Rihanna Had a Red Hot Mother’s Day While Out With A$AP Rocky in NYC

Leave it to Rihanna to be the most stylist mom on Mother’s Day.

The “Needed Me” superstar stepped out for a date with partner A$AP Rocky on Sunday night (May 12), as they were photographed getting out of a taxi in New York City. Rihanna paired her freshly blonde locks with a sleek, red Comme des Garçons maxi dress with a slit at the thigh. She completed the look with red mesh gloves, a red lip and a chunky black purse. Rocky, meanwhile, opted for a cozy navy blue cardigan and trousers.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed RZA as first-time parents in May 2022, and then Riot Rose in August 2023.

Earlier this month, for a cover story with Interview magazine, RiRi opened up about the possibility of expanding her family even more. “As many as God wants me to have,” the nine-time Grammy winner told her former stylist Mel Ottenberg in their all-encompassing chat regarding having more children down the line. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

She also shared that baby RZA’s first word was “hey,” among other sweet anecdotes about the toddler. “I used to try to get his attention all the time, and I would say, ‘Hey, hey, hey.’ And one day he said it back to me in the same melody, and I kept singing it and he kept following it over and over again,” she said of the learning process, before revealing his current favorite songs. “Oh my gosh. There’s ‘Penguins Salute.’ There’s ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.’ Oh my gosh. RZA gets really emotional about that. Now he’s really into ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.”

Offset Gifts Cardi B With Three Icy Chains & Bouquets of Flowers for Mother’s Day

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and Offset is making sure Cardi B has plenty of new besties in her life. Set went above and beyond to deliver on Mother’s Day (May 12), as he showered the Bronx rapper with lavish gifts, including three icy diamond chains and enough beautiful flowers to create their own garden.

Cardi was nearly left speechless after she came home to discover the sparkling jewelry and her mansion turned into a botanical garden on Sunday night following a multi-course dinner at Italian hotspot Tucci New York.

“Thank you, babe,” she said in a post to her Instagram Story showcasing the chains from Imperial Jewelry. “I’m so spoiled.”

She continued to gush as rose pedals covered the stairs and bouquets filled the dining room: “I told you I didn’t want any flowers! How beautiful are these? Thank you, babe!”

Cardi then opened a heartwarming card from Offset and their two children, Kulture and Wave. “We love you mommy. Thank you so much for all you do. – Kiari, Kulture and Wave,” the card reads. (Offset’s real name is Kiari Cephus.)

The Grammy-winning rapper also posted her gifts to Instagram. “Spoiled,” she captioned a post features some of the flowers and diamond jewelry on Monday (May 13).

Recent link-ups would indicate that Cardi B and Offset appear to be on good terms once again, and have possibly rekindled their romance.

The couple enjoyed a date night on April 30 as they sat courtside at Madison Square Garden for a New York Knicks playoff game. Earlier in May, they were holding hands following a Met Gala afterparty.

Cardi B declared she was single in December to bring an end to the up-and-down six-year relationship, but things appear to be different this spring.

Cardi and Offset originally tied the knot in 2017, and they share two children together: 5-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari and 2-year-old Wave Set.

Grupo Frontera Announces Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada Tour: Here Are the Dates

Just days after releasing sophomore studio album Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada, Grupo Frontera has unveiled dates for its upcoming tour, set to kick off Aug. 2 in Las Vegas.

The Mexican-American group, known for megahits such as “No Se Va” — the Morat cover that catapulted them to stardom — “Tulum” and “un x100to” will embark on a 38-date trek across the United States, Mexico and Canada. The arena tour, also titled Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada, will visit major U.S. cities including New York (Barclays Center), Dallas (American Airlines Center), Los Angeles (Intuit Dome) and Nashville (Bridgestone Arena). After wrapping the U.S. leg on Oct. 5 at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, the band will head out to Mexico for 10 dates.

After having breakout year in 2022, the six-member group from Texas has since eight songs on the Billboard 100, including top 10 hit “un x100to” with Bad Bunny. The norteño/tejano band’s debut album, Un Comienzo, peaked at No. 4 on the Top Latin Albums chart (dated Aug. 19).

Besides releasing the new album — which includes collabs with acts such as Nicki Nicole, Maluma and Morat — Frontera recently nabbed its eighth No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart thanks to the Christian Nodal-assisted “Ya Pedo Quien Sabe.”

The Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada U.S. Tour general onsale will begin Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com.

Remi Wolf’s Scintillating ‘Toro’ and 4 More Cool New Pop Songs This Week

Coolest Pop Song of the Week: Remi Wolf, “Toro”



In March, Remi Wolf previewed her sophomore album, Big Ideas, with “Cinderella,” a single that wore its audacious instrumentation like a badge of honor. Funk guitar, jazzy synths, big-band horns and whistle blasts are coated in a nostalgic ‘70s glow by Wolf and co-producer Solomonphonic, resulting in a likable track with a lot of whirring parts; “Cinderella” allowed beamed out the personality that has made Wolf a quickly ascending pop star, but also matched its lyrical theme of constant motion with a tireless arrangement.

By contrast, “Toro” — one of two follow-up tracks from Big Ideas released last week, along with “Alone in Miami” — synthesizes the brash charm of “Cinderella” but more firmly centers its pop melodies, letting Wolf fully shine by avoiding a production pile-up. An ode to hotel-room sex, “Toro” immediately tosses out frothy lyrical details (“Dancing around and spilling wine, you look good / In my hotel robe,” she sings) and leans into a nu-disco strut, applying the funk from “Cinderella” to verses that sneak forward and a chorus that revs up.

And for her part, Wolf is a force of nature on the track, proudly declaring her lust and spinning around each bull-fighter simile with ease; if you still had doubts that Wolf had the chops to score a mainstream pop breakthrough, the second verse explosion on “Toro” should quickly put them to rest. Big Ideas arrives on July 12, and if this new single is any indication, Wolf’s second album could be one of the defining pop projects of the summer.

Gracie Abrams Unveils ‘The Secret of Us’ Tracklist Featuring Taylor Swift Collaboration

You may have thought that Gracie Abrams achieved the ultimate Swiftie dream when she and Taylor Swift performed a duet together on The Eras Tour last year. But now, the rising star has undoubtedly trumped it by announcing that her sophomore album, The Secret of Us, features the “Anti-Hero” singer on a song, which Abrams revealed by sharing the LP’s tracklist on Instagram Monday (May 13).

In total, the June 21-slated record features 12 main tracks — including the previously released lead single “Risk” — plus a bonus song titled “Close to You,” a snippet of which went viral on TikTok this year. Track No. 5, however, undoubtedly holds the most intrigue, simply titled “Us” with “feat. Taylor Swift” in parentheses next to it.

“screaming so loud………….,” the “21” singer wrote in her caption.

Abrams previously joined Swift as an opener on the Eras Tour last summer, a role she’ll reprise once the “Karma” singer returns to the States for a second North American leg this fall. In July, the former’s supporting set at a Cincinnati show was canceled due to weather delays, after which the pop superstar invited her to sing a duet of “I Miss You, I’m Sorry” during the main set’s nightly surprise song section — during which Abrams “blacked out,” she recently told Jimmy Fallon.

Swift was also one of the first people Abrams texted when she received her first-ever Grammy nomination last year for best new artist. “I talked to Taylor and we were just screaming at each other over text like, lots of all-caps: Holy f–king s–t,” she told Billboard in November. “And obviously she just deserves all of it, all of it, all of it. In moments of career celebration or any personal crisis, I text her, so to be able to celebrate this one mutually felt so wild.”

The “Fortnight” artist is the only collaborator listed on album, which was produced by Aaron Dessner, who also worked on Abrams’ debut record Good Riddance and Swift’s Folklore, Evermore and The Tortured Poets Department. Other titles on The Secret of Us include “Felt Good About You,” “Blowing Smoke,” “Let It Happen” and more.

Abrams first announced the new project on April 29, writing, “the album that I made with some of my favorite people (!!!!!!!!!!) is yours JUNE 21 and the first single ?RISK? comes out on MAY 1! We had real, true fun writing this album. There were also the occasional tears.”

50 Cent Mocks Diddy’s Son King Combs Following Diss Track Release: ‘I Feel So Threatened’

50 Cent has been relentless in his yearslong feud of mocking Diddy. The Queens rapper continued to jab at the Bad Boy CEO when it came to the latter’s litany of sexual assault allegations and lawsuits piling up, and didn’t stop following the raid of Diddy’s homes by federal agents in March. (Diddy has denied all allegations.)

Diddy’s son, Christian “King” Combs, stepped in on Sunday (May 12) to defend his family name with the bristling “Pick a Side,” in which he threatens anyone coming at his father — including the “In Da Club” rapper.

“When all they had was 50 Cent who put the city on the map?/ Stop lying, pops been hated on by many men and n-gga, that’s fine/ They gon’ try to stop these Eminems and they gon’ die tryin,’” he raps while calling out 50.

King kicks the diss off with a lullaby before telling the opps to “s–k his d–k” and dares the public to keep chanting “No Diddy,” which is a catchphrase 50 played a role in popularizing; it stems from Diddy’s sexual assault lawsuits.



50 Cent quickly got wind of King’s threats, but essentially laughed them off with his response on social media the same night.

“I feel so threatened by the things Christian is saying on his record. I’m afraid for my life, please don’t hurt me guys,” he tweeted. :I never mentioned or posted anything about puffy’s kids because KEEFE D said he killed 2Pac LOL.”

50 went and posted a report of a civil lawsuit filed against King Combs that accuses him of allegedly assaulting a stewardess. The lawsuit referenced by 50 was originally filed in April in Los Angeles court, and claimed that O’Marcaigh was a stewardess on a yacht charted by the Combs family during a December 2022 vacation in Saint Martin. She alleges that an intoxicated Christian served her “spiked tequila shots” and then assaulted her.

Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, vehemently denied the allegations.

The couple have made a habit of keeping their kids’ faces (and names) out of the public eye, but speaking to Today co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, Reynolds joked that the only person who might know the baby’s name is the world’s biggest pop star. Guthrie practically begged Reynolds to cough up the name, asking him, “Taylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics… is the fourth child’s name, the baby’s name, anywhere on the record?”

That record, of course, is Swift’s mega-selling The Tortured Poets Department, and Reynolds — legendary for his desert-dry wit and dead-pan jokes — quickly responded, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be. And we’ll say this: we’re still waiting.”

Teasing that Swift is clearly a prolific writer, Reynolds channeled mock panic as he said, “what are we doing here?”

Jokes aside, Reynolds has good reason to await Swift’s blessing, as the singer previously unveiled her A-list pals’ other three children’s names in the song “Betty” from 2020’s Grammy-winning Folklore album. That song name-checks the couple’s third child in the title, daughter Betty, four-and-a-half, in addition to older sisters Inez, seven-and-a-half and James, nine.

Last year, at a May stop on her Eras Tour in Philadelphia, Swift shouted out the couple’s first-born trio while performing “All Too Well” at Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field. Lively and Reynolds welcomed their fourth in Feb. 2023, but have not discussed the baby’s name to date.

Madonna Says ‘Nobody Told Me’ That Her Late Mom Was Dying in Emotional Mother’s Day Post

Madonna is sharing a reminder that Mother’s Day can be hard for some people. While honoring her late mom and namesake on Sunday (May 12), the pop star opened up in an emotional Instagram post about how she wasn’t aware of the extent of her mom’s fatal illness as a child.

“I stood on stage for 81 shows staring up at the beautiful face of my mother and wondering what she must’ve been thinking as she waved goodbye to me from her hospital window,” she wrote, sharing photos of her mother’s image on stage at one of her recent Celebration Tour shows.

“I stepped into the station wagon and shut the door not knowing it was the last time I’d see her,” she continued in her post. “Nobody told me my mother was dying – I just watched her disintegrate mysteriously and then she disappeared and there was no explanation except that she had gone to sleep which explains My Tumultuous relationship with sleep.”

The “Material Girl” singer’s mother, Madonna Louise Ciccone, died at age 30 after a battle with breast cancer in 1963. The future superstar was just five years old when it happened.

“When I stepped out on the stage and looked up at my mothers face every night,” added the seven-time Grammy winner, “I said hello I said goodbye. I said Thank you. I hope you’re proud of me. I said Please protect me and keep me sane.”

Now 65, Madonna is a mother to six kids, including Lourdes Leon, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon, and son Rocco Ritchie, whom she welcomed with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. She and the director went on to adopt David shortly after the musician founded her charity organization Raising Malawi in 2006. Later, she adopted Mercy, then Stella and Estere — all three of whom are also from Malawi — as a single mother.

“Tonight all of my children sleep Under one roof which is Rare and comforting,” Madonna noted in her post, which also featured photos of all of her kids. “They grow up too fast and spin out in different directions And yes I have a hard time letting go … I became very close to my children on this tour. We clung to each other. In the long hours we worked and struggled. They helped me manifest my dreams.”

The post comes about a week after the Queen of Pop wrapped the Celebration Tour with a record-breaking show at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach Saturday (May 4), an event that saw more than 1.6 million fans show up for the free performance. The concert put a bow on several months of performances following the tour’s kickoff in London in October.

All four of Madge’s youngest kids joined her as fellow performers on the trek, for which she had Mercy accompany her on piano during “Bad Girl,” duetted with David on “Mother and Father” and danced with twins Stella and Estere to “Don’t Tell Me.”

“They never stopped practicing… they never stopped cheering me on and supporting me,” the star gushed about her children in a recent post. “They were also going to school and rehearsing every night. !! . am so very proud of all of them.”

The Band Camino Announces New EP ‘Bruises,’ Summer Tour Dates

The Band Camino had a jam-packed 2023, complete with their pensive sophomore album, The Dark, and non-stop touring worldwide. But they’re not slowing down yet.

The trio — Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart and Garrison Burgess — announced exclusively via Billboard on Monday (May 13) that they’re unveiling a brand new EP, Bruises, on May 17. “Fresh starts are hard to come by when you’ve been a band for nine years and almost all of your 20s, but this release truly feels like one,” the band tells Billboard in a statement. “Honestly, for a while, it felt like we were chasing something. Having a fan base and any amount of success puts this pressure on your art and it’s easy to start chasing and predicting what you think people are going to like. In this next chapter, we’ve decided we aren’t chasing anything at all – just expressing. Making something you connect with is far more fulfilling, and the only reason we found our footing as a band in the first place. Just know we feel these songs in our bones and we have a feeling someone out there will too.”

The statement continues, “Making these songs and this EP brought us together in a way we haven’t felt in a long time, honestly. We took the process back to the place we started as a band and wrote and arranged the songs in a live rehearsal setting to truly create them together with instruments in our hands. Making music in 2024 has mostly turned into sitting in front of a computer, so we really put in effort to make music with no computers in sight until it was time to hit the studio with a fully-fleshed out arrangement. We tracked everything live as a band and left the takes as raw as we could. Our live show has always been what we’re most proud of, so we really just wanted to capture that in these recordings and not overcomplicate or overproduce anything. A touch more humanness, imperfectly perfect.”

With so much emphasis on sharing the upcoming tracks directly with their fans, The Band Camino doubled down on the excitement by announcing an accompanying summer tour, with “Not The 1975” star Knox as the supporting act.

The month-long run will kick off on July 8 in Seattle, Wash., before hitting cities like Sacramento, Calif.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Austin, Texas; Orlando, Fla. and more before wrapping up on August 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Snoop Dogg Joining ‘The Voice’ as Coach For Season 26 Alongside Fellow Newcomer Michael Bublé

Snoop Dogg is diversifying his already sprawling media footprint with yet another high-profile TV gig. The Long Beach legend who is slated to make his Olympic debut this summer when he joins the NBC team for nightly reports from the 2024 games in Paris in July will be back on our screens in the fall as part of the coaching panel on The Voice.

NBC announced the news on Monday morning (May 13), revealing that the 52-year-old rapper will be sliding into one of the signature spinning-chairs on the singing competition show alongside fellow newcomer crooner Michael Bublé. The panel for this fall’s season 26 will be rounded out by returning coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani, with the former notching her third consecutive season on the series and No Doubt singer and solo star Stefani adding yet another notch with her eighth go-round.

Bublé isn’t a total stranger to the Voice stage, as the Canadian singer previously appeared as an advisor to Team Blake in season three. Snoop also has Voice bona fides thanks to his gig as as a Mega Mentor in season 20.

First, The Voice has to crown a singer for the current season, with live shows slated to continue on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT with a two-hour semi-final in which the top nine singers will perform a song dedicated to their hometowns as they battle over a spot in the finale. The semi-final will feature Team Reba’s Asher Havon and Josh Sanders, Team Chance’s Maddi Jane and Serenity Arce, Team Legend’s Nathan Chester and Bryan Olesen and Team Dan + Shay’s Madison Curbelo, Karen Waldrup and Tae Lewis.
