgeous mama! Congratulations,” Oprah Winfrey commented on the football player’s post.

“Soooooooooo cute !!” Jennifer Hudson wrote, while Janelle Monae added, “The cheeks?a doll. congratulations!”

The Grammy-winning artist and the NFL star are also parents to 6-year-old daughter Sienna — whose middle name is also “Princess” — and 3-year-old son Win. Ciara also shares son Future Zahir, 9, with ex-fiance Future.

A day before Amora’s arrival, Ciara shared a series of family photos on her Instagram account, showing herself and the kids supporting the Denver Broncos quarterback at a recent game. “3 + 1 [heart-hands emoji],” she captioned the Dec. 10 post.

The 38-year-old singer announced her pregnancy in August. In a video posted to Instagram at the time, Ciara is facing a pool, and as she slowly turns around, her baby bump comes into view. “‘You look at me like that again, we make another kid…,” she captioned the post, quoting lyrics from “How We Roll,” her collaboration with Chris Brown.

Since then, she’s documented her pregnancy by sharing photos of her baby bump on social media, and also proudly put it on display while out. Just days before welcoming Amora, Ciara attended the premiere of The Color Purple in Los Angeles, where she walked the red carpet with her baby bump bare and decorated with gold foil.

Jack Black Joins Jonas Brothers Onstage for ‘Peaches’ Performance

The Jonas Brothers ended their run on The Tour with a very special guest: Jack Black.

The actor surprised the audience during the tour’s final night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday night (Dec. 9). While the brothers were on intermission, Black rose from beneath the stage dressed as his The Super Mario Bros. Movie character Bowser, in a green track suit and red mohawk. The pianist, dressed as Toad, began to play as Black sang “Peaches,: his viral song from the film.

“This song goes out to my one and only true love, Princess Peach,” he told the crowd. “And to my good friends, the Jonas Brothers.”

The School of Rock star notched his first solo entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Peaches,” which peaked at No. 56 on the chart dated April 29, 2023. Black previously appeared on the Hot 100 as half of Tenacious D. Along with Kyle Gass, the comedy-rock duo’s seminal hit “The Pick of Destiny” debuted and peaked at No. 78 in November 2006.

Additionally, Black’s “Peaches” is nominated for a Golden Globe at the 2024 ceremony for best original song – motion picture. Three songs from the Barbie movie — Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night,” Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” and Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken” — are also up for the award, as are Bruce Springsteen’s “Addicted to Romance” from She Came to Me, Lenny Kravitz’s “Road to Freedom” from Rustin.

BTS’ V Shares Emotional Message to ARMY Before Beginning Military Service

V is preparing to enlist in the South Korean military, and took to Weverse on Sunday (Dec. 10) to share an emotional message to BTS’ fans, called the ARMY.

“I will miss you so much,” the note, written in Korean, reads. “Actually, I’m really sad that I can’t make happy memories with my ARMY for the time being […] it’s the hardest not to see the ARMY. I’II be back after 18 months of being healthy, so take care of your ARMY and if you’re looking for something to be happy about every day, cheers! I’m here! I’ll be back!”

“Within 18 months, I’ve prepared a lot of things. Please look forward do it,” the 27-year-old singer added, before concluding, “I’ll really miss you. I love you so much.”

V is fresh off the release of a music video for “Blue,” the fourth single from his debut album, Layover. The set — which includes “Love Me Again,” “Slow Dancing” (plus its piano version), “For Us” and “Rainy Days” — arrived on Sept. 8. 

The K-pop supergroup’s label, Big Hit, shared earlier this month that the final four band members — RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — are beginning their military enlistment process, following Jin, J-Hope and Suga, who are already enlisted. “We ask that you only give a warm send-off and encouragement to RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook with your heart,” the statement read.

South Korea requires an 18-month military service stint for all able-bodied men by the time they turn 28. BTS announced a pause in their group work in October 2022 to allow all the singers to enlist. BTS is expected to reconvene in 2025 when all have completed their duty to country.

A special program highlighting the Rising Sun Rock Festival 2023 in EZO, an all-night outdoor rock festival that took place Aug. 11 and 12 in Hokkaido, Japan, is set to be streamed on RSR’s official YouTube channel for two days on Dec. 22 and 23.

Approximately 64,000 fans flocked to see the festival that featured more than 70 artists performing on five different stages set up near the Tarukawa Pier in Ishikari Bay New Port north of Sapporo. Festival organizers felt determined to present the superb live performances to international audiences, and put together a special program showcasing the best of RSR including 69 songs performed live by 59 acts (Part 1: 23 acts, Part 2: 36 acts), as well as the activities available on-site including the numerous booths for food, drink, and more.

Longtime Hokkaido resident Neil Hartmann, an American multi-hyphenate who emceed the festival in 1999, will report from the festival site in English. The program will stream on YouTube for a total of about eight hours over the two days.
