The “Munch” rapper’s terra cotta figurine features her signature orange Afro, where the chia sprouts will take one to two weeks to fully sprout from, her pink hoodie, and $100,000 diamond chain with the cartoon rendering of her face.

“Like my lyrics say, ‘I’m breakin’ records and I’m breakin’ news,’” she said in a statement obtained by Complex. “I’m not sure who stole whose look, but I’m into it and am very excited about this fun partnership. Chia Pet is an iconic brand with a dope jingle — so we have that in common.”

Pio Mio Studios even made an old-school commercial to go along with the Munchkin-approved product.

“My manager Tara is such a beast,” JB Brode, founder and owner of Living Product, told Complex. “She connected us to help design merch for Ice Spice. Ideating around that led us to this lightbulb moment like, ‘Damn, an Ice Spice Chia Pet would be crazy.’ It started as just an idea for a graphic, but we knew that the idea deserved its own moment. We pitched it to Spice’s team, who graciously let us pursue the official collaboration with Chia, and many months and negotiations later here we are. The commercial really brought it full circle for us. Our guys at Pio Mio Studios executed our vision perfectly and it tied everything together beautifully.”

Ice Spice’s Chia Pet costs $34.99 and is available to purchase on Chia.com and Amazon, and it will be available on IceSpiceMusic.com starting Friday.

Harry Styles’ Mom Defends His Shaved Head: ‘There’s an Irony in the Negativity’

Harry Styles‘ new hairstyle (or lack thereof) hasn’t exactly been popular with fans since the pop star unveiled his buzz cut last week, and Mama Styles has had enough.

In a Friday (Nov. 17) Instagram post, the 29-year-old singer’s mom, Anne Twist, passionately denounced critics of her son’s shaved head. “When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are …,” she wrote, sharing a photo of Styles sans his famous dark curls. “There’s an irony in the negativity he’s been shown for having a haircut.”

The children’s book author also included a photo of a headline alleging that fans were “shocked” by the “As It Was” singer’s new look, quoting one person as having said, “Ruined my entire life.”

“Sorry but I don’t get it ??‍♀️,” Twist continued, adding a hashtag referencing Styles’ trademark “Treat People With Kindness” phrase: “#TPWK”

Twist’s post comes one week after a video emerged of Styles minus his locks enjoying a U2 concert at Las Vegas’ new Sphere venue alongside Bones and All actress Taylor Russell, his rumored girlfriend since June. Fans weren’t shy about expressing their grief over the loss of his iconic hair, many of them taking to Twitter to mourn with hilarious memes and penning emotional reactions to, in their words, “Bald Harry.”

“how tf are you gonna be named harry styles with no hair to style,” tweeted one person, while another fan wrote, “harry styles shaving his head was not in my bingo card for 2023.”

A couple days later, Styles confirmed his buzz-cut era by posing for a portrait in celebration of his brand Pleasing’s new fragrance launch.

Get ready to deck the halls, Mimi-style! Mattel is releasing a Mariah Carey Barbie doll to celebrate the Queen of Christmas this holiday season.

The Mariah Carey Barbie was released on Friday (Nov. 17) via Mattel Shop. Capturing Carey’s “signature flair and dazzling style,” the doll wears a glittery, trumpet gown with matching red heels. The festive, red dress features ruched overlay with a dramatic slit and sparkly silvery jewelry. The doll also holds a silver microphone and wears a tiny replica of Carey’s butterfly ring.

I hope all collectors and fans everywhere enjoy the holiday season and hopefully the Mariah Barbie will be a wonderful addition to it!”

The Mariah Carey Barbie retails for $75 and is available at Mattel Shop while supplies last.

Carey’s Barbie release coincides with her Merry Christmas One and All Tour, which launched on Thursday and will continue throughout next month. The “All I Want for Christmas” superstar will take a short break from touring to perform her holiday hit at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday — marking the song’s awards-show debut.

The holiday season is just gearing up and it’s been a busy time for Carey, who starred in holiday campaigns for Victoria’s Secret and The Children’s Place. Earlier this week, Carey released her own line of holiday merchandise through her Amazon Merch Shop.

Carey is the latest music legend to get the Barbie treatment. Mattel has released Barbie dolls of several music icons including Stevie Nicks, Tina Turner and Gloria Estefan.

Harry Styles’ Haircut Is Hard-Launched in a New Photo: See His Buzz Cut

For fans in denial about Harry Styles‘ shaved head, it’s real.

On Wednesday (Nov. 15), the Instagram account for Pleasing — the beauty and apparel line launched by Styles in 2021 — shared a photo of their founder with his infamous new buzz cut on full display.

“Our Founder, Harry Styles, toasts the launch of Pleasing Fragrance with friends in London. November, 2023,” the photo’s caption reads, along with a photo credit for frequent Styles photographer Lloyd Wakefield.

In the pic, the newly shorn Styles wears a chocolate-brown sweater with two white kissing swans knit on the front. According to an X post from Harry Styles Daily, the Pleasing sweater will be available for purchase on Dec. 1.

Before the Pleasing photo, TMZ shared a fan-shot video on Nov. 9 of Styles’ new hairstyle, taken as he and rumored girlfriend Taylor Russell watched U2 play at the newly opened Las Vegas Sphere. Fan reaction ran the gamut, with one sharing on X: “how tf are you gonna be named harry styles with no hair to style.” Another wrote, “interrupting the conversation in every group chat to tell everyone that harry styles got a buzzcut.”

It’s hardly the first time Styles has switched up his haircut. When he first became famous with One Direction, he had a shaggy, side-swept haircut that morphed into the long locks he sported through his debut solo era. Then, he wore his hair in a well-manicured bouffant for the past couple of years.

Elf on a Shelf season is upon us, but the cute little Christmas Elf doll is facing some friendly competition in the form of Snoop on the Stoop.

The 12-inch Snoop Dogg plush is back in stock for the holidays, although there’s no telling how long it’ll be around. The officially licensed Snoop on the Stoop Christmas Elf ($49.99) is available at Amazon and it’s already gaining steam with over 4,000 purchases in the last month. The doll could go out of stock as we get closer to Christmas.

Walmart also sells a Snoop Dogg Christmas Elf Doll ($24.98) that has been flying off the shelves. Over 1,000 Walmart shoppers purchased the Snoop Dogg Christmas Elf on Tuesday (Nov. 14).

You Can Get Ugg Slipper Dupes at Amazon for Under $50

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, Billboard may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

From boots to booties and slippers, Uggs are insanely cute (and comfortable), but they might be a little too expensive for some shoppers. If you’re on a budget, you can find Ugg dupes for less than $50 at Amazon.

For example, this best-selling women’s slipper is a knockoff of the Ugg Tazz Slipper ($130). It looks nearly identical to the Tazz — at a fraction of the price.

The “comfy clog” as one shopper called it, is available in brown, beige and black, and you can wear it inside or outside. Similar to the Tazz, the slipper features a braided rib design, a tumbled leather upper- and a 1.5-inch platform sole.

“Very comfortable for both indoor and outdoor,” reads one customer review. “They have similar quality but less expensive than famous brands. It will be perfect if they can arrive earlier.”

Another shopper wrote, “This platform slipper exceeded my expectations! Super soft and warm inside and definitely cute enough to wear out of the house!”

Amazon has a decent selection of Ugg slipper dupes, such as these $50 booties, which are similar to the Ugg Tasman Clipper ($109.95). The dupe is available in chestnut, beige and black.

Kim Kardashian Describes Explaining Kanye West Divorce to Their Kids: ‘You Never Go to a Negative Side’

Divorce is never easy on the children. And when the two people splitting up are the most famous reality TV star in the world and one of the most well-known rappers on the planet — whose every move is dissected and chronicled by the tabloids — things get even stickier.

Kim Kardashian dives into that uncomfortable talk in a new GQ cover feature, in which she looks back at the lessons she learned from her father, O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian, and dissects how he still inspires her to this day.

Kardashian and her ex, Kanye West (who now goes by Ye) first filed for divorce in 2021, completing their split in November 2022 after marrying in 2014 and having four children together. The GQ piece explores how Kim’s approach to the split was informed by the difficult divorce Robert Kardashian went through with wife Kris Jenner, something eldest daughter Kourtney said she knew about through the couple’s “whisper arguing. My parents never fought my whole life, so it was traumatizing when they did,” she said.

Kim, then nine-years-old — around same age eldest daughter North is now — never heard their fights, though, and when they called in the girls for a family meeting she said she “felt it.” She remembered her parents being “open” with them about the divorce, something she said she’s tried to keep in mind for when her children might ask her about their parent’s split.

“Ultimately, what matters is that kids feel loved and heard,” she said. “You want to be sensitive because they’re just kids, and it’s hard to go through no matter what age. You have to make sure that you only go to a level that they can understand. It’s okay to show a vulnerable side. You never go to a negative side.”

That said, restraint doesn’t completely alleviate the emotional difficulty of divorce, which, in this case, was compounded by Ye’s 2022 public meltdown, in which the rapper went on a series of hateful antisemitic rants and disturbing public pronouncements about Nazis that effectively melted down his once formidable $1 billion music and fashion empire.

“Just because I know how to manage my stress well doesn’t mean that I don’t feel the emotions,” Kardashian said. “If I’m sad, of course I will cry and feel it.”

The writer asked Kardashian’s sisters and a longtime friend how she’s changed since the divorce and they all pointed to a renewed confidence. “Not that she wasn’t confident before,” said younger sister Khloé, “but it’s a different assurance that she has in herself. She knows she can do it on her own. She knows the power that she has within herself, as opposed to thinking the power was in someone else’s hands.”

Childhood friend Allison Statter added that Kim was “scared” to break up with Ye, “‘Cause deep down inside she wanted her family to stay together. And because she was like, ‘I don’t know what life is going to be like on the other side of this.’ I was just so proud of her.”

The piece also touches on how Kim was influenced to launch a men’s version of her SKIMS shapewear line by her dad’s sartorial taste and interest in menswear. “This man had style,” Kardashian said of her father, who exclusively wore Gucci when he began dating Kris Jenner.

He always wanted to look cool,” she said, remembering him coming in to visit her at the trendy Encino, CA store Body when she worked there as a teen. “Diesel was one of the brands we carried. They had a cool pair of jeans. They were wax-coated. My dad’s office was really close by, so he’d always stop in. He said, ‘I have to have those.’ I got them for him. He would wear them with just a black T-shirt and a loafer,” she recalled.

Her self-made dad’s entrepreneurial spirt, and insistence that his kids learn a work ethic, has been passed along to Kim’s kids. As an example, she says North sets up a lemonade stand at the end of their street most weeks and hangs out for hours, using a clever sliding-scale payment method: $2 for randos, but sometimes $20 for people she knows. “I’ll get calls from my friends saying she charged them $20 for a lemonade. She’ll grab their $20 and say, ‘I don’t have any change’,” Kardashian said.

Next year, she will hit the road for the Country’s Cool Again Tour sponsored by Wrangler. The trek is expected to stop in more than 35 cities, starting with Nashville on May 31, 2024.

“Nothing gets me buzzin’ like putting on a show and singing along with the crowd,” Wilson said in October. “I want to give a big thank you to all of the fans who have continuously showed up and showed out this year. We can’t wait to see you nationwide on the Country’s Cool Again Tour!”
