Drake loves sports, especially his good friend, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. So it should come as no surprise that the Canadian Hip-Hop star is searching for a rare Bron Bron collectible.

Drizzy’s search for an extremely rare LeBron James “Triple Logoman” card takes center stage in the first episode of the new Netflix series King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch.

Related Stories

In the “Hail the King” episode, the “God’s Plan” crafter links up with Goldin Auctions founder Ken Goldin. The show highlights Goldin’s search for rare collectibles and the insane prices they fetch. The card Drake wants so badly features James and every team he has won an NBA championship with. What makes this card so unique is that only one exists.
Drake hopes for a win when he opens a box of sealed cards, which sees him land an Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway Logoman card reportedly worth $50,000, plus Larry Bird and Isaiah Thomas cards. Drake also pulls out a very rare Michael Jordan card he can add to his collection.
Sadly he doesn’t find the card he is looking for in the episode, but that doesn’t mean his search will end there.
Drake Loves Betting On Sports
As of late, Drake has become a gambling man, constantly showing off his betting tickets for big fights, NBA games, and other huge sporting events.
His propensity to bet on specific teams has also become sort of a bad omen leading some to believe that if Drake’s some serious change on you, more than likely, you’re going to lose, dubbing it the Drake Curse.
The 6 God lost $2 million after betting on Israel Adesanya to beat Alex Pereira at UFC 281 in November 2022. The exact opposite happened, and Drake got the blame for Adesanya’s defeat.
Adesanya did get his revenge on his rival, finally getting himself a win against Pereira at UFC 287.
You can watch a trailer for King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch, where it also seems we will see Logan Paul opening boxes of Pokemon cards, yup, the same Logan Paul who paid $3.5 million in fake Pokemon cards.

As spotted on Variety Magazine the South Bronx, New York talent is set to premiere For Khadija, a film detailing his life story, this summer at the Tribeca Film Festival. To hear the Coke Boy tell it, he has been working on this since 2017. The press releases bills the project as a narrative that will follow “the unlikely rise of Moroccan-born, multi-platinum recording artist French Montana, as his single mother she sacrifices everything to raise her three young sons in the Bronx, after being abandoned by their father and left destitute”.

It is also set to explore how his hopes to make it in the United States directly correlated to his Rap career. “The film spans the globe as it depicts the family’s unique immigrant journey, a son’s perseverance in the face of insurmountable obstacles, and a mother’s unwavering faith — all in pursuit of the American dream.” Along with having Drake and Diddy as executive producers the project was directed by Mandon Lovett of RapCaviar Presents fame. One thing Gen Z is gonna do…is tell more than they should. LSA women’s basketball star Angel Reese is sharing who slid in her social media DM’s after her historic NCAA Championship win earlier this month.

Reese and teammate Flau’jae Johnson stopped by the Breakfast Club to talk about their win as well as other ways their lives have changed since the win.

Related Stories

According to Complex, Reese revealed that Drake and Future have slid into her DMs. “You said two that you need to stay far away from,” Charlamagne tha God joked.
The 20-year-old forward clarified that the multi-platinum rappers just offered congratulations. “They just congratulated me. It’s all congratulations,” she said with smile.
Still, the idea earned a few more jokes from The Breakfast Club hosts. “Then Drake gonna say, ‘Yo, you know I got a basketball court at the crib?’ Did he say that yet?” Envy asked. Reese and Johnson exchanged a knowing glance and broke out in laughter, while declining to answer the question.
Reese became a national sensation after leading her team to the NCAA championship beating Iowa. However, questions about her sportsmanship by mimicking the “You Can’t See Me,” dance led to vicious and racist attacks on social media. Rapper Tony Yayo, who first popularized the gesture, took to her defense.
“Any kind of sports, talking trash is a part of the game,” Yayo told TMZ Sports. “I mean, it was for the championship game. It’s competition. Even when I’m playing 2k — if you playin’ in the game, with video games, we get excited. You know?”
Yayo continued, “It’s just a dance. I don’t take nothin’ personal. It was a dance I created because I was trying to hide from the police. But shout out to all them people — John Cena, Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark — and definitely Flavor Flav. But Angel Reese? You know, she took the ‘U Can’t C Me’ dance to a whole ‘nother level.”
The gesture first popped up in the series when Iowa’s Caitlin Clark used it against players from South Carolina. She was praised as “passionate.”
Reese, also known as Bayou Barbie,  is one of the NCAA’s highest-grossing NIL players with a value of over $1.5 million.
She also talked about getting praise from fellow LSU baller, Shaquille O’Neal saying that his support sometimes put “pressure” on her, an idea that the NBA legend brushed off.
On his podcast, O’Neal said of Reese:”She’s probably the greatest athlete to ever come out of LSU sports. You heard it here first. Man and female,” O’Neal said on the latest episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq.”

“Because, guess what? She delivered. She delivered that package. See, a lot of us got the package, and we still got the package in our truck. She delivered that package. So, you know, there’s a lot of names you could throw around — men and women — but she’s probably the greatest athlete.
“Some people are going to exclude it to women athletes. I’m not doing that. She’s the greatest athlete to ever come out of LSU.

Drake decided to bless his followers with a late-night thirst trap and instead reminded many that he might have cheated when getting his abs.
Spotted on TMZ Hip Hop, Drake shook things up on Instagram when he dropped a photo of himself wearing nothing but a towel after taking “a 5 min cold plunge for the soul.”

Immediately the reactions to the photo began pouring in. Of course, there was some thirst, but mainly people side-eyeing the rapper’s alleged fake abs.
“Just saw a photo of Drake in a towel & while many women may find that sexy.. all I noticed is he got abs but no chest. I know transmen with more chest than that & they cut the boobs off…. hit the gym you Canadian freak,” one Twitter user hilariously wrote.
Another Twitter user wrote, “Drake doesn’t do it for me. The abs aren’t real. I don’t see-“

“Can y’all please stop spreading that picture of drake? His lipo and sculpted abs are scary,” another Twitter user said.
Damn, no one is here for Drake’s abs.
Drizzy is gearing up to head on tour with 21 Savage and looks to be in the best shape of his life. Until his first tour date arrives, you can entertain yourself with more reactions to this “thirst trap” in the gallery below.

2. Good question

3. Be great king.

Every Drake release brings its share of Billboard chart history, and his new single “Search & Rescue” is no different.
The track debuts at No. 2 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated April 22), extending his records for the most top 5s, top 10s, top 20s, top 40s and total entries in chart history.
As Drake makes more history, here’s a look at all the Hot 100 records the superstar has broken in his career, and those that he hasn’t (yet), all through the chart dated April 22, 2023.
It’s worth noting that, as streaming has become more prominent in recent years, some acts have been able to achieve impressive Hot 100 feats after releasing high-profile albums. The model contrasts with prior decades, when acts generally promoted one single at a time in the physical-only marketplace and on radio. That shift in consumption helps explain why artists have been able to increase their total number of career entries and top 10s over short spans in recent years.

Drake has 35 top five hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

Drake spent a record 431 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100 (2009 – 2017).

Most Simultaneous Top Five Hot 100 Hits

Drake had five top five Hot 100 hits on the Sept. 18, 2021-dated chart, matching The Beatles, who hit that record on April 4, 1964. Taylor Swift matched the record on Nov. 5, 2022.

Most Simultaneous Top 20 Hot 100 Hits

Drake had 15 simultaneous top 20 Hot 100 hits on the Nov. 19, 2022-dated chart.

Most Simultaneous Top 40 Hot 100 Hits

Drake had 21 simultaneous top 40 Hot 100 hits on the July 14, 2018 and Sept. 18, 2021-dated charts

Most Top 10 Hits in a Calendar Year

Drake earned 13 top 10 hits on the Hot 100 in 2018, 2021 and 2022.

Most Top 40 Hits in a Calendar Year

Drake earned 31 top 40 hits on the Hot 100 in 2022.

Most Cumulative Weeks Spent in the Top 10

Drake has spent 372 total weeks in the top 10 of the Hot 100 (combining the totals of all his 68 top 10s).

HASN’T BROKEN: Most No. 1 Hits

Drake has tallied 11 No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 in his career, the most among rappers. Among all artists, though, he’s tied with Whitney Houston for the seventh-most, after The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19), Rihanna (14), Michael Jackson (13), The Supremes and Madonna (12 each).

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Simultaneous Hot 100 Hits

Morgan Wallen holds the record for the most entries on the Hot 100 in a single week, with 36 on March 18, 2023 from his LP One Thing At A Time. Drake previously held the record, when he charted 27 songs on the July 14, 2018-dated chart.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Cumulative Weeks Spent at No. 1

Drake has spent a combined 54 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in his career. That’s the fourth-most, after Mariah Carey (87), Rihanna (60) and The Beatles (59).

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Consecutive Weeks Spent in the Top 10

Drake spent 51 consecutive weeks in the Hot 100’s top 10 in 2015-16, thanks to “Hotline Bling,” Rihanna’s Drake-featuring “Work,” “Summer Sixteen” and “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla. That’s the fourth-longest unbroken run in the top 10, after Katy Perry’s 69-week run in 2010-11, The Chainsmokers’ 61-weeks in 2016-17 and Justin Bieber’s 59 weeks in 2021-22.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Simultaneous Top 10 Hot 100 Hits

Drake logged a then-record nine entries in the top 10 on the chart dated Sept. 18, 2021. Swift surpassed that when she blanketed the entire top 10 on the chart dated Nov. 5, 2022.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Top 10 Hot 100 Hits From One Album

Drake scored nine top 10s from his 2021 album Certified Lover Boy, the record until Taylor Swift notched. 10 from Midnights on the chart dated Nov, 5, 2022.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Weeks Simultaneously Topping the Hot 100 & Billboard 200

Drake has doubled-up atop both charts simultaneously on eight different occasions in his career, the third-most of all time after The Beatles and Whitney Houston, who have doubled for 12 weeks apiece.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most No. 1 Hits in a Calendar Year

Drake biggest year, in terms of No. 1 Hot 100 singles, was 2018, where he scored three of his 11 No. 1 hits: “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What” and “In My Feelings.” The record for the most No. 1 hits earned in a calendar year belongs to The Beatles, who earned six in 1964: “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Love Me Do,” “A Hard Day’s Night” and “I Feel Fine.” (Though Drake’s vocals are used on Travis Scott’s 2018 No. 1 “Sicko Mode,” he is not officially credited on the track and it therefore does not count towards his chart history.)

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Top Five Hits in a Calendar Year

Drake tallied eight top five hits on the Hot 100 in 2021 alone, his personal best for any year: “What’s Next,” “Wants and Needs,” “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” “Champagne Poetry,” “Girls Want Girls,” “Fair Trade,” “Way 2 Sexy” and “Knife Talk.” The Beatles hold the all-time record for most top five hits in a calendar year, with 10 earned in 1964: “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You,” “Please Please Me,” “Twist and Shout,” “Do You Want To Know a Secret,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Love Me Do,” “A Hard Day’s Night,” “I Feel Fine” and “She’s a Woman.”

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Overall Entries in a Calendar Year

Drake earned 41 total entries on the Hot 100 in 2022, a new personal best in a single year. The overall record for most entries earned in a calendar year is 80, achieved by the Glee Cast in 2010.

HASN’T BROKEN: Song With the Most Weeks Spent at No. 1

Drake’s longest running No. 1 hit is “God’s Plan”: 11 weeks in 2018. Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, holds the all-time longevity record, with 19 weeks spent at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2019.

HASN’T BROKEN: Song With the Most Weeks Spent in the Top Five

Drake’s longest running top five Hot 100 hit is “God’s Plan” (22 weeks). The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” holds the record for the most weeks spent in the region, with 43 weeks.

Drake and Future have previously teamed up to make some hit records in the past, but can the duo use their talents to make a hit TV series? We’re about to find out.

A few days ago, we got our first trailer for Hulu’s new whodunit series, Saint X, for which both Drake and Future serve as executive producers. Starring Alycia Debnam-Carey, the Saint X centers around Carey’s pursuit of the truth of who murdered her sister when they took a family vacation to the Caribbean when she was a child. Now that she’s a grown woman, Carey decides to take it upon herself to look into her big sister’s disappearance, her subsequent death and why it was ruled an “accident” by authorities on the island.

Related Stories

Naturally many will assume that the island natives working the resort were the ones who committed the crime even though said big sister was being romanticized by a white dude who gave off Mark Wahlberg in Fear vibes. Was it a cover-up? Was it an accident? Who knows what, and why are they hiding the truth? Our money’s on wannabe Wahlberg.
Though Drake and Future are executive producers we don’t know if either of the two will be making any cameos in the eight-part miniseries. With a tropical island setting, which they could use to shoot a music video at the same time, you’d think they would. But we’ll have to wait and see.
Check out the trailer to Saint X below, and let us know if you’ll be checking it out when it hits Hulu April 26.

Jim Jones is never short on opinions. In a new interview he claims that Drake should be considered the GOAT.

As spotted on Complex the Harlem, New York native recent chat with Rap Caviar podcast he discussed his new album with Hit Make Back In My Prime. While promoting his newest effort he also discussed a bevy of other topics including who he thinks is the greatest of all time. When Kev assumed his GOAT pick was Jay-Z CAPO was quick to correct him. “I can’t agree on that. … [Jay is] at the top of the barrel when it comes to what he’s done” he explained. “He’s a billionaire, he has done some sh*t for dope boys that people never even thought could be. He’s put himself in rooms that you couldn’t imagine.”

The Diplomats member when on to justify why he feels Drake is more impactful. “I haven’t heard too much Jay-Z music in the last six to seven years that was really hitting out here in these streets on the lit side of things,” he stated. “In the past 12 years everything that Drake has put out has hit like 2Pac was hitting. No matter if you like it. No matter if n****s don’t like it cause he’s light-skinned, no matter if n****s don’t like it cause he’s singing… No matter what n****s like, he always seems to be in these n****s’ playlists.”

Drake earned the reputation of being a calculated thinker in his music rollouts, and his latest single is causing a stir because of a famous voice that was sampled. In the new song “Search & Rescue,” Kim Kardashian’s voice is heard during the bridge of the track which has some on Twitter believing there is still some beef between Drake and Ye aka Kanye West.
Drake, fresh from rocking the Dreamville Festival stages in a standout performance packed with surprise guests, previously teased “Search & Rescue” on OVO Sound Radio which sparked a flurry of speculation among observers because of the Kardashian voice sample.
Now that the song is released in full, “Search & Rescue” is produced by Sad Pony and BYNX and sees Drizzy in a lovelorn state trying to make amends with a woman crooning sweet nothing such as “Take me off the map” and “I need someone to be patient with me” along with similar missives spread throughout.
Causing further discussion is the single’s cover art, which features Drake and a woman who curiously looks like Kardashian in motorcycle helmets largely obscuring their faces.
As most things are with the Canadian superstar, this could be either an amazing coincidence or another sly attempt of him showcasing his petty powers to the maximum. It was thought that whatever beef existed between Ye and Drake was settled after the pair rocked the “Free Larry Hoover” concert together and that still could be true. Still, Twitter has other ideas and we’ve got reactions from all sides below.

Drake teased a portion of the song — which was then thought to be titled “Rescue Me” — during The Fry Yiy Show on his SiriusXM Radio station Sound 42 late last week. The track features audio of Kim Kardashian talking about her relationship with ex-husband Kanye West in the E! series finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2021. “I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy, remember that,” she says in the sample.

Drizzy teamed up with two producers for “Search & Rescue”: BNYX, who has worked with Coi Leray and Yeat on recent tracks, and Sadpony, who produced Drake’s “Jumbotron Sh– Poppin” collaboration with 21 Savage, which appeared on 2022’s Her Loss.

Listen to “Search & Rescue” below.
