Diddy has yet another legal issue to deal with. It is alleged that a law firm has stopped representing him at the request of Lady Gaga.
As spotted on News Nation Now, the media mogul has had another door close on him. Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks has formally dismissed him as a client. While this is not the first business to sever ties with the Bad Boy Entertainment founder, an unidentified source tells the website that this decision was made at the behest of Lady Gaga. If the firm refused she threatened to walk. “Lady Gaga said she was leaving if they didn’t drop Diddy. And she’s too big to lose,” their insider claims.
Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks has represented Diddy for almost two decades. Over the years the “I’ll Be Missing You” MC built a personal relationship with co-founder Allen Grubman as News Nation Now states the two would hang out on the weekend while at the Hamptons. According to their website, GSM&S has represented the likes of LeBron James, Robert Dinero, U2, Bette Midler and Elton John.
Recently, Diddy has kept an even lower profile with the removal of all of his content on his verified Instagram feed. Additionally, all of his professional ties on his IMBD page have also been scrubbed and only lists Combs Global with one employee. Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks have yet to respond for comment.

Just weeks after it was reported that Diddy returned to keys to New York to the offices of Mayor Eric Adams, it’s now being reported that Miami wants nothing to do with the embattled music mogul either as they’re canceling the one day they dedicated to the Bad Boy founder.
According to TMZ, the Miami Beach Commission has made the decision to cancel their annual “Sean Diddy Combs Day,” which has apparently been a thing since it was bestowed on him in 2016. (Who knew?) The Miami Beach Commission becomes the latest institution to publicly cut ties with Diddy as Howard University, Revolt, Capital Preparatory Schools and a few others have done the same since the video of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, came to light.
TMZ reports:
In fact, Diddy received the proclamation in October 2016 … just 7 months after he was caught on surveillance video assaulting ex-GF inside an L.A. hotel. Of course, the general public — and certainly not the City of Miami Beach — knew that had happened until the video came out this year.
According to the Miami Herald, the MBC made the final decision this past Wednesday without any debate.
Miami Beach has long been Diddy’s home … his properties on Star Island were raided back in March and he’s since been spotted out and about.
Real talk, we didn’t even know Diddy had so many multi-city accolades until they began rescinding them after learning he was in fact a trash human being, allegedly.

When Biggie Smalls asked, “What’s Beef?” he posed the question at the height of the East Coast/West Coast rap rivalry, which would ultimately result in the death of the Brooklyn MC—as well as Tupac Shakur.
But, does beef always have to end in death? Most Hip-Hop fans would hope not. The very nature of the culture is competitive, and rivalries can be thrilling and entertaining when they stay on wax.
The recent rivalry between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has been one of those quarrels that has reenergized the culture and entertained Hip-Hop fans in a way not seen in years.
SlotsUp online casino and Media Lab Insights recently prepared and shared statistics that detail the legacy of rap beef—by breaking the statistics and songs into eras which are marked by a major event.
“These timelines were used to better understand the development of conflicts, success, and the demand for performance in the hip-hop industry,” the report notes. “Their comparison is focused on three main points: the technical aspect (the average tempo of the tracks (which can be calculated by the amount of bars, and the length), the profitability (the amount of platinum albums), and the risks involved (death rate).”
Researchers at SlotsUp commented on the study. “Until our current era, the more beef was around, the more successful the artists were. Our current era is going against this pattern, with the same amount of deaths and diss tracks as the first era, but with more platinum albums. Over the years, Hip-Hop became less technically demanding, especially after 2004. This study shows that conflicts aren’t always profitable, and violence can be avoided.”
The first era was marked by what the researchers called “The Roxanne Wars” in the mid-1980s. Two of the most significant songs were “Roxanne, Roxanne” and “Roxanne’s Revenge.” However, cultural commentators say that there were up to 30 songs related to the beef. The only major death to come out of that era was Scott La Rock—whose murder has not been directly attributed to the beef. The clear winner of this battle was Roxanne Shante, who went on to a lengthy career and is credited as one of the foundational female MC’s.

The second era was one of the most deadly. Lasting from 1992 to 1997, the beef sparked the true rise of the diss track. The research shows that diss tracks and deaths more than doubled while platinum albums skyrocketed to 35. The era saw 10 deaths, with three being the most prominent—Eazy E, 2Pac, and The Notorious B.I.G. The winner of this era could be seen as the recently disgraced Sean “Diddy” Combs as his Bad Boy imprint saw some of its biggest success following the death of B.I.G. This era also marked Hip-Hop’s biggest foray into the pop genre with an increase in record sales that would last for more than a decade—before the proliferation of streaming.
The third era, lasting from 1998-2004, featured the beef between Jay-Z and Nas. This era was also the most financially successful with more than 50 platinum albums. “Eminem was significant in this era,” as the study shows that the Detroit rapper released nine diss tracks. The winner of this era continues to be debated. However, the culture benefited from the end of the beef with Jay and Nas making several concert appearances together.

The fourth era: 2005-2008, is one largely of peace—kicked off by the end of the beef between Jay-Z and Nas—two New York rap titans. Also worth noting is the average length of rap songs would begin to get shorter with many getting under the 4-minute mark. The fifth era from 2009-2012, was marked by the release of Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. It would be the second era that Eminem would be involved in numerous beefs including with Benzino and Mariah Carey. It was during this era that beef would escalate in southern states with one significant death being that of Slim Dunkin.

Era number six was from 2013 to 2019. The most significant beef was between Drake and Meek Mill. However, the two would eventually collaborate (again, since they were cool prior to Meek’s Twitter fingers) on “Going Bad.” This era is also marked by continued financial success with more than 40 platinum albums. The murder of Nipsey Hussle would mark the end of this era.
Our current era began with the coronavirus pandemic, which affected the entire world but also highlighted the significance of “beef,” with the good-natured but often tense musical battles as part of the Verzuz series. But without question, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” is thus far the most powerful diss song of the era—but whether or not it’s over is still up for debate, and Drake. Fortunately, K. Dot did his victory lap by bringing gang members together on one stage as a show of unity at the conclusion of his pop out concert on Juneteenth.

Diddy has reportedly dropped his lawsuit against the company that acquired his Sean John clothing line a few years ago.
According to reports, Diddy has filed a joint dismissal notice to end his ongoing lawsuit against Global Brands Group (GBG) over their unauthorized usage of his likeness and name to promote their Sean John clothing collection. The motion was filed last Friday (June 21) with both parties agreeing. Diddy had sold 90% of his stake in the company that he founded in 1998 to GBG back in 2016 for $70 million. Sean John’s estimated worth at the time was $450 million. But afterward, he would go on to accuse GBG of using his name and likeness to promote the clothing without his express permission, specifically pointing to their use of his “Vote or Die” slogan that he had trademarked in addition to the company allegedly ignoring a cease-and-desist letter from him sent in 2020.
Diddy, aka Sean Combs, would file multiple lawsuits against GBG in February 2021 on those issues. He’d go on to secure the rights back to the Sean John brand later that year for $7.5 after GBG filed for bankruptcy. However, he persisted with his litigation, initially seeking $60 million. Further details on an alleged agreement between him and GBG were not publicized, but the dismissal notice does not prevent Diddy from filing more lawsuits against GBG in the future, stating “all remain expressly reserved and preserved.”
The news comes as Diddy is dealing with multiple lawsuits levied against him dating back to last November after his ex-partner, Cassie Ventura initially sued him for sexual assault and abuse. Ventura would agree to a settlement with Diddy, but that opened up a path for similar lawsuits. Since then, his homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by federal officials concerning an ongoing investigation. The 54-year-old artist and mogul also recently relinquished the key to New York City that he was given by Mayor Eric Adams in addition to giving up his ownership stake at REVOLT and having his honorary degree from Howard University rescinded.

It’s been a month since Diddy posted his widely-panned apology video on Instagram following the release of the security footage of him viciously beating Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016. Recently, Diddy took down all of his Instagram posts down including his half-assed apology, and many people are curious as to why.
According to TMZ, the disgraced music mogul wiped his social media page clean just last week. Naturally, many people began to come up with their theories behind Diddy’s actions, but apparently, it was just something Diddy has been wanting to do for a while. Looking to get a fresh new start on social media, the No Way Out rapper has apparently rebooted his online life as his actual life continues to go through all kinds of turmoil.
TMZ reports:
The internet was rife with theories on what might’ve been behind the move — but sources with direct knowledge have assured us there’s nothing behind the move other than Puff wanting to reset his posts … something we’re told he’s done in the past.
We’re told Diddy wasn’t taking a dig at Cassie either by getting rid of his apology — which is evident in the fact that he deleted all of his posts … not just that one.
The way our sources put it … Diddy’s apology was seen around the world and got published/broadcast everywhere — so everyone’s seen it, and it exists forever. In terms of how feels … we’re told Diddy meant what he said in that clip, and that stands even today.
In other words … him scrubbing his IG is in no way a swipe at his ex — nor is it him downplaying the seriousness of his sitch. Plus … our sources say he’s done this before — so this isn’t out of the ordinary for him … it’s just magnified because of all the attention lately.
It could also be that he doesn’t want any of his past posts used as evidence as authorities continue to investigate him for drug and sex trafficking. Just sayin’.
Naturally, his team is saying this wasn’t a “strategic” move. But with all the heat that Diddy’s been getting from the Department Of Justice, he should understand why people are suspicious of his latest actions.

Ever since the video of Diddy horrifically assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway hit the internet, Diddy’s been keeping a low profile as everyone and their mama has been vocal in their disgust and dismay at his inexcusable actions.
The video even prompted the struggle mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, to suggest that he was going to revoke the key to the city that Diddy was given just last year, and sure enough, Diddy has seemingly complied.
According to the Huffpost, the revered music icon turned-social pariah has indeed given up his key to the city after receiving letters from the mayor’s office asking that he return the symbolic gesture of civic recognition as they no longer feel Diddy is worthy of the honor. While some may have blown off the letters and kept it moving, Diddy respected the request and returned the award.
Per Huffpost:
The mayor’s office said Combs returned the key after Adams sent letters to the embattled musician’s offices in New York and California on June 4 rescinding the key and asking for it to be sent back to City Hall. The city received the key June 10.
In his letter, Adams wrote he was “deeply disturbed” by the attack, adding “I strongly condemn these actions and stand in solidarity with all survivors of domestic and gender-based violence.”
Combs’ career has been derailed by numerous accusations of sexual abuse, as well as a federal criminal sex-trafficking investigation that led to raids of Combs’ mansions in Los Angeles and Miami.
The news comes just weeks after Howard University also rescinded the honorary degree they awarded Diddy in 2014 and ended the scholarship program they had under his name.
While we’re sure these things hurt Diddy’s pride, he has much more to worry about as a grand jury has been empaneled in connection to the investigation into his many crimes against humanity.

Howard University announced that it is rescinding the honorary degree it bestowed on Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2014. The decision comes after video footage was revealed in May of the disgraced Hip-Hop mogul beating his ex-girlfriend and Bad Boy recording artist Cassie Ventura in a hotel lobby in 2016.
On Friday, June 7, the Howard University Board of Trustees announced that it decided to rescind Combs’ honorary degree and to return the $1 million the former student (he never actually graduated) had pledged to the school.
“The Howard University Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to accept the return by Mr. Sean Combs of the honorary degree conferred upon him in 2014,” said an official statement from Howard’s Board of Trustees. “This acceptance revokes all honors and privileges associated with the degree.”
Also, HU is effectively wiping any association with Diddy, who attended the HBCU in the early nineties before dropping out to pursue his career in the music business full time.
The statement continued, “Accordingly, the Board has directed that his name be removed from all documents listing honorary degree recipients of Howard University. Mr. Combs’ behavior as captured in a recently released video is so fundamentally incompatible with Howard University’s core values and beliefs that he is deemed no longer worthy to hold the institution’s highest honor.”
Interestingly, although Diddy originally pledged the $1 million donation in 2016, the Board’s statement reveals that no payments had been made by him or the Sean Combs Foundation to date. So there is no money to return (under a 2023 agreement). The scholarship program established in Combs’ name will also be disbanded.
Diddy, who has always spoken fondly of his time as an undergrad, was the commencement speaker at Howard in 2014 when he received the honorary degree.
Howard is just the latest entity to sever ties with Diddy. Others include Revolt, the media company he founded, and Hulu, which nixed a reality series about his family.

With the release of the video which caught Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel in 2016, many of his fans and peers have turned their back on the Hip-Hop icon. Now, you can add Ray J to that growing list as he feels the Bad Boy founder deserves to have hands put on him as well.
Just days after Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, said she’d welcome the opportunity to slap Diddy for his abusive ways, Ray J echoed the sentiment during his sit-down interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay. Delving into the topic of his friendship with P. Diddy, Shannon asked Ray J about his thoughts on the situation that The Diddler finds himself in following the release of the Cassie video and everything else that’s been brought to light as well.
Not one to mince his words, Ray J expressed his disappointment in Diddy. “Everybody messes up, but we can’t be cool after that. It’s unforgivable, it’s too much,” he said. “Never being able to be around us and our world ’cause we don’t condone that is definitely a fact. And from there you have to go on that journey on your own and find yourself and find forgiveness for yourself somewhere far from where we’re at. There’s no room for that here.”
Aside from asking Diddy to keep his distance from himself and everyone else who isn’t a part of abusive culture, Ray J feels that a public beating would be a proper punishment for the Hip-Hop superstar-turned public pariah.
“The homie need a public whipping. It’s the only way it’s going to be right. With a pubic whipping.” Demonstrating that Puff should be tied with his hands in the air, Ray J says P. Diddy should get “100 lashes.”
Yeah, we’re not sure if that exact method of punishment is called for. We’d rather Biggie’s mom just slap him in public while he’s getting hauled off to prison or something. Just sayin’.
Ray J also took the time to apologize to Cassie for not knowing what was going on when he kicked it with her and Puff and praised her for being strong in such dire times saying, “You are strong. I’m sorry for everything that you encountered. I’ve been around you, I’ve been around y’all. I never knew and I apologize for even continuing to just be around.”

The downfall of Sean “Diddy” Combs continues as more stories about his godawful behavior emerge.
Whatever is left of Diddy, aka The Diddler’s reputation, was flushed down the toilet after CNN shared graphic surveillance footage of the rapper/mogul viciously beating his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
The shocking video came after Cassie slapped the Bad Boy CEO with a lawsuit in November alleging physical/sexual abuse and psychological torment that he eventually settled.
But the damage was already done from the lawsuit because Cassie’s bravery opened the floodgates, leading to six more lawsuits accusing the mogul of drugging, assault, rape, and being a part of a sex trafficking operation.
Now, a new report from The Daily Beast details numerous accounts of terrifying behavior from Diddy that several former employees endured while working for him at lifestyle brand Sean John and his now-shuttered advertising agency Blue Flame.
One Former Sean John Employee Claims Diddy Grabbed Her Face
Working at Sean John was a nightmare for one former female employee at Sean John, detailing an incident when Combs grabbed her face, even making her stick out her tongue.
Per The Daily Beast:
“He didn’t like that I wasn’t agreeing with him, and he wasn’t interested in hearing my point of view,” the former employee recalled.
Instead, Combs allegedly began to yell and compared himself to a renowned fashion designer. “When you speak to me, you should imagine that you’re talking to Karl Lagerfeld,” she recalled Combs telling her. “Anything I say, assume that it’s coming from Karl Lagerfeld.”
“At that point, I didn’t have a response to that, and he reaches out and he grabs my face,” she added. “He puts one hand on both sides of my cheeks and says ‘Stick out your tongue,’ and then he squeezes my face harder and yells at me to stick out my tongue, forces his hands on my face.”
She recounted how Combs then told her he “just wanted to see” if her tongue was bleeding, because she was clearly biting it.
The employee said she “started looking for a job immediately.”
Another Employee Lost His Job Because of How He Looked At Diddy
The Daily Beast details a story from another former employee who lost his job just by making eye contact with the “Victory” crafter because he was upset with the Diddy for showing up hours late for a meeting.
The employee tells the website that Combs “took the look that I gave him personally.”
“There was erratic behavior, there was definitely what I would consider mental abuse, [with] how he spoke to us as employees,” the person told The Daily Beast, noting the insane 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. work hours due to Combs’ insane demands and the “culture of fear” he spearheaded at his company. “There was “a lot of profanity, kind of aggressive, in your face—physically in your face—kind of stuff,” the employee said.
This latest news comes after Rolling Stone’s earth-shattering expose on Diddy. He also divested from Revolt, giving all current and future employees equity in the company.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly sold his majority stake in Revolt. He founded the media company back in 2013.
Diddy’s once thought-to-be impregnable empire and reputation has been seemingly coming apart at the seams ever since November 16, 2023, when Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against the mogul accusing him of sexual assault, amongst other crimes. Although the suit was settled a day after it was filed, the damn had been broken, with multiple victims since coming forward to accuse Combs of similar abuse.
Initially, Diddy vehemently denied all the claims, and he still does, save for former Bad Boy artist Ventura’s. But that seems to be only because in May 2024, CNN acquired and shared footage of Diddy beating Cassie in the hall of a Los Angeles hotel back in 2016. The video of the incident confirmed what Cassie had described in her lawsuit. A video apology issue by Diddy shorty thereafter was almost universally maligned for its alleged insincerity.
On Tuesday (June 4), Revolt announced that Combs had sold his stake in the company. Prior to that, in late November 2023, Revolt shared that Diddy had stepped from his position as Chairman of the company.
Revolt now boasts that it is owned by employees, and remains Black-owned. “REVOLT is honored and proud to announce that, in an unprecedented and historic move in the Black media space, our newly projected largest shareholder group are REVOLT’s current employees,” read a statement announcing Combs’ shared have been “fully redeemed and retired.” “Our mission to become the largest media company powered by creators and fueled by the culture continues.”
The New York Times reports that Detavio Samuel’s, Revolt’s CEO, says, “One-hundred percent of Sean Combs’s shares have been redeemed and retired,” Mr. Samuels said in the interview. “He is no longer chairman. He is no longer on the board. He has no shares, no equity in Revolt. We have completely separated and dissociated from each other.”
Some of the other entities that have cut ties with Combs or hs products include Hulu, Capital Preparatory Schools and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.
