Kai Cenat certainly has motion, and the latest brand the famed streamer has teamed with is McDonald’s. Yep, Kai Cenat is promoting the kind of new Chicken Big Mac.

The Chicken Big Mac® whill be available at participating McDonald’s restaurants, for a limited time, across the nation starting Thursday, October 10. The sandwich is essentially the same deal as the original Big Mac—special sauce, lettuce, cheese and pickles all on a sesame seed bun—save for the beef patties getting switched out for chicken patties. Oh wait, the chicken patties are tempura battered.

Aware of the trepidation of messing with the OG, McDonald’s tested out the new sandwich at ChainFest to great success (see below).

“With the introduction of the Chicken Big Mac, we’re excited to pay homage to one of our most iconic menu items, the Big Mac, and introduce it to a whole new generation of fans,” said Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonald’s USA, in a press statement. “By tapping into some of our fans’ biggest passions from dupe culture to live-streaming, we’re able to serve up more than just a sandwich. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy in this campaign and we’re bringing experiences that will surprise and delight them, all before the Chicken Big Mac hits restaurants.”
As for Kai Cenat, he’s a Big Mac fan he linked up with his buddies to talk it up on his Twitch channel.

Burgers and fries may be your first thought when considering fast food, but the chicken sandwich got something to say. Case in point, McDonald’s recently dropped a new Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy Sandwich to keep your culinary options at the golden arches varied.

McDonald’s touts the southern-style sandwich, which features spicy Cajun Ranch sauce as, “soul food flavors of the South.” This version of the McCrispy Sandwich also includes applewood smoked bacon and crinkle cut pickles, in a toasted potato roll. You can also up the ante with the Bacon Cajun Ranch Deluxe McCrispy, which adds Roma tomatoes and shredded lettuce to the mix.

But wait…

It seems the complaints behind McDonald’s ice cream machines have hit the fed’s radar. The DOJ has formally addressed their faulty equipment.

The Verge is reporting that the global fast food chain’s signature soft served dessert is the topic of discussion for the not only the United States Department Of Justice but also the Federal Trade Commission. On Thursday, March 14 both the agencies submitted a joint filing regarding the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. In essence the DMCA criminalizes any production, deviation and repairing of any copyrighted works.

The act covers all McDonald’s ice cream machines as they regard to as “commercial and industrial equipment.” These appliances are actually purchased from Taylor Products Inc., an ice cream equipment supplier based out of Edison, New Jersey thus they are the only party who can perform repairs on the machines. Furthermore, the technicians who are licensed to service the machines are few and far between. The DOJ’s submission asking that the DMCA be reviewed citing “renewing and expanding repair-related exemptions would promote competition in markets for replacement parts, repair, and maintenance services, as well as facilitate competition in markets for repairable products.”
According to Gizmodo restaurants lose an average of $625 dollars a day when their ice cream machines are inoperative. McDonald’s has yet to formally comment on the DOJ’s filing.

While sneakerheads obsess over the latest Nike SB Dunk or Air Jordan drops, many people actually do collect Crocs like they’re going out of style. McDonald’s is getting in on the action and making some of their most famous mascots the focus of a collaboration.

CNBC is reporting that McDonalds and Crocs will be releasing some new footwear inspired by the fast-food chain and will be paying homage to Grimace, The Hamburgler and Birdie with three different colorways for each individual character. Who asked for this collaboration? Who the heck knows, but don’t be surprised when you see people walking around with purple Crocs with Grimace’s face on it. Y’all already gonna know what they diet consists of too. Just sayin.’
Per CNBC:

Also for sale will be a number of McDonald’s-themed charms that can be attached to the clogs, including french fries, the Big Mac and the iconic Golden Arches logo.
The shoes will be released on November 14, retailing for between $70 and $75. Matching socks for each pair of shoes will retail for $20. Customers will be able to buy them at Crocs retail locations and wholesale partners.
In its press release, McDonald’s recommended that fans who want to snag a pair of the clogs follow McDonalds and Crocs on social media, adding only that the drop will happen at “midday” central time.
The partnership with Crocs is McDonald’s second fashion collab in recent months. Back in August, McDonald’s partnered with British skate brand PALACE to release limited-edition branded merch.
There will also be a Croc colorway which depicts the classic red and yellow colorway that McDonald’s (and Hulk Hogan) is known for. Might see a few Hogan fans wearing those here and there.
What do y’all think of the McDonalds x Crocs collection? Will you be picking up a pair or nah? Let us know in the comments section below.
