Ed Sheeran Bests Taylor Swift For Seventh Title As U.K.’s Most-Played Artist of the Year

They love him, they really love him. For the seventh time in his career, Ed Sheeran has been named the most-played artist in the U.K. According to The Guardian, Sheeran, 33, topped the list of music played across U.K, radio, TV and in public places for the seventh time in nine years on the list compiled by music licensing company PPL.

The latest chart honor for Sheeran also kept his pal, Taylor Swift, from her first shot at the most-played title in the U.K., with the singer coming in at No. 2 after landing at No. 10 on the 2023 ranking; Taylor’s second-place showing matches her previous 2015 high. Swift is in the midst the summer swing of her Eras Tour in Europe, which will take her to Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Tuesday (June 18).

“Thank you for naming me the most played artist for last year. Thank you to my team, not just for me, but for all the other artists you work with – I’m happy that you get this recognition,” Sheeran said in a statement.

Thanks to her global Celebration tour, Madonna returned to the year-end tally at No. 10.

Nas Working With Arthur Baker to Adapt Classic Hip-Hop Movie ‘Beat Street’ For Broadway

Nas is working on adapting the beloved 1984 hip-hop movie Beat Street for Broadway. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the rapper is working to expand and create new material inspired by the original film’s soundtrack for the musical that he will co-produce. He will be collaborating on the musical stage adaptation with producer Arthur Baker (Afrika Bambaataa, New Order), who served as a co-producer, composer and musical producer on the original movie.

The news was announced on Friday after a 40th anniversary screening of Beat Street at the Tribeca Festival and marks the Queens rapper’s first dip into the Broadway world. “Beat Street wasn’t just a film – it spread the revolution of hip-hop culture throughout the country and the world. It left an indelible mark, inspiring generations of young artists and creating new hip-hop fans alike,” Nas said at Tribeca. “It’s a thrill for me to join the creative team of Beat Street, bringing the raw energy of hip-hop into the fabric of Broadway. It’s an honor to breathe new life into this iconic work and celebrate its enduring legacy.”

The original Beat Street was a cult classic released in 1984 that followed a DJ, graffiti artist and breakdancer in the South Bronx trying to make it on the then-new hip-hop scene. Serving as a kind of primer for mainstream America on the elements of hip-hop, it starred Rae Dawn Chong, Gus Davis and Jon Chardiet and featured cameos from a number of early hip-hop legends, including DJ Kool Herc, Doug E. Fresh, Afrika Bambaataa, Soulsonic Force, the New York City Breakers, Rock Steady Crew, Crazy Legs, Grandmaster Melle Mel & the Furious Five and more.

The film’s original soundtrack also paid homage to the first wave of hip-hop icons, including Grandmaster Melle Mel & the Furious Five, Jazzy Jay, the Treacherous Three with Doug E. Fresh, Afrika Bambaataa and more.

Chris Martin and the band gave fans a taste of things to come at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna on Sunday night (June 16), where they performed the new song in full. Earlier, the group shared a snippet of the euphoric new number on their socials, along with artwork that features the face of a waning planet with a colorful corona erupting from its surface.

On it, Martin sings: “It feels like I’m falling in love/ You’re throwing me a lifeline/ Oh, not for the first time/ I know I’m not alone.”

In line with the foursome’s long-standing eco-ethics, Coldplay has “gone to great lengths” to make the physical release of Moon Music “as sustainable as possible,” according to a statement.

Each 140g LP will contain some nine recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste, and the CD version are said be the “world’s first” to be released on EcoCD, created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, also sourced from post-consumer waste.

The first edition of Moon Music (EcoRecord rPET LP and EcoCD) will be available in limited-edition, individually-numbered runs and produced at a “higher specification” than future cuts, reads a statement.

Moon Music is a continuation to Coldplay’s most recent release, the Max Martin-produced 2021 effort Music Of The Spheres, which opened at No. 1 in the U.K. and Australia, and No. 4 on the Billboard 200. The single “My Universe” with BTS hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Martin has been teasing the new record for 18 months, at least. Back in January of 2023, he told the Toronto City News that the band was nearing completion of what he then promised was the second LP in the Music of the Spheres series. He remarked “that won’t come out for a bit,” though he teased that the band “might” start rolling out some of the new songs live that year.

Coldplay’s current global trek is in support of Spheres, kicking off on March 18, 2022 in Costa Rica. The years-long tour is currently slated to wrap up with the second of two shows in Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand on Nov. 16.

Reyna Roberts Talks Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Impact: ‘It’s So Interesting to See How People Treat Me Now’

From Shaboozey‘s runaway breakout hit “A Bar Song” to Sabrina Carpenter‘s drawl-inflected “Please Please Please” and Post Malone and Morgan Wallen‘s Billboard Hot 100-topping “I Had Some Help,” country music is back on top. Of course, a major player in this moment, specifically in the platforming of Black country artists in this moment, is Beyoncé.

At the top of the year she unleashed her Billboard 200-topping Cowboy Carter, the second act of her still-unfurling trilogy, featuring a slew of rising Black country stars, including Reyna Roberts, who is a credited artist on “Blackbiird” and harmonizes in the background on “Tyrant.”

Trending on Billboard

“From the very moment I heard my voice on [“Tyrant”], I couldn’t believe it,” Roberts gushed to Billboard backstage after her performance at Blavity House Party on Saturday (June 15). “I’m still so thankful that Beyoncé brought us onto a project and made us a little part of her legacy because people here weren’t doing that, but she did.”

Despite Black artists being foundational to the creation of what is now recognized as country music, the genre’s roots have been whitewashed and obfuscated by those who wanted to erase the contributions of key players such as Leslie Riddle, Rufus “Tee Tot” Payne, Arnold Schultz and Gus Cannon. With the release of Cowboy Carter — which, in addition to Roberts, featured collaborations with Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, Shaboozey, Willie Jones and the legendary Linda Martell — a mainstream Black country boom is unfolding in real-time.

None of the artists featured on Cowboy Carter are new to the country music industry. Many of them have been trying to break through for close to a decade, but Beyoncé’s latest LP has been the catalyst needed to sidestep the Nashville machine and force industry gatekeepers to truly pay attention. After all, when Beyoncé released “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Cowboy Carter’s Hot 100-topping lead single, back in February, Billboard reported a residual streaming boost for the catalogs of other Black women in country; Robert’s streams jumped 250% in the week following the release of “Texas.”

“When I was [first] coming to Nashville, I was telling people my goals, my dreams, like I’m going to work with Beyoncé,” says Roberts. “People just weren’t seeing it. I met with a lot of labels [in Nashville], and everybody passed on me. It’s so interesting to see how people treat me now. I’m the same person, I’m thankful my personality hasn’t really changed, my talent hasn’t changed, I’m the same individual. But it took Beyoncé and a lot of answered prayers from God for some people to see what they weren’t able to see before.”

For Roberts, the rest of 2024 is all about making sure this moment isn’t just a flash in the pan. The “Stomping Grounds” singer is currently hard at work on her new album, the follow-up to 2023’s Bad Girl Bible, Vol. 1, as well as exciting endeavors across different realms of entertainment.

“With this next album, every song is going to have a story [and] have a visual,” she reveals. “I want to make sure I’m telling the best stories that I can, so it takes a little bit of time. It’s definitely coming. It’s going to be something that I’m proud of and that I want to sing for the rest of my life.”

6 Best Moments of Blavity House Fest: Dru Hill, Rick Ross, Reyna Roberts & More

At the intersection of 615 Day 2023 and Juneteenth Weekend lies the inaugural Blavity House Party. Holsted by Blavity Media Group, the new festival took over Nashville, Tennessee, on June 14 and 15, treating locals and travelers alike to two nights of fiery performances in celebration of Juneteenth and Black Music Month.

Hosted by Zack Fox, Bridget Kelly and Mani Millss, Blavity House Party boasted a slew of performers across the myriad genres of the Black diaspora, including Monica, Rick Ross, K. Michelle, Dru Hill, Uncle Waffles, Blxst, Ryan Leslie, Leon Thomas, Big Freedia, Freeway, Lil’ Mo, Travis Porter, Reyna Roberts, Nesta, Domani and more. In addition to the two performance stages (one outside and one inside Music City’s storied Municipal Auditorium), the patio hosted a bevy of local Black-owned businesses for festivalgoers to support.

The festival’s opening day got off to a semi-sanctified start with a rousing performance from Sainted Trap Choir. With a tight choreography and tighter arrangements, the choir ripped through a medley that combined both secular and pop hits, including Travis Porter’s “Make It Rain,” Victoria Monét’s “On My Mama,” Tyla’s “Water” and Kirk Franklin’s “Melodies from Heaven.” Big Freedia kept the energy high with a NOLA-exalting bounce set that featured endless twerking and racy fellatio demonstrations from her backup dancers, while Grammy-winning R&B singer-songwriter Leon Thomas enraptured the audience with his honeyed vocals and impressive guitar skills.

Despite strong performances from day one’s performers, the meager audience turnout was impossible to ignore. As the day went on, the floor started to fill up, with legendary R&B group Dru Hill drawing the most passionate crowd of the night. Celebrating more than 25 years of hits, Sisqó led his fellow group members in impressive renditions of timeless hits like “Tell Me” and “In My Bed,” flaunting the power of their live vocals and pristine harmonies. With their set, Dru Hill was able to capture lightning in a bottle and truly make Blavity House Party feel like a must-see festival. Nonetheless, that energy quickly dissipated as the crowd waited anxiously for Lil Wayne — who was scheduled as the night’s headliner — just for the “A Milli” rapper to ghost the festival, providing no reason for his absence.

In an effort to make up for the last-minute disappointment of day one, Blavity House Party packed on several additional performers for the festival’s second day, including Lil Scrappy, Rick Ross and Tennessee native K. Michelle. Standout performers from day two included outlaw country princess Reyna Roberts — who put on a blazing show to match her red-hot hair — and hip-hop trio Travis Porter, who have provided a timeless soundtrack to Black house parties for nearly 15 years and counting. Lil Scrappy, something of a musical forefather to Travis Porter, also lit up the auditorium with lively performances of ’00s classics such as “Head Bussa” and “Neva Eva.”

Clearly an eleventh-hour addition, K. Michelle breezed through a six-minute set that included renditions of “Can’t Raise a Man” and “V.S.O.P.” Curiously, the chart-topping R&B star did not perform any of her country songs, though she did confirm that her long-awaited country album is still on the way. Headliner Monica took fans down memory lane with a set that spurred mass sing-alongs to some of her most beloved tracks, such as “So Gone” and “Before You Walk Out of My Life.”

Once again, the show threatened to fly off the rails near the end of the night. Rick Ross’ music was shockingly cut short about six songs into his set. After requesting his DJ drop the next track, silence ensued. The DJ continued to press buttons to figure out the situation, but within the next seven minutes, Ricky Rozay had given away a bottle of Belaire champagne, threw on his backpack, and exited the stage for good, making for a sudden and unforgettable end to the inaugural Blavity House Party.

Here are the six best moments from Blavity House Party 2024.

Stevie Nicks Concert Postponed ‘Due to Illness in the Band’ Just Before Showtime at Hersheypark Stadium

Stevie Nicks had to cancel her concert Saturday night (June 15) at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania, because of “illness in the band,” according to a brief statement shared on the singer’s official social media accounts.

“Regrettably, due to illness in the band, tonight’s performance is being postponed. Please hold on to your tickets. A new date will be announced soon,” said the update, originally posted by the stadium at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The update was later added to Nicks’ stories on Instagram and Facebook, and shared on her page on X (formerly Twitter).

Billboard reached out to Nicks’ representatives for comment on Sunday. At press time, no further details or updates have been provided.

The rock icon and vocalist for Fleetwood Mac, 76, was expected to take the stage Saturday night at the latest stop on her ongoing Live in Concert Tour across the U.S.

Nicks’ performance was postponed just hours before showtime.

In posts on social media, fans reported the show was canceled around the time doors were set to open, when they were already in line to enter the concert grounds. A video posted by a concertgoer in the comments of the announcement indicated soundcheck happened Saturday afternoon.

As of Sunday (June 16), Nicks’ published schedule has her performing on June 18 in Grand Rapids and June 21 in Chicago. What follows is a short break in her itinerary until July 3, when she’s set to jet to Europe for a gig in Dublin, Ireland. U.K. dates come next (Glasgow, Manchester and London), then stops in Antwerp, Belgium, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Last weekend Billboard saw Nicks and her touring band put on a lively show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, with a 15-song setlist spanning solo hits and classics from Fleetwood Mac’s discography, complemented with plenty of career anecdotes told between songs. “My stories are starting to become as long as the show,” the star joked during her June 9 performance.

After opening with Bella Donna‘s “Outside the Rain” and playing the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “Dreams,” from Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, Nicks was in good spirits, telling the cheering crowd, “We’re very glad to be here. We got to fly in on a helicopter. It was truly magnificent.”

Alicia Keys and Jay-Z to Perform ‘Empire State of Mind’ on 2024 Tony Awards

It was too perfect an opportunity to pass up: Alicia Keys and Jay-Z will perform “Empire State of Mind” during the 77th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 16. The show is set to air live on both coasts from the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/5:00-8:00 p.m. live PT) on CBS, and to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.

“Empire State of Mind” is featured in Hell’s Kitchen, the musical based on Keys’ early life and music which is nominated for 13 Tony Awards. That put it in a tie with the play Stereophonic as this year’s most-nominated production.

Trending on Billboard

“Empire State of Mind” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks in 2009 and received three Grammy nominations the following year, winning two — best rap song and best rap/sung collaboration. It was also nominated for record of the year.

Keys and Jay-Z first performed the song together on Sept. 13, 2009, when they closed that year’s MTV Video Music Awards, held at Radio City Music Hall. They have performed it live together in New York on several other occasions — at Yankee Stadium before Game 2 of the 2009 World Series in October 2009; at Madison Square Garden in March 2010 during one of Keys’ Freedom Tours concerts; and in Times Square in October 2016 during Keys’ Here in Times Square concert special, televised on BET.

They have also performed it in other locations — in Berlin in November 2009 at the MTV Europe Music Awards; in Los Angeles later that same month at the American Music Awards; and in London in February 2010 at the BRIT Awards.

The Tony Awards are produced in collaboration with Tony Award Productions and White Cherry Entertainment. Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss are showrunners and executive producers for White Cherry Entertainment, and Weiss will serve as director. Jack Sussman is also an executive producer. Ariana DeBose is a producer.

After years of teasing that her debut album was on its way, Dopamine arrived on Friday (June 14) through RCA Records, complete with collaborations from Gunna, Cardi B, James Blake and more. Led by singles “Wild Side” with Cardi B and “1:59” with Gunna, the 13-track effort means that the 28-year-old New Orleans singer is finally in the fray after years of waiting on the sidelines.

“I’m just grateful that everybody is just really excited still for this album and for this body of work. They’ve waited on me, which I don’t really take for granted,” Normani told Billboard News‘ Tetris Kelly.

Since going solo, Normani has hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart four times with the songs “Love Lies” with Khalid and “Dancing With A Stranger” with Sam Smith each reaching the top 10. Released in 2021, her lead single “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B charted as well, peaking at No.14 and staying on the chart for 20 weeks.

Trailing behind Dopamine on this week’s poll is NxWorries’ second album, Why Lawd?, with 8% of the vote. NxWorries is the superduo featuring R&B critics’ darling Anderson .Paak and underground favorite hip-hop producer Knxwledge.

Poets is the first album to spend its first eight weeks at No. 1 since Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time led for its first 12 weeks a year ago (March 18-June 3, 2023-dated charts). Of Swift’s 14 No. 1s on the Billboard 200, Poets ties Folklore with eight weeks on top; only 1989 and Fearless, with 11 each, have more weeks at No. 1 among Swift’s leaders.

Meanwhile, Swift adds her 77th career week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, extending her record among soloists. (Elvis Presley has the second-most among soloists, with 67.) The total encompasses her 14 leaders. (She’s tied with Jay-Z for the most No. 1s among soloists.)

Also in the top 10 of the new Billboard 200, Charli XCX scores her highest-charting album ever as Brat bows at No. 3; Bon Jovi secures its 14th top 10 with the No. 5 arrival of Forever; and Chappell Roan reaches the top 10 for the first time, as The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess climbs 12-10.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new June 22, 2024-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on June 18. For all chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram.

Of The Tortured Poets Department’s 128,000 equivalent album units earned, SEA units comprise 104,000 (down 14% — it’s No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums for an eighth week; its SEA units equal 135.53 million on-demand official streams of the deluxe edition’s 31 songs), album sales comprise 23,000 (down 13%) and TEA units comprise 1,000 (down 11%).

Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft rises 3-2 on the Billboard 200 in its fourth week, matching its debut and peak position, with 106,000 equivalent album units earned (down 9%).

Charli XCX achieves her second top 10 on the Billboard 200, and her highest-charting album yet, as Brat debuts at No. 3 with 82,000 equivalent album units earned (also her best week by units). Of that sum, album sales comprise 45,000 (her largest sales week ever), SEA units comprise 37,000 (equaling 46.72 million on-demand official streams of its deluxe edition’s 18 songs; her biggest streaming week yet) and TEA units comprise less than 1,000.

Charli XCX previously visited the top 10 with Crash, which debuted and peaked at No. 7 in 2022.

Brat was led by the single “Von Dutch,” which debuted and peaked at No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

The album’s first-week sales were supported by its availability across 14 vinyl variants (mostly color variants, two were issued in deluxe editions containing collectible paper ephemera, one of which also housed a bonus 7-inch vinyl), which added up to 34,000 copies sold on vinyl — Charli XCX’s biggest week on vinyl. The set was also issued as a standard CD, a signed CD and as a deluxe boxed set containing a branded T-shirt and a CD. On June 10, the album was reissued as a deluxe digital download and streaming album with three bonus tracks.

Morgan Wallen’s chart-topping One Thing at a Time is a non-mover at No. 4 on the new Billboard 200 with 72,000 equivalent album units earned (up 2%).

Bon Jovi collects its 14th top 10-charting effort on the Billboard 200 as Forever starts at No. 5. The set earned 52,000 equivalent album units, of which album sales comprise 50,000 (it’s the top-selling album of the week and debuts at No. 1 on Top Album Sales), SEA units comprise 2,000 (equaling 2.31 million on-demand official streams of the 12 songs on the streaming edition of the set) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum.

The new album was led by the single “Legendary,” which reached the top 10 on the Adult Contemporary airplay chart (the band’s seventh top 10 and highest-charting song on the tally since 2011) and the top 15 on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking.

Forever’s first-week sales were supported by its availability across 11 vinyl variants (mostly color variants; three had collectible paper ephemera contained inside, one of which was a signed edition), four CD editions (a standard set, two with alternative cover art, and one that was signed), a cassette tape, a standard digital download album, and a deluxe digital download edition with two bonus tracks that was sold via the band’s official webstore starting June 8.

Bon Jovi made its Billboard chart debut just over 40 years ago, when the single “Runaway” debuted on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart dated Feb. 11, 1984. Two weeks later, the band made its Billboard 200 debut with its self-titled album entering the Feb. 25, 1984-dated list at No. 178, on its way to a No. 43 peak that April.

In total, Forever marks the 22nd charting album on the Billboard 200 for Bon Jovi. The band first reached the top 10 in 1986 with Slippery When Wet, their first of six No. 1s. They have notched new top 10s in the 1980s, ‘90s, 2000s, ‘10s (adding their latest leader with This House Is Not for Sale in 2016) and now the ‘20s. Bon Jovi is the fifth group to achieve a newly-charting top 10 album on the Billboard chart in each of the last five decades, joining AC/DC, Def Leppard, Metallica and U2.

ATEEZ’s Golden Hour: Part.1 falls 2-6 in its second week on the Billboard 200 (45,000 equivalent album units earned, down 66%); Wallen’s former leader Dangerous: The Double Album slips 6-7 (44,000; up 1%); Noah Kahan’s Stick Season dips 7-8 (42,000; down 1%); and Shaboozey’s Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going falls 5-9 in its second week (41,000; down 17%).

Closing out the top 10 is a new arrival to the region, as Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess pounces 12-10 with 40,000 equivalent album units earned (up 26%). The set posted double-digital percentage gains in album sales (8,000; up 87%), streaming equivalent album units (32,000; up 16%) and track equivalent album units (a negligible sum, though up 23%).

The album and artist has been basking in the glow of recent press coverage stemming from the singer-songwriter’s buzzy performance at the 2024 Governor’s Ball on June 9 (the third day of the chart’s tracking week), which prompted a shout-out from Ariana Grande.

Princess reaches the top 10 in its 12th week on the chart. It’s atypical for an album would climb into the top 10 for the first time, as most albums that peak in the top 10 debut in the region. The last current (non-catalog) album to climb to the top 10 for the first time after 12 or more chart weeks was Noah Kahan’s Stick Season, which bolted 100-3 on the June 24, 2023-dated list, in the set’s 29th chart week, after it was reissued in a deluxe edition and pressed on vinyl for the first time. Before that, the last non-catalog set to reach the top 10 after at least 12 chart weeks was Doja Cat’s Hot Pink, which rallied 19-9 on the May 16, 2020-dated chart — during the album’s 27th chart week. The set zoomed up the list following the release of a remix of the album’s “Say So” featuring Nicki Minaj.

Post Malone Teases the Perfect Father-Daughter Wedding Dance Song on Father’s Day: Listen

Post Malone has just teased what might become the ultimate father-daughter wedding dance song.

On Father’s Day (June 16), the superstar singer shared a 35-second snippet of a soaring country anthem about a father giving away his daughter on her wedding day.

“When I walk her down that isle and do what daddies have to do,” Malone gently sings on the track. “And she might be wearing white, but her first dress it was pink/ She might be your better half, yeah, well, she’s my everything/ We’ll both love her forever, but I loved her long before/ And one day I know I’ll give her away, buddy that don’t mean she’s yours.”

“Happy Father’s Day,” Malone, who announced the birth of his daughter in 2022, captioned the post.

The catchy new song arrives on the heels of Malone’s smash hit “I Had Some Help” (featuring Morgan Wallen), which has spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Trending on Billboard

The comments section of Malone’s teaser on social media was instantly flooded with fans declaring it the perfect father-daughter wedding dance song.

“I didn’t think I’d ever get married up until until I heard this bc now I need this to be my father daughter dance song,” one user wrote on Instagram.

Another fan on X (formerly Twitter) jokingly inquired about lining up the star for their wedding reception. “Post Malone how much is it to book you for private wedding performance,” they wrote.

“My dad walked me down the aisle to Sunflower and my husband and I walked out to Congratulations. I needed this for my father daughter dance!” another fan commented on Instagram.

Malone has been dipping his toe into country music for months now, including a team-up with Beyonce for “Levii’s Jeans” from her Cowboy Carter album, appearances on country awards shows, and forthcoming collaborations with Luke Combs and Blake Shelton.

Malone confirmed to Access Hollywood in 2023 that he does indeed have a country music album in the works. “I think so… yes,” the singer revealed at the time.

In addition to covering Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song),” Malone has performed on stage with a number of other country stars, including Little Big Town and Darius Rucker. He’s also been pictured in the studio or in writing rooms with Paisley and Combs.

At the 2024 ACM Awards, Posty previewed some new music for fans, performing a heartbreak ballad titled “Never Love You Again.” And during last year’s CMA Awards, he teamed with Wallen and HARDY to perform a tribute to the late Joe Diffie, offering up cover versions of Diffie’s “John Deere Green” and “Pickup Man.” Shortly after, Malone made his Billboard Country Airplay chart debut with “Pickup Man” from HARDY’s Hixtape Vol. 3: Difftape project.

Listen to a snippet of Malone’s new song below.
