A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have two kids together — sons RZA and Riot — but the Harlem rapper knew she was the one since they connected when they were just emerging stars.
Rocky detailed his special connection with RiRi and gushed about the mother of his children while gracing the cover of W Magazine on Tuesday (Oct. 8), which was shot by Rihanna.
“I knew from when we were younger,” he said of when he knew the nine-time Grammy winner — whom he called his “perfect person” in his Billboard cover story — was the one to be the mother of his kids. “We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected.”

The “Fashion Killa” rapper also recalled a time when he was kicked out of a nightclub, and Rihanna came outside and stuck up for him to the staff to let him get inside. Rocky added that they began dating prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, around “2019, 2020.”
“It’s a lot of history between us. I was kicked out of this nightclub,” he said. “They wasn’t giving me no access to it. This is when I’m just starting out, so nobody knows me. I was with Matthew Williams and Virgil. I was getting into it with the bouncers, and she came out. We just locked eyes. She didn’t even know us, but she was like, ‘Yo! Why y’all not letting him in? What’s wrong with you?! Let that man in!’”
A portion of the interview was conducted across the street from Rocky’s NYC apartment, where the late creative Virgil Abloh shot the “Fashion Killa” music video in 2012. Rocky shared, “This is very special because this is the first place she fell in love with me.”
RZA was born in 2022, and Riot followed the next year. The A$AP Mob frontman credited having his mom and Rihanna’s parents around to help them. “I’m so happy that I at least still got one parent,” he stated. “If I didn’t have the support of our [his and Rihanna’s] parents, I don’t know what we would be doing.”
Rocky has been busy on the music side as well as he prepares for the release of his anticipated Don’t Be Dumb, which was delayed until the fall. He’s charted a trio of singles to the Billboard Hot 100 with “Hijack,” (No. 89) “Tailor Swif” (No. 84) and the J. Cole-assisted “Ruby Rosary” (No. 85).

Cardi B is setting the record straight as fans speculate about her curves.
After a video of the rapper’s hourglass figure led some people online to accuse her of undergoing plastic surgery, Cardi shut down the rumor mill by sharing a snapshot and video of herself in form-fitting dresses on X Saturday (Oct. 5). “Y’all really need to relax ..This is how my body REALLY LOOKS LIKE,” she wrote.
“My body looks exaggerated in the other video cause I have a 5X faja on…I want yall to think wit yall brain,” the “WAP” musician continued, referring to her shapewear. “Yall was just praising my body couple days ago …do yall think I went and got surgery in 2 days ?😫😂”
Cardi’s post came as a response specifically to one person who tweeted, “The fact Cardi B really did that to her body is pissing me off! 😔😒.. Like y’all gotta start loving yourself ladies!”
Around the same time, a clip taken from the Grammy winner’s Instagram Story was circulating on X. In the video, Cardi filmed her reflection in the mirror — showing off her slim waist and impossibly round hips — while lamenting how she struggles to lose weight around her face.

Shortly after revealing that she’d actually been wearing hip enhancements in the video, the Whipshots founder also retweeted a fan’s post that noted, “you can’t get surgery unless the child you had 6months and up anyway.”
Cardi, who welcomed her third baby with estranged husband Offset in September, simply replied, “THANK YOU.”
The “Up” musician has previously been open about going under the knife to modify her body, at one point postponing shows under doctor’s orders to recover from plastic surgery 2019. In 2023, she blasted a critic who implied that she was lying about her exercise routine, writing, “How vocal have I been about my procedures??? … there’s this thing called visceral fat… It’s fat that grows under the muscle and you can’t lipo it only thing you can do is work it out!”
Cardi is also mom to 6-year-old daughter Kulture and 3-year-old son Wave. Cardi first revealed that she was expecting Baby No. 3 on Aug. 1, the same day Billboard confirmed that she had filed to divorce the Migos rapper.

Who Is Performing at the AMAs 50th Anniversary Special?
Carey will perform a medley of songs from The Emancipation of Mimi in honor of the album’s 20th anniversary. Stray Kids will deliver a special performance “honoring the legacy of boy bands,” per Paramount. RAYE is set to perform the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World,” Knight will perform of “Midnight Train to Georgia” and Hudson will honor Whitney Houston. Brad Paisley will honor the late Charley Pride, the first American Music Award (AMA) winner for Country Male and Country Album, and perform new single “Truck Still Works.”
Green Day will perform their latest hit, “Dilemma.”

Get ready for happy hour with Billboard’s Tetris Kelly and bartender friend Rachel Hale as they guide you through making three signature Beyoncé whiskey-inspired cocktails. Join them step-by-step to create a smooth and delicious drink.
In this Billboard’ SirDavis Cocktails Recipes video, you’ll learn how to make three Beyoncé-inspired cocktails, including the honey bee, the SirDavis old fashion, and the whiskey lemonade. “We are going to start with the cocktail that is named after the Queen Bee herself, the honey bee,” Hale said. The honey bee is started off with two ounces of the Sir Davis whiskey, three quarters of fresh lemon juice, and half an ounce of house made honey syrup. Then, add some ice, get a cocktail shaker to shake up your drink, use your strainer, and pour it on your favorite ribbed cocktail glass. Twist a slice of lemon peel and garnish the rim of your glass for an added burst of flavor.
The next Beyoncé-inspired cocktail featured in the video is the SirDavis Old Fashion Cocktail. In this drink, you’ll also add two ounces of the SirDavis Whisky and your honey syrup. Unlike the first drink, this one includes two dashes of Angostura Bitters. You can add some ice, mix it up with a stainless steel cocktail spoon, pour it into your favorite glass coffee mug, and you can garnish this one with an orange peel. You can also drop the orange peel into your drink. According to Hale, the bitters add some spice. “It’s a concentrated alcohol,” she said.
Finally, you’ll be making the whiskey lemonade cocktail. This one also includes two ounces of the SirDavis Whisky. “This will probably be the easiest one because we’re going right into our glass,” Hale said. There is also no shaker needed for this one. Add four ounces of freshly squeezed lemonade. Yes, if you’re a part of the beehive member, this one is completely on brand. You can play Beyonce’s Lemonade studio album while making this one. Then, add a little splash of your favorite honey syrup and stir it up.
