Taylor Swift Subtly Celebrates Patrick & Brittany Mahomes’ Baby Announcement

Taylor Swift is supporting the growing Kansas City Chiefs family.

On Monday (Jan. 13), the team’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany announced the arrival of their third child, a daughter named Golden Raye Mahomes who was born on Jan. 12. The duo posted a joint black-and-white photo on Instagram of the new bundle of joy’s tiny feet held by her parents’ hands.  Brittany and Patrick are also parents to three-year-old daughter Sterling Skye and two-year-old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III.

In support, Swift liked the post, a subtle congratulatory gesture.

The pop star and Brittany first hit it off last fall, when Swift joined Chiefs Kingdom through her relationship with Travis Kelce. The pair became fast friends while chatting at games and sharing a suite at Arrowhead Stadium, and the “Anti-Hero” singer included Brittany in a few squad hangout sessions in New York City during the season.

Both women were also in attendance at the 2024 Super Bowl, which Kansas City won for the second year in a row.

In October, Brittany shared a game-day snap in which the duo re-created one of their favorite poses from last season. In the snap, the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer sips her drink while resting a hand on the former college soccer player’s baby bump, as Mahomes smiles into the camera with Lyndsay Bell standing on her other side.

The picture is a callback to one the three pals snapped in early 2024, in which they were standing in the same position but with Lyndsay — who is married to tight end Blake Bell and was pregnant at the time — standing in the middle instead of Brittany.

Patrick Mahomes’ Mom Shows MAGA Colors With Viral Video

The mother of NFL superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes displayed her support for Donald Trump in a viral video.

On Monday night (November 4), the National Football League’s current Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, made it plain that she’s voting for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump by wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat matching her Chiefs sweater with gold lettering against a red background. “Make America great again. Let’s do it!,” she says to the camera, adding a cheer and a little dance at the end.

The video was shot in a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs’ home field presumably as fans were filing into the stadium. Conservative media outlet Outkick and pundit Clay Travis shared the video with their followers in a post on X, formerly Twitter, noting the timing of it on the eve of the final day of the presidential election. The video was more striking as pop superstar Taylor Swift, who has publicly endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, was present at the game to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

14-time Grammy Award winner Swift was a source of heavy conversation after the endorsement as Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, has shared her support for Donald Trump in the past by liking social media posts from the former president. After receiving criticism online, she posted an Instagram Story in August blasting those commenters. saying: “I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.” Trump would later express his thanks in a Truth Social post. “I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me,” he wrote.

As for Patrick Mahomes, he has shied away from sharing who he supports in the presidential election, declining to publicly endorse a candidate during a press conference at the beginning of the current NFL season. He did, however, ask his fans and others to “do their own research, and then make the best decision for them and their family.”

Boy, I tell ya’ Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Kamala Harris after the vice president dog-walked unhinged pet protector Donald Trump during the presidential debate Tuesday night, and the MAGA world had been in shambles ever since.

Trump tried to clap back at Swift’s endorsement during a Fox News call where he mentioned, “I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better” than Swift, referring to NFL great Patrick Mahomes‘ wife, who is apparently a Trump supporter.

This prompted a reporter to ask Mahomes whether he too would like to offer a public endorsement of Trump, to which he essentially replied: “Nah — cancel that noise. You should go vote though.”

“I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way,” Mahomes said during the Wednesday press conference. “I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote. It’s to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”

“You’ve seen my history,” he continued. “I’ve come up with people from every aspect of life, from every background, and the best thing about football locker rooms and kind of how I’ve grown up in baseball locker rooms is people can come together and achieve something and achieve a common goal. We talked about it a while back. If we can do that as a nation, we can get the best out of each other, so that’s something I do every single day.”

So, basically, Mahomes decided to Kumbaya his way out of explicitly declaring his support for Trump or Harris. After all, we saw what happened when WNBA phenom Caitlin Clark “liked” Swift’s post endorsing Harris and MAGA minions across the white-suprema-net told her to shut up and dribble.

In fact, Clark responded to the backlash pretty much the same way Mahomes responded to the inquiry about who he endorses: by declining to explicitly endorse either candidate and, instead, telling people to go out and vote.

“I think for myself, I have my amazing platform, so I think the biggest thing will be just encourage people to register to vote,” she said. “It’s the second time I can vote in a election; at 22, I could vote when I was 18. I can do that, that’s the biggest thing I can do with the platform that I have. And that’s the same thing Taylor did. And I think continue to educate yourself with the candidates that we have, the policies that they’re supporting. I think that’s the biggest thing you can do, and that’s what I would recommend to every single person that has that opportunity in our country.”

Yeah, the athletes are out here either dodging MAGA bullets and anti-MAGA bullets alike.

Must be exhausting. Couldn’t be me.

Man, F**k Trump. Harris 2024!

Patrick Mahomes Says Taylor Swift Has Been ‘Drawing Up Plays’ for the Kansas City Chiefs

They don’t call her mastermind for nothing. When she isn’t crafting songs, albums and concert setlists, Taylor Swift apparently draws up plays, as revealed by Patrick Mahomes in a new interview.

While speaking to Chris Simms for NFL on NBC in a video posted Thursday (Aug. 29), the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback gushed about the pop star’s involvement in the sport ever since she started dating tight end Travis Kelce. “She’s really interested in football, she asks a lot of great questions,” Mahomes said. “She’s already drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in.”

“Meeting Taylor, realizing how genuine and cool she is … that’s been special to me, because like you said, [she’s] the most famous person in the world,” added the athlete, who shares daughter Sterling, son Bronze and a new baby on the way with wife Brittany Mahomes. “I think it’s been cool to see the girls and the women that have really embraced watching football. I know being a girl dad, how cool it is for me … to see these little girls, these daughters and how much they’re loving spending time with their dad watching football.”

The interview comes just a few days ahead of the beginning of the 2024-25 NFL season, which kicks off Sept. 5 with a Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens game. Fans will surely be tuning in to see whether Swift is present at Arrowhead Stadium to support Kelce on the big day, with the 14-time Grammy winner currently on an Eras Tour break following the conclusion of its European leg on Aug. 20.

Mahomes and Kelce also recently sat for a pre-season panel with teammates Harrison Butker, Nick Bolton and Justin Reid, during which the topic of Swift briefly came up again. At one point, the tight end told the event’s host, play-by-play announcer Mitch Holthus, “We love you.” Holthus then asked Kelce if he loves him “more than Taylor,” prompting the Ohio native to respond: “Maybe not.”

Patrick Mahomes Praises Taylor Swift, Says She Studies Football As If She’s ‘Trying to Become a Coach’

If Coach Andy Reid ever steps away from the Kansas City Chiefs, maybe Taylor Swift could be next in line. The pop star is already close with many of the team’s players thanks to her romance with tight end Travis Kelce, and in a new interview, quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed that she’s been studying up on the sport.

“I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life,” the three-time Super Bowl champion told Time in his Tuesday (April 16) cover story. “Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long.”

“She’s never not working,” he continued. “Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks. Even when she’s talking about , when she’s learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together.”

Mind you, Swift wasn’t even interested in the NFL before she and Kelce became an item, as the offensive lineman revealed on a recent episode of his New Heights podcast. But now?

“It’s almost like she’s trying to become a coach,” added Mahomes. “‘Why can’t you try this, this, and this?’ She’s asking the right questions.”

Swift has been a key part of Chiefs Kingdom since last fall, when she first started attending games at Arrowhead Stadium to support Kelce. Between then and the 2024 Super Bowl — where she was on hand to help celebrate after Kansas City scored its second victory in a row — the 14-time Grammy winner has made friends with players such as Mecole Hardman, as well as Brittany Mahomes, who is married to the team’s star quarterback.

The superstar’s presence quantifiably gave the Chiefs a major boost in exposure, which some critics speculated was becoming too distracting when the team went through a rough patch mid-season, but Patrick told Time that his team paid it no mind. “[The Chiefs] went from a nationwide team that was kind of global to a full global worldwide team,” he said. “That came from Taylor’s fanbase.”

“We just embraced it,” he continued. “We like having that visibility. At the end of the day, football has always been this bruising sport. We want to make it fun, where kids grow up and play football and show their personality and be who they are. This year really magnified that.”

Travis Kelce Belts Out Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story’ While Partying With Patrick Mahomes in Las Vegas

Travis Kelce is living his best life in Las Vegas.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end spent part of his weekend partying in Sin City with his NFL teammates, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, after arriving in Vegas on Saturday (Feb. 24) following a short visit to Sydney, Australia, where he attended his girlfriend Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concert.

Kelce and his teammates hit up XS nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas, where the Super Bowl champ hung out in the DJ boot alongside chart-topping producer and songwriter Marshmello and was seen belting out classics like Queen’s “We Are the Champions,” Swift’s “Love Story” and Beastie Boys’ “Fight For Your Right.”

Earlier in the day, Kelce and Mahomes attended a brunch event at LAVO at the The Palazzo, according to People. The NFL stars were returning to Sin City following their Super Bowl win against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11.

Just before his Las Vegas trip, Kelce was supporting Swift on the first night of her Eras Tour stint in Sydney. The tight end was one of more than 80,000 people Friday (Feb. 23) at Sydney’s Accor Stadium, where he watched from a VIP tent as his superstar girlfriend commanded the stage. Fan videos captured him exchanging friendship bracelets, passing out guitar picks, interacting with the crowd and dancing along to Swift’s three-hour show alongside Katy Perry, Rita Ora and Baz Luhrmann, who were also guests of honor that night.

Toward the end of her concert, Kelce got a special shout-out from the 14-time Grammy winner. While singing “Karma,” Swift once again changed a lyric to say, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs,” something she first did when the athlete attended her Buenos Aires show in November.

After the concert wrapped, Kelce waited in the wings for Swift to emerge from backstage, after which she wrapped him in a hug and the couple kissed as lingering fans cheered.

The New Heights podcaster has been with the “Cruel Summer” singer in Australia since Wednesday, when his plane touched down in the land down under. On Thursday, the couple visited the Sydney Zoo, where they were spotted holding hands and taking selfies.

Cameras spotted Kelce getting off a private jet the day before, marking the second time the three-time he has hopped on a plane to go see Swift on her globe-hopping Eras Tour. Swift is playing four dates at Sydney’s Accor Stadium through Monday (Feb. 26), with Sabrina Carpenter as the opener.

Patrick Mahomes’ Dad Gushes Over How ‘Down to Earth’ Taylor Swift Is

Taylor Swift is getting all the love from the Kansas City Chiefs family!

Patrick “Pat” Mahomes Sr., the father of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was asked during a recent interview with Starcade Media about Taylor Swift’s relationship with the team’s tight end Travis Kelce. “She’s down to earth,” Mahomes Sr. said.

“I actually walked up and introduced myself to her, and she said she knew who I was because she had watched the Quarterback series,” he continued, referring to the Netflix documentary about his son and two other NFL quarterbacks.

“Every time I’ve hung out with her, she just acts like a normal person,” Mahomes Sr. concluded.

Swift and Kelce’s real life “Love Story” began back in July, when the football player tried to give a friendship bracelet to Swift during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City. Since then, the singer has attended countless Chiefs football games and the duo have stepped out together on dates on multiple occasions.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift told TIME in December, marking her first public remarks of the relationship. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
