Soulja Boy calling out DDG for allegedly putting his hands on Halle Bailey was definitely not on our 2025 bingo card.
In a stunning twist of events, Soulja Boy took to X, formerly Twitter, to invite DDG to a well-deserved fade after news broke of the singer requesting a restraining order against the rapper/streamer and father of her child.
On Wednesday, May 14, Big Draco said in a post that planned on “beating the f*k out” of DDG in the wake of details and photo evidence hitting social media when news of Bailey’s restraining order hit timelines where she also alleges the former couple “fought each other” during an incident in January.
“You a b**ch a** n**ga for putting yo’ hands on Halle,” the “Crank Dat” rapper wrote on X.
Social Media Slams Soulja Boy For Blatant Hypocrisy
Well, right message, wrong messenger. That’s what many people on X are saying because Soulja Boy isn’t exactly a champion of women’s rights, mainly because he was just found liable for sexual assault of a former assistant who had to pay $4 million to.
“you ain’t even the n***a to be talkin , you hit women too . Right message wrong messenger,” one reply to Soulja Boy’s tweet read.
Another reply read, “Congrats on being the first rapper to defend a female while whooping another female ass.”
“Didn’t you sexually assault your assistant?” another user wrote on X.
Rapper Freddie Gibbs got in on the fun, replying with a simple laughing emoji.
We are definitely in the upside-down, or maybe Soulja Boy was high when he let that post off because there is no way he sent that without being aware that he is definitely in the same boat as DDG.
SMH.

ROC Nation has become the single most powerful entity on the planet. hell, the company started by JAY-Z is more powerful than the Illuminati if you asked a specific demographic of social media.
The entertainment company found itself trending once again in the wake of news surrounding Megan Thee Stallion’s shooter, Tory Lanez, getting shanked in prison. Halle Bailey airing out DDG to be an abusive POS, and providing receipts to back up her claims.
Related Stories
ROC Nation has been the focal point of Tory Lanez fans ever since his father, Sonstar Peterson (we still can’t believe that this man’s name), infamously shouted at the top of his lungs that ROC Nation would “crumble” after his son was found guilty.
“I just stood here in this Los Angeles and witnessed the worst miscarriage of justice that this world has ever seen. You want to know how I feel, I’ll tell you exactly how I feel,” Peterson said in front of the Los Angeles courthouse.
In another clip, Lanez’s father screams out, “I’m calling on the Heavens and the Earth… Roc Nation, you will crumble! I am an apostle of God, and I will be heard.”
New Developments In The Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case Has Fans Screaming “Free Tory”
God definitely wasn’t listening to his apostle because Tory Lanez is still in the clink. But following the news of his unfortunate stabbing while behind bars, a new development from his defense team claims that a security guard is ready to come forward to claim it was Kelsey, Megan Thee Stallion’s former best friend, who shot her, not Tory Lanez, give his fans he hilariously calls “umbrellas” new hope that their favorite autotune abusing “rapper/singer” will be released from jail.
If that’s the case, then it debunks one of the main conspiracies spouted by his supporters that Megan Thee Stallion stepped on glass and lied about being shot. So which is it?
Even known abuser Chris Brown hopped on his Instagram Stories to share “FREE TORY.” Now. If he felt such a way, he should have made it a permanent post on his timeline, and not something that would disappear.
Just saying.
What a hilarious mess. What else will ROC Nation be blamed for?

Halle Bailey has levied explosive claims against the father of her son, DDG, alleging that the popular streamer and music artist abused and attacked her several times during their union. On Tuesday (May 13), Halle Bailey filed to obtain a court-ordered restraining order against DDG.
In a report from TMZ, it was shared that Halle Bailey, 25, detailed the abuse she suffered at the hands of DDG, 27, adding that the issues dated back to the top of this year. The pair have not been an item since October of last year, but were still in contact as co-parents for their young son.
During a January visit to his son, DDG reportedly became angry with Bailey as she tried to get their son in a car seat, allegedly calling the singer the b-word and demanding she leave his vehicle. From there, Bailey says that the two began to scuffle, with the streamer allegedly slamming Bailey’s head against a steering wheel.
Adding to this, Bailey claimed that back in March, DDG showed up at her house and let himself in without asking, then went to her bedroom to take a photo of her empty bed. He then allegedly sent an image of the text with the caption, “now I know what u been on lol,” which Bailey presumed was charging her with having sex with other people.
Days later, the menacing allegedly continued with DDG appearing at Bailey’s home asking to see their son, but she didn’t want the boy to leave as she told the father that Mom and baby were feeling ill. DDG was allegedly angered by this and smashed Bailey’s Ring camera and took her phone. On X, the reactions to the news have fans of Halle Bailey angry and ready to ride against DDG, who feigned shock at the news during a stream with Adin Ross. Halle Bailey had to retract her initial reaction to her baby daddy, DDG, appearing on a Kai Cenat stream with their son.
Singer/actress Halle Bailey now admits she may have overreacted when she expressed her feelings about DDG bringing their son, Halo, on a Kai Cenat stream on Wednesday, Nov.6, without her knowledge.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, The Little Mermaid star wrote on Thursday, “yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. i know that Halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. thank u kai for the gifts for Halo.”
Her latest comments contrast sharply with her initial reaction, which she wrote in a now-deleted tweet that she was “extremely upset” after DDG and their son made an appearance during Cenat’s stream, describing it as “unapproved.”
Bailey said in the now-deleted tweet that she was not happy about her baby daddy putting their nearly one-year-old child in front of millions of people.
“Hi everyone. Just so you know I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and saddened I wasn’t notified especially when I am out of town,” Bailey wrote.
Essence reports that in another deleted tweet, Bailey revealed she is experiencing “severe postpartum,” adding, “There are boundaries that I wish to be respected. No one knows what someone is going through until they snap.”
As Expected, Social Media Has Plenty of Thoughts On The Matter
As expected, footage from Halo’s “unapproved” appearance went viral, and social media had plenty of thoughts about Halle Bailey’s reaction to the moment.
Some understood why the first-time mom reacted in such a matter. One user on X wrote in defense of The Color Purple star, “yall really making a postpartum mother feel bad for being upset her baby’s father didn’t tell her he was putting her baby on a stream that just got swatted less than a week ago…… okay brah.”
While others were quick to remind her that she made a child with someone who i in the same line of work as Cenat. “Girl you know you had a baby with a streamer??,” another X user wrote.
We need to give Halle Bailey some grace based on what she is going through as a first-time mom.

Just 10 months after Halle Bailey and DDG welcomed their first child together, it looks like they’re going to be co-parenting their baby boy going forward. Reports are circulating that the once happy couple are going their separate ways.
According to TMZ, The Little Mermaid star and “Impatient” rapper are headed for Splitsville, but apparently it was an amicable breakup. Going the opposite route of say a Cardi B and Offset style of separation, DDG took to social media to announce the sudden turn of events and suggested that the two sat down like grown adults before coming to the sad decision. “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” DDG said. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us.”
Not one to throw shots at his former beau turned baby mama, DDG added, “I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared,” and “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other.”
You have to love how they didn’t allow things to get messy in the public eye. At least not yet anyway.
While DDG has taken to social media to fill the world in on what’s going on in his personal life and how he feels, Halle Bailey has remained mum on the situation thus far. It might be a while before she opens up about their current situation.

Halle Bailey has officially introduced the world to her new little prince and father DDG is sharing behind-the-scenes footage.
According to the announcement made by the happy parents via Instagram, the two shared a photo of Bailey holding her new son’s hand that features a little gold bracelet that reads, “Halo,” alongside the caption:
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son,” Bailey captioned the photo. “Welcome to the world my Halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️.”
In addition, the new father posted a vlog on his YouTube channel that features some snippets of his newfound life as a dad. The new vlog entry gives fans a sneak peek at one of Halle’s 4K ultrasounds, along with some footage of him sweetly rubbing on his girlfriend’s growing bump on their baby moon in Bora Bora.
As previously reported on HHW, the couple first sparked dating rumors in January 2022, two months before going Instagram official. While Bailey is known for keeping her personal life private, including her pregnancy, DDG broke the news in April when he posted an ultrasound photo alongside the words, “Can’t wait to be your dad.”
In November, the “Angel” singer responded to a fan on Snapchat who said she had a “pregnancy nose” in a recent photo. Bailey shared a video, saying, “Listen, if I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s going to be hell to pay.”
Bailey posted an Instagram story in December shouting out her “real supporters” for being “respectful of women’s bodies.” She added, “Being under a microscope is not easy, but for the real ones who show unconditional love religiously, I appreciate you.”
DDG also gave insight as to why they chose to keep the pregnancy under wraps, saying:
“This is one of my biggest accomplishments and I wasn’t able to show it for real for real but it was for a better cause ’cause people weird,” DDG said. “People are way too much in my business, our business, at this point in time. So, definitely for the better and it made it a lot easier, bringing him into the world without a bunch of opinions.”
