The world holiday that is Beyoncé’s birthday went down during her Renaissance tour stop in Los Angeles, and as expected, it was a star-studded affair.
Instead of just having a private affair, the world’s most famous Virgo held a massive celebration during another packed Los Angeles show.
Everyone, including celebs, was in their most fabulous silver drip to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday, which even featured a surprise appearance from the legendary Diana Ross.
TMZ reports Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, North West, and Penelope Disick were in the crowd to celebrate Beyoncé turning 42 years old.
Queen Bey also brought out Kendrick Lamar to perform the remix of “America Has A Problem,” which was one of the many surprises from the night.

The night’s biggest surprise came when Diana Ross graced the stage to lead the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to the Houston native.
The celebrity gossip site also reports celeb couples Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, Zenday and Tom Holland, Hailey and Justin Bieber, plus “self-made billionaire” Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, who were spotted in VIP locking lips.

Other big names in the crowd were Lizzo, Adele, Winnie Harlow, Vanessa Bryant, Rosario Dawson, Tom Sandoval, Keke Palmer, Chris Rock, Queen Latifah, Kerry Washington, Kelly Rowland, JAY-Z and Megan Markle.

It was a celebration of the ages at the SoFi Stadium that those who could attend will never forget. You can see more reactions to the epic night in the gallery below.

In an interview, Smokey Robinson reveals that he and fellow Motown Records legend Diana Ross became involved with each other despite him being married.
The singer was the subject of a lengthy interview while doing a promotion for his latest album. Gasms. As the conversation turned to how Robinson met his first wife, Claudette Rogers, he was first asked if he ever had a fling with Aretha Franklin who he grew up with in the same Detroit, Michigan neighborhood. When he responded no, he was asked about Diana Ross and he confirmed that they had an affair for “about a year”.

“I was married at the time,” Robinson said. “We were working together and it just happened. But it was beautiful. She’s a beautiful lady, and I love her right till today. She’s one of my closest people. She was young and trying to get her career together. I was trying to help her. I brought her to Motown, in fact. I wasn’t going after her and she wasn’t going after me. It just happened.”
The “Cruisin” singer then detailed how the two split. “After we’d been seeing each other for a while, Diana said to me she couldn’t do that because she knew Claudette, and she knew I still loved my wife’ Robinson said. “And I did. I loved my wife very much.” He and Rogers would remain married until 1986. Representatives for Ross didn’t respond to requests for answers.“I learned that we are capable of loving more than one person at the same time. And it has been made taboo by us. By people,”
The 83-year-old went on to say how the situation helped him gain a greater perspective on love. “I learned that we are capable of loving more than one person at the same time. And it has been made taboo by us. By people. It’s not because one person isn’t worthy or they don’t live up to what you expect – it has to do with feelings,” he said.
Robinson’s dalliance with the “Inside Out” singer was also motivation for a funny moment in the interview, where he’s told about a rumor that he and Ross were the actual parents of the late superstar Michael Jackson. “They say Diana Ross and I had Michael? Oh my God! I never heard that one, man! That’s pretty good. That’s funny! That’s funny!” When asked if Ross has heard it, Robinson said he would call her and ask.

Patti LaBelle joined Jennifer Hudson on the latter’s daytime talk show on Wednesday (Feb. 8) for a wide-ranging discussion, and most notably, the LaBelle icon opened up about her former feud with another legend, Diana Ross.

During a game of “LaBelle and Tell,” in which the star reacted to photos that appeared on screen, the 78-year-old discussed a photo embracing Ross, with the Supremes singer kissing her on the cheek. “People think that we had something against each other, but we really never did,” she revealed. “It was just the way people perceived certain things. That’s my doll, OK?”

During an August 2022 appearance on Drink Champs, the “If Only You Knew” singer recalled frustration towards Ross and the Supremes for copying her looks. “They were biting my style,” she shared at the time.

LaBelle also recalled an incident in which Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles member Cindy Birdsong left the group to join the Supremes. “That’s why we had issues,” she explained. However, she said the duo thankfully made up at an event thrown by Oprah Winfrey.

Later on in the game, LaBelle reacted to a photo of herself smiling alongside Prince. “We had a lot of history,” she said. “Prince had me at his studio and he had clothes made for me because he had that beautiful tailor in the basement of his recording studio, so they made me four outfits. He had me come to his house and cook a 12-course meal. He ate a biscuit and then after that, he took me to the club and we threw down. We had fun. He was so mysterious and awesome. Nobody knew what he was thinking.”

Hudson also thanked LaBelle for helping her take on the role of Aretha Franklin in Respect, and asked the icon who she’d like to play her in a biopic. “You already did Aretha, so you can’t do me,” LaBelle joked before naming Fantasia and Ledisi. “They can sing. They’re awesome. […] I love those ladies. You guys are the ones who call me because I’m honest and I’m blessed to know you, so I don’t want you to make any mistakes that I might have made. So you’re gonna get the truth from Ms. Patti Patti.”

“That’s why we call her Mama Patti,” Hudson replied.
