Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley stopped by The Breakfast Club to continue her ridiculous narrative that America is not a racist country, and the morning show hosts, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, proved they are still inept at handling interviews with people like her.
For whatever reason, Nikki Haley was invited to The Breakfast Club to speak about her soon-to-be-dead campaign to be the GOP’s candidate for President of The United States.
Nikki Haley, who is still far behind the twice-impeached former president Donald Trump, has been in hot water due to ridiculous statements regarding America and its well-known ties to slavery and racism.
During her interview with The Breakfast Club, Haley confirmed that she is still very much delusional when it comes to this country’s past and current problems regarding race.
Haley ridiculously claimed with some minimal pushback that the racial decision, clearly exacerbated by her former boss, Donald Trump, began under former President Barack Obama’s eight years in the White House.
Haley was asked why she is so against Vice President Kamala Harris being president of the United States. One of Haley’s talking points during her campaign stops is a vote for Trump brings us one step closer to Harris becoming POTUS.
Per NewsOne:
“With Obama, if you go back. That’s when we really started to feel the division,” Haley said to The Breakfast Club hosts. “Everything was exaggerated with the Obama administration. It became more about gender, it became more about race, it became more about separating Americans instead of bringing them together,” Haley continued, claiming Obama made Americans “feel boxed in.”

It’s Everybody’s Fault, Not Just White Folks, According To Nikki Haley
She wasn’t done. Charlamagne correctly pointed to “white supremacy” as the main reason for the racial division during the Obama presidency; Haley, as expected, found a way to say everyone is to blame.
“Everybody is at fault. I’m not saying one person did this, but I’m saying under that administration, it really did cause some… You just felt — people felt like they were being put in camps through that administration,” Haley said.
Really?
The interview was a hot ass mess, where Haley did her best to separate herself from Donald Trump while trying to woo his cult-like MAGA supporters.
The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy and *insert sarcasm* political maverick Charlamagne Tha God are also facing criticism for their lack of interviewing skills when it comes to talking to people in politics.

Welp, it’s finally official: comedian Jess Hilarious will be the permanent new co-host at The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy. After spending much of 2023 rotating different co-hosts, including Jess Hilarious, to replace Angela Yee, who left the show in December 2022, it was announced Monday that Hilarious is finally on the show for good.

“I’m very excited to have Jess Hilarious join The Breakfast Club. She is a force in her own right, an actress, comedian, podcaster, and now, the co-host of The Breakfast Club,” Thea Mitchem, iHeartMedia executive vice president of programming, said in a published statement. “Jess was the standout choice to join Charlamagne and DJ Envy to build upon The Breakfast Club’s legacy of entertaining, informing and enlightening the community.”
Hilarious, born Jessica Robin Moore, also expressed gratitude for making the cut as permanent co-host.

“I’m looking forward to joining forces with one of the largest media platforms,” she said. “I’m confident that taking the third seat at The Breakfast Club will show people that Jess Hilarious is not just comedy, but culture.”
Things were looking pretty touch and go regarding Hilarious’ future on the popular radio show. The Wild ‘N Out star had already told her followers that she had been selected as The Breakfast Club’s permanent host last month, but Charlamagne disputed the claim telling TMZ that he was “not happy” with the fact that he was still in the dark regarding who the new host would be and that he’s “done with the rotating of the guest hosts,” which implied that Hilarious still hadn’t gotten the greenlight.
Chances of Jess joining the show seemed even slimmer last week when she went in on Charlamagne and Envy calling them “trash” for suggesting that R&B songstress SZA is this generation’s Mary J. Blige.
But all’s well that ends well, and now Jess Hilarious is officially a card-carrying member of The Breakfast Club. Congrats, Jess, and good luck.

It has only been a month since comedian Jess Hilarious announced that she was set to be the new host of The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne The God and DJ Envy, and drama between Jess and the hosts has already ensued. Note: Charlamagne disputed the claim that she was selected as a permanent host, but we’ll get to that in a second.

On Tuesday (Jan. 23), Jess shared a post by The Shade Room that showed Envy and Charlamagne elevating songstress SZA to the level of Mary J. Blige. Jess was having none of it.

“These N-ggas trash,” the Wild ‘N Out comedian wrote. “Envy shut up! I know artists be pissed when old heads do this bc now everybody negatively comparing SZA to MJB and it ain’t even her fault! She has her own identity already.”
It’s arguable that Hilarious isn’t wrong here. Calling SZA the new Mary is basically opening the door for trolls and die-hard MBJ fans to lash out and cause the “Kill Bill” singer to catch strays when she was just minding her own business and being great.

Still, it’s also arguable that Jess was being a little harsh when she called Charlamagne and Envy “trash” just for making the comparison. Perhaps her hostility towards the two Breakfast Club hosts has something to do with whatever happened with her joining the team.
From Hip Hop DX:
In late December, the former Wild N’Out star announced that she would be replacing Angela Yee on The Breakfast Club after more than a year of the morning show being just a two-man operation.
“It’s official,” she said during an event in her hometown. “I’ma put the fuck on for my city. Specifically, West Baltimore.”
However, these plans seem to have fallen apart.
Just last week, Charlamagne Tha God said he was “not happy” about the confusion surrounding the show, which has been without a third host since Yee departed in December 2022 to front her own syndicated program.
The Breakfast Club has had a number of rotating guest hosts including Claudia Jordan, Jess Hilarious, Jason Lee, and Loren LoRosa over the last year and a half, but they have yet to announce a permanent replacement.

When asked by TMZ about the situation, CTG said: “I would really like to know. I just came from downstairs. It was just me and Envy doing the show again.
“Everybody saw us rotating guest hosts last year and we said we were gonna start 2024 off with a new host and that hasn’t happened yet.”
He added: “I am done with the rotating of the guest hosts.”
Welp, now that Jess Hillarious has fired off on the show’s only two current hosts, chances of her ever becoming a Breakfast Club host—if it’s even something she wants anymore—have likely gone from slim to nill.
So, what do y’all think? Is Jess right about the comparison of SZA to Mary, or did Envy and The God have a fair point? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

With DJ Envy still embroiled in his allege real estate scam and all the slander that comes with it, Rick Ross continues to remind everyone there’s no love lost between himself and the Breakfast Club co-host. Rozay once again threw a few darts at the embattled DJ.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the biggest bawse of ’em all was asked about DJ Envy’s current legal troubles which allege that he participated in real estate fraud with his partner, Cesar Pina. Not one to bite his tongue on such serious matters, Rick Ross took the opportunity to get a thing or two off his chest and told Rolling Stone that he felt DJ Envy was a “thief” and that he felt especially bad for the older women who were duped out of their savings by Envy and Pina, allegedly.
Rolling Stone reports:

“Yo, that was classic. ‘Beige Rage.’ That’s DJ Liquidation. DJ Scammer. Yo, you’re from New York? Did he scam anyone you know?” Rozay said in response to questions about his feud with Envy. He went on to say, “You gotta poll all the older ladies in your family because they said they specifically targeted older women who would stay up late at night and order silver jewelry off the TV. You gotta call all your grandmas and aunties. Those real-estate scams … He’s a thief. It’s unfortunate for the older ladies.”
Who knew Rick Ross was so empathetic to the senior citizens of the Tri-State Area? Must be angling to have some homemade baked pies sent his way or something.
Still, Envy is denying the allegations and said he’s fully cooperating with investigators on the matter. Not only that but Cesar Pina himself is saying that DJ Envy wasn’t involved in the dealings that went on either. So at least he has that going for him.
Regardless of whether or not Envy is cleared of all these allegations, this is something that will be hard to live down as the jokes basically write themselves and anyone who doesn’t care for him will forever point this out for the foreseeable future. Well, we know Ross will at least.
What do y’all think of Rick Ross calling DJ Envy a thief? Is he or did he get caught up in something he didn’t know was going on behind closed doors? Let us know in the comments section below.

In more DJ Envy news, Erica Mena is now revisiting her affair with The Breakfast Club co-host.
Taking a slight detour from DJ Envy and his alleged involvement in a multi-million dollar real estate scam, the focus is shifted back to his infidelity that almost ruined his marriage.

During a recent episode of the Reality with the King podcast, unemployed reality star Erica Mena spoke about her affair with DJ Envy. She revealed that she allegedly had no idea he was married and only found out after a phone call with his wife, Gia Casey.
Per Complex:

“That came out when I got on Love & Hip Hop, and we had just broken up because the wife found out, which I was totally oblivious to. I knew about the kids, mind you. I have a kid, but I have a baby daddy, and it’s more common where we come from to have kids, but you’re not married; you just got a baby mama,” said Mena.
She continued, “I knew about the kids, and it was always told to me [that she was] his kid’s mother, never wife. And I didn’t get that realization until I got a phone call from the wife.”
DJ Envy Was Allegedly Out Here Acting Like He Wasn’t Married
The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star also claims that Envy was out here acting like a single man, giving her all of the attention and gifts only to leave her hanging.
“I’m over here—I have never been in this situation. Here’s this man that’s been doting over me, showering me, you know? I’m starting to fall for him, I spent a lot of time with him. This man flew me and all my friends to Miami; we were living our best lives up and down New York City, holding hands. We were very public,” Mena said.
After Envy was caught slipping, he abruptly ended the affair and blamed Mena while copping pleas with his wife, who called into the Breakfast Club morning show, where the radio host apologized while on-air.
“A couple of days later, I’m getting blown up. ‘Envy’s on-air dogging you out.’ [He said] something to the effect of how he cheated with someone that was beneath him, that whole stuff. So when that happened, I was like: okay. So this is what he’s doing? He’s trying to save half of everything.’ I get it. But why run me through the mud when you knew I didn’t know?” Mena said.

Yikes.
DJ Envy is having one of the worst years of his life. Mena isn’t too far behind. We will chalk it all up to karma.

Killer Mike is making sure his good name stays clean. The Atlanta rapper has denied doing any business with Cesar Pina after an old clip went viral.

HipHopDX is reporting that the Georgia native is making sure his name is not connected to Cesar Pina in any way. Earlier this week a video of the trapper turned rapper with the real estate entrepreneur from years back. The two are seen standing in front of a housing complex in Atlanta. “I haven’t hijacked or kidnapped DJ Envy — don’t worry, he’ll be back,” the MC quipped. “But I’m with my man Cesar right now. I said, ‘Cesar, you got to show me the gold mines that surround me.’

As expected Cesar chimes in and gets his huckster on. “We got a 28-unit building. Looks like a home run to me. 28 two-bedrooms, town house-style. We see opportunity out here. That’s all we see” he said. Killer Mike added “And we not going to pay a lot of money for it,” with Pina responding “Oh no, that’s key. Under market value.” The Trigger Warning host would go on to say “I’m about to go ride around and look at some more sh*t”.
In the wake of Cesar Pina getting hit with federal charges for allegedly running a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme the clip resurfaced prompting Mike to clear things up. “A mutual friend told me I should meet him so I did,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “We did no business, I never endorsed him and if u watch the video I just looked at some sh*t he showed me and got outta there.”
You can see the original clip with Killer Mike and Cesar below.

Desus Nice is also getting on the clown DJ Envy fun.
DJ Envy has been fighting for his life on social media since word of his real estate business partner, Cesar Pina was arrested for his involvement in a multi-million dollar real estate fraud scheme, and many believe the radio host was involved.

Everybody and their mama, including Rick Ross, has been going in on DJ Envy, and the latest public figure to take a dig at the Breakfast Club morning show co-host is none other than Desus Nice.

Desus Nice and his ill feelings towards DJ Envy is no secret, and call it divine timing, he used his special guest appearance as the host of The Daily Show clown DJ Envy.
Per HipHopDX:
“It’s definitely not funny,” he began, sarcastically referring to how their relationship turned sour live on air a few years back. “There’s certainly nothing personal that makes it funny to me. It’s not like RaaShaun [DJ Envy’s real name] accosted me on the radio for making a little joke about him and his wife, which I only thought we were friends!
“It’s not like he called me ‘dickhead’ and then got so mad, he locked himself in the studio for the rest of the show and then told the building security I was a threat. But even if that happened, that’s all in the past.”
“We’re not laughing at this. We’re also not asking, ‘who’s the dickhead now?’” he said. “I’m just doing the news and the news is that DJ Envy’s a DJ — a man who turns tables, and now, the tables have turned.”

Desus Nice Beef With DJ Envy Goes All The Way Back To 2018
Desus Nice and DJ Envy’s beef goes back to 2018 when Desus and Mero stopped by The Breakfast Club, and the interview went left.
Minutes into the interview, DJ Envy checked the former duo about comments made on their Viceland show he perceived as disrespectful towards his wife.
“It’s not a joke when you’re talking about my wife,” Envy told the duo. The comment in question is when Desus joked, “You knew them DJ Envy checks, though,” talking about when Envy’s wife said she didn’t know DJ Envy but knew RaaShaun.

Envy’s wife made those comments while appearing on The Real while talking about her husband’s infidelity.
After the duo offered multiple apologies, Envy, or as Desus calls him, DJ Envious, walked out of the interview, and the beef has been ongoing since.

DJ Envy found himself in the crosshairs of an ongoing investigation involving Cesar Pina and the FlippingNJ real estate business the pair often promoted via their respective channels. After the arrest of Cesar Pina last week, DJ Envy, through his representation, says he’ll cooperate with the authorities in supporting the investigation with information.
On Tuesday (October 24), Law & Crime reporter Meghann Cuniff, known for her coverage of the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez matter, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a statement from Envy’s attorney, Massimo D’Angelo. D’Angelo says that his client will be a willing partner with federal investigators as they continue to work the case.

From X:

I just got off the phone with DJ Envy’s lawyer, Massimo D’Angelo, who says Envy is one of Cesar Pina’s Ponzi scheme victims.
“Obviously, Envy is going to be assisting and cooperating fully” to get not only his money back, but money back for the other victims.
In the thread, Cuniff added, “D’Angelo says Envy invested $500K with Pina but “didn’t get any money back. He paid out substantial sums similar to some of the other investors who thought they were getting money back.”
Cuniff concluded the thread by writing, “D’Angelo wouldn’t tell me if Envy has testified before a grand jury, but he’s agreed to go on a YouTube live with me later this week. It’s going to be great! I’ll announce the day and time ASAP.”
Fans of Cuniff have been calling for her expert breakdowns of the DJ Envy and Cesar Pina case, and their requests have apparently been answered. Check out the X thread below.

CLOSE

DJ Envy is still a free man as of this moment but it appears that the long arm of the law will be closing in on him soon, that is if the allegations of fraud are true. The longtime radio host and entrepreneur is facing a mountain of claims that DJ Envy and Cesar Pina swindled prospective homeowners out of millions in botched real estate deals.
Earlier this month, we shared details of a News 4 NY I-Team report that dug into the nuts and bolts of the alleged real estate fraud claims that DJ Envy and Cesar Pina are facing. Often on his popular morning radio program, The Breakfast Club, Envy would mention the promotion of his real estate partnership with Pina.
Beyond The Breakfast Club, Envy and Pina hit the road for seminars and public appearances promoting methods for others to join in on their real estate hauls and get into flipping houses for profit.
Last week, Pina was arrested and facing charges of wire fraud in connection to the FlippingNJ business that he allegedly operated with Env. Pina pleaded not guilty to the charges and is now free on a $1 million bond. He is required to wear an ankle monitor and cannot leave the state of New Jersey.
Given the explosive nature of the claims and the celebrity status of DJ Envy, it didn’t take long for Black Twitter (yes, we’re still calling it that) to get into the mess with their takes and reactions. Of course, the jokes are all over the place with some even realizing that the writing was on the wall based on some of Envy’s online moves.
Check out the reactions below.
