Now we know why nobody cares about Donald Trump’s alleged second assassination attempt: it’s all Sean “Diddy” Combs’ fault.
Fox News has gone from reporting factual news to peddling full-blown conspiracy theories. Fox host Maria Bartiromo told her viewers that Diddy’s arrest was an orchestrated plan to take the attention away from the second “assassination attempt” on the disgraced former president’s life.
Per Raw Story:
“Don’t you find it ironic, Miranda, that once again they take that same strategy out and that is change the conversation?” Bartiromo asked Australian columnist Miranda Devine.
“The timing of the P. Diddy arrest? Please. They must have had the P. Diddy arrest on the shelf waiting to take it off the shelf for when they needed it,” she alleged of the three-count indictment against the rapper, which includes an extensive racketeering operation.
“And yesterday, boy, oh boy did they need it because the questions were spiking everywhere as far as how it is possible that another assassination attempt happened, that another would be assassin was within a couple of hundred yards of President Trump,” claimed Bartiromo.
“As we’re all asking these questions, boom, they take P. Diddy in and now we’re all talking about that, take it off the front page. This [is the] strategy over and over again. I saw right through it as soon as it happened,” she said.
WHAT?
Republicans Love A Good Conspiracy Theory
Well, Bartiromo failed to tell her viewers that people are no longer interested in Trump’s second “assassination” attempt because the Secret Service revealed that 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh didn’t even get a shot off and ran away after he was scared off.
Republicans have been stuck in conspiracy land since Trump became the leader of the party, pushing other baseless claims like legal Haitian immigrants eating the pets of Springfield, Ohio natives.
These people have lost their minds.

Sean “Diddy” Combs will remain held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after his bail request was denied again. The attorneys for Diddy vow to keep working to get their client out of the MDC, which has a notorious reputation for poor conditions, violence, and other issues.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, is reportedly being held in a special unit inside the MDC as reported by ABC News. Judge Andrew Carter ruled on the motion Wednesday (September 18) despite concessions offered by Combs and his team to limit visits to his home from women and other stipulations. Combs currently faces charges of sex trafficking by force, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering.
Judge Carter added in the ruling that the offers made by Combs’ defense team fell short of the requirements needed to move ahead and allow Combs to go free ahead of his sentencing for the aforementioned crimes. ABC News wrote in their report that Combs did not display much in the way of emotion to the bail denial.
Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo said their side plans to appeal the ruling and told a gathering of reporters of their plan to move ahead.
“The fight continues, we’re not giving up by a long shot,” Agnifilo said. He also added that the team is undecided on whether or not to waive Combs’ right to a speedy trial but wants his client to wait for the sentencing in the comfort of his Star Island home.
“Mr. Combs has maintained he’s innocent,” Agnifilo added. “He’s a smart guy, he knows what he did and what he didn’t do, he knows what he intended and didn’t intend and I believe him… he’s a man who knows what it’s like to have a jury of 12 New Yorkers look at you and say ‘not guilty’ and he’s looking forward to that happening again.”
Prosecutors in the matter are angling for Combs to remain held due to what they said are patterns of abusive behavior and the power and influence the music mogul wield in several walks in the entertainment business.
Before the hearing concluded, Judge Carter spoke about the disturbing 2016 video footage of Combs hitting and dragging his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura down a hotel hallway. The defense team attempted to frame Combs’ actions as a reaction to their 10-year relationship ending over him stepping outside their relationship.

Montel Williams blasted a MAGA supporter for purposely confusing him with Diddy online, and social media joined in on the attack on the influencer.
Television host Montel Williams called out a MAGA fan’s racist attempt to smear Vice President Kamala Harris on social media by deliberately confusing him with Sean “Diddy” Combs. The situation occurred on Tuesday (September 17) when self-described “ultra-MAGA’ influencer Josh Dunlap shared a video of Williams with Harris (whom he was dating at the time) and his daughter at a Multiple Sclerosis charity event in 1999 in a post on X, formerly Twitter claiming that Williams was the mogul. The former Marine swiftly called out Dunlap in a post quoting the original one, writing: “Here they go again with ‘all black people look alike…’
The post was heinous, as it occurred after a press conference was held by the Office of the Southern District of New York concerning Combs’ arrest after he was indicted on multiple charges of racketeering and sex trafficking late Monday night (September 16). The X platform’s community notes feature would be deployed, spelling out the details of the false claim. Dunlap would later delete the post after Williams’ reposting. The former national talk show host is currently the host of the Lifetime Network series Military Makeover: Operation Career, which shows military members being helped with the transition back to civilian life after completing their service.
Other individuals on X joined in with Williams in calling out Dunlap’s racism. One account on X, formerly Twitter by the name of BadTrumpQuips mocked Dunlap and other right-wing supporters of Republican nominee Donald Trump, writing: “We’re not racist but we can’t tell black people apart – MAGA”. Other users went another route, calling Dunlap out for a previous arrest record of violence. Others shared photos of Diddy with Trump in the past. A couple of users opted to make a joke out of the situation, saying Williams reminded them of the hit singer Montell Jordan.

Now that the Southern District of New York has officially been indicted Diddy, people are dying to know more details about his alleged sex trafficking ring that allegedly led to dozens of women and men being taken advantage— of and thousands of bottles of baby oil and lubricant ending up in Diddy’s estate.
Luckily for everyone, a docuseries centered around The Diddler is already in development, and no, we’re not talking about the one 50 Cent has in the works. Investigation Discovery (ID) and Quiet on Set producer Maxine Productions have announced that they’re already on the case and will be getting into the nitty gritty surrounding Diddy’s “Freak Off” party committee (y’all can have that bar for free).
With everything from drugs, guns and setting Kid Cudi’s car on fire, ID will have a lot of ground to cover, and we’ll all be here for it. The project is still untitled but per a press release it will delve into the “allegations of violent behavior and illegal activity that have trailed the music mogul.”
The docuseries also plans to use the reporting of Rolling Stone (it is being produced in association with Rolling Stone Films) along with archival footage to bring the full story to light. For now, the doc will be released in 2025 on ID and Max.
Now that Diddy’s facing 15 years to life in prison for his disturbing transgressions, don’t be surprised if the founder of Bad Boy Records decides to save his own ass and go the Tekashi 6ix9ine route in an effort to get himself a lighter sentence. As we all know, the bigger the fish the more likely he’ll be able to get himself off the hook. Lots of music and entertainment heavyweights might be sweating all the bullets as we speak.
Will y’all be tuning into the forthcoming Diddy docuseries surrounding his disturbing actions? Of course you will, but sound off in the comments section anyway.

Sean Combs, otherwise known as Diddy, was arrested earlier this week and formally charged in New York with sex trafficking, racketeering, and other charges. Diddy is currently serving out his pre-trial detention at a notorious Brooklyn detention center known for the poor state of its facility, violence, and being understaffed among other issues.
Diddy, who was denied bail and will remain housed until his sentencing, is being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. As seen in The Daily Beast, the conditions of the Metropolitan Detention Center, largely known as the MDC, have been fodder for discussion in particular since the closing of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. As the outlet noted, the MCC is where Jeffrey Epstein died under what some say were mysterious circumstances.
Combs’ legal team, Marc Agnifilo, and Teny R. Geragos, noted the poor state of the MDC in the filing of a motion for bail on Tuesday (September 17), it was mentioned that housing their client in a place that is “not fit for pre-trial detention” should be out of the question.
Throughout the Daily Beast, several instances are mentioned regarding the MDC’s deterioration, and the critiques levied upon the facility by judges and other officials date back several years. In January 2019, the MDC lost power, leaving the inmates inside suffering from the cold conditions without relief. As a result, a class action lawsuit was brought against the MDC and was settled for $10 million.
The MDC has previously housed other high-profile figures such as R. Kelly, Martin Shkreli, and Sam Bankman-Fried among others.
Agnifilo said on Tuesday after the hearing where charges were read that his team plans to appeal the $50 million bail decision.

Sean Combs, also known under his stage name Diddy, was charged on Tuesday (September 17) after he was arrested at a New York hotel on Monday. Diddy faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting for prostitution according to recently revealed court documents.
The news of the indictment has spread like wildfire through social media channels as the details of the case continue to unravel. As reported by TMZ, the indictment notes that between 2008 and the present day, Sean Combs and those connected to his business ventures are accused of forced labor, sex trafficking, transporting for prostitution, kidnapping, arson, and other related charges.
At the center of the unsealed indictment were details that date back to 2008 to the present day alleging that Combs lorded over his enterprise and used his money, power, and influence to unleash abuse towards women and men, including those who performed sex work. Also revealed were details of the so-called “Freak Off” parties where Combs used drugs to control his victims and have them do his bidding. During these parties, Combs allegedly masturbated and often recorded the events, while also transporting the sex workers across state lines to participate.
The Freak Offs were so intense according to the documents, Combs and the victims would need to rehydrate intravenously to recover from the high levels of drugs in their systems. The documents also revealed that Combs employed his staff to keep these parties stocked with lubricants, bedding, lighting, baby oil, and more, then had the staff clean up the evidence.
Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles were famously raided earlier this year with officials discovering narcotics, a thousand bottles of lubricant and baby oil, and high-powered weaponry including three AR-15s that had their serial numbers forcibly removed.
The legal team for Diddy says that the Bad Boy Records mogul is showing a brave face and is willingly cooperating with the authorities. On Tuesday, attorney Marc Agnifilo shared some brief statements.
“His spirits are good. He’s confident,” Agnifilo said to a media throng gathering outside the Manhattan courthouse. He added that Combs intends to “fight like hell” against the allegations and intends to plead not guilty.

On Monday, September 16, Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in Manhattan after a grand jury indicted the disgraced Hip-Hop mogul. At the moment, the indictment ushered by the Southern District of NY is sealed.
USA Damian Williams: Earlier this evening, federal agents arrested Sean Combs, based on a sealed indictment filed by the SDNY. We expect to move to unseal the indictment in the morning and will have more to say at that time.
— US Attorney SDNY (@SDNYnews) September 17, 2024
However, according to the New York Times, one of Diddy’s lawyerx, Marc Agnifilo, believed his client is facing charges that include racketeering and sex trafficking.
The arrest comes after months of Diddy being sued by various women, including former Bad Boy artists, suing the No Way Out rapper for allegations that included sexual abuse and assault. It all started when Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy back in November 2023, which was quickly settled the next. But the proverbial damn was broken as more women came forward accusing Diddy of similar crimes.
Although he continued to adamantly claim his innocence with regards to all the other lawsuits, in May 2024, CNN shared hotel footage of Diddy beating on Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel lobby. It was after the video evidence that Mr. Combs took to Instagram to apologize, in a now since deleted video that did little to earn him any sympathy considering the heinous abuse the world saw in the footage.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community,” said Diddy’s reps in a statement to the New York Times. “He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal.”
The latest lawsuit against Diddy was filed last week by former Bay Boy artist and Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard. In her suit she claims to have witness Diddy beating on Cassiue and to have suffered abuse that included unwanted touching, threats of violence so much overwork that she was hospitalized.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is getting sued, again. Dawn Richard of Danity Kane fame has accused the disgraced mogul of sexual and physical abuse.
TMZ reports that Dawn Richard, who starred in the 2004 reality series Making The Band on MTV, has filed a lawsuit against Diddy accusing him sexual abuse, physical violence and heinous demands while she was part of his Bad Boy Records fold. Besides Danity Kane, was also part of Diddy – Dirty Money, a trio with Diddy and singer Kalenna Harper.
The accusations in Richard’s suit are aligned with the various lawsuits Diddy is already embroiled in along with the claims laid out by Cassie in her settled lawsuit—and the aforementioned singer is also mentioned by name as is the late Kim Porter, the Bad Boy founder’s ex-girlfriend and mother of three of his children.
Per TMZ:
The former Danity Kane member said during on-set auditions, Diddy called female contestants “fat,” “ugly,” “bitches” and “hoes.” She said Diddy had particular disdain for her because she was young and excited to work with such a famous person.
In 2005, the court docs say, Richard saw another of Diddy’s former girlfriends, Kim Porter, crying as she left a music studio with her face all banged up. It was then Richard says she realized Diddy was capable of violence and her life could be in danger.
A year later, Richard was present when Diddy was first introduced to Cassie, invading her space while transfixed on her in a predatory fashion, according to the docs. In 2009, she says she personally witnessed Diddy — high on drugs — throw Cassie against a wall, choke her and drag her up a flight of stairs in his L.A. home.
Richard says Diddy also hurled a scalding pan of eggs at Cassie while yelling, “I’ve been asking you for my s**t; I can’t stand you bitch, you never do it right!”
Along with more descriptions of Cassie being allegedly abused by Diddy, Richard also claims he touched her buttocks and breasts inappropriately, abused her mentally and threatened her and Diddy-Dirty Money’a Kalenna Harper after getting word that they urged the singer to leave him.
“Y’all bitches don’t get in my relationship,” allegedly said Diddy per the lawsuit, “Don’t tell my bitch [Cassie] what she need to be doing … Just make money and shut the f**k up … I end artists … I shelve careers … You could be missing … You bitches want to die today.”

Months ago, it was reported that an indictment was imminent in relation to the investigation that authorities had opened up on Diddy, and though that day has yet to come, it seems like the feds are working hard to cross their T’s and dot their I’s before laying down the law on “Brother Love.”
According to TMZ, feds are looking into a specific hotel in Miami as they continue to look for evidence of wrongdoing on Diddy’s behalf and subpoenaed not only the hotel for their records relating to Diddy’s stay, but also named 50 Cent’s baby mama, Daphne Joy, in the subpoena as well. As you may or may not remember, Joy being involved in Diddy’s shenanigans led to a weird back-and-forth between Stevie J and 50 Cent earlier this year that didn’t materialize to much past a few social media posts.
But now that she’s back in the spotlight in this new subpoena, one can only wonder if 50 will once again begin to troll either his baby mama or Diddy as he’s known to do. But until that happens (or not), authorities will continue to comb for more evidence as the investigation into Diddy continues to heat up.
Per TMZ:
The subpoena specifies the period from January 1, 2008, to the present, asking for check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest preferences and requests, and billing information, including room service.
Federal prosecutors also requested email and mailing addresses and phone numbers, along with forms of payment, such as cash and credit cards.
Prosecutors further asked for computer IP addresses and logins for the individuals, as well as copies of their identifications and vehicle information. What’s more, the feds inquired about surveillance footage at the hotel.
The new subpoena was issued only a couple weeks ago … so it looks like the authorities are still hard at work on the Diddy probe.
While Diddy was able to settle with Cassie, he still has a few other lawsuits he’s currently fighting in court in hopes of getting them dismissed, including the one that basically started this avalanche, the Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones suit.
How this ends is anyone’s guess. But we’re pretty sure Diddy himself either knows he’ll be cleared of all charges, or if he is eyeing a flight to a country, allegedly, that will not extradite him to the U.S. should he become a wanted man.
What do y’all think about this latest development? Let us know in the comments section below.

Diddy has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit from Lil Rod, alleging that the producer sexually abused him.
According to reports, lawyers representing Diddy have filed a motion in a New York federal court seeking to dismiss the lawsuit brought against him by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in February. In a statement, the lawyers say that Lil Rod’s lawsuit “fails to state a single viable claim” and that the accusations are false. The original suit by Jones claims that Diddy drugged him, sexually assaulted and harassed him, and goaded him into procuring prostitutes to engage in sex with during a year that he spent with the mogul in Miami and Los Angeles producing the Love Album: Off The Grid from 2022 to 2023. Jones also claimed that Diddy, aka Sean Combs, was part of a RICO enterprise that included executives from Love Records, Motown Records, and Universal Music Group.
“There was no RICO conspiracy and Mr. Jones was not threatened, groomed, assaulted, or trafficked,” Diddy’s lead attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement. “We look forward to proving — in a court of law — that all of Mr. Jones’ claims are made-up and must be dismissed.” Jones’ initial lawsuit alleges that he has hundreds of hours of audio capturing many of the acts described, including threats of physical harm made against him by Diddy. The lawsuit also names Diddy’s oldest son, Christian “King” Combs, and other executives. Jones is seeking $30 million dollars in damages, claiming that he wasn’t paid for his work on the Love Album: Off The Grid, which would be nominated for a Grammy Award, and claiming Diddy promised him $20,000 and four royalty points per song in addition to publishing credits. A spokesperson for Combs denied that in a statement to Rolling Stone.
The motion comes as Diddy is dealing with six other lawsuits that allege that he engaged in sexual assault, drugging, and physical attacks. He is also the subject of a sex trafficking probe initiated by federal investigators, which resulted in a raid on his properties in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year.
The fallout came after he was sued by his former partner, Cassie Ventura, last November on charges of rape and assault. He would settle with her shortly after.
