Taylor Swift‘s endorsement of Kamala Harris is clearly rattling Donald Trump.
The former president lashed out at the pop superstar on his Truth Social account Sunday (Sept. 15) following her recent endorsement of the vice president in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Trump wrote in all caps.
The 78-year-old businessman-turned-politician’s post follows Swift’s message in support of the Harris-Walz campaign follow last week’s first televised debate between Trump and Harris on ABC News. The “Anti-Hero” singer’s lengthy note to her 238 million Instagram followers didn’t directly attack the ex-POTUS but focused rather on encouraging her fans to research the issues and register to vote.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift wrote alongside a photo with her cat Benjamin Button. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

The pop star’s endorsement of Harris-Walz also called out Trump posting fake AI images that had falsely suggested she supported the MAGA leader.
“It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation,” she said about the doctored images Trump put up on his Truth Social feed. “It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
Swift signed her Instagram post as “Childless Cat Lady,” a zinger aimed at Trump’s VP candidate JD Vance, who once used that description to demean Democratic leaders without children.
Following Trump’s disdainful Truth Social post on Sunday, Swifties came out of the woodwork on social media to show support for the superstar, including one of her biggest fans, Flavor Flav (aka “King Swiftie”). “I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT,!!” the Public Enemy story wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Other Swifties took the opportunity to share memes and GIFs teasing the Republican presidential nominee about his post, including a clip of Swift raising a wine glass on The Graham Norton Show in 2022. “Taylor Swift seeing Trump’s post like ‘my work here is done,’” the post’s caption on X reads. Another fan shared a scene from the Mean Girls remake, writing, “Trump posting ‘I hate Taylor swift’ after his internal polling numbers dropped.”
Indeed, Swift’s endorsement post of the Democratic candidates brought around 400,000 people to the Vote.gov registration website in the following days. The singer could also continue efforts to get out the vote to hundreds of thousands of fans during her upcoming U.S. leg of The Eras Tour, which launches again on Oct.18 with three back-to-back shows at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. From there she’ll visit New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome (Oct. 25-27) and Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium (Nov. 1-3). Swift’s worldwide Eras Tour in on track to becoming the highest-grossing global tour in history, with approximately 10 million tickets sold.
Donald Trump isn’t holding back his feelings about Taylor Swift.
On Sunday (Sept. 15), the former president lashed out against the pop superstar on social media, just days after she officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Trump wrote in all caps on Truth Social.
Following last week’s first presidential debate between Trump and Harris on ABC News, Swift shared her endorsement for the VP with her 238 million Instagram followers (her account had reached 284 million as of Sept. 15).

The “Anti-Hero” singer also expressed her admiration for Harris, calling the VP a “steady-handed, gifted leader” and a “warrior” for causes she holds dear, such as LGBTQ+ rights and women’s reproductive freedoms.
Swift’s endorsement of the Democratic candidates also called out Trump posting fake AI images that had falsely suggested she supported the MAGA leader.
“It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation,” Swift said about the doctored images Trump put up on his Truth Social feed. “It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
The pop star signed her Instagram post as “Childless Cat Lady,” a zinger aimed at Trump’s VP candidate JD Vance, who once used that description to demean Democratic leaders without children.
Swift’s endorsement brought around 400,000 people to the Vote.gov registration website in the following days.
This isn’t the first time the singer-songwriter has spoken up for Democratic candidates. In 2018, she famously broke her silence around politics to endorse Phil Bredesen in his race against Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, saying Blackburn’s voting record “appals and terrifies me.” Swift also endorsed President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Donald Trump is heavy on the campaign trail after some observers believed his showing in the first presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris was less stellar than expected. However, a new issue is cropping up in the form of far-Right media figure Laura Loomer, a constant fixture by the former president’s side, so much so that some on Xitter believe the two are having a fling.
Donald Trump, 78, and Laura Loomer, 31, have been seen in several recent photos with one another, with Loomer shown exiting the former mogul’s airplane on a recent campaign stop. Some within the Republican Party, including those who have loudly supported Trump in the past, want him to distance himself from the controversial Loomer for various reasons.
Loomer and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene clashed online after Loomer made an offensive joke about Vice President Harris connected to her Indian and Jamaican heritage. Rep. Greene called out the social media attack, prompting Loomer to unload a barrage of insults in response.
Greene isn’t the only Trump stooge to call for him to reconsider aligning himself with Loomer. Sen. Lindsey Graham and Republican Party North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis have both had things to say about Loomer’s stances. This has only inflamed Loomer to fire back with insults at anyone she deems to be unloyal to Trump.
While he claims he has no control of Loomer’s words, Trump referred to her as a “free spirit” and says he’s unable to control her outbursts but there is a lingering thought on social media he doesn’t want to.
The aforementioned images of the pair have raised eyebrows and called into question if Trump, who has cheated on former First Lady Melania Trump before, is doing so again with Loomer. For the record, Loomer has denied all claims connected to the rumor.
On X, formerly Twitter, Donald Trump and Laura Loomer are at the center of discussion regarding their curious connection. We’ve got those replies below.

Nicky Jam is officially endorsing Donald Trump in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
On Friday (Sept. 13), the former president held a campaign rally at the World Market Center in downtown Las Vegas, where the 43-year-old reggaetón veteran took the stage to show his support for Trump as he faces off against Vice President Kamala Harris in the November election.
In an embarrassing faux pas, however, the ex-POTUS mistakenly referred to Nicky as a “she” when introducing him to the crowd for his endorsement speech.
“Do you know Nicky? She’s hot. Where’s Nicky?” Trump said from the stage while looking off to the side for the “X” singer. A few moments later, the former president spotted the Latin star and quickly realized his mistake. “Oh, look, I’m glad he came up,” Trump said as he patted the musician’s shoulder.
Nicky, wearing a black sweatshirt and the Trump campaign’s signature red “Make America Great Again” baseball cap, then took the stage to deliver a brief statement.
Trending on Billboard
“It’s an honor to meet you, Mr. President. People that come from where I come from, they don’t meet the president. So I’m lucky,” said Nicky, who moved from Massachusetts to Puerto Rico at a young age. “We need you. We need you back, right? We need you to be the president.”
Nicky Jam is one of many music stars who have endorsed the 78-year-old businessman-turned-politician in his 2024 re-election bid. In late August, Puerto Rican reggaetón stars Anuel AA and Justin Quiles took the stage to support Trump at a rally in Johnstown, Penn. Other artists who support the former president include Jason Aldean, Kid Rock, Kodak Black, Lil Pump, Sexyy Red and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Nicky, who announced last October that he’ll be “retiring soon,” recently opened up about the decision in an interview with Billboard.
“I’m not going to be a singer for the rest of my life,” he said over Zoom from his Miami home. “I think I’ll probably retire soon… Well, not retire. Singers never retire. You just tone it down.”
Nicky dropped his sixth studio album, Insomnio, on Sept. 6.

Donald Trump debated Vice President Kamala Harris last night (September 10) on ABC News, and is now speaking up regarding his showing and outside critique of the debate. In an appearance on a Fox News morning show, Donald Trump blasted two anchors from the network, stating he would not want them modering a potential second debate.
Donald Trump phoned into the Fox & Friends morning show on Wednesday (September 11), accusing moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis of heavily fact-checking his statements and not doing the same for his opponent.
Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy asked the former president if he would consider holding another debate after Fox News offered the opportunity for an undetermined October date. Trump used this moment to attack Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, based on their criticism of his debate showing against Vice President Harris.
“Well, I wouldn’t want to have Martha and Bret,” Trump said. “I’d love to have somebody else other than Martha and Bret. I’d love to have, frankly, Sean [Hannity] or Jesse [Watters] or Laura [Ingraham]. You know, somebody else. Let’s give let’s give other people a shot.”
Trump continued, “But I didn’t think Martha and Bret were so good last night. Yes, he was. Jesse was fantastic last night. What he said, Jesse. Really got it. Jesse said to Trump once that debate that was we won that debate by a lot. And I wouldn’t want Martha involved.”
When asked if he would accept the October debate offer from Fox News, Trump appeared to sidestep the offer and claimed victory on the debate stage over Harris.
“Well, I’d be less inclined to because we had a great night. We won the debate. We had a terrible, terrible network. I think they were terrible. They should be embarrassed,” Trump said of ABC News. “I mean, they kept correcting me and I said what I said was largely right or I hope it was right. But what they said was absolutely wrong.”
Vice President Harris has said she welcomes a second debate with Donald Trump.
Live on Fox, Trump insults the two Fox anchors who have been pitched as debate moderators – Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum – and says “I wouldn’t want to have” them. He says he would want Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters or Laura Ingraham to host instead. (An obvious non-starter.) pic.twitter.com/uXVJtnYn8L

Following Taylor Swift’s swift endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, Brittany Mahomes caught all of the strays.
Taylor Swift is letting the world and her millions of followers know that she wants to be on the right side of history and do her part to help get Kamala Harris to become the 48th President of the United States.
Swift made her very loud announcement after VP Harris was finished clowning the orange menace on the debate stage, writing in her post on Instagram:
I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.
Swift’s endorsement of the Harris/Walz ticket comes after she faced “backlash” for fraternizing with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who outed herself as a Trump supporter.
Social Media Is Roasting Brittany Mahomes
Following Swift’s endorsement, Mahomes immediately became the subject of conversations on X, formerly Twitter, with users clowning her.
It also doesn’t help that Donald Trump expressed his admiration for Mahomes, telling Fox & Friends Wednesday morning, “I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better if you want to know the truth,” Trump said. “She’s a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor Swift fan,” when asked about Swift endorsing VP Harris.

Donald Trump went full racist old man in his debate with VP Kamala Harris last night (September 10). One particular moment that will live in infamy is when he tapped into a debunked lie that Haitian immigrants are eating pets in Springfield, Ohio.
Seriously.
It started when Harris successfully baited Cheeto by clowning the dwindling crowd sizes of his rallies. While noting his use of movie characters (“You will see during the course of Trump‘s rallies, he talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He will talk about how windmills cause cancer,” she said), she then lit him up with, “What you will also notice is that people start leaving his rallies early,” and that’s when his brain went on the fritz, allegedly.
To this (as the moderators tried to move on), Trump responded that no one attends her rallies (which is a lie) and then when he finally proceeded to “answer” the question that was posed about immigration, things got…weird. The former president invoked an already debunked, egregiously racist hoax that Haitian immigrants are eating pet dogs in Springfield, which was amplified by JD Vance.
“In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs!” yelled Trump. “The people that come in, they’re eating the cats. They’re eating the pets of the people that live there. And this is what’s happening in our country, and it’s a shame.”
The moderators let him finish, and then fact-checked him—and it inadvertently was hilarious. Co-moderator David Muir said ABC News contacted the city manager of Springfield, who said there were “no credible reports of specific claims of pets being harmed injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.” To this, Trump interjected that he “seen people on television.”
Oh well, if he saw it on TV…—that was sarcasm. Muir then closed the deal saying, “I’m not taking this from television, I’m taking it from the city manager.”

In a jab to OP vice-presidential candidate JD Vance, the “Cruel Summer” singer signed off with, “With love and hope, Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady.”

The post exploded, racking up 1 million “likes” in just 13 minutes, with Swift’s celebrity friends and fans jumping in to show support.
Among the first to engage was Charli XCX, a known Harris supporter, who famously tweeted earlier this year, “Kamala IS brat,” sparking one of Harris’ viral campaign moments. Speaking of the moment, the Brit previously said she’s “happy to help to prevent democracy from failing forever.”
Other notable figures quickly followed suit. Selena Gomez liked the post on Instagram, as did Jennifer Aniston, Lady Gaga, Andy Cohen, Mandy Moore, Jack Antonoff, DJ Zedd and Australian singer Gretta Ray.
Bette Midler, however, kept it simple, tweeting, “#TAYLORSWIFT endorses #KamalaHarris4President!!”
In what was among the more unsettling reactions, Elon Musk jumped into the conversation with a bizarre tweet: “Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

Meanwhile, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell offered high praise for Swift’s move, calling it “the most important celebrity endorsement I’ve ever seen,” adding, “For someone who’s never been impressed by celebrity endorsements, this is perfect and powerful.”
While the multi-award-winning artist’s post has generated widespread support, not all reactions were enthusiastic. When asked about the endorsement, former President Donald Trump simply responded, “I have no idea.”
During the Sept. 10 debate against Kamala Harris, Donald Trump stunned viewers with the baseless claim that Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, were “eating the dogs and cats” of local residents, referencing a viral Facebook post that circulated in the area.

Debate moderator David Muir swiftly debunked the claim, saying that the city manager of Springfield, Ohio, said there were “no credible reports of specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.”
Trump replied, “People on television say my dog was taken and used as food.” Muir reiterated, “Again the Springfield city manager says there’s no evidence of that.”
Understandably, the wild allegation quickly became the most talked-about moment of the night.
Flavor Flav wasted no time jumping into the conversation, quipping on X: “Pet Shop Boys better stay inside and lock the doors. You too, Snoop Dogg. And Pitbull.”
Other celebrities reacted with disbelief. Bette Midler called out the claim directly, tweeting, “Now he’s spreading that lie about eating cats,” while noting debate moderator David Muir had disproven Trump’s statement.

Trump’s vice-presidential running mate J.D. Vance, who shared the viral post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Sept. 9, later doubled down on the pet-eating story in the post-debate spin room.
“We just heard a 911 call from a citizen in Springfield earlier today that some of the immigrants were capturing geese at the local pond, slaughtering them and killing them,” Vance told reporters. When pressed about the claim that migrants were eating pets, he responded, “I don’t know what are the full spate of animals being consumed there, but I know the geese are certainly among them.”
In a statement, Springfield police further clarified, “There have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured, or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.”
Reuters also fact-checked the claim, confirming there was no evidence to support widespread incidents of pet theft or harm by Haitian migrants.
The outlandish claim about pet-eating dominated social media, with many left shocked by the absurdity of the situation. Check out some of the best reactions below.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump faced one another for their first presidential debate, and Hip-Hop Wired viewed the entire debate, capturing reactions from X, formerly Twitter.
On Tuesday (September 10), Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump met for their debate on ABC News. Trump seemed hesitant from the start, pausing in surprise as Vice President Harris strode over to greet him and introduce herself.
ABC News moderator David Muir opened the debate by asking Vice President Harris about the state of the economy and what she intends to create what she referred to as an “opportunity economy.”
“I believe in the ambition, the aspiration, the dreams of the American people,” Harris said. Trump retorted, reiterating his policy stance on employing tariffs against other countries, namely China.
Harris sagely stated that President Joe Biden’s administration had to “clean up Donald Trump’s mess”, taking digs at the business mogul over his assumed orchestration of the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol attack and his response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abortion proved to be one of the more intense exchanges of the debates as Harris championed more progressive policies as Trump again equivocated.
Her poise and strategy of prodding Trump into baffling rambles provided one of the more incredulous moments of the night after she spoke about his rallies. “You will see during the course of his rallies, he talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter, he will talk about windmills cause cancer,” Harris began, “and what you will also notice is that people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom. And I will tell you the one thing you will not hear him talk about is you. You will not hear him talk about your needs, your dreams, and your desires.”
Trump angrily replied that his rallies were “the best, then repeated a false claim from his campaign about Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio: “In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs. The people that came in, they’re eating the cats. They’re eating — they’re eating the pets of the people that live there,” he yelled. He was swiftly fact-checked by Muir.
With the looming specter of Project 2025 hanging over this upcoming election, Trump distanced himself from the plan after Harris’ initial answers tying him to it, claiming he hadn’t even seen the controversial document.
“I have nothing to do with Project 2025,” Trump said. “That’s out there. I haven’t read it. I don’t want to read it, purposely. I’m not going to read it.”
Abortion is one of the touchier subjects of the race and one that Trump and his running mate JD Vance have faltered on regarding their messaging. ABC News moderator Linsey Davis’ question led to one of the more intense serve-and-volley moments of the debates with Harris leaning into the more progressive side of the debate while Trump seemed to display once more his changing stances on reproductive rights.
Seizing on conservative voters’ concerns that Harris would change the fabric of the country, Trump referred to the Vice President as a “Marxist” in a key moment in the debate. “If she ever got elected, she’d change it. And it will be the end of our country. She’s a Marxist everybody knows she’s a Marxist. Her father is a Marxist professor in economics, and he taught her well,” Trump quipped, referencing her father Donald J. Harris.
Muir also asked Trump about his repeated attacks on Harris’ racial identity. “I don’t care what she is,” he said before again saying that “I read where she was not Black”. Harris responded that it was a “tragedy” and a “disgrace” that he wouldresort to that, bringing up his calling for the death of the Exonerated Central Park Five as an example of his past bigotry.
The debate questions would move to foreign policy, where Trump criticized President Biden for his support of Ukraine. “You’re not running against Joe Biden, you’re running against me,” Harris said, turning to face Trump. Trump would jab Harris and the Biden administration on the withdrawal from Afghanistan, but she would counter by hammering him on his love for authoritarians such as Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
Meme fans gathered plenty of fodder due to the expressions of incredulity from Harris, especially as Trump would get combative with Muir after several questions. While the microphones were muted, crosstalk could still be heard. The feature proved to be effective for Harris, allowing her to respond vividly through her facial expressions which could be criticized by certain pundits and outlets. There was also praise for Muir and Davis as moderators, who strived to give each candidate time to respond while working hard to avoid being steamrolled by Trump’s petulant moods after Harris’ answers.
Take a look at some of the best responses to the debate below.
