Kai Cenat may not be on the same level of stardom as Ye aka Kanye West, but that isn’t keeping the online celebrity from clapping back at the music icon for taking some potshots at him.

Last week during an interview with Justin Laboy on The Download podcast, Kanye West made a lot of noise (as he tends to do). While many folks were talking about what he had to say about Michelle Obama and having a song with Takeoff, one subject that flew under the radar was his thoughts on the king of streams, Kai Cenat. Apparently, still salty that Cenat complained about some sweatpants he sent him saying they were too big. Ye chalked it up to Kai Cenat being an “industry plant.”

Just because Kai Cenat thought Ye’s pants were oversized, the rapper decided to label him an industry plant and added, “The f*cking exact genre is the most industry plants. It’s about mind control.” Kanye also took issue with Kai “Cent” mentioning his daughter’s name a week later. But we feel he’s more bothered about the pants more than anything else.
While Kanye may feel that way about Kai Cenat, the pants he sent him were a bit too big. It is what it is.

Needless to say Kai was not going to let that slide and took to his channel to address Kanye’s “slander” saying “Ye, I’ve been doing this s**t since 2018, Ye. Facebook. Me. Bronx. Funny skits. Been doing this sh*t. All because a lot of people… man f*ck that! The pants ain’t fit my n*gga!!” LOL. They really didn’t, but Ye doesn’t like anyone criticizing his work whether it be music or fashion. Apparently, if you do he’ll label you an industry plant.
Looking to squash whatever beef Kanye may have with him, Kai pleaded with Ye: “Just send me some new pants, bro!” It really is that simple, but leave it to Kanye to turn a simple thing into some kind of conspiracy theory ish.
Check out Kai Cenat’s reaction to Kanye’s comments below, and let us know your thoughts on the situation in the comments section.

Kai Cenat looks as if he has a new enemy, as fellow streamer IShowSpeed has released a diss track directed toward him online.
In the current climate of rap beef that’s been present these last couple of weeks, another surprising feud has surfaced, this time between popular streamers Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed. The new track was released by IShowSpeed on Tuesday (April 23) during a live stream, where he rapped the denigrating lyrics directed at Cenat over the instrumental of Drake’s “Back To Back” track from 2015 as he stood in front of a green screen.

“Kai, you can’t pull Tyla/You dirty-a*s n***a you do not pull b***hes/I’m sending 5k to a f**king b***h, I never paid for p***y, n***a suck my d***k,” IShowSpeed spits out, referencing the South African songstress’ recent visit to the popular streamer which garnered a lot of attention and a claim by Cenat of extortion from an OnlyFans personality. “Adin leaked my number/B***h, here go your muthaf**kin number,” he continues showing a contact number on his smartphone purportedly belonging to Kai Cenat. “B***h, I really don’t care/Zoom in, take a good stare/N***a, I don’t give a f**k/You always on my d**k, n***a, suck my left nut.” Kai Cenat hasn’t commented on the track as of yet. The 19-year-old and IShowSpeed have had a turbulent relationship in the past, but have collaborated multiple times. But the new turn by IShowSpeed might be linked to Kai Cenat seemingly sending verbal barbs his way in a freestyle that he released over 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” which went viral last month.
As for IShowSpeed, he’s gotten into hot water for online stunts in the past involving other streamers who’ve blasted him for leaking personal information linked to them. The popular gamer and streamer Ninja called IShowSpeed out last November after deleting his Discord channel. He stated that the 23-year-old leaked the information to the channel to the public and his followers during a stream. “That Discord had Drake, Travis Scott, Marshmello, JuJu, every professional Fortnite player you could imagine,” he said at the time. All of the top OG streamers, like fucking everyone, and I had to fucking nuke it because Speed leaked it.”

It’s starting to seem like today’s celebrities are learning the hard way that when you deal with women (well, anyone) you meet off of Instagram or OnlyFans, it’s not necessarily going to be a one-and-done affair. Kai Cenat has become the latest student of how cold the game can get when you play around with the wrong one, but he’s not taking it lying down (at least not like he did at one point with her).

According to Vibe, the world-famous social media influencer is allegedly being extorted by an OnlyFans model, Layla Red, who is looking for a bigger payday in exchange for her secrecy pertaining to their sexual encounter. Apparently, Red has been asking Cenat to cough up $5,000 (on top of the $5,000 he’d allegedly already paid her) or she’d go public with their “relationship.” To show that she wasn’t playing, the OF content creator “leaked” a picture of a naked Kai sleeping in her bed after one of their “baby-making sessions.”

Trying to avoid looking like a simp to his millions of fans, Cenat went on the offensive and refuted the notion that he came out of pocket for $5,000.
Per Vibe:
However, Cenat went live on Sunday night (April 14) debunking the OF content creator’s claims and threatening to take her to court due to her breaking a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that she supposedly signed.
He also shared a transcript of his Apple Pay transactions, showing proof that he never paid her five stacks for sex, but only $50 for her Uber ride.
In response, Red also shared a screen recording of her own which apparently shows a message from Cenat sending over $5k via Apple Pay.

After Red tried to drop her receipts, Kai Cenat went digital age petty on the model and informed everyone that he purchased her name domain so that any time someone Google’s her name, they’ll be directed to “all of her lies,” instead of her OF link, Vibe reports.

That’s pretty damn clever.
Continuing to fight for his good name, Cenat continued to troll Red on his Live and let viewers witness just how messy things can get when you try to come for him and his money. That man really seems unbothered by the situation. Just sayin’.

Lil Nas X went on social media to release an apology for his controversial “J Christ” video which has earned the artist some heavy backlash.

The latest single and music video by Lil Nas X has brought about a backlash that has compelled the artist to issue an apology through social media. On Monday (January 15), Lil Nas X addressed those criticizing “J Christ”, which was released last Friday (January 12). In a four-minute video which he shared in a post on X, formerly Twitter, the rapper began by saying he wanted to “explain where my head is at,” with his words.

He stated that he wasn’t necessarily apologizing for the song, but he acknowledged that he might have gone awry in his promotion of the single. “This is not to try to get everybody on my good side or whatnot. This is more to clear my head about my own decisions. I know I messed up really bad this time,” said the “Old Town Road” artist while casually sporting a bonnet. “And I can act unbothered all I want, but it’s definitely taking a mental toll on me.” Lil Nas X would also state that he expected some heat because “religion is a sensitive topic,” but he wasn’t aiming to mock anyone’s faith. “I didn’t mean to mock. This wasn’t a ‘f—k you to you people, f—k you to the Christians.’ It was not that. It was ‘I’m back like Jesus,’” he continued. “I’m not the first person to dress up as Jesus. I’m not the first rapper, I’m not the first artist, and I won’t be the last.”
In closing, Lil Nas X said: “I was put on this earth to bring people closer together and promote love. That’s who I am. I’m not an evil demon guy trying to destroy someone’s values. That’s not me.” The “J Christ” video has become a spur for many to blast the artist for what they saw as disrespect, with media figures like gamer Kai Cenat and artists like Hurricane Chris releasing their own videos saying that he should find “something else to play with besides Jesus”.

This past weekend OG Hip-Hop journalist Elliott Wilson found himself at the mercy of the Barbz collective after he seemingly shaded Nicki Minaj for appearing on Kai Cenat’s streaming channel.  Though he issued a public apology, it was too late. They hate him now.Things began when Wilson seemingly took a shot at both Nicki Minaj and Kai Cenat after the former appeared on Cenat’s show with a post of Nicki twerking on the show and a caption that read “Hip Hop journalism.” Fans took the post as Wilson mocking the moment and Kai’s channel.
Nicki wasted no time in responding to Wilson’s alleged shade and took to X to slam him for his post. “Elliott if you’d spit Jay-Z dikk out for a one second, you’d be able to be happy for the new comers. Isn’t that how y’all tried to tarnish my image? By saying I’m not welcoming new btchs in?” Nicki tweeted.

The post was enough to have the Barbz pounce on Wilson to the point that he took down his post and threw up a new one in which he tried to make amends with Nicki saying he never dissed her and “Always said she’s the female rap [GOAT]. Over Lauryn, Missy, Kim and Foxy and all. I think Cardi B is dope too. Happy Holidays.”

Unfortunately, that didn’t save him from the online wrath of the Barbz.
Wilson then went on and praised Kai for getting this far in the streaming lane saying Cenat “deserves respect.”

People are still mad even though Wilson continued to shower Nicki with praise following the release of her latest album, Pink Friday 2.

Nicki meanwhile doesn’t seem to be letting up and continues to take shots at Wilson (whom she referred to as “Idiot” Wilson) and even threw a stray shot at DJ Envy for being involved in his alleged real estate scam after hating on her music.

Nicki’s on one! Y’all don’t know what y’all started. Hopefully Nicki’s husband doesn’t start stalking Elliott Wilson now. Just sayin’.
Peep Nicki address Elliott Wilson below, and let us know if his apologies were enough to quiet the storm in the comments section below.

Nicki Minaj makes a guest appearance on Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream to talk about her new album ‘Pink Friday 2.’ Katharine McPhee and David Foster share their Christmas playlist. Nicki Minaj is still coasting on the high waves after dropping her latest studio album Pink Friday 2 last week and is now making the media rounds. The American-Trinidadian superstar joined with popular streamer Kai Cenat for a stream event that has the Barbz celebrating but also sparked some critics to chime in, too.
Nicki Minaj hopped on Twitch with Kai Cenat early Thursday morning (December 14) with fans of both figures tuning in at major numbers even in the wee hours. The pair, who both share Trinidadian heritage, talked about Pink Friday 2, engaged with fans, held a dance party, took some shots, and Minaj also shared a new track.
According to some of the chatter we’ve seen online, the stream got over 360,000 views and apparently shattered Cenat’s viewership record but we have yet to confirm that on our side. However, it would be safe to see that having over 300,000 viewers turned in at the hour they began is impressive all the same.
Given the age difference between Cenat, 21, and Minaj, 41, and considering that Cenat’s audience is also on the younger side, some observers didn’t understand the pairing. There was also a dig from a notable Hip-Hop journalist that stood out, which we’ll share in the reactions later.
Despite that, the two seemed to enjoy each other’s company and Minaj joined in a wild dance party with Cenat and his friends. There was also a point where Cenat introduced Minaj to his mother and twin sister.
On X, formerly Twitter, folks are adding their thoughts about Nicki Minaj and Kai Cenat connecting on Twitch. Check out the reactions below.

Popular streamer Kai Cenat got some high praise from Lil Yachty.
In a recent episode of Cool Kicks that was released on Saturday, Oct.14, Lil Yachty talked his ish in a rant about the streaming platform made popular by gamers, Twitch, boasting that he was one of the first Hip-Hop stars alongside “rapper” Post Malone on the platform.

The “Talk To Me Nice” crafter also used his rant to give props to Twitch’s current superstar streamers Kai Cenat and Adin Ross, both of whom have made successful careers off streaming alone.
Ironically, Cenat has confronted Ross about his use of the N-word.

“Kai is my brother, shouts out to Kai. Shouts out Fanum, shouts out the whole AMP, shouts out f**kin’ Adin Ross,” Yachty said. “Yeah, for real. The young guys, the young bros, they goin’ crazy. Kai for sure got more money than, I think, 90 percent of rappers. 90 percent of rappers, I think Kai got more money than them. Adin too, sure!”
[embedded content]
Regarding Cenat, what Yachty is saying is definitely not cap. Cenat broke the record for subscriptions in a month, getting over 300,000 subscribers in the month of February alone.
Cenat has also won awards for his for his streaming.
Kai Cenat Drama
But he has also seen his share of drama. Cenat caught some well-deserved flack after allowing a white woman to say the n-word during a stream.

Cenat was also arrested in New York City in August for causing a riot with his impromptu PS5 giveaway. Still, Cenat remains as popular as ever, with people like Travis Scott and Offset vouching for him.
As for Yachty, his claims of being the first rapper on Twitch caught the ire of Soulja Boy, who is first to everything, it seems.
The rapper went on a nonsensical rant about Yachty’s comments.
Per Vibe:
I ain’t gon’ even cap, Lil Yachty, sit yo bi**h-a** down, ni**a,” Soulja Boy barked about Yachty’s claims. “Drake, you and Lil Yachty getting on my muthaf**king nerves. Lil Yachty, you is a bi**h ni**a. Fruity-a** ni**a. Painting yo muthaf**king toe nails and sh*t.”
“I’m getting tired of y’all f**k ni**as,” he continued. “You wasn’t the first ni**a to do sh*t. I’m getting tired of y’all pu**y a** ni**as, man.
Someone needs to tell Soulja Boy to chill, and it’s not that serious.

SZA is one of the hottest artists out, musically and physically. So it’s no surprise that Kai Cenat tried to shoot his shot, and unfortunately, it failed epically for him.

Spotted on HipHopDx, popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat decided to shoot his shot at TDE R&B artist SZA with some help from Cardi B’s boo, Offset.

The Migos member was a guest on Cenat’s Twitch stream last week, where he did his best impression of Alex Hitchens by giving Cenat some advice to Cenat to help him spit game to land the big fish, SZA, whom he has a crush on.
Per HipHopDX:
After shaking his head at Kai’s initial idea — which involved messaging SZA: “Hello, how you doing? Dat ass was fat in the last music video” — Offset advised him to slide into SZA’s Instagram DMs in more cool and cryptic fashion.
“That ain’t playa, that ain’t P. You gotta ease your way [in], man,” Set said. “‘I got an idea’… that’s what you say. That’s just to get the little bite. ‘I got an idea’ — it’s simple.”
He cautioned: “But then, see, when you do that, you get the reply? You gotta have an idea.”
Offset’s Advice Backfired For Kai Cenat
In most cases, Offset’s advice might have worked, but it delivered the opposite effect for Cenat. In a follow-up stream, he revealed shooting his shot at the “Good Days” singer didn’t get him her phone number but a lovely block.
“I can’t send any more messages, bro,” he said despondently after spending several moments with his mouth wide open in shock. “On God! I can’t send any more messages, bro!” Centa told his followers.
Cenat held up his phone to his viewers to prove that SZA hit him with a block. The clip went viral online, and someone added Drake’s simp tune, “Marvin’s Room.”

According to the website, Cenat might not be blocked. Instead, he might be the victim of the new Instagram invite feature where he has to be accepted by SZA before he can start conversing with him in the DMs.
So we’re going to keep hope alive for Kai Centat.

It’s been a wild summer for popular game streamer, Kai Cenat. He was arrested earlier this month for “inciting” a riot in New York City but later on won Streamer Of The Year at the Streamy Awards (yes, that’s a thing).

Now, the GOAT streamer is getting some star studded help from Travis Scott. The Utopia rapper is vowing to help Cenat get IShowSpeed show unbanned from Twitch right after Cenat announced that he is considering leaving Twitch if they don’t reinstate fellow content creator IShowSpeed. According to Game Rant, Kai isn’t too happy that Twitch shutdown IShowSpeed’s channel and is doing what he can to assist in their return.
Game Rant reports:

…Kai has solidified his position as the leading streamer on Twitch, thanks to his groundbreaking 2023 subathon that shattered numerous platform records. Similarly, IShowSpeed has amassed a staggering 20 million subscribers, though it’s worth noting that prior to his YouTube venture, IShowSpeed was an active streamer on Twitch. In 2021, IShowSpeed faced a permanent ban from the platform due to making sexist remarks during a show called E-Date.
Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed are known to be friends and frequently collaborate on hosting streams together. However, a prominent issue has arisen due to IShowSpeed’s Twitch ban. Twitch’s policy prevents banned streamers from returning to the platform, and this seems to be why Kai Cenat has been advocating for a reconsideration of IShowSpeed’s ban. His most recent effort took place just before the 2023 Streamy Awards during a livestream. He remarked that if IShowSpeed’s ban remains in place, he might consider leaving the platform. He then followed this up with a light-hearted comment, clarifying that his previous statement was made in jest.
This is a situation that the average Hip-Hopper on the block knows little to nothing about, but now they got Travis Scott riding with them? Could be a monster assist should the “Highest In The Room” rapper decide to flex his muscle in this situation. How? Who knows, but gamers must be excited about the news.
What do y’all think of this situation? Sound off in the comments section below.
