Jason Whitlock doesn’t deserve a bit of our attention but we can’t stand by and ignore his latest head-scratching statement in the name of free thought. The sportscaster and political commentator called into question the various protests cropping up in the wake of a video going wide showing the murder of Tyre Nichols at the hands of five Black Memphis police officers.
Jason Whitlock, 55, tweeted out a question Friday night (Jan. 27) regarding the reaction to the footage of the five officers beating Nichols after a traffic stop, who later succumbed to his injuries on Jan 10. The city of Memphis continually urged its residents and outside observers to show restraint once the footage of the encounter went wide.
While the Memphis Police Department promptly fired and changed the five officers, most took note of the fact that action was swift when it came to these officers which stand in contrast to actions handed down to their white counterparts involved in similar incidents nationwide.
That fact was seemingly lost on Whitlock, and his tweet displayed his seemingly feigned curiosity as to why people are angered.
“Five police officers in Memphis appear to have committed a violent homicide. They’ve been fired and charged with second-degree murder. What is the protest about? What hasn’t happened?” Whitlock tweeted.
Shortly after that tweet, Whitlock shared a promo for his Blaze TV show, Fearless, which was centered around respecting law enforcement officers and the like. It was a clear shot at the encounter Nichols had with the elite SCORPION police unit in Memphis just mere yards from his home.
One of the most outlandish comments to come from Whitlock came from his appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show discussing the video and the passing of Nichols. While Whitlock was clear in calling the acts of the officers a crime, something he’s never done so swiftly in the past it seems, there was one point of contention that journalist Gretchen Carlson noted in a tweet.

Whitlock quote-tweeted with a response, writing, “What was crazy about my comment, Gretchen? What are the benefits of communities/neighborhoods run by matriarchal, baby-mama culture? You planning to relocate your intact nuclear family into one?”
There is no changing the sturdy, ham-fisted mind of Jason Whitlock and we’ll spare readers more of his asinine commentary. However, what we will share is how Twitter is cooking him and his ashy sew-in alive. Keep scrolling.

Chef Way, the TikTok chef who came under fire for his past tweets targeting Black women, also worked as a Texas prosecutor. In the wake of the massive controversy surrounding his social media presence, Chef Way resigned from the job after apologizing for his past actions.
Chef Way, real name Waymond Wesley, found fame on TikTok by way of his cooking prowess and seemingly positive attitude. However, some observers noted that in a former life, Wesley was known as @WaymoTheGod on Twitter back in 2015 and he often engaged in measured attacks on Black women, especially those of darker hues. In some instances, the tweets were relentless and shamelessly vicious and the harm caused lived with those who had the misfortune of witnessing the acts.
Fast forward to now, Wesley emerged as a chef and quickly amassed brand deals and a large following. However, the past tweets found their way into the spotlight with Wesley scrambling earnestly to apologize and move on beyond the fracas. A half-baked apology ensued and it then came out that Wesley earned a role at the Harris County District Attorney’s office in Texas. Harris County officials were swiftly made aware of Wesley’s old tweets and were willing to extend a second chance to him.
The weight of the issue proved to be too much to overcome and Chef Way issued a lengthy post to Instagram expressing remorse for his actions.

From IG:
Seven years ago, in my early twenties, from a place of pain fueled by alcoholism, I would lash out at people on Twitter to seek attention, including Black women. I deeply regret and am sorry for my tweets. To be fully transparent, at the time, I was severely addicted to alcohol, underweight, sleep deprived, and in and out of rehab and sober living facilities. By God’s grace, I’ve been sober for more than 6 years now. In total, I spent around 19 months in inpatient and residential facilities to treat my alcoholism. Alcoholism is a disease. It nearly killed me. I am not the man I was [in] 2015.
The apology builds upon an earlier apology that Wesley posted on January 9 when all of the older tweets came to light. Wesley says that he hopes to redeem himself through acts of service and faith but the comments on Instagram are especially unforgiving.
We’ve gathered some reactions from Twitter below.

Yung Miami and her new REVOLT talk show, is all the rage once again due to the host of the program telling it exactly how it is. During the show’s latest episode, the Miami, Fla. rapper admitted to enjoying golden showers, which got the trending topic “Pee Diddy” going wild on Twitter.
Yung Miami sat down with veteran rapper Trina and the pair got into a raunchy sex discussion during the so-called “Resha Roulette” Q&A game. The game involves players taking a card and share the whatever the details out loud. If the details match the actions of the person, they have to take a shot. In this case, Yung Miami shared that the card said she had to take a shot if she enjoyed golden showers.
“It says take a shot if you like golden showers. I Do,” YM shared in between laughs. Trina, taken aback by the admittance, asked, “Meaning when the guy pees on you. Pee on you everywhere, you like it?”
“I just like it. I don’t know, it just do something to me,” YM fired back as she got ready to down a shot.
As it stands, folks on Twitter are immediately connecting the dots that YM’s frequent romantic partner, Sean “Diddy” Combs, is the shower delivery man. Of course, this sparked the aforementioned “Pee Diddy” moniker and a lot of rampant kink shaming. As the saying goes, don’t yuck my yum. Yung Miami and Diddy are adults and what they do in the bedroom is fine for them as long as everything is consensual. We’re pretty sure some of the folks with something negative to say have a few skeletons in their too-small closet.
Check out some of the reactions of Yung Miami admitting she likes a little man rain every now and then below. Also, we’ve included the episode.

Antonio Brown might not ever lace up the cleats again to take to the gridiron, but it appears he’s finding new ways to go deep if you’re catching our drift. A clip of the NFL player allegedly delivering the hammer to the mother of his children made it to the Internet streets and folks have plenty of questions.
Antonio Brown, 34, found his name trending on Twitter Wednesday morning (Jan. 18) after a SnapChat video of him and the mother of his children allegedly doing the deed. While we haven’t seen the video in full, plenty of screencaps of the clip have been shared over and over via Twitter with folks making the requisite jokes.
Some users are even saying that this is nothing more than a promo ad for Brown’s foray into adult content but it isn’t known how the video made its way to the public. And because some people have little decorum and are parched by nature, a few folks are saluting Brown’s “little soldier” and say he might have a career in the skin game ahead of him.
We’re not sure if Donda Sports is still a thing or if Brown is still the president of the sports agency founded by Ye FKA Kanye West, considering all that’s happened recently with the Chicago superstar.
A quick scan of Brown’s Twitter feed doesn’t directly address the sex tape footage but does display some of the Miami, Fla. native’s brash and outsized personality. In a series of tweets on Tuesday (Jan. 17), Brown cryptically wrote, “Somewhere between psy·chot·ic and i·con·ic” and “Don’t play wit me Play Football” among other musings.
To check out the reaction to Antonio Brown and his Snapchat sexcapades, keep scrolling.
UPDATE:
As reported by TMZ, Antonio Brown’s Snapchat account was suspended after being reported by the woman in question in the video, Chelsie Kyriss, who is the mother of Brown’s children. She also shared a statement on social media condemning the actions of her ex and says that the video was a private moment from their since-ended relationship.
