DJ Khaled is known for sharing major keys and wins on social media, but you have to give him credit. He’s not afraid to share an epic fail.
The “Wild Thoughts” creator revealed to his followers that he hurt himself in a video featuring himself getting a massage. In the caption for the post, the super producer wrote:”
“I tried playing today but I had cut the game short I injured my self surfing yesterday. So I thought I could play through the pain. So I’m get a massage and call dr make sure I’m great. But nothing going stop me from playing golf. I’ll be back on the course Tommorow hopefully the pain will go away. If not I’m okay through the pain till I defeat the pain! love is the only way!
LETS GO GOLFING.”
In a subsequent post, Khaled showed his fans epically wiping out on the surfboard before hitting the links and the massage table, writing in the caption for the post, “ALL CATEGORIES LETS GO 🏄♂️ ITS OK TO BE HAPPY !”
DJ Khaled Is Not Letting His Injury Keep Him Off The Golf Course
Despite revealing to us he is not the best when it comes to surfing, Khaled still made sure to enjoy himself before the arrival of his inaugural We The Best Foundation Golf Classic, sponsored by Jordan Brand. Proceeds from the golfing event went to We the Best Foundation’s efforts in education, the arts, and more.
“Just to be out on the golf course with close friends and family of mine is a blessing,” Khaled said in a statement. “Giving back makes it even better. I can’t wait to see you all at the first-ever We the Best Foundation Golf Classic.”
The inaugural golf tournament starts with a VIP reception on July 19 before the action heads to the green on July 20.

With the American outrage following the shocking and controversial merger between the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia’s LIV Golf Tour, DJ Khaled saw an open lane and has announced that he will be hosting a golf tournament later this month with the help of Jordan Brand.
Complex is reporting that the producer/motivational speaker announced that the We The Best Foundation Golf Classic will be going down next month in Miami, where DJ Khaled and his celebrity friends will be competing for charity. Arguably the most boring game in existence, golf has become the sport of choice for millionaires and high rollers. So y’all know some big names will be involved in DJ Khaled’s charity golf game later this month.
Complex reports:
“Just to be out on the golf course with close friends and family of mine is a blessing,” Khaled said in a press release. “Giving back makes it even better. I can’t wait to see you all at the first-ever We The Best Foundation Golf Classic. We’re starting something very special here while introducing the sport of golf to a wider community.”
If this were to be televised, it would be the one golf game that heads on the block would probably tune into depending on who was competing. Jay-Z? Kevin Hart? 21 Savage? DJ Khaled’s celebrity guest list is hella long, so you can only imagine who’ll be participating.
The We The Best Foundation Golf Classic will begin at 9:30 a.m. on July 20 and conclude around 2:30 p.m. depending on who gets busy and who struggles. We just hope Khaled doesn’t twerk should he end up in the winners circle when it’s all said and done. Just sayin’.
Check out Khaled announce the festivities below, and let us know if you’d tune into this joint if it was streamed or televised in the comments section below.

DJ Khaled is a man of many talents, but is twerking actually one of them?
We don’t know but apparently someone with a striking resemblance to the “We The Best” producer out of Miami had Twitter in a frenzy when DJ Akademiks shared a video clip of DJ Khaled jumping into the pool followed by a clip of someone who may or may not be Khaled twerking underwater with the skills of a mermaid.
Naturally the video caught the attention of some of DJ Khaled’s Hip-Hop peers such as Wack 100 who wrote ““WTF DID I JUST SEE. NAW MAN THE WORLD IS CHANGING. THIS ISNT WHAT WE DO,” and Wacka Flocka who chimed in with “unfollowing buddy right now 😂😂😂😂”
Rick Ross meanwhile saw the humor in the post and simply wrote “Haaaaa.” Lowkey read like a nervous “Haaaaa” but that’s just us.
Regardless if this was DJ Khaled or not (it more than likely wasn’t) it was still a pretty funny sight to see along with the reactions it garnered in it’s aftermath. Now we wait to hear from the God Did producer to deny or confirm that he can give Megan Stallion a run for her money.
What do y’all think of the video? Was that DJ Khaled or nah? Let us know in the comments section below.

DJ Khaled is securing all the bags. On Thursday (Feb. 9) in Miami Beach, the social media savant, entrepreneur and Grammy-winning artist announced numerous partnerships for his We The Best company that includes ventures with Def Jam, Snipes, Jordan Brand and more.
After a video intro from Sean “Diddy” Combs, DJ Khaled stepped into Mr. Chow for an hour-long press conference going over his agenda for 2023. The assembled Def Jam execs in the building was the first hint that Khaled’s We The Best Record label was partnering with Def Jam. It’s full circle for Khaled whose last five album were released via Epic Records and who used to be a label executive at Def Jam South.
“This new chapter marks a special time for me,” said Khaled from the stage. “The energy at this point in my career is at an all-time high and I’m grateful to Sir Lucian Grainge for allowing me to join his empire at this stage in my journey. Together, we will achieve even greater heights and take it to the next level. I feel blessed and so inspired with renewed energy. I’m excited to not only partner, but to come back home to Def Jam.”
Def Jam execs Tunji Balogun and LaTrice Burnette, who use to be his product manager, spoke excitedly of reuniting with Khaled. “We coming to f*ck shit up basically,” said Khaled after all the Def Jam news was delivered.
There was still plenty more to share as the renowned sneaker collector ran down plans for more shoes with Jordan Brand (his batch of Air Jordan 5’s sold out in minutes late last year) and SNIPES. For the latter, SNIPES CEO Sven Voth announced that this summer will see the opening of a We The Best SNIPES superstore in Miami Beach. Jordan Brand will also continue to donate funds to the We The Best Foundation to further its support of Black communities.
To cap things off, Khaled and his We The Best Foundation received keys to the city from two mayors (Miami and Miami Beach). God Did, indeed.

Nowadays Jay-Z is a man of few words. In an exclusive interview with TIDAL’s Elliott Wilson, the Brooklyn mogul discusses his recent Grammy performance and more.
As spotted on Tidal the legendary MC made history at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards show. The ceremony included a tribute honoring Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary but DJ Khaled pulled off his own memorable moment in the first-ever live performance of his posse cut “God Did”. According to Wilson, he received a surprise text from Jay requesting he show up to Crypto.com Arena for rehearsals. In an exclusive interview Hov spoke with the Rap Radar founder about show and his history with the academy.
When asked why he ultimately decided to perform his four-minute verse he said he did it for the people. “Lenny S. [Roc Nation Senior Vice President Lenny Santiago] got to tell you that one. I thought about it, I was in my head and I just broke down and said, ‘You know, it’s a four-minute verse’. Again, for the culture, for Hip-Hop, we got to do that,” he said.
Jay-Z went on to explain why he needed to take advantage of the special occasion. “It’s not what you expect. And for the culture and for Hip-Hop, we got to do that. We owe that. This thing that changed our lives. We got to do that. A four-minute verse performed at the Grammys. We owe it to the culture, and it ain’t even a burden. It’s a blessing. It’s easy and fun.”
Wilson also got Jay-Z to speak on the elephant in the room regarding his complex history with the Grammys. “The truth is, we grew up wanting to be on the Grammys, and it was our goal. We just want them to get it right. That’s what we want. Obviously it’s music and it’s all subjective, but you got to be in the ballpark. That’s all we want” he added. You can read the interview in its entirety here and watch Rick Ross, John Legend, Jay-Z, DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne perform “God Did” below.

“We love you brother,” Khaled declared from the stage, as captured by Billboard from the festival. “You’re one of the nicest people I ever met in my life. Every time I talk to you, you said you love me. I hit you back, and said I love you. I’ll never forget my last text with Takeoff. Long live forever Takeoff. He said, ‘Khaled, I’m so happy to call you my brother.’ I’m so happy to you call you my brother, Takeoff.”
The Grammy winning producer went on to play a series of Migos hits including “Fight Night” and “Versace,” before he revealed that the hip-hop trio was scheduled to perform with him at the festival. “It was going to be my surprise guest,” Khaled revealed. “They’re still here. Make some noise for my brother, Takeoff. Takeoff is here right now. We love you. We appreciate you.” I’m doing this for hip-hop. I represent hip-hop across the world.”
Earlier in the day, Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner announced during a news conference that a man has been arrested and charged in connection to Takeoff’s murder. 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested on the east side of Houston, Texas, on Thursday (Nov. 1), and charged with murder, while another man, 22-year-old Cameron Joshua, was arrested and charged with the unlawful carrying of a weapon.
DJ Khaled turned 47 on Saturday and got quite the birthday gift from Drake in the form of multiple — yes, multiple — luxury toilets.
“@champagnepapi real talk – my Queen and I been wanting this for our house!! thank u my brother!!” the hitmaker wrote in an Instagram Reel showing off the hygienic gifts. “Nahhh this No regular toilet 🚽 this that TOTO! Same model as the ones in the embassy…I LIKE WHAT DRAKE LIKE!! Love brother!! Thank you for the gift.”
According to Khaled’s effusive commentary in the video, the Toto toilets come complete with heated seats, a UV light cleaning system, air-refreshing deodorizers, a night light, operation via remote control and a bidet function (“The water, too, that splats up!”).
“If you’ve ever been to Drake’s house, you know Drake’s house is worth, like, 500 million dollars. So yes, Toto. It’s not about the money, it’s just about, he went and got the best of the best so he gifted us a few of these Toto toilet bowls and I’m hearing…I ain’t try it yet but I’m hearing there’s some music involved too, might play some music. Nah, real talk!” he raved. “Shout-out to Toto, Drake, thank you for this gift. This is the most amazing toilet bowl I’ve ever seen in my life!”
Khaled and Drake most recently collaborated on God Did single “Staying Alive” with Lil Baby, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also bounded its way to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Rhythmic Airplay, Hot Rap Songs and Streaming Songs charts in August.
