This might be one of the most ridiculous ways ever to respond to sexual misconduct allegations.
X-Men 97 showrunner Beau DeMayo vowed to address the serious allegations Disney/Marvel Studios dropped after DeMayo accused the studios of taking away his writing credit on the popular Disney+ animated series.
That day has finally come, but for whatever ridiculous reason, DeMayo locked his response behind his OnlyFans account.
Deadline exclusively reports that DeMayo claims “These allegations of egregious misconduct are false,” calling out Disney and Marvel for its “toxic environment” and “near criminal working conditions” that “turns individuals against one another, stokes paranoia to ensure compliance.”
DeMayo’s claims come after Disney/Marvel Studios revealed they fired him after a misconduct probe’s “egregious nature of the findings” after claiming his firing was due to him sharing risque fan art of himself.
According to reports, word on the Disney streets is that DeMayo allegedly sent nude photos of himself to X-Men ’97 colleagues and got handsy with some of them.
Per Deadline:
Today, as attorney Bryan Freedman filed an expedited jury trial seeking complaint in LA Superior Court to have an allegedly “illegal non-disparagement provision” removed from the writer’s exit package documents, DeMayo took to OnlyFans to call BS on the Kevin Feige-run Marvel and Bob Iger-led Disney.
“The rumors being spread around me online are lies, and they are offensive, but more concerning is that they’re a smear campaign designed to discredit my credibility in order to cover up the egregious prejudicial misconduct stretching from select crew members on X-Men ’97, all the way all the way to the top at Marvel Studios,” DeMayo declared in his nearly 30-minute remarks to camera on the often explicit subscription social platform.
Admitting that “personality conflicts happen, especially in creative environments like Hollywood, DeMayo also acknowledged that he has long known he is “not everyone’s cup of tea.”
Yet, in a nutshell, DeMayo asserted today that him “being gay, Black and open about it at Marvel Studios” and was the real issue the company had with him and why he was tossed out and later saw his credits for the upcoming second season of the mutant saga removed. In fact, spotlighting the timeline of his departure, DeMayo says that it was only after his intial conversation with company HR that he “no longer felt safe at the studio as a gay Black man” that he was shown the door.
Very interesting.
Social Media Reacts To Beau DeMayo Directing People To His OnlyFans Account
Users on X, formerly Twitter, are still skeptical and don’t understand why DeMayo directed people to his OnlyFans account to see his reply.

Again, this is a bizarre way to “bring the receipts and try to clear your name.

Deadpool might be “Marvel Jesus” after “resurrecting” the MCU with Deadpool and Wolverine. Can he do the same for Wesley Snipes’ Blade movie franchise?
After Deadpool and Wolverine did what many expected it to at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, Ryan Reynolds has been sharing moments from the cameo-filled goodbye to the Fox Marvel universe and giving props to each of the actors who helped him, Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy make history.
One person in particular, Reynolds, has been showering with praise, none other than Wesley Snipes, the original cinematic version of The Daywalker, Blade, aka “Marvel Daddy.”

In a post to his social media accounts, Reynolds echoed sentiments shared by many Marvel fans, who call for Snipes’ Blade to return.
Snipes has been credited with saving Marvel from bankruptcy with his hit 1998 Blade film, followed by 2002’s Blade II and 2004’s Blade: Trinity. The latter also starred Reynolds but was not as well received as the first two films, which allegedly led to some bad blood between the two actors.
So, you can imagine Snipes’ return as the human/vampire vamp hunter in Deadpool and Wolverine generated a lot of excitement, and Reynolds acknowledged that.
In an Instagram post, he called for “More Blade Please,” wanting Snipes’s version of Blade to get a sendoff akin to Hugh Jackman’s “Swan Song” in Logan.
“The reaction when @realwesleysnipes enters the movie is the most intense thing l’ve heard in a theater. People screaming with uninhibited joy and love is also the sound of a legacy. More Blade please. #DayWalker ***A Logan-style send off, specifically,” Reynolds wrote.
We can’t argue with that.
Can Ryan Reynolds Push Kevin Feige To Give Snipes’ Blade Another Movie?
We don’t know how much influence Ryan Reynolds has over Marvel Studios’ head, Kevin Feige, so it’s not certain that something like that will happen.
But he has a sound bargaining chip worth $1.029 billion. There is also that Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali as the titular character currently stuck in “development hell.” Still, Feige insists that his studio is taking its time so they can deliver a good film.
Still, many fans feel like Ryan Reynolds; you can see those reactions in the gallery below.

1. E-Man with some ideas for a Wesley Snipes movie, Kevin Feige we you are listening

2. We hope not, because we want BOTH!

3. We all did.

Marvel Studios is notoriously known for keeping things tight-lipped at the studio, but in a rare move, it clapped back at X-Men 97 creator Beau DeMayo following claims he made on social media.
After soaking in the epicness that was X-Men 97 on Disney+, many wanted to know why DeMayo, who, to his credit, delivered a flawless first season of television, was fired. Now, we have some answers.
The answer to the million-dollar question came after Beau DeMayo took to X, formerly Twitter, claiming he would no longer get a writing credit for the second season of X-Men 97.
DeMayo claimed that the decision was just one part of the “troubling pattern” of behavior he experienced while working for the multi-billion dollar studio.
Marvel Studios saw the claim and immediately said aht aht aht, revealing in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter that they gave DeMayo the boot in March following an extensive internal investigation that revealed “egregious” findings.
“Above is #XMen fan-art I posted on Instagram for Gay Pride in June. On June 13, #Marvel sent a letter notifying me that they’d stripped my Season 2 credits due to the post,” DeMayo wrote in a post on X while sharing a drawing of himself as a shirtless version of the X-Men’s team leader, Cyclops.
DeMayo, who also worked on a draft of Mahershela Ali’s stalled Blade movie and Moon Knight, continued, “Sadly, this is the latest in a troubling pattern I suffered through while working on #XMen97 and #Blade.”

Marvel Studios Said Hold Up, Wait A Minute Sir
In a rare move, Marvel Studios quickly rebuffed DeMayo, confirming what many speculated that DeMayo’s behavior was why he was fired.
“Mr. DeMayo was terminated in March 2024 following an internal investigation,” a Marvel spokesperson said in a statement. “Given the egregious nature of the findings, we severed ties with him immediately, and he has no further affiliation with Marvel.”
Sources revealed to THR that an agreement was reached between the two parties regarding tweeting about the show. DeMayo engaged with fans of the show frequently and shared insights into episodes after they aired.
Due to breaches in the agreement, Marvel Studios removed his name from the season two credits. No further details about his termination were shared, but THR reports it had something to do with “sexual misconduct.”
DeMyao did respond to THR’s reporting in a post on X, writing, “The truth will be revealed. After their Disney Plus disaster, Marvel wants to mislead with alleged contract breaches over tweets. It’s tragic it’s come to this, but unsurprising. Stay tuned.”
He added, “This is their Disney-Marvel’s usual playbook. Legal letters as well as other items to prove their long-standing pattern to follow . It’s about finding a safe outlet. Thanks for your faith and patience.”

Social media has been in a bind. They wanted to give DeMayo his flowers, some calling for his return to the show, while others were cautious because they were sensitive to the situation.
Now with this info out, they are reacting, you can see those thoughts in the gallery below.

Jonathan Majors has finally broken his silence about losing his Marvel Studios gig.
The actor revealed how he was feeling after seeing Robert Downey Jr. make his triumphant return to the universe he built, the MCU, and secure a tremendous bag to the play Marvel Studios’ next big bad, Victor Von Doom, aka Doctor Doom, officially putting to bed Major’ Kang The Conqueror.
Speaking with TMZ, Majors revealed he was “heartbroken” after Marvel Studios announced its latest casting decision at San Diego Comic-Con.
Majors’ Kang was set to play a significant role in this current phase after making his MCU debut in Loki season 1, then starring in Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quatumania.
That all came to a halt after Majors was convicted of assaulting his now ex-girlfriend, and Marvel Studios kicked him to the curb.
“Yeah, heartbroken,” Majors told the celebrity gossip site after being asked how he felt about RDJ taking over the villain role in the upcoming Avengers films. “Come on, yeah, of course. I love him. I love Kang.”

The actor expressed optimism about returning as Kang said, “If that’s what the fans want, if that’s what Marvel wants, let’s roll.”
We doubt that will happen.
Majors also talked about Ezra Miller, RDJ receiving second chances in their careers.

As expected, users on X, formerly Twitter, had plenty to say since the recasting decision. Some are still putting on their capes for Majors.
“Can we as black men agree to stop repeating the lies about Jonathan Majors??? He did not “fumble” anything. A racist white woman named Grace Jabbari weaponized a racist criminal justice system to ruin Jonathan Majors life with obvious falsehoods. Stop lying about that man,” one post on X read.
Others do not feel bad for him at all, and he compares his situation to Ezra Miller and RDJ.
“This is so misleading Ezra DID NOT get another shot. His movie was already filmed so DC(not Marvel/Disney) decided to still release it and not lose money. RDJ issues were over 20 years ago. Iron man was his redemption role and that came years after his mishaps,” another post read.
Welp.

We know even more about the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World, and it sounds like this should be a win for Marvel Studios.

Over the weekend, Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios triumphantly returned to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con to discuss their upcoming slate of movies coming to the MCU.

Coming off its first trailer, Captain America: Brave New World is Sam Wilson’s (Anthony Mackie) first feature-length film as the titular hero after taking over the mantle from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).

New Footage Confirms Plenty of Speculation About The Film’s Plot
During the panel, fans saw new footage from the film featuring President Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) finally talking about the giant elephant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the dead Celestial just chilling in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
Ross addresses world leaders during the Celestial Island Summit, revealing the now-dead Celestial, Tiamut, whose body is made of Adamantium, which now replaces Vibranium as the strongest metal on the planet.
The new U.S. President, who didn’t care for the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, wants Wilson to help form and lead a new Avengers squad.
The new footage also gave attendees an even better look at Ford as the Red Hulk, who was revealed to be the villain behind the destruction of the White House in the trailer.
Fans were happy to see Harrison Ford hit the stage and even reenact what he looked like “Hulking out” while filming.

Giancarlo Esposito finally revealed who he would play in the film, and it’s not who many thought it was. Initially, theories had Esposito playing G.W. Bridge, but, of course, they were wrong.

Esposito will play playing Sidewinder, the King of the Serpent Society.

Captain America: Brave New World arrives in theaters on February 14, 2025.
Other Big Announcements
High on the energy that Deadpool and Wolverine have injected into the Disney-owned studio, Feige happily announced that The Russo Brothers, who gave us easily the best films in the MCU, are back to direct the next two Avengers movies, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
We also learned Robert Downey Jr., the man who helped build the MCU as we know it as Tony Stark /Iron Man, will be back, but this time as Victor Von Doom, who happens to like the Infinity Saga’s hero or an evil variant aka the Infamous Iron Man.
Downey Jr.’s version of Doctor Doom will also allegedly be from the Fantastic 4: First Steps timeline, which introduces Marvel’s first family of superheroes to the MCU.
Footage of the film starring Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards /Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/ The Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/ The Thing) was also shown during the panel and gave attendees their first look at the planet devourer, Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson.
It is starting to feel like the MCU is back.
Just saying.

Marvel Studios dropped the first trailer for Marvel’s What If…? An Immersive Story, giving people who spent nearly $4,000 on the Apple Vision Pro a reason to turn it on.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to wield the power of the Infinity Stones, make sling ring portals, and cast mystic spells like Doctor Strange?
Well, Marvel Studios is giving you that feeling thanks to the power of the Apple Vision Pro.

The Disney-owned studio dropped the first trailer for Marvel’s What If…? An Immersive Story, which, for some bonehead reason, will live exclusively on the Apple Vision Pro, you know, the $3,500 headset not that many people in the world have.
Adapted exclusively for Apple’s high-end headset, the video game version of the animated Disney+ series will take users on a mixed-reality adventure, allowing them to experience the multiverse shenanigans that happen in episodes of the show.
Lile the Guardians of The Multiverse, players will team up with The Watcher and get help from our favorite Sorceror Supreme, Wong, to take down “dangerous variants.”
Vision Pro users will be taken from their living rooms or gaming caves to familiar and new Marvel locations and interact with characters from the Marvel Studios lexicon.
No controller is necessary to enjoy this experience; all you need is your eyes and hands to get into the action. Spatial audio will also aid in immersing you into the world of Marvel’s What If…?.
Marvel’s What If…? An Immersive Story Release Date & Cost
Surprisingly, you won’t have to wait long to experience this app. It will arrive on May 30 and be FREE but for a limited time.
You would think the free price tag would be forever since you already dropped rent on the Vision Pro.
We are curious to know if this will remain an Apple Vision Pro exclusive or eventually find its way onto the fully capable Meta Quest 3 headset.
You can ponder What If…? (see what we did there?) and watch the trailer below.

For the past few years films and shows released under the Marvel Studios banner have been receiving lackluster reviews and even less support from fans for various reasons such as weak stories, characters people aren’t really excited about and over-saturation of superhero content, which has led to superhero fatigue.

Knowing that changes have to be made in order to get back to the mountain top that the MCU stood upon back in their billion dollar box office days, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Co-President Louis D’Esposito know changes have to be made, and they’re ready to pull the trigger (and the plug) on some of their business practices going forward. According to Empire, Feige and D’Esposito have finally seen the writing on the wall and will begin to scale back on the number of projects that Marvel Studios releases on a yearly basis in hopes of countering the superhero fatigue they feel is to blame for disinterest in their MCU.

The move might actually be a step in the right direction as Deadpool & Wolverine will be the only Marvel film releasing in 2024. The hype behind it is ridiculous as fans of the MCU have been counting down the days to its release since the beginning of the year. How well future projects will fare will obviously depend on the popularity of the characters involved, but as they’ve learned, sometimes too much of a good thing can sometimes be a bad thing.
Empire reports:
“If we just stayed on top, that would have been the worst thing that could have happened to us. We took a little hit, we’re coming back strong.” That less-is-more ethos looks set to continue in years to come. “Maybe when you do too much, you dilute yourself a little bit,” says D’Esposito. “We’re not going to do that anymore. We learned our lesson. Maybe two to three films a year and one or two shows, as opposed to doing four films and four shows.”
For Marvel boss Kevin Feige, he’s seeing the positive side of the MCU being on the back-foot again – after all, back in Phase 1, that’s exactly where they began. “It’s nice to be able to rally behind one feature project this year,” he tells Empire. “I’m much more comfortable being the underdog. I prefer being able to surprise, and exceed expectations. So it does seem like the last year, which has not been ideal, has set us up well for that.”
With word that the X-Men and mutants are to be the main focus of the MCU for the next few phases while The Avengers take a backseat, Marvel Studios might be on the road to righting the ship that’s been seemingly sinking for quite some time. Though we doubt that Hugh Jackman will be the MCU’s Wolverine for the next decade or so (the man is 55 years old) there have been rumors that Henry Cavill has been cast to take on the role of Logan going forward at the tender age of 41.

Whether or not that’s true remains to be seen, but it will be interesting to see how Marvel Studios plans on resurrecting their dying brand now that they seem to have a game plan for the future and beyond.
What do y’all think of Marvel’s plan on scaling back on the number of projects they’ll be releasing on a yearly basis? Let us know in the comments section below.

We’re still a few months away from finally indulging in the highly-anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine movie. The latest trailer to the film almost ensures that it will cross the billion-dollar mark as it features all kinds of action, comedic dialogue and a lot of cursing.

With Madonna’s “Like A Prayer” playing in the background, we find Deadpool recruiting a hesitant and somewhat broken Wolverine for his mission to save the Marvel multiverse. Apparently, this version of Wolverine somehow “let down” his universe and may be looking to make amends. Ultimately, he joins Deadpool on his quest to save all of Marvel’s realities, but not before squaring up against the Merc With A Mouth. With all kinds of violence, comedic quips and F-bombs galore, the hype for this film will only intensify in the coming months. And we still haven’t seen any of the guest superhero cameos that have been rumored for months.

From Wolverine fighting the Hulk to Thor supposedly crying over Deadpool’s dead body, fans are said to be in for a treat when this film finally hits theaters. We only hope all these rumors prove to be true because if they’re not, we’re going to be low-key let down. Just sayin’.
Check out the second trailer to Deadpool & Wolverine, and let us know if you’re as hype for this film as we are in the comments section below.

Source: Marvel Studios / Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania / Kang
Due to “Marvel fatigue,” whatever the hell that is, Marvel Studios made a pivot on its once very successful strategy for its films and Disney+ series. A THR article is shedding more light on that shift and claims that the studio was quietly working to burn Kang out of the MCU.
Following the flop of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, THR reports Marvel Studios began to panic because the film had the immense task of kickstarting the next phase in the MCU and introducing its next Thanos-like villain, Kang The Conqueror, landed with a thud.
But what is most interesting is that behind the scenes, they were taking steps to move away from Kang The Conqueror.
The film’s shockingly poor performance and actor Jonathan Majors’ conviction, leading to his immediate firing by Marvel Studios, set off a series of motions of the Disney-owned studio. They have reportedly taken Kang’s name off the title of the next Avengers movie.
Per THR:
The first of the new Avengers movies, due out in 2026, was initially titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty but will be getting a new title to remove the character’s name, though sources say that even before Majors’ conviction, the studio was making moves to minimize the character after Quantumania underperformed, grossing $476 million.
Preceding the revelations about Kang The Conqueror, many, including this writer, were calling C A P on that because despite Majors’s legal issues, he was the best part about Quantumania, and even in Loki, and still want him to be recast, and a part of the MCU’s current phase.

Don’t Cout Out Marvel Studios Just Yet
There are still a few things Marvel Studios can hang its hat on. The future is still bright for the MCU, and by no stretch of the imagination is the DCU, which is still struggling to find its footing after James Gunn has taken over.
With Marvel Jesus, aka Deadpool, on the way with Deadpool and Wolverine, X-Men 97, Fantastic Four, and other projects still on the way, this writer isn’t counting the Marvel Studios out.
You can peep more reactions to Marvel Studios allegedly trying to blame Kang for its “box office woes” in the gallery below.

1. Yeah, we are calling C A P on this also

2. Nope, he sure wasn’t

Anthony Mackie’s new Captain America suit could have leaked, and it looks clean.
If you were not a fan of Sam Wilson’s white, red, and blue costume from Falcon and the Winter Soldier, then you might love his new look in his upcoming solo film, Captain America: Brave New World.

A Marvel fan spotted the new superhero drip Anthony Mackie will wear on Reddit in an apparent leak of merchandise tied to the delayed film.

The new suit will take its cues from Steve Roger’s classic Captain America costume with a classic clean blue, red, and white look that will reflect Cap’s Vibranium shield and extend to his wings.

With any leak regarding Marvel Studios properties, take this with a grain of salt, but we hope this rumor is true.
More Captain America: Brave New World Rumors
Another rumor involving the film’s upcoming plot has also hit timelines, and according to the leak, Captain America Brave New World and the Thunderbolts will address the giant dead Celestial sticking out of the ocean.
@HolyfieldM5 on X, formerly Twitter, claims, “Tiamut is confirmed to be a main Plot in ‘CAPTAIN AMERICA BRAVE NEW WORLD’ and ‘THUNDERBOLTS’ films. In ‘ETERNALS’ we seen Sersi turn Tiamut into Stone which is now confirmed to be Adamantium in the MCU US President Thunderbolt Ross and the Government has secretly known about the celestial in the ocean and haven’t publicly said anything because they want it for Themselves which is why they assemble the Thunderbolts.”

Again, take all of this with the tiniest grain of salt.
We will find out if any of these rumors pan out when Marvel Studios drops a trailer for both projects, which ironically had their release dates shifted.

Captain America: Brave New World is on track to hit theaters on February 14, 2025, and will star Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.
Harrison Ford will make his MCU debut as Thaddeus Ross, taking over William Hurt, who passed away.
