A$AP Rocky‘s grandma is definitely in the Navy. In the rapper’s new Vogue cover story celebrating his upcoming stint as a Met Gala co-chair published Tuesday (April 15), his father’s mother gushed about Rihanna — and more specifically, the impact the Fenty mogul has had on her grandson.
Telling the publication that she’s always known Rocky was destined for big things, Grandma Cathy shared that she’s especially proud of her grandson’s partnership with Rihanna, with whom he shares two young sons. “She loves her some RiRi,” the “F–kin’ Problems” musician said of his grandmother.
“I’m glad that he settled down, and I’m happy with who he settled down with,” said Cathy. “[Rihanna’s] a down-to-earth person.”

Ri and Rocky first sparked dating rumors in early 2020, welcoming first son RZA two years later. Little Riot Rose came along 15 months later.
Describing his love for the “Umbrella” singer as “internal, external, infinite, the past, the future,” the Harlem native also shared an update on his kids with Vogue. “The older one, he stays to himself — he likes his books,” he told the publication, adding that Riot, on the other hand, loves attention. “He likes to take stuff from his brother so his brother can chase him.”
The interview comes just a few weeks ahead of the 2025 Met Gala, which Rocky will spearhead alongside co-chairs Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams — all of whom are also gracing different Vogue covers this month. This year’s theme — “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” — will celebrate dandyism and the evolution of Black menswear dating back to the 18th century. (By the way, Ms. Cathy is a big fan of the Euphoria actor. “My grandma got a crush on Colman Domingo,” Rocky told Vogue, with the matriarch confirming, “I love him.”)
Rocky has long been a fashion-first hip-hop star and even designs his own clothing, premiering a collection titled American Sabotage last year. In his 2024 Billboard cover story, the hitmaker called the moment “surreal” while also opening up about his relationship with Ri, saying, “It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules.”
“[The relationship] is going great,” he continued at the time. “I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend [the] most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.”
Tale as old as time, true as it can be. Like countless parents every spring, Jelly Roll got emotional as he sent his daughter, Bailee Ann, off to her very first prom, with the teenager looking gorgeous in a yellow dress mirroring Disney’s Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
In a sweet clip set to Cody Johnson’s nostalgia-ridden track “Dirt Cheap” that Bailee posted to TikTok over the weekend, the “Son of a Sinner” singer looks choked up as he walks toward the camera with a bouquet of roses. It then cuts to Jelly and his firstborn standing side by side as the musician flashes a huge smile before spinning Bailee around.
“my built in best friend,” Bailee wrote of her dad in the caption.

Jelly’s wife, podcaster Bunnie XO, also shared footage from the day, starting with Bailee’s getting-ready process. “You’re going to look like a little princess tonight!” Bunnie gushes as her stepdaughter — over whom she shares full custody with the country star — gets her hair done. “It’s your first prom, I’m so excited, oh my god.”
“I call her the Prom Pimp,” Jelly jokes right after. “That’s what I’m calling her: the Prom Pimp.”
Later, as Bailee and her friends take photos in their fancy outfits, Bunnie films her famous husband hugging a family friend with tears in his eyes. “Are you motherf–kers crying? You’re supposed to be the men of the family!” the Dumb Blonde host jokes as Jelly laughs. “What is happening?”
Bailee’s prom comes just a couple of weeks ahead of Jelly’s April 29 kickoff show in Salt Lake City with Post Malone on the Big Ass Stadium Tour. The trek follows the October release of the “Need a Favor” artist’s album, Beautifully Broken, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
But even with everything going on career-wise, Jelly — who is also Dad to a son named Noah — and Bunnie are currently in the process of trying to expand their family through IVF. The latter has been open about her journey with the treatments in recent months, telling listeners on a March podcast episode, “It’s very lonely … It’s just you and these hormones and the waiting and the egg retrieval. And like, you’re the only person who can go through that, you know? So it’s a lot to bear.”
Jelly has also been open about how far he’s come as a parent to Bailee, telling Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett on the trio’s Smartless podcast in March that he had to fight for his chance to have a relationship with the now-teenager as he was incarcerated on drug charges at the time of her birth. “Her mother, at the time … rightfully so [because I was] a f–king criminal, wouldn’t let me see her,” the “Save Me” musician recalled.
“So I had to go to court,” he added at the time. “I had to get supervised visits through the courtroom … I just had to keep going to the court every six months and going, ‘Look, I’m continuing to prove I’m changing.’ Music, being famous, wasn’t even a thought then. I just wanted to be a good dad.”

Congratulations are in order for Dave Navarro and Vanessa DuBasso, who tied the knot in Scotland on Saturday (March 29).
The 57-year-old Jane’s Addiction guitarist and 31-year-old actress and fashion designer exchanged vows at Dunskey Estate in Stranraer, Scotland, People reports. The couple’s gothic-inspired ceremony took place within a castle nestled at the secluded coastal estate, surrounded by lush greenery and views of the sea.
“It exudes a moody, ethereal charm,” DuBasso told the publication. “Surrounded by a towering forest, a serene lake and the ruins of a castle along the shoreline, it felt like stepping into a fairytale.”

Navarro added, “We wanted our wedding to feel like a dream. It was important to us to find a place that felt unlike anywhere we had ever been, a place that embraced nature and transported us to another world. We wanted our loved ones to share in this intimate experience.”

The pair exchanged handwritten vows in a forest ceremony officiated by Dunskey Estate owner Ali Orr Ewing. Among the guests was comedian Pete Davidson. It’s unclear if any members of Jane’s Addiction were in attendance.
The Grammy-nominated guitarist, who also played with the Red Hot Chili Peppers from in the 1990s, shared glimpses of the magical weekend on his Instagram Stories the following day. Among the behind-the-scenes moments were photos of the couple skeet shooting in the countryside, a heartwarming video of them exchanging smiles during a candlelit dinner, and a stunning clip of a fireworks display.
Navarro and DuBasso met eight years ago after the veteran musician saw a movie trailer featuring the actress. Navarro reached out to the film’s director, a friend of his, asking if DuBasso would be interested in going on a date with him, according to People.
This marks Navarro’s fourth marriage. He was previously married to Tania Goddard in the early ’90s, followed by a brief marriage to Rhian Gittins in the mid-’90s, and then to Carmen Electra in the early 2000s.

The pack takes inspiration from characters and designs from the original TMNT cartoon that debuted in 1987. The first release, the MB.01 “Baxter Stockman”, is a multi-colored iridescent sneaker inspired by the half-man, half-fly mad scientist. The second limited-edition drop embodies Donatello and Raphael (the smartest and toughest members of the turtle squad) in a unique mismatched MB.04 design, which represents the turtles through their distinct bandana colors. The following release puts Leonardo and Michelangelo at the forefront with a blue and orange colorway.

The final and more recent drop is a hot pink and purple MB.03 model, dedicated to alien supervillain Krang. The MB.03 Lo Krang features PUMA Hoops’ signature technology, NITROFOAM, which is found throughout the midsole and offers superior responsiveness and comfort while remaining lightweight. For quick cuts and spot up jumpers, a full-coverage nonslip rubber compound provides enhanced durability and traction. And the shoe’s disruptive upper construction, made with breathable monomesh, provides a supportive yet ultra-lightweight feel.
Boasting the same innovation as the MB.01 and MB.03 models, the MB.04 Donatello & Raphael and MB.04 Leonardo & Michelangelo styles come complete with a 5D printed upper – a multi-layered design that engulfs the shoe like alien tentacles – and a custom TMNT graphic at the heel. Additional design cues are inspired by Melo’s signature phrases, “1 of 1” and “RARE” hidden throughout the shoe.
“It’s been great bringing these designs to life. Each sneaker really is 1 of 1,” LaMelo shares in a statement.
The PUMA Hoops x TMNT collaboration also includes an apparel collection, featuring t-shirts, shorts, a hoodie, track suits and more. Shop the collection on Puma’s site, as well as, below.

Nick Cannon already has 12 kids, but he’s still hoping for a baker’s dozen — and maybe even a few more after that. Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO are currently in the midst of a challenging IVF journey, but it has its perks.
In a hilarious video shared by the Dumb Blonde podcaster on TikTok Tuesday (March 18), she comes down off of anesthesia following a fertility treatment. “Not gonna lie, I love propofol,” she says drowsily, lying back in a hospital bed as a healthcare professional tends to her. “That’s good s–t.”
“I’m f–king high as hell,” Bunnie continues in the clip, verbalizing her stream of consciousness. “I’m so thankful, praise Jesus … Did I poop on the doctor?”
For the record, the entrepreneur did not poop on the doctor, as the caregiver in the room quickly assured her.

As good of a time as she appeared to have this time around while sedated, Bunnie shared in the comments that she had been “so stressed” about having to undergo anesthesia leading up to the procedure. “Mrs. Bunnie doing what she can for babies regardless of being terrified of anesthesia!” one fan had written, to which she replied, “I didn’t even sleep last night I was so stressed.”
The “Son of a Sinner” singer and Bunnie first revealed that they were trying to welcome children through in vitro fertilization in June last year. The two stars are already parents to 16-year-old Bailee, whom Jelly welcomed in a previous relationship but now shares full custody of with Bunnie. Jelly also has a son, Noah, from a previous relationship.
“My wife and I are talking about having a baby,” the country star said at the time on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, after which Bunnie clarified on Instagram, “We had planned on doing this privately, but decided our IVF journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open. And w/ all odds stacked against us, it’s already been hard and we have only just begun. We have been meeting with IVF doctors & exploring all our options to add to our family.”
Jelly is currently on tour in support of his Billboard 200-topping album Beautifully Broken. In April, he’ll kick off his joint stadium trek in North America with Post Malone.
While he’s on the road, Bunnie has seemingly been holding down the fort at home while continuing with her IVF treatments. In another TikTok shared a few days prior to the video about her latest clinic visit, she sits in a chair and acts out calling her husband on the phone, hilariously mouthing along to an audio that says, “I’m f–king cleaning, like I’m always doing.”
“When my husby is working hard on tour in another country & I’m at home baking eggs in my ovaries chilling by the pool,” she captioned the clip.
