Playboi Carti’s Music album has been a staple on the charts since its arrival in March, and King Vamp returned Tuesday (April 8) to release a visualizer for “Fine Shit.”

Set in Miami, Carti comes alive in the 305’s nighttime and throws a turned-up yacht party off the 305 coast with plenty of homies and women twerking on multiple decks.

The Atlanta rapper isn’t equipped to take a dip and join the jacuzzi fun since he pulled up in Chrome Hearts boots and jorts with plenty of ice around his neck and wrists.

“My bi— so bad, she can’t even go outside,” he brags to open the track. Instead, Carti enjoys a smoke break while sipping and flexing some cash. He ends up bringing a pair of girls to the private bedroom cabin to get away from the action for a bit, where things get spicy.

Produced by F1lthy, “Fine Shit” has been a fan favorite from Music with Carti utilizing his signature baby voice. The R&B-leaning track debuted at No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 16 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

After Playboi Carti topped the Billboard 200 for two weeks, he dropped down to No. 2 on this week’s chart as Ariana Grande vaulted back to No. 1 for a third week following the release of her Eternal Sunshine Deluxe.

In the wake of Music, Carti has continued to tease his next endeavor with his Baby Boi project, which DJ Swamp Izzo claims is “ready” and “done.”

“New music. He got over 50, 60 songs done,” he said. “Completed to his liking? I couldn’t say. But they’re done. If I was still in that mixtape era, we’d have Baby Boi one through nine. Fifteen years ago, we were so heartfelt on them exclusives. We couldn’t even sleep until we put it out before everybody.”

Kai Cenat takes pride in giving back to the community, and one recent clip found him covering the cost of a pizza order for two young fans and their father after the children recognized him.

The heartwarming gesture went viral on social media and made it onto Rihanna’s radar earlier this week, who praised the streamer in a direct message on Monday (April 7).

“Kaaaaaiii!! I love this,” the Fenty mogul wrote to Kai. “I know you do this all the time, but the kidsss! And they genuinely love you! Great job all around man!”

Cenat was live streaming in his house when he read the message from RiRi showing him love on Instagram, which sent him into a frenzy. “Kai, I love this,” he repeated while bumping Rihanna’s “Diamonds.” “This is when I paid for the kids’ meal.” He also left an open invitation for Rih and A$AP Rocky to come join him for a stream in the future.

“Rihanna dead-a– just texted me, gang,” he said. “While on stream, gang. Now listen, RiRi, if you’re listening to this, all I gotta say is if you been thinking about hopping on a stream, let me know. You too, A$AP, too. A$AP done posted my video on Twitter before. The whole fam. God damn you, Ray J!”

A fan gave Cenat his flowers for connecting with Rihanna following his generosity: “Aaaah, that’s so epic!! Rihanna sliding into Kai’s DMs?? That’s a major flex! Kai’s living the dream right now!”

RiRi could slide into a stream with Cenat this summer when she stars in the upcoming Smurfs movie, which will hit theaters on July 18 and feature new music from the Grammy-winning singer.

In celebration of Cypress Hill‘s seminal sophomore effort Black Sunday, the rap group announced it’ll be launching a new graphic novel titled CYPRESS Hill: BLACK SUNDAY.

On Tuesday (April 8), the news broke that the band had been hard at working crafting the comic alongside Z2 Comics and writers Noah Callahan-Bever and Gabriel Alvarez. The forthcoming graphic novel celebrates the groundbreaking impact of Black Sunday, taking readers on a journey through the making of the album and its everlasting impact. The comic’s cover is designed by artist Jay Papke, who made Black Sunday‘s original cover art, and the back of the book will include a new interview with the band.

“We called it Black Sunday because we’re Raiders fans and also Black Sabbath fans,” B-Real said in a press release about the graphic novel. “So Black Sunday felt like an appropriate title for the album. We tried to match the imagery up with what we were putting down musically.”

Platinum Edition-buyers will also receive an exclusive vinyl of Cypress Hill and the London Symphony Orchestra’s live run through of Black Sunday at Royal Albert Hall that went down last July. The live album will also drop June 6. The graphic novel is currently available for pre-order on Z2 Comics’ website, and will release to the masses on June 3.

This marks the second time Cypress Hill has linked with Z2 Comics. They had previously joined forces for a Tres Equis graphic novel back in 2021, charting the group’s time after the release of its groundbreaking debut.

“The work we started together on Cypress Hill: Tres Equis only gets better. Collaborating again with Cypress, Noah and Gabriel to tell the true story of Black Sunday resulted in another sequential masterpiece,” Z2’s president, Josh Bernstein, said in a statement. “It’s an honor working with B-Real, Sen-Dog, Muggs, Bobo and the entire Cypress Hill + Z2 families to ensure this project smokes.”

J. Cole did some reminiscing during his headlining set at his Dreamville Festival 2025 over the weekend, and he recalled a time when Jay-Z pulled up on him in the studio with Beyoncé to record for what became The Blueprint 3‘s “A Star Is Born.”

Cole signed to Roc Nation in 2009, and he reflected on his feelings at the time while also getting an invite to the studio to work with one of his idols.

“We get to New York, me and my n—a, Ib. We walk in the studio,” he said in a clip captured by a fan. “I’m already nervous. I see this n—a Jay-Z and who the f–k was right next to him? Beyoncé, oh my God. My motherf—ing heart damn near fell out my chest.”

Cole continued: “Damn, I’m already feeling pressure and this n—a wants me on a song,” he added. “He got f–king Beyoncé right next to him. OK, no problem. I’m built for this. He start playing his album Blueprint 3 and the s–t sounds amazing.”

The North Carolina native went on to give fans the play-by-play of his nerves while getting ready to record his verse on the spot.

“I’m like, ‘Oh my god, this n—a playing me music.’ I know my part is coming up,” he added. “I’m training for this s–t though, I know I’m ready. This was a big moment for [North] Carolina, a big moment for The ‘Ville.”

And the rest, as they say, is history. “A Star Is Born” served as a torch-passing of sorts at Roc Nation with Cole landing the ultimate co-sign. The No I.D. and Ye-produced track ended up being touted as the final single on The Blueprint 3. “A Star Is Born” peaked at No. 91 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Sixteen years later, Cole is still rocking stages, as he headlined his Dreamville Festival on Sunday (April 6) in North Carolina. His memorable set included bringing out Erykah Badu and he even showed love to Kanye West.
